We stayed in a studio with our 2 children which worked really well for a family as it’s a duplex so we all had our own space but stayed together. The hotel was lovely and clean, very comfortable and the breakfast was fabulous! The staff were very friendly and helpful right throughout our stay and the location is great. We would definitely recommend this hotel. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Very central location. Breakfast excellent. Room very clean but a bit small. Loud noises of running water at all hours whenever anybody in the rooms above yours flushes a toilet or takes a shower. Room a bit too hot for me and heating control refused to switch on. Room door security bolt would not lock. Good value for the price.

Basic hotel with terrible staff attitude

What a joke of a hotel.

1.At check-in, the receptionist smugly told us he was giving us a “good room with a patio” — as though he was doing us a huge favor. Reality check: we had already booked that room. Don’t try to pass off what we paid for as some sort of upgrade.

2.The patio door was broken the moment we arrived. Instead of treating it as a problem, the receptionist shrugged it off and said it was “ok.” Ok? The patio is shared with another room — meaning anyone could have walked straight into ours. Only after we insisted, and after an unreasonably long wait, did someone reluctantly come to deal with it. Absolutely unacceptable when it comes to guest safety.

3.When we asked for a simple hot water flask and toothbrush, the response at reception was: “you have a lot of requests huh?” Excuse me? Asking for basic amenities now counts as “a lot of requests”? This is hospitality at its laziest and most unprofessional.

The attitude of the male reception staff was consistently rude, dismissive, and downright unwelcoming. If this is the hotel’s idea of service, they desperately need training — or new staff altogether.

Honestly, this place couldn’t even meet the standards of a budget motel, let alone a European hotel. If you’re considering staying here, do yourself a favor: look elsewhere unless you enjoy being treated like an inconvenience instead of a guest.

Nice hotel - great location next to Central Station. Staff very helpful. Decent breakfast buffet (though no-one checked that we’d actually paid for this service so anyone could have had it!). Air conditioning in room didn’t work. Although indicated as being available in the hotel info folder, there were no additional toiletries to be found at Reception. TV only had two channels…in Spanish!

This was the dirtiest hotel I’ve ever stepped foot in. The room reeked of smoke and the towels too. Came out of the shower smelling worse than before. There were stains all over and dust and hair all over the room. They provide you with only ONE pillow. What kind of 4 star hotel is that. I had to leave early and they refused to refund me for the night I didn’t stay. I have to say the location is great it’s right by the Antwerp central station. But again, if you care at all about your hygiene or cleanliness stay away.

I recently stayed at the hotel, chosen for its location near Antwerp station and local amenities. Unfortunately, my experience was disappointing.

We arrived late Friday evening and struggled to find parking. After circling the area, we were told there was no parking available and were left to find our own. At check-in, we were informed the Wi-Fi was down, with no prior notice given.

The next morning, I tried calling reception multiple times for an iron and ironing board. After finally reaching someone and waiting 20 minutes, I was told to come collect and return it myself, which I found inconvenient.

After a day out, we returned to find the room had not been cleaned and no fresh towels provided. Reception informed us housekeeping had left for the day and could only provide towels.

The room did not match photos online—tight space, a very small shower with no full door, and water spilling onto the floor. I paid more expecting a better experience, but the service and room did not reflect the cost.

A superb hotel but Google where to park and how to get to the car park . hotel has a car park but public one is a 5 minute walk from the hotel. €25 for 24 hours The railway station is opposite and is well worth a look as a beautiful place loads of diamond shops and close to shops and restaurants

My room had everything I'd want - ensuite, TV, wardrobe, safe, fridge etc but was small especially the bathroom.
It is in a very busy location with a lot of traffic and people but this was never an issue in terms of sleeping.
Breakfast was good with quality food on offer.
Staff were very friendly, professional and helpful.
The hotel is very close to the central station and also tram/metro which made travelling to museums and other sights very easy.
I'd happily stay there again.

I stayed here in 2018 and hade a lovely time, this visit was not equally as good. The hotel has expanded and some of the refurbishments have not been done to a good quality. Creaky floorboards, banging doors, noisey toilet and sink flushes. My room was so small you could not swing a cat in it.The view from my 'window; was a sewage pipe and two big extractor fans . NOT VERY NICE. If I owned this hotel I would never put a visitor in that room.Being bigger causes more problems, chaotic breakfasts, sat on a dirty table for the complete duration of my meal, staff are all casual dress, so you do not know who is who.Everything is online/app, room cleaning, check in /out but had two diffenent emails to checkin, resulting in me getting charges twice for my breakfasts. I will see how this pans out. As stated before my previous stay was very good, the hotel is centrally located, close to station, bars, restaurants , shops and walking dfistance to the old town. I would stay here again but with reservations

