No catering onsite due to kitchen renovations. This fact was not clearly advertised on website and was only discovered on arrival. The works were very noisy and the premises, including courtyards, dusty and dirty as a result. The air-conditioning worked only sporadically, leading to one very uncomfortable night before we left for a different hotel. Ibis hotels are normally basic, but good. This one is perhaps the worst of the franchise we have ever seen.

Loved this property. Staff are friendly and helpful and the breakfast selection was great, they even had lactose free milk! The hotel is also close to a Lidl and bus routes which is very convenient, and only a 25min drive from Granada airport. Would definitely visit again.

Clean and comfortable accommodation with lovely breakfast and nice restaurant for other meals, drinks and coffees. Welcoming guest staff. Commercial district beside highway. Travelling solo with ESA - all good.
Tourist class hotel suitable for families and groups. Parking underground for 6 euros was very convenient and super price.

The lobby and breakfast area was nice and welcoming. But my room had an odor and was really hard to air out because the windows don’t open. The room was really basic and just okay. The plus was they had parking and it was pretty spacious. I didn’t not like the location as it was hard to find and was tucked behind other building. Otherwise, it was so-so.

Nice hotel. A bit away from then city center but I was ok with that because i had a car and there is convinient parking onsite and it's easy to get the to the city by public transport. In addition there is a big supermarket near by which was very useful. Stuff are nice and helpful and it was a good value for money.

Como todo los hoteles Ibis este tiene un toque moderno pero muy comodo. Queda un poco retirado de Granada por lo que es ideal con carro. Siempre conseguimos parking gratis en la calle. Para ir a Granada hay bus o metro (15-17 min) y la estacion de metro tiene parking gratis. El desayuno es variado y bueno. Los de recepcion son muy amables y siempre nos ayudaron en todo. Habitacion y baño un poco pequeño.

It is difficult to get to the Alhambra and old town by bus. We found free parking on the road to Alhambra so parked there for the day. Do not miss Granada Cathedral It is so opulent it is obscene. A picturesque city to walk around.

Well priced location for Granada visit. Quite a way from town though and over Holy Week not much open nearby so ate in the hotel - quite nice and very reasonable.
Usual Ibis set up so if you like Ibis then you'll already know what to expect - for newcomers; cheap, bright and clean, cheerful, nice staff and good breakfasts.

Any Ibis hotel rarely brings any surprises and this one is no different: it is perhaps one of the newer ones, e.g. much nicer than some of those found in France, and it has a nice layout around an internal patio which makes all rooms looking onto it very quiet. The location is very convenient for quick access to the motorway network, less so for the city centre, again no difference from the typical Ibis. Overall we loved it!

Clean, comfortable and reasonably priced. Two night stay for Spain international football match.
Handy for Granada FC stadium. 40 mins walk from city centre, but on a bus route. Plenty of roadside free parking, own bar/restaurant, and two others next to hotel.

The hotel was located about a 40 minute walk from the centre of town. It was on a bus route but you needed to take two buses to get into town. Otherwise a very good ibis hotel. There were a couple of restaurants nearby but they were closed for the Spanish Christmas holiday on 6th January which left the area a little quite.

A good place to stay to explore Granada on a budge

This is a nice hotel with friendly English speaking staff. It is right beside the motorway but we didn't hear it at all in the hotel, very well soundproofed. The neighbourhood is a business area with a big Carrefour. Not attractive.

It took us only 20 minutes to walk into the centre of Granada which is probably quicker than driving and finding somewhere to park. There are regular buses (which we cannot use because we have a dog).

There is a limited menu in the restaurant but the food was good and there are other places nearby.

There is a swimming pool and terrace area, but this pool is closed in the Autumn/winter.

We would recommend this hotel for anyone looking to explore Granada.

A lovely clean comfortable hotel

A good location to visit the Alhambra and City centre , approx good 30 minute walk or a regular bus service on the main road . Staff really helpful. A great big plus at this hotel is the pool and sun loungers on the roof terrace , bliss after walking around all day . The food in the restaurant was great , good value for money and staff pleasant and helpful . Thank you . We tried to stop an extra night but it was fully booked

This hotel was cleand and comfortable. It was not close to the city center but a bus nearby takes you there. The room was a bit small but enough for a couple. The rooftop pool was a nice way to relax. The neighborhood was a mix of apartments and office buildings but great for street parking.

For the price this hotel was perfect for us. We stayed in room 31 and we had a king size bed with one twin for our daughter. This did not leave any extra room for our suitcases but we traveled light. The shower was small but there was hot water and temperature control in the room. There was some noise in the hallway. Parking was very convenient - street parking was just fine but you can also pay 5 euros for the garage attached to the hotel. If you go to the center of Granada it will cost about 16 euros per day and this was affordable because of the hotel's price. The Alhambra, Albaycin and the cathedral are all within walking distance from the central parking. Wear comfortable shoes. We also booked last minute tickets through the hotel for a flamenco show at Zoraya gardens (20 Euros pp - includes 1 drink and 1 tapas, dinner is 40 euros) in the Albaycin. For the convenience to enjoy Granada this hotel was great. A car makes it even better but there are buses also and it is a short ride to the center of town. Most people walk to their destination from there. The only disadvantage is that the pool was not open. We stayed there the first week of May and the hotel indicated that the pool will be open on the first of May. Since there was a lot to do in Granada I am not sure if we would have used it. From here we took day trips to visit Cordoba, and Seville. We took a guided tour of the Alhambra and it was well worth it - be sure to reserve tickets early.

