Sadly, the room didn’t resemble the online pictures. The room was dated and tired looking. The headboards have seen better days and the door/window couldn’t be closed due to a rubber pipe going out. Meant noice from Hyde Park at 10-10.30pm was loud and the children just couldn’t sleep through it. Door lock didn’t work and despite efforts to fix it - it remained broken and we were not offered a move. Good location but wouldn’t recommend. Needs an update for the price being charged.

Considering the price I paid I was underwhelmed. The bathroom was incredibly small, basic and aged. It was compact like using the toilet on a plane. Shower was over a very high bathtub and would have been impossible to use for some older adults. Bedroom itself was fine. The adjacent restaurant was good with fair pricing for London.

The area and room had an odour of smoke. The ventilation system and fan was quite noisy, even when we turned there fan down to the lowest setting. Bus transit was very close and convenient, although the tube stations were at least 10mins walking.

Marriot Marble Arch is conveniently located with easy access to public transportation with a few bus stops right in front and the closest tube station about a 10 min walk. We were very pleased with the management as they were able to move us to a different room when we reported heating was broken in our room.
Being a London hotel, it was not spacious, but we had adequate room for our luggage and walked comfortably in the room. The hotel is located in a posh local neighborhood surrounded by Oxford Street as well as several ethnic restaurants on Edgeware Road.
The daily breakfast buffet was truly amazing.
If we return to London, we want to stay at this property!

The staff were very welcoming and professional, top notch king size bed and very soft pillows.
The only thing that ruined it for us is that the room was located just behind the lift, which means you would hear all the different sounds that it makes all the time, I woke up a couple of times at night actually.
Breakfast was nice with many options, just don't got for the scramble eggs!

First time we have stayed at this hotel. In a good location however, it is literally just metres inside the congestion charge zone. Parking at the hotel is extremely narrow so be aware if in a big car!

Our room was very nice with plenty of room and good bathroom facilities and decent power shower. Complimentary water together with tea/coffee was most welcome. Disappointed to have an empty fridge! What's that all about?

Bar was nice and great friendly staff.

Breakfast was okay, scrambled egg was very weird just full of milk!! (That needs sorting out as a few people like us avoided it for that reason) could also do with some real Greek yogurt.

All the hotel staff were very good.

The only good thing about this hotel is the location. The price we paid was extortionate and the standard was about as good as a premier inn. The rooms are dated, rust on the pillows, bathrooms tired and dirty. There was a buzzing sound from our door that sounded like a mosquito. Would not recommend.

Upon arriving they checked me in a room were the AC is out of service and the mini fridge doesn’t work. After complaining they moved me to another room were same problems exists. I had to wait for the service team to come over and fix the problems. The room are small and doesn’t worth the high price. The hotel is old and the lounge is not private

I was disappointed as I expected this property to be similar to other Marriott locations. It’s an old building that was likely bought from another chain. The carpets are dingy and worn. The furniture is also dated, circa late 80s. The room thermostat was broken so we had no air conditioning or heat but thankfully the weather was cool so it wasn’t needed. The staff were helpful and were the saving grace. I wouldn’t stay here again though, despite the central location.

The property claims that parking available but doesn’t mention if it’s included or has extra charges. It was so expensive to park at the property’s car park. £8 an hour.
No electric car chargers available.
Don’t get deceived by pictures, the room and bathroom are not that big as it shows in pictures. We were a bit disappointed to see the room and narrow toilet. The very noisy air conditioning/air-heater was not pleasant to sleep in.

I booked a king, on arrival none was available but they didnt tell me that. They claimed I was to be put in a bigger family room with a queen and clained it was an \"upgrade\".
When I saw the room I immediately asked to be moved to what I did actually book, they had to come clean. Admitted they didnt have one but would move me first thing the next day and add 10,000pts to my Bonvoy as an appology. I did get the room move late afternoon the next day but never received the promised points for the inconvenience. Sloppy service from a Marriott. Asid from that the hotel is well located and whilst old, it is well maintained.

With taxes and fees my four nights at Marriott Marble Arch cost $2,425, $606.25 a night.

For $606 dollars a night, I expected this hotel to be exceptional. What an absolute disappointment. The room's (room 420) air conditioner did not work. I called the front desk and was given a portable AC unit. This required the sliding door to be open for the vent hoses. Edgware Road is VERY loud on the weekends (revving motorcycles) which didn't allow for restful sleep.

Additionally, the room had black mold, torn wallpaper and a spring mattress that must have been placed in the room in 1965. It was literally dipped that the bedding couldn't even hide how worn it was.

The Marriott brand should be ashamed to be associated with hotel and whoever is the operator is surely rolling in coins because they've done zero updating to this worn out hotel.