We booked a double room with 2 single beds and ended up with a double bed which wasnt the end of the world. The air conditioning was perfect in the middle of the heat wave. My biggest problem was the room door opened straight facing into the bathroom and the bathroom didnt have a door for some reason which put me off showering or any other type of bathroom activity other than a quick pee or brushing my teeth

over paid for room

We paid for and had a good room when we checked in, but sadly there was a fire in the hotel at 2:30 am and we had to vacate the hotel for about 12 hours. The hotel room we were previously in was deemed uninhabitable. we were moved to a room in the back which was smaller, noisier and we had to sleep on the couch because the bed was up a steep flight of stairs which i found painful to climb. i did not get the same quality of room that i paid for and there was only a skimpy letter saying they were sorry.

I stayed in this hotel for 4 nights. I was attending a conference and other colleagues stayed in this hotel and other hotels nearby. We at leonardo did not have an acceptable wifi. A lot of times during the day and noght there was no internet.
The room was OK but you could hear all the noise from rooms nearby. The shower was old and not enough water flowing through. The toilet fan was not working either.
Breakfas was very simple and limited. There were only Halal turkey ham, no sussages or rashers. No specific chiice of pastries either.

Hotel was reasonable for the price, right across the street from public transit, clean. Was on the small side in the room and can get crowded for just two people, but I suppose that is how it can be with city center European hotels. They did have trouble finding my Hotels.com reservation but eventually found it with help from a manager. I would stay again if it was a good price for my scenario.

Everything was great and convenient for people who want to enjoy the city center. The stuff kinda rude (some of them) it happened to me twice. Every time I enter the hotel, they asked about my name and room number even though the elevator cannot take you to other any floor without an access card. Unnecessary, from them to do so! Overall, it is a nice hotel.

Sit on someone else's Pee on WC!

The hotel crew is really harsh! The bathroom was not properly clean and there are tolilet marks on WC from the previous stay of someone. I have shared my complaints to the guy at the reception and he said i cannot do much until next day morning as there is no one out to clean the bathroom. This is really annoying!

The rooms were comfortable enough with working (and much needed) air conditioning. It is centrally located just steps from the train station which is convenient. It is within walking distance to all the major neighborhoods. It can be a bit loud at night though according to some of our friends with rooms facing the street. We luckily had a room facing the central courtyard area so it was quiet.

AWeful, worst hotel i have ever been to, no wardrobes, noi draws or shelves, had to put most things on the window ledge, wash basin outlet jammed, reception took out plug completely this was\ on a friday, said no one could fix it till monday, mirror with a metal bar top of mirror where clothes were hung, could not use mirror tiny bathroom, been to many hotels never in my life complained this was an absolute disgrace, even the staff were embarressed, never again, luckey only there for 3 days.

Great location, impossible to reach via sat nav.

The location was suberb. But it took us over 2 hours to park the car, as Antwerp is being dug up everywhere and so many diversions the sat nav could bot cope, the hotel did not inform is of this. In the end we had to park 10 minute walk away from the hotel and drag all our sruff in. Whe we toldnthe hotel they said we have a garage and heres a map. That was too late. We also asked for an early morning call in the morning, which did not happen. Room was confortable and breakfast was good. So it is worth a stay if you can navigate your car somehow to the hotel. If you arrive by foot, idea as its next door to the train station.

The problem with this place, simply, is that the building needs thorough exterior renovation due to street noise. Corner rooms overlooking the area near the train station are subject to random noise from the streets below, especially from rowdy drunks at weekends. The exterior windows are old, single-pane antiquities. The room itself was OK, and a quieter interior room might have been sufficient.

Place is OK otherwise, but why not offer a room rate that includes breakfast?

Truly awful. The shower flooded the bathroom and the bathroom. It took two days of badgering to be fixed. Just what we needed when we were there for my fathers funeral. The staff tried but the manager just didn’t care which became apparent when he was talking to the desk staff in Flemish which I speak! Don’t go, pay a few euros more and enjoy the experience elsewhere. There were mice running around on the second floor flat roofs... great. The place needs gutting.

When I got to my room it smelled like someone had smoked in it. I told the front desk about it and said the room was still ok with me but I didn’t want to be charged after I left for smoking in the room. Then I laid on the bed and took a shower. When I was done, I went to get back on the bed and a wet yellow spot had appeared on the bed near the headboard. I told the front desk guy who said he couldn’t give me another room because they were full. He did not offer to have at least the linens changed. The next day, I put a sign on the door requesting to have the room cleaned . They did not bother to hchange the sheets and just pulled the duvet up over it.
The bathroom wasn’t bad, but the AC didn’t work very well. Also, at one point, there was a pigeon in the hallway of the hotel.

