Kind, courteous staff. Only stayed here one night when arriving in Cartagena before heading to the islands. Wish we had come back here for the second part of our trip in Cartagena. Convenient location to lively nightlife, restaurants, etc yet no right on the corner and rooms are away from the street so they are *quiet* at night.

This is a charming place to stay in the heart of one of the liveliest areas of Cartagena, getsemimi . The staff are super friendly and generous , but with limited English. The room is attractive and appears to have been recently renovated, with everything in excellent condition, the cooked breakfast was great, and the whole experience outstanding value. You walk out the low wooden door into vibrant colourful noisy activity in the narrow streets, and return to quiet and comfortable environment once it’s time for bed

Sweet small property with kind staff. I left an item and they called me. This would be perfect boutique hote if it wasn't on the BUSIEST LOUDEST street in the neighborhood. If you don't want to party until 2am. Wednesday through Sunday, you may need a different place to sleep.the bass comes through the walls and ear plugs. But we're 50, and maybe we are too old cuz it was too loud.

Absolute an awesome place to stay ! in the middle of the best walking street to party in Getsemani.
Either you are 20 or you are in your sixties as I am, it was a great place.
Remember you are in LatinAmerica; this is not a Sheraton type of hotel.
You anglo saxon americans loosen up! and enjoy a colonial latin hotel. The ladies running the place were polite and super friendly; and the breakfast was always good every morning.
I will be back !!!

The property overall is great, the staff are friendly, kind, warm-hearted. I lived in the first floor single room, just next to the staff's room. The AC looks a little bit old but works surprisingly very strong. The area is full of bars and the nightlife there is amazing... I highly recommand it.

This is a hidden gem inside Getsemani! I felt welcomed, safe, and the wifi connection was strong enough for me to do a little work. The staff is so kind and welcoming, and eager to answer any questions you might have. The location is perfect, you are literally two steps away from the best bar in Getsemani (ask for Edwin or Luis, they will take care of you!) there is a shop to get your basic groceries just around the corner, its maybe a 10 min walk to the Clock Tower, maybe a 15 min walk to the Castillo but you’ll never want to leave Getsemani. I would recommend this place, and I plan to stay here when I return.

Meals were individually made and they even did your laundry for a very small fee. Posada was in a central location in Gethsemane and made everywhere an easy walk. I would return

Me and my girlfriend stayed at this hotel for 3 weeks. We loved it very much. Nothing could have been any better.
The staff and management went above and beyond my expectations out of a hotel. It was hard for us to leave. I would definitely recommend this hotel for it's outstanding service and rewarding experience for us!

Nice, clean small hotel in good walking distance from all the sights. It is located on a very busy party street but once you enter the hotel, all the noise goes away. Very modern, clean bathroom and comfortable beds. There are some outdoor spaces to sit as well. I wish the room had a bigger window that opens. You have to use AC- otherwise it becomes stuffy. Nice bedsheets and towels. Good breakfast was included.

Loved this hotel. The location is 5 star! Gorgeous, lively street. Amongst the locals. Around the corner from the famous Plaza Trinidad. Safe, friendly. Yolanda the hostess is amazing. Excellent WiFi for working remotely. Yummy breakfast included. Cute open sky courtyard areas make it feel more like a home than a hotel. Pool is a little dipping pool but cute! Would stay again!

I loved, loved, loved this place. Yolanda is awesome and so helpful as are the owners.

This hotel is great in so many ways, upon entering you cut out all the noise coming from the street. I am so glad I choose this location because this neighborhood still feels like an authentic living area, families are out playing, music is going, tables of card games and checkers being played. Little stores and great restaurants just minutes away. Get a coffee or a mojito and you can spend hours, ( or at least I could ) people watching and soaking up the local vibe. I found the area around the center just a bit too much of a tourist trap with non-stop vendors trying to sell you stuff. But not in this area, although only about a 15 minute walk it is a different world, so much more of a lived in community

. The hotel- my room was the perfect size for. one person, turbo hot water and a fan & AC that kept the room at perfect chill temp to sleep. You have 3-4 options for breakfast, there is a little courtyard where you can sit or go to the pool up top. I am hyper sensitive to noise at night and this was the perfect spot for me. Room was kept very clean and the hotel itself is immaculate and well maintained and following Covid protocol. Also the security for the hotel is very good, lockbox in the room, and Yolanda keeps a tight eye on things so it felt very safe as does the neighborhood in general.

PLF was nice and quiet and conveniently located in Getsemaní. They only have 6 rooms, so there are never too many people around. The rooftop is a nice place to relax as well.

Posada La Fe was in the perfect neighborhood without the noise! Plenty of great sites and food around. Elsie was great and so kind in helping us out with everything. Even with the language barrier (she doesn't speak English and my Spanish is very poor), we were able to communicate. I would definitely stay here again!

Adorable place right where you want to be

I loved Posada La Fe! It was very adorable, clean, and very airy. Plants and potted flowers seemed to be everywhere, and the bowl of fruits around were very inviting. The women (Elsy, and the other was Dina?) taking care of the place were sweet, treating you as a respected guest, and also gave you space. They were accommodating and very helpful when you asked. As a solo female traveler, I felt very safe staying in the area. While the social atmosphere of a hostel is nice, I'm getting to the age where I'd like to be able to sleep at night and have a (clean) room to myself. The room I stayed in was just the right size for me (I don't need much space). It came with a single bed, a flat screen, fridge, closet, and a safe. Breakfast was served family-style, with your eggs cooked to order. It also came with a side of eggs, bread, fruit, juice and coffee, and maybe some starch or a slice of vegetable. Tasty and filling. Elsy and the other housekeeper spoke only Spanish, so some knowledge of the language is helpful (that, or easy access to Google Translate). I loved that Getsemani has a good mix of local and travellers. It felt very authentic and not tourist-trap-y. Vibrant area close to the Trinidad Plaza where the locals put on performances, and all the delicious smelling street food are sold. I hope to return, and I'd stay at Posada La Fe again!

