The room was very clean and the place is well located. Staff was somewhat nice. I’ll expound. The staff was polite to me no issues but I purchased a room for guests and they were from Colombia (native). The guests told me they felt the staff didn’t treat them the same as they would be or other guests that were obviously not from there. That kind of feeling came after watching other guests receive patient treatment and small accommodations, they did not get the same patience or cooperation. I hope the staff addresses that because regardless where people are from, a paying customer is still a paying customer and frankly, guests of a paying customer should be treated the same, if not better, than the paying customer.

Room was very clean, faucet handle for the bathroom sink came loose but was only a small inconvenience. The shower door would stay ajar so I had to hold it closed as to not get water everywhere. Was annoying but I made it work. Breakfast was good and refreshing. Staff was very helpful and informative. Location was great. Easy access to Getsemaní and only a 10 minute walk to the clock tower. Also the street the B&B is on made it easy to call an uber or be dropped off however I only really used uber the first night. Overall, I would stay again. King suite was spacious and the window view, both day and night, was breathtaking. Would definitely recommend to others if they want an easily accessible hotel that is in the heart of Getsemaní. Also, the AC hitting you as you stepped foot into your room was worth the cost ten times over.

Well located hotel with comfortable rooms. However their breakfast area is very small for the amount t of rooms they have, so, if you come at the peak of the morning prepare yourself to wait standing up for quite some time.

Great location within walking distance to key points in the city and nightlife. Be aware hotel does not accommodate extra persons if not done during booking. Clean facilities. They offer breakfast for a few however central to many amazing restaurants. Cute balcony

Great Hotel Near the Walled City in Cartagena!

I traveled to Cartagena with my family and wanted to stay close to the Walled City. The location is only a few steps away to the walled city restaurants, shops, artisans, places of interest, and a beautiful exceptional view from our room window. The staff is very friendly, the place is impeccably clean, the room is a good size, the beds are comfortable, the bathrooms are beautiful, the room has a small fridge very convenient, and room service is bringing in new towels every day. It was a great experience. The only thing that I would recommend is if you can't sleep with noise, know that around the wall city and its surroundings there's always party buses going by and bars going on until late. If you have a good attitude and don't mind, just make it part of your trip experience. :)

After initially being offered the room below the stairs and with no windows, it took a bit of time to sort out and get the room with the windows
The service after that was good and breakfast as well
As I had very little good experience with the staying in Cartagena, must congratulate the first hotel that we stayed as amazing and the breakfast, the staff etc, San Lazaro , the rest I would not choose again

Hotel Santa Cecilia was perfect for my time in Cartagena. It's a very easy walk to the walled city and just a block or two from the charms of Getsemani. I was glad to have this quiet hotel to come \"home\" to. The staff was excellent and my room was clean and comfortable. The air conditioning was great! I would definitely stay here again

Complimentary breakfast included was delicious and filling. The entire staff was friendly and so very accommodating. Beautiful views of the bay and walking distance to some great restaurants and shops. Walking distance to the clock tower entrance to the old city. Water pressure and temperature were my only “complaints” but I like my water hotter than most. This was a great place to stay and I do highly recommend it.

The hotel is actually on the second floor behind the doors, so the initial steps after the long day were not a welcome sight. Check in was smooth, but the internet was not working in our room, which apparently is ok. Had to spend time convincing staff to fix the issue, so they connected us to the admin network. Breakfast had options, the food was just ok.
Booked the location thinking there would be a nice waterfront, which unfortunately is a marina, but the area is walkable and feels safe.

Very bad experience in this hotel. They do not allow any guests in the room at all and will have security prevent them even if they offer to register to the room. This is the only place I have been around the world that will not even let someone register and pay. Ridicuous policy, i had to go to pay for another hotel in a different part of the city.

Very good hotel. Excellent hot showers , beds , AC , everything is very good. Free breakfast is ok too. Strict 3.00 pm check in policy , and no guests allowed . You have to register a guest per reservation. Location is ok. Very good for the price.

Highly recommend this hotel. Comfortable and spacious room (we had an interior facing Junior Suite). I was initially disappointed with the interior facing room but with the amount of street noise and lively discos, it was the best option. The staff were friendly, accommodating and welcoming. Delicious breakfast with nice options. We prefer staying in vibrant Getsamani as it is an easy walk to Cartagena. Can’t wait to come back!!

This was a great hotel, they have security at night, we felt very safe. Hotel staff were very friendly and willing to help in any way. Omar from front desk was the best thing, was full of information and the breakfast sever was such a sweet lady. Also, the breakfast is actually very decent. We had issues with the toilet not flushing and it was fixed right away. Location is topnotch, nice restaurants around and center is only ten minutes walk. The only thing this place is missing is a Pool and please have invest on \"do not disturb sign\". Thanks again to all the staff for all the smiles!