The hotel is perfectly located right across the street from the central station. Plenty of restaurants, bars and stores around the neighborhood. The room was spacious and comfortable, however our towels had yellow stains and the walls were a little dirty. The bed was comfortable and it was a good place to spend the night.

Friendly staff, bad hotel

While the staff was of great help and understanding of everything, this hotel lacks rooms, in the middle of summer, with air conditioner. They just gave me a fan and practically said, \"oh well here you go\".This made it incredibly difficult for me to sleep as I desperately need air conditioner, especially in the summer, to sleep. It was also a bit dirty and cramped. However, it was on a great location as it was just a few feet from Antwerpen Central.

Great location for exploring Antwerp

We had a fab corner room with 2 sets of French windows to open & watch all the street action.

However, it was +30C outside & there was no air con or fan so the room was far too hot for sleeping.

We would stay there again but not in summer.

Tight squeeze in the shower for anyone not a skinny minny.

It’s cheap & cheerful & a convenient location less than a minute from Central Station. Really recommend if you’re arriving in late.

Hotel ideal as it is close to Railway Station.

The hotel was fine for a short, 4 night trip.
For the price we paid, the rooms were okay but the decor very tired and in need of updating.
Unfortunately our room was at the back of the hotel which overlooked a small pedestrian street with
bars which stayed open late. As a consequence it was difficult to get to sleep and also we were awoken in the middle of the night with people talking and shouting. And on one occasion music playing at 5.00am.

Horrible wifi. Wifi is \"free\" but if you want more than dial-up level internet, you must pay premium rate. So no real \"free\" wifi. Worse yet, reception did not know how to sell the upgrade wifi tokens--so I had a business trip with no internet. Not good

Perfectly nice hotel, very well located next to the station. Staff friendly, breakfast perfectly adequate. Wifi worked well. Room and bathroom was clean.

Rather noisy outside though, and soundproofing is poor. Randomly, and not the fault of the hotel of course, there was a pop concert in the main square outside my window, that started at 6am. A very loud concert that started with pop music, then moved onto drum and bass, and back to pop again. Who starts a pop concert at 6am?!!! Anyway, fair to say it kept me awake, but overall a nice stay.

The Leonardo was a nice enough hotel but it was the staff that made our stay. The location of the hotel is just across from the train station. It was a very busy spot. We arrived around 11:00 and went directly to the hotel to see if could leave our luggage since check in time wasn't until later. They found us a room right away and things were great. Unfortunately, our room faced a back street where there were cafes, which wasn't a problem until that night. The party went on until 4:15 am. Needless to say, we didn't get much sleep. In the morning, we asked to have our room changed to an inner room and they were so accommodating. They changed our room to an inner room with a/c. the rest of our stay was terrific.

Hotel is located just steps from Antwerp Train Station, Metro, and shopping area. Be aware that not all rooms have A/C. In a warm, it could get very uncomfortable. Staff is very efficient. Breakfast is adequate.

Check-in was very easy and information about the area was detailed. The hotel's location is very convenient - literally across the road from the central station and very near restarants, bars and transport facilities. All the staff were attentive and helpful, from front of house staff to cleaning staff. But there was one big drawback - the hotel had no Wi-Fi for the 3days that I was there. And with no internet cafe in the area, this really put me at a disadvantage!

Have stayed at this hotel on a number on a number of occasions, its comfortable, provides a good breakfast and conveniently located adjacent to the Central Railway Station.

Good location in city centre

Helpful staff at the desk. Room was nice, cleaned everyday. TV worked, nice to have some English channels. Very helpful to have parking in a city centre hotel. They do need to get free wifi for their customers, I was not the only one surprised at the cost.

Good location for the station.

Sound hotel but parts of it are now a little tired. Too many extra charges for modern expectations such as very high charges for WiFi access. I didn't need air conditioning, but there were some rooms with it again at an extra charge. I would use again, for the convenience of location.

Working in Antwerp.

Really can't say to much about this hotel, if you are looking for a convenient hotel close to Antwerp central station the this is why I picked this one. Staff excellent, the room I had on the 2nd floor not good, no AC and very tired decor. If you want cheep and cheerful this is it, but not for a long stay .

Very convenient for railway station

Great location, very friendly staff but room was very dark as needed to keep curtains closed for privacy. Also, there wasn't any air-con in the room and it was extremely hot and stuffy at night.
