Its a fifty buck hotel room, which is usually fine but there is an air inlet in the room which makes it sound as if there is a vaccum cleaner running 24 hours a day, so good luck sleeping with that noise going all day and night. I was waking up every 3 hours because of it. It gets wildly irritating. Three nights of that and my heads feels terrible.

Basic accommodation, tea and coffee machine charges almost 3 euros for a brew, rock hard bed, woke early not by choice - it's on a noisy industrial estate, out of town, continental breakfast was ok. Better than a premiere class (just), ok for a stop over enroute to somewhere else. Staff on the front desk were very welcoming.

Great room for a one night stay, with en suite shower and toilet in a seperate area. Clean sheets, warm water, good choices for breakfast. I had two beds in the room, but only used one. Sheets are synthetic, which may cause skin issues, for me it was ok, although I prefer 100% or 80% cotton sheets.

The room smelled like bathroom sewer I complained the guy told me he smells nothing, after 1 night the room humidity were high and there is no ventilation other than opening the window that has no net so mosquitos entered the room and I had to close it. It felt like a prison cell

This was a ground floor room, the AC did not work, and there were too may insects to open the window. The room was very small, and bathroom was more of a sink in the bedroom, and a shower cabinet. The floor was not clean and room was dated.

Should’ve asked for a better room or at least money back for the room but we arrived at midnight and just wanted to sleep. Basically flies were flying everywhere and the sink wouldn’t drain. Granted guy checking us in was friendly though - the only positive.

Comfortable enough, adequate accommodation, but some small issues- toilet roll holder falling off wall and flickering light in the shower.
Shower cubicle is in the room so not ideal if sharing with a friend. Toilet door has no lock, and a large gap above the top of the door- so make sure you’re very comfortable with who you’re sharing with!!

Although a very cheap night, the property was poor. First off, the hotel is difficult to spot until you drive past it, the signage is not clear either. The best part of the hotel was the staff who were lovely and even gave us directions to the city centre. We stayed on the first floor, which smelt horrific, a mix between wet dog and damp. The smell was so strong I held my breathe every time I walked down the hall. The main reason though I am so disappointed, is because the property advertised on here with air conditioning. It was an uncomfortably hot night and I turned on the air conditioner, but no difference? I left it for an hour but still no difference. I went to reception and asked for a new room or the AC to be fixed. I was informed that it was not AC, but instead pulls in air from outside and fans it around, and does not cool it. I specifically booked the hotel because of the AC, as I hate a hot room at night. The receptionist had a bad attitude about it with the approach of “well it’s not AC, soooo?”

We chose this hotel because of the location. It was perfect for our journey to Germany. There's no doubt that the room was clean and staff friendly. However, the temperature of the room was unbearable. The aircon is not sufficient and did not cool the room. It was difficult to rest and sleep in the room due to this.

A great place overall to explore the area.
I stayed there for 3 nights coming from Brussels airport and driving to tourist places within ~1hr drive of Antwerp. This hotel was outside of the urban area which made it (1) easy to drive to without awful traffic jams (2) had parking!
The hotel was clean, staff was nice, and had plenty of parking. Bed was standard, room was standard for a European hotel - which means small and without coffee machine or microwave (which are more common in hotel rooms in the US).
There are 2 things I'd suggest improving for the property:
1. Get the key to unlock your windows when customers ask and have them sign the liability waiver so they can open the windows. This is critical in COVID times, not being able to open the window means not being able to refresh the air from the previous guests.
2. I had put the \"do not disturb\" sign on my door but on day 2 someone entered the room for cleaning regardless. That's not great, I'm glad I didn't have anything precious left in the room. If I put the DND sign on the door I expect the cleaning staff NOT to enter the room.
That aside, the property has a shared microwave in the rest area which came very handy for warming things up. They also have a restaurant I believe, which I didn't try as I only came in late at night every time. The room unfortunately was old and cold!.The heating did not work properly and the room was cold. there was nothing that could be done unfortunately by reception. Parking is good and secure with a security guard coming round regularly. For one night I would stay again as it is convenient and fairly cheap.

We booked this hotel as it has parking. Breakfast has no hot food (just breads, cheese and ham slices) but it costed €7, no restaurant in the hotel, room is like an aeroplane pod, sink is outside the shower room. Toilet is in another tiny box. It's bunk bed as well. We gave €20 deposit for the hair dryer and got it back after we returned it. It's clean and quiet but it's just average. You get what you paid

Exactly as described, this Budget Hotel is a clean, comfortable, out-of-town place to stay for travellers, with a large car-parking area on site. Easy public service link for a half-hour journey into Antwerp's old city, which is probably the most unsung tourist gem in Europe.

The saying 'Does what is states on the can' applies completely to Ibis Budget. The clue is in the name as well! Not a hotel for ambience of location, but to efficiently and importantly 'safely' rest the family's head, then you can do no better for the price. Short car journey (10 mins) to the centre of Antwerp, perfect!

This hotel was great for a stay in Antwerp for a conference at the Metropolis. The facilities are great, but basic - just as you would expect for a hotel in this price range.

An okay basic hotel
Cheap and cheerful. The room was clean and reasonably comfortable. The light in the toilet was not working; I reported it immediately but it was not fixed until we left. The location is a bit far away from the city centre with only one infrequent bus bus service. Taxi to Antwerp Central costs over 20 Euros which offsets whatever savings one may have made on the price of the room. Will probably not choose this hotel again.

I booked the hotel only because the city center ones were full. But I was pleased with the hotel - it is ideal for travellers passing through Antwerp with transport - but difficult without transport - need to use the bus service which I found OK.

The room was very, very small. 3 bed room with 1 double bed, bunk bed above and surely not enough space for 3 people with a luggage. You enter the shower cubicle straight from the room (no actual bathroom) and there in another cubicle with the toilet. Sink next to the bed. However it was clean, quiet and the beds were comfortable.