Clean, Comfortable, and Safe

Great little bed and breakfast type place. Clean, comfortable, relatively quiet, and quaint. Consists of two rooms small dining area and prep kitchen on first floor and two rooms, two rooms on second floor, one room and sitting area on third floor, and small 18" deep wading pool on fourth floor. Room had a very comfortable queen sized bed, two sitting chairs and table, a/c unit, fan, small refridgerator, flat screen tv, cable, and small safe. Bathroon clean and modern with large walk in glass shower enclosure. Toiletries were supplied except lotion. Shower had good water pressure and hot water. Breakfast included two eggs, piece of sausage or ham slice, slice of cheese, avocado or tomatoe, bread, bowl of fresh fruit, freshly squeezed local juice and coffee. The two ladies were quiet and nice - spanish speaking only. Wifi is provided. Yes there is 21,000 pesos charge upon arrival, local currency, and credit card not accepted. Very convenient to walk to the city wall. Located in a residential neighborhood, (the neighbors are families) spanish school/dance school next door, appears to be a club across the street but did not notice when and if open. Great little compound for a bunch of friends or a family (only 5 rooms). I would stay again.

In was very clean in a residential area in Getsemani. Across the callejon is a club that hosted a party on our first night. The music was quite loud on the street and front of the inn, but quieter in the room. We fell asleep easily and don't even know when the party ended. Rooms are arranged around a central courtyard, 4 in the back of the building, on 2 floors, with a fifth room on 2nd floor in the front of the building. Rooms were bright and clean with comfortable mattresses. AC was cool and quiet. Showers were clean with good hot water and flow. Cable TV included HBO and some English channels. In room wifi was a bit spotty, but there was a free computer/ business center on the second floor. Breakfast was plentiful, including fresh fruit and juice, coffee, eggs, bread, meat and cheese. Overall it was more than I expected.

Property is wonderfully located in the trendy Gatsemani, short 10 min walk from the old, walled city. It’s fully renovated, impeccably clean and with comfortable beds. Pool at the top is small but good enough to cool during the scorching hot midday. There are two other terraces where you can enjoy city views. Staff is amazing and cooks delicious breakfast- make sure to add it! I traveled with my autistic daughter and they did everything possible to accommodate all our extra needs.

Love, love, love this place! I didn’t want to leave! It felt like a home from home. The staff were very friendly and Accomadating! The rooms were clean. The building was quiet unless there was a party going outside.The homemade made to order Columbian breakfast was a real highlight! The neighborhood was safe and in the heart of everything! I would highly recommend Posada La Fe to anyone! And I would stay here again!

Location on an alley that teems with diverse life this posada is staffed by angels. The rooms are not late but the common areas make up for it. Excellent breakfast. The pool is for cooling off only. The roof view is fun. Near everything.

Fine stay, pricy but it's Cartagena

No air conditioning in the dining area so you might get sweaty during breakfast. Breakfast was fine; they kindly made vegan foods for me. Everyone was friendly. Room was comfortable. The only issue was noise: there was a club nearby, I think, that was blasting music the first night I was there, a weekend night. It was better on the weekdays. Fortunately earplugs helped. Good location; you can get everywhere you need by foot.

Beautiful hotel. I only stayed one night and I was sick the whole day unfortunately, but thankfully for me the bed was very comfortable, room smelled great, provided shampoo AND conditioner, and cold AC. WiFI very good; Safe; beautiful decor; friendly staff; quick and cheap to the airport. The pool is tiny so a refresher only but its all you need and quite nice up top on the roof and has chairs, loungers and tables to chill at. I wish I had stayed here longer instead of four nights in the walled city (really really touristy part). I would definitely stay here if I went back.

The hotel. Is ok. No reception, they don't replace soap, bathroom was clogged, smelly and breakfast was very basic. She also charged us taxes when we paid hotels.xom full amount. No where else we were charged anything extra. EVEN THE LOCATION IS NOT NICE. VERY NOISY AND DIRTY NEIGHBOURHOOD.

The hotel was lovely, we arranged a pick up from the airport and glad we did as the hotel is hidden away and I think we may have struggled on our own. There is no front desk here so make sure you let them know expected arrival time so they are ready for you. Lovely, friendly staff. Everything is within walking distance from the hotel so location was excellent.

Location perfect and good service

Great location, simple but attentive. Good service and nice place. Really glad I chose this place. Details: there is no name outside on the building,but just initials “plf” so pay attention to the address. An incredibly short walk to the main areas of getsemani and not a far walk from the old walled city. Was able to go back and forth throughout the day and walking distance to san Felipe castle. The roof top pool is small and shallow but very nice to chill out in the late afternoon and with only six room or so at the property it’s not like it’s too crowded would absolutely stay again. Don’t expect chain hotel style but that is the charm of this place. Definitely recommend going to the sister property in the walled city to enjoy a drink at their rooftop.