Wonderful stay!

I am so glad I stayed at this hotel! It was perfectly located, there was someone at the front desk 24/7, and the room and bed were very comfortable. The shower had strong hot water and the free breakfast each morning was delightful. Very friendly staff, too!

Great Location! We did 3 tours and the meeting point was no more than 10 minutes away (walking) every time. I do recommend bringing ear plugs and this is for ANY WHERE in Cartagena. They have a lot of party buses and no matter where you stay you'll hear them and the street noise. We were lucky and got an interior room BUT we could still hear the buses. Also, just be conscious of the mini bar charges. We took 1 Red Bull and at checkout they wanted to charge us for 2, we had to fight it but in the end we had to only pay for one but when we did they claimed to have \"no change\" and wanted to pocket 20 pesos. Instead we went outside bought a coffee, got change and gave them the exact amount. Also, I don't recommend having them \"call\" a driver for the airport. Their driver charges about 60-70 pesos while a taxi charged us 20 pesos. Their breakfast was really good too. Would stay here again, the room was very clean and modern.

Great location as it's walking distance to shops, bars, restaurants, clubs. Water views right from you room (depending on which room you get) I booked two beds but they kept giving me a room with one bed even after notifying them. Everything else was great, breakfast was superb, you order from a menu as opposed to buffet style. Staff is nice and friendly. Rooms were clean and attractive. Only downside was there's no pool.

The hotel is pretty shoddy and it’s workmanship is poor. The deadbolt in the door doesn’t work it just continues to spin and spin and spin. The door handle and latch itself you can see that the door was missed drilled before so they just try to put as big of a door latch as possible but it doesn’t cover the hole for the door. There is no toilet paper holder in the bathroom. There is no hot water in the shower. The Wi-Fi cut out for one day out of my three day stay.

The room does have a balcony which is very nice but you can clearly and very audibly hear the highly trafficked road outside of the bedroom 24 hours of the day, I never knew people in Cartagena honk that often but you can hear throughout the night and the day.

I can see places where they patched a lot of damage in the bathroom where the shower head connects to the wall, where the door frame connects to the wall of the hotel room. The ethernet connections in the wall are hanging off along with the sockets in some parts. There is dings to the drywall that are sunken in.

They are also pretty cheap as they turn off a lot of the hallway lights leading to your room during the evening when you need the lights. Their remotes show Disney Netflix and the like but when you click on it nothing happens. They have these very interesting hanging light fixtures that hang down from the ceiling. Which is very cool although one does hang 3/4 over your head in the bed so you’ll hit it pretty often when you get up.

This property is great if you have business at the Convention Centre or the Municipality Council and surrounding areas. The colonial city is about 10 minutes walking.

About the staff, they are supportive with the requirements.

This hotel is NOT for passing a time or going to the beach.

Atendimento excelente, todos muito educados e atenciosos. O quarto que ficamos foi o 502, muito espaçoso. Apesar da rua ser super movimentada, o tratamento acústico do quarto atendeu super bem, vedou 100% dos barulhos externos. Pra quem for sair do aeroporto ou embarcar e não quiser contratar translado, o aplicativo do Uber funciona super bem.

El hotel está en una zona de muchos bares / discotecas - hay mucho ruido por las calles y carros que pitan en la noche. La limpieza es impecable y está cerca al centro de convenciones y Getseman - a la entrada ciudad amurallada unos10 min a pie. Internet Ok, baño ok (agua caliente). Lo curioso, es que es un B&B donde el desayuno, en nuestro caso NO ESTABA INCLUIDO (?), el precio del desayuno (COP$50.000, USD$ 14 por persona) mejor ir a restaurantes cercanos (a mitad de precio).

A estadia foi incrível. Fomos muito bem recebidos por todos os funcionários, em especial a Dirce e o Francisco. A limpeza do quarto estava impecável. Uma das grandes reclamações dos brasileiros era quanto a água quente no chuveiro, e não tivemos problemas quanto a isso. Havia água quente no chuveiro e na torneira. Quanto a localização, não tinha como ser melhor. É próximo de diversos restaurantes e do centro. Próximo a torre do relógio e do porto (os locais que saem todos os passeios) não utilizamos táxi em nenhum momento.

Amamos tudo. A localização era em um bairro com muito movimento à noite, com muitas opções de restaurantes e também muito perto do centro histórico. A equipe do hotel foi sempre muito educada conosco, disponível para ajudar e o café era uma delícia! Você escolhe suas opções de um menu, mas é um café muito completo, com frutas, suco, ovos, pães etc., não faltava nada pra uma refeição completa e gostosa.
O quarto era muito espaço, super limpo, com ar-condicionado, cama super confortável, e um banheiro muito completo também, com chuveiro com uma ducha potente e água quente.
Acertamos muito na escolha dele pra viagem.