Not downtown, but not too far

Our hotel was a nice walk, although it did take us about 40 minutes to get into the center of Granada. A taxi ride was 6 €. The hotel was clean and comfortable, and the staff were multilingual and very helpful. We would have liked to have been a little closer to the action of Granada, but the hotel was inexpensive and the neighborhood was lovely and safe. No complaints!

Me hospedei em outubro de 2024. O quarto é bem compacto comparando com alguns Ibis que já me hospedei, banheiro é pequeno e apertado. No quarto tem somente o básico, SEM nada de extra (frigobar, Armarios, cafeteira, secador de cabelos, cofre ou demais itens), possui somente secador de cabelo. Os colchões são de má qualidade e a roupa de cama básicas mas aceitáveis. Toalhas de banho razoáveis. O travesseiro é muuuuito ruim. O chuveiro do andar que ficamos (primeiro) não tinha muita pressão, e fica dentro de um box não muito grande. O café da manhã é satisfatório, nada excepcional, mas tem uma boa variedade e bem servido (melhor ir mais cedo, pois não repõem de tudo durante o tempo de serviço). Wi-Fi de boa qualidade. Perto desse hotel tem um Carrefour, da para ir a pé. O hotel fica localizado bem longe de tudo, na divisa com a cidade vizinha, se prepare para andar muito ou usar o serviço de táxi para chegar aos locais. Tem ponto de ônibus próximo, mas não passam muitas linhas neste ponto.

- Room was not really clean, we found even hair in bed and shower.

- Some of the employees are rude and annoyed if you ask questions.

- The pool is closed already for months and it is not stated in the description

- the area of hotel is pretty questionable, I would not recommend to park outside

Kulturreise - Tipps für Alhambra Besucher

Wir sind spontan eine Nacht früher angereist und konnten ohne Probleme bereits eine Nacht früher das Zimmer beziehen.

Die Lage ist etwas abseits, aber es gibt zwei verschiedene Möglichkeiten in das Stadtzenrum und zur Alhambra zu gelangen. Der Bus Nr. 5 fährt direkt vor dem Einkaufszentrum Carrefour los, aber ist weiter entfernt von der Innenstadt. Um an die Alhambra zu gelangen, muss man ca 20 Minuten durch die Stadt laufen um den kleinen roten Bus Nr. 32 oder 30 zu erreichen. Später haben wir festgestellt, dass der Bus (Bus Nr. 21), der etwas weiter von der Unterkunft entfernt ist (ca 10 Minuten am großen Kreisverkehr) dann aber direkt zur Kathedrale fährt und damit der direkte Anschluss zur Alhambra erreichbar ist.
Wer kein Zeitdruck hat, kann auch gut zu Fuß von der Innenstadt zur Alhambra laufen, da gibt es verschiedene Möglichkeiten.

Der Bus kostet immer 1,80€, egal wie weit man fährt.
Sehr schön ist auch, wenn man auf den anderen Hügel mit Sicht auf die Alhambra hoch läuft. Sehr schöne Restaurants mit Blick auf die Alhambra (Viertel Albaicín)

Visite de l'Alhambra en famille

Cette nuit à l'hôtel IBIS de Grenade s'est très bien passé. Nous avions réservé 2 chambres familiales communicantes : parfait pour le confort de la literie, l'espace, la propreté, la salle de bains... Un seul bémol : une des deux chambres avait encore une (légère) odeur de fumée de cigarettes, alors que nous avions demandé deux chambres non-fumeurs. Cela étant dit, l'hôtel IBIS de Grenade est un excellent choix pour une étape d'une nuit en famille.

Ficar num Ibis, significa saber o que vai se encontrar no mundo todo.

Quarto de tamanho Ok e funcional. Talvez merecesse um pouco mais de luz artificial e um armário pouco maior. O pequeno existente, deve atender 95% dos hóspedes

Banheiro suficiente, com Box de acrílico curvo bem vedado.

Café da manhã completo. Vi algumas pessoas sem máscara em tempos pandêmicos.

Essa unidade tem um pátio interno bem agradável e também uma piscina - coisa rara.

A localização é tranquila para todos os pontos, mas não tão próxima a pé.

Nocleg na jedną noc jak najbardziej Ok, pokój malutki ale czysto, śniadanie dobre, ogólnie niema się do czego przyczepić. Dobra kawa.

Me gustó mucho la atención hacia nosotras y hacia nuestro perrito. No solo es que acepten mascotas, sino que tienen muy buen trato con ellos (además, tienen bolsitas y hasta galletitas de premio). No está en el centro de Granada pero sí muy cerca, por lo que es fácil aparcar y tiene muchos supermercados alrededor. Tienes también la opción de aparcamiento por 6€ el día y puedes pedirlo en cualquier momento, aunque suele haber sitio fuera. Puedes hablar con el personal y cuadrar la limpieza de la habitación mientras paseas a tu mascota.
El desayuno fue de menos a más (el primer día solo tenían manzanas como fruta, pero después ya fueron haciendo mejor el bufé con más variedad en todo).

Plusieurs nuits ici en famille.
Accueil sympa. Ils parlent français.
Chambre un peu plus petites que d’ordinaire chez ibis. L’hôtel n’a-t-il pas été transformé en ibis? Service de ménage parfait. Petit déjeuner à 7 eur/ pers très correcte. Parking en sous sol disponible à 6eur/jour mais il y a des places dans la rue.
Piscine pas très grande et profondeur de 1.30 à 2.00.
En cette période Covid le nombre de personne y est limite et il faut s’inscrire à l’accueil au préalable. Grande surface + Macdonald + Burger King à proximité.
Alhambra a 15 min en voiture