Check in staff was very polite and professional. Hotel was cleaned, breakfast was lovely. Great location for where we were going and Hotel car park was a secure area. The only downside was a crack basin in the bathroom and looked like a leak under the basin to which we reported this to the reception staff. I would highly recommend this Hotel and would definitely go back there again

The only issue we had was our thermostat broke our last night there and they claimed it could not be fixed. Little effort was put forth from a customer service perspective. We had a pretty bad stay. Our room was awful to be honest; small, the lamps flickered/buzzed, the bathroom was insanely dated and ugly, there was the smell of cigarette smoke coming through the ancient air conditioning vent in the morning, and there was an incessant loud clanging sound from pipes the other side of the wall ALL NIGHT. We stayed for 2 nights and didn’t realise the noise until bed time as we had been out, and then we were out all day for a wedding the next day and again did not get back until late - otherwise I would have absolutely demanded another room. We had 715 so if you get that when you check in, refuse it!!! Wasn’t overly impressed with how front desk dealt with it this morning when they asked how our stay was. We just explained it was pretty bad in honesty, and they basically said it was a shame and bye! Why ask then? I stayed in a Brussels Marriott last week, an airport Marriott late last year and an NYC Marriott about a year ago. They were all fantastic and were the only reason we felt happy booking this overpriced room for 2 nights. To be in central London a stones throw from some of the most expensive houses in the country and be given this abomination of a room was nothing short of a joke. I’m not a fussy hotel user - a decent bed (the bed here was fine btw) and a clean/quiet space to come back to should be the bare minimum. This was dated, uncomfortable, dark, small, ugly, loud, cramped and it stunk. I absolutely do not recommend this hotel.

Overpriced hotel and extremely dated rooms. The had a large portable noisey portable AC unit in the room that needed a duct to go outside via a window. I was with my four year old child and this was extremely difficult room to stay in due to the noise. The window had to be left open for that duct. When I went down to ask them to change the room they said nothing available.

The only positive thing in this hotel was the breakfast buffet. Would never recommend this hotel to anyone.

In conclusion, I was glad that I was only there was one night.

Mark, at the front desk in the evenings, was a fantastic resource for directing us to, and getting us into, the best places to visit, restaurants and shops, and getting quick access to transportation. He and all of the staff were great! That was just an added bonus perk. We would definitely stay there again! Thanks for a great vacation guys!

The room that was provided did not have air conditioning. I reported it to the front desk the first night and they said it was working and also recommended opening a window and use a portable unit that was in the room.

Second night I reported the discomfort and they said they would look into it. After the third night they agreed the air was not working and gave us another room

This was not acceptable for 3 of the 5 nights.

We paid $421 a night and was put in a room that nothing is working! We walked into the room there was a space heater and a potable fan, which mean the hotel knows the heat and ac are broken and they still cgecked us in the room! For the last 15 years. I have been only staying with Marriott because of their royal treatment to me. Every M hotel i checked in, i was upgraded due to my titanium and platinum status! But this time all i got was a low level motel experience! Never go back for sure

Go somewhere else! This is not a Marriott hotel nothing is functioning, light is broken and no ice machine on the floor and no one answer the room services call! ! Paying so much to receive a cheap motel services!!!

Will contact Marriott member services and file a complain! Ruin the M hotel reputation for sure! Very very upset.

Great location close to the most important attractions in London. Very close to bus stops and metro to move to other parts of the city. They were very friendly and allowed me to early check in at 12:00 noon after my 7 hours trip from the USA. That allowed my family to rest at least for 3 hours before going out recharged! Very nice staff.

The Receptionist Tamra was terrible, she was extremely rude and had a really bad attitude and to me it is worth it to check out other hotels just because i expect to be respected, especially when i am respectful.

Disappointing stay. Room (on first floor) was FREEZING with only a small heater available that wasn’t working. Asked reception for a new heater. Receptionist, who seemed unbothered and didn’t note anything down, offered extra blankets and a new heater but it NEVER came. Tried to ring but phone didn’t work! Then loud music started playing late at night from the bar downstairs which was having Christmas party. Music so loud it sounded like it was next door. Had to finally complain and was given a new room without a fuss by a different, friendlier receptionist which redeemed the place only slightly. TV didn’t work in that room but was too tired to complain further. Overall, not what we expected from a Marriott. Avoid.

Upon arrival to our room we noticed a small space heater and the thermostat not working. I called the front desk, they informed me the space heater was \"extra\" since the temperature was -0C. They sent housekeeping to check the thermostat and upon arrival they brought another space heater, when I asked the employee what this was for he said the heater was not working. Terrible service, front desk did not help us with finding another hotel and said to come back in the morning to see what type of \"credit we could ge\"
