Pool and hot tub were both closed. Rooms were clean, but our door had to be pushed and double checked to be shut. Plumbing in bathroom was an issue. Breakfast was not worth purchasing in my opinion. Staff was very friendly and tried to assist as much as they could. Overall you get what you pay for.

NOT AS ADVERTISED! Pool is closed for the season as of March 2026, room was not cleaned from prior guest upon my arrival, you have to request daily cleaning if you want fresh towels (had to request multiple times because it wasn’t done), over half of the parking lot was closed without notification making it incredibly hard to park, parking prices have increased without communication & our bathroom floor would get soaked every time used because the curtain wasn’t properly fitted.

The hotel was okay, we expected there to be free breakfast like it said on the website but there was no free breakfast, the parking fee was higher than what it said it was on the website, and the transportation to get to Disneyland wasn’t the greatest. We didn’t know we had to pay for transportation to the parks. And there were so many stops on the way to Disney and they took a very long time picking us up after. So we decided to drive to California adventures ourselves even though that’s why we picked the hotel so we wouldn’t have to pay for parking. The rooms were okay I liked how they did not have carpeted floors but they definitely need to improve in detail cleaning. There was a lot of stains and marks along the walls and furniture. The staff was nice be we barely interacted with them.

This was my second time staying at the sonesta Anaheim Resort Area Hotel and all I can say I love it they are amazing nothing but helpful just about a 25min walk to Disneyland the rooms are amazing the both times I stayed there and the staff very friendly and helpful. Overall the hotel is amazing

It was super close to Disneyland and in a quiet safe area. It’s reasonably priced, cleanliness was decent, my only complaint was that the walls are so thin and there was a dog next door that barked a lot.

I do not recommend this hotel. The customer service at check-in was very rude, the service was terrible, they didn't provide clean towels, there was no toilet paper, the toilet was clogged and didn't work, the phone didn't work, supposedly breakfast was included but they charge extra and there was only coffee and croissants, parking costs $35 per night per car. A very bad experience for me and my family, I do not recommend it

A nice mid tier hotel. Clean with very friendly and helpful staff. The hot tub is lovely. Don’t expect a luxury experience - but you shouldn’t. It’s a nice place for a nice price staffed by nice people in a nice location. That should be enough for anyone. Definitely recommended and would return.

I arrived at 1 AM with my 20-month-old baby after driving 3 hours, only to find out they overbooked and had no rooms available despite my confirmed reservation through Expedia. An exhausted baby in the middle of the night with nowhere to sleep after a long drive. Instead of taking responsibility, they were busy deflecting all blame to Expedia and refused to offer any solutions themselves. This is completely unacceptable. Overbooking is the HOTEL'S responsibility, not the guest's problem. Any reputable hotel would have immediately arranged alternative accommodation at their expense, but this hotel did absolutely nothing except point fingers at the booking platform.
DO NOT RISK BOOKING HERE. This hotel clearly has no regard for their guests, confirmed reservations, or basic human decency. They will throw you under the bus and blame everyone else.
Save yourself the nightmare and book elsewhere.

I always choose this hotel when we go to Disney. Never had an issue. The only thing I would recommend is for the cleaning crew to check behind the beds. Found some hot cheetos on the floor and a lot of dust.

Great place to rest my head the bed was great and the shower.
Very clean everywhere. My only complaint was it was still Christmas in the lobby. Me as a business owner would have my employees that take care of that kind of stuff in there on maybe January 1 and it’s all gone. I am gone, but that’s just me it did not make a difference. I would stay there multiple times the rest of my life. I love the place just saying and maybe to take down the Christmas ornaments before we get to January 10.
