The room condition was poor, the shower leaked so much we had an inch of water on the bathroom floor, the carpet look like a murder took place and the kitchenette had nothing in it. After we checked in, our room ac didn't work, so we were moved to another room and that ac didn't work. So we had to pay for an upgraded room.

Perfect place to stay in Santiago for our group of six. Lots of great restaurants within easy walking distance, and in a quiet and safe neighborhood. Staff at the hotel spoke English and were very helpful. Our room was small but it had a very comfortable king bed and nice shower.

The hotel is service and location is good. However, it is an old building and they have not invest in enough maintenance in the last years. Rooms need changing the carpet! It would also be good to have a small desk in the rooms to be able to work comfortably. Breakfast are very good with a lot of options and fresh food. Service is also very good.

Very good hotel in Providencia

Just avoid Santiago all together if possible.

The hotel is clean and the rooms are comfortable. They have mini fridges, microwaves and some dishes. They have good wifi and the breakfast is o.k. They have safes in the room that lock but won't unlock, seems to be a longstanding problem that they don't warn you about. We had a nice flat screen t.v. but the cable didn't work so no channels to watch. They didn't have our reservation in their system when we showed up so after waiting an hour we asked the front desk to store our luggage while we went to lunch. We put our luggage in a room that appeared to have a lock (later found out the lock doesn't work so anyone can go in) and when we came back my husband's backpack was gone with his passport inside. He couldn't leave the country for 3 more days until he got an emergency passport because of them and they wanted to charge us double what we could reserve it for on Hotels.com. I asked for a hotel shuttle to be reserved at 2 pm and when I came down at 6pm to go to the airport the front desk guy said he forgot to reserve it so I had to take Uber instead. That's o.k., it was cheaper anyway.

Stayed here for five nights while visiting Santiago for the first time and we weren’t disappointed. First of all, the customer service was wonderful, and I can’t thank Frank Jimmy enough for all his help. Not speaking Spanish very well can be a struggle in South America, but Frank Jimmy and his staff went out of their way to help us. With that said, here are the particulars about the hotel:
Location: loved the neighborhood of Provincia. Quiet, safe, neighborhood that had a little bit of everything. Restaurants, bodegas, and most importantly a metro station two block away. Great coffee shop across the street from hotel (another review). Used both the metro and Uber to get everywhere. Yes, downtown was a 20-minute Uber, but not staying downtown was a good thing in my opinion. Several neighborhoods to choose from, but really enjoyed Provincia.
Room: The room was amazing. Two double beds with a sitting area, separate closest area, sink, microwave, and electric kettle. Only thing missing was a refrigerator, but we made do. Had a wonderful small balcony that had a bistro table and two chairs. Pleasant view of the Andes each day. Large bathroom with stand alone shower and the room had two windows. This was considered the superior twin room and it was worth the extra money to spread out.
Restaurant:
Breakfast was included each day and it was nice. Typical meat, cheese, fruit, yogurt, eggs, bread, juices and lots of coffee. Ate dinner there one night and not that impressed…more places

The stay was good. Getting into the parking garage was not so good. If your car was low to the ground, you bottomed out. I also paid my room through Hotels.com, in which I was charged. The hotel also charged my card. It has yet to be taken off my car; it has been close to 2 weeks. This does not make me happy. Other than that, the place was great.

When I booked the hotel, the photos made it look spacious. When we got there we were given a room with a queen sized bed and about 1ft of room on each side. We asked for an upgrade in size and they complied. When I asked the employee, he told us that this is a common complaint. They did charge us an extra $60, to switch, but the room was much bigger w/ a kitchenette and sofa.

The free breakfast was pretty low in quality with eggs not mixed or fully cooked. My husband drinks a lot of coffee, but he said it was not good at all.

But, the hotel was clean, in a nice neighborhood, and the staff spoke English fairly well.

Some of the reception staff are lazy

Most of the staff was friendly & helpful, but two we encountered almost daily were more interested in their phones or whatever they were watching on their computers. We had a problem with a lost credit card and asked for assistance with calling our CC company (a collect call to the US). They didn't have a clue how to do it. Seems a lack of protocol for the hotel.

When we finally did speak to the manager (not available at the time of the incident) he was very nice an accommodating. By the way we stayed in the Presidente Suites in Puerto Montt on this same trip and the staff there was excellent. Most of them spoke good English, knew the city and could recommend places to go. They were very accommodating in every way. I would rate that hotel 4+ stars.

Enjoyed a 3 night stay during a stop over. Very friendly staff who were courteous and accommodating. Breakfast was plentiful with great variety. Rooms were comfortable (the pillow was the comfiest I've encountered in a hotel) and clean. Ability to open windows for fresh air was a bonus.
Hotel is located in a lovely neighbourhood, close to subway, supermarket and shopping.
Would be happy to stay here again.

Quiet hotel in upscalce Provencia district

We stayed two nights after a cruise around cape horn. Upon arrival the staff quickly realized that our room size would not accommodate both ourselves and all our luggage and we were given a upgraded room at no additional cost. The staff was friend and helpful. They had a shuttle that was available to take us to the airport which was very convenient. We were only three blocks from the tolabada subway station which offered an easy and economical way to get to all of Santiago's major attractions. The provencia area is one of the nicest in Santiago so if you are looking for a safe, modern and clean hotel this is the place.

I stayed there twice, my first room was very small, my husband and I can not be in the bathroom at the same time, too small too.
On out second stay a few days later we got a suite, now that was roomy and confortable!
It has a small sitting area and kitchenet
The location is very good, Costanera center and some restaurants at a walking distance, nice neightborhood. Would stay there, on a suite!

PROS: brand new, nice basic breakfast, free wireless, large suite room with stove top and mini fridge. Deep safe for laptop, satellite tv with many English channels. Quite side street and quick walk to metro station. Close to quick eat restaurants and bars. Comfortable bed. Attentive staff but English not great by all but they tried hard to accommodate. CONS:water pressure in shower was an issue, hardly any. Hot water was an issue in shower, they were quick to come up and fix but it was slow to heat up. Cleaning staff kept moving our items around room, they were being helpful but didn't feel they should move items we had left on counters to other area in room just to organize. Towels were flat and not fluffy. Pillows were flat. Taxis had a hard time finding so ensure you take key card with address as there are a few different Presidente properties in city and because suites is new it is not as known yet.

As equipes, tanto da recepção, do restaurante e limpeza são prestativos e educados. O quarto é limpo, porém é minúsculo: não tem onde colocar as malas, nem a de bordo, e tivemos que improvisar. Muito desconfortável, apesar da cama ser boa. O chuveiro é bom, mas o vazamento de água para fora do box foi horrível. Não tem duchinha higiênica. O café da manhã era razoável para um hotel 4 estrelas. As 3 frutas servidas repetidamente não eram de qualidade, e o café estava mais para \"água de batata\".
Enfim, o Hotel foi uma decepção. De quatro estrelas somente no valor da diária.

Superbra läge, väldigt nära både Cenco Costanera och Mercado Urbano Tobalaba (MUT).
Stort rum (superior) med soffa, rent och fräscht men lite solkiga heltäckningsmattor. AC fungerade perfekt och tyst.
Stor och skön dubbelsäng och sköna kuddar.
Svinhalt golv i duschen.
Frukosten var lite av den tristare sorten med torrt bröd och inte så mycket att välja på. Även hög ljudnivå i matsalen.
Poolen ser fin ut på bilder men var ganska smutsig och inte särskilt inbjudande. Ett plus dock att den var uppvärmd. Värmen gjorde å andra sidan att det lilla utrymmet kändes väldigt kvavt och instängt. Vi badade inte pga detta. Det borde även ha tillhandahållits badrockar på rummet att använda på väg till poolen.

O hotel nos recebeu com um bolinho e bilhete no quarto ja que estavamos comemorando aniversario de casamento. Foram muito carinhosos. Café da manha não tem muita variedade, mas muito gostoso. O quarto que ficamos foi o superior, muito espaçoso, chuveiro muito bom, cama boa, travesseiro um pouco alto, mas meu marido amou. Todos funionários muito atenciosos. Recebemos um kit para os passeios quando não pudemos tomar cafe. o cartao para entrar no quarto tinha um pouco de dificuldade para abrir, mas logo pegamos o jeito. Perto de tudo, região tranquila, proximo do costaneira mall, pertinho do metro, sorveteria e restaurantes. Enfim... me hospedaria novamente com certeza. Excelente custo benefício.

Na chegada, tivemos a ingrata surpresa que o quarto reservado não estava disponível (tinha só com 1 cama, e reservamos 2 camas) - para que reservar, então??? A saída foi ficarmos uma noite em quarto de categoria inferior, mas com 2 camas, com ínfima redução na tarifa da diária.
Os ar-condicionados não funcionaram a contento em nenhum dos 2 quartos. Num quarto, nem chegou a esquentar direito, no outro, quarto maior, só gelava na frente do ar, e as camas estavam mais afastadas, o que causava um calor.
Pessoal da recepção bastante solícito para atender nossas demandas. Ficamos satisfeitas.
Café da manhã muito bom.
Localização muito boa.

Estadia excelente. As instalações do hotel com picina aquecida e banheira no quarto, equipe de funcionários, limpeza do quarto, toalhas e roupas de cama de alto padrão, café da manhã excelente e localização incrível (bem próximo ao costanera center) e diversos restaurantes e áreas de compras. Nunca me senti tão seguro em um local. A hospedagem foi incrível e indico fortemente esse hotel para todos que forem para Santiago.

Sugestões de melhora:

1- o café da manhã poderia variar um pouco mais as coisas.
2 - o quarto ou é de duas camas de solteiro ou tem banheira, os dois não é possível obter. (Creio que ter essa opção para os hóspedes seria interessante)

* Crítica ao serviço do hotéis.com: não me informaram que a reserva não reembolsável descontava direto no cartão de crédito. No app falava que o pagamento era na localidade. Informação incorreta e pode complicar pessoas que não estejam preparadas financeiramente. Tive que pagar bem a mais por conta disso e no final saiu o valor da reserva reembolsável.

Local nota 10, muito bem localizado, próximo estação metrô Tobalaba, , e também do SKY Costanera, da pra fazer tudo a pé, e alinha vermelha do metrô interliga a todos os pontos turísticos.

Retornaria ao ABBAS com certeza!!!!
