We had a wonderful stay at this hotel from the very beginning. Miguel was extremely friendly, welcoming, and helpful, always offering great recommendations. We also used the travel agency next to the hotel, which was very trustworthy and convenient.
Our room was clean, spacious, and comfortable, with a very nice and cozy bed. The bathroom was a bit small, but it had everything we needed.
Breakfast was delicious and full of flavor, and Erika was also fantastic—she made sure our room was stocked daily with fresh towels, shampoo, hand cream, and other essentials.
The location is perfect—everything is within walking distance. During our 8-day stay, we never needed a taxi. We felt very safe in the beautiful neighborhood at all times.
The patio, pool, and overall hotel design are full of character with beautiful décor. We would love to stay here again and highly recommend it.

Location is great doesn't look like much during day but at night the streets around the hotel are filled with bars and restaurants. About a ten minute walk to the Clock Tower. Lots of dining options. Breakfast was lovely in the courtyard. There is no elevator. Our room was huge but the bathroom very small.

Great Location and Great Staff!

This is a great hotel, perfect location as it is close to the action in Getsemani, but far enough to be quiet. The staff is excellent and the breakfast is awesome. We stayed there twice, they held our luggage while we went to Rosario for a couple of days. Would definitely recommend. Felt safe in the area at all times.

Hotel lies about rooms and over charges.

booked and paid more for a room with a balcony. Got in my room, no balcony. Complained and was told that no balconies existed in the hotel, only windows. Showed the reception a picture of a room with a balcony and he changed his story to \"there are only 2 rooms with a balcony and they are occupied\" I said but I paid for one, it is my room. He just repeated occupied and turned away. Basically ripped off for $25 extra a night.

The rooms were pretty clean. However, I took the sheet off of the bed and found the mattress cover to have stains on it as well as the pillows under the cases. Those should be washed regularly as well. The staff were pretty good, although only one staff member that I ran into, during my 5 night stay, spoke English; which is fine (I can and did use Google translate as my Spanish is fairly basic), they just didn't seem to want to interact with me due to the language barrier. If you dont speak Spanish or speak minimal, have Google translate handy. The location cannot be beat as it is very walkable and there are many great restaurants in the area. I am travelling solo and never felt unsafe anywhere I walked in this area. Breakfast was included and was good each time; a second coffee would be fantastic! All in all, a really great little boutique hotel.

Nuestra habitación con balcon hacia la calle tenia un olor super fuerte a humedad, adicional a esto la llave del lavamanos estaba despegada como a punto de caerse. El hotel solo tiene una piscina funcionando lo cual nos decepcionó mucho.
Loa chicos del transporte y del restaurante bien. Pero la chica de recepción no tenia la mejor actitud. Falto muchísima cordialidad. Creo q pudimos haber encontrado una opción mejor por el precio que pagamos.

The hotel is in a quieter part of Getsemani which was nice. We didn’t have to hear all the late night noise. The staff was super friendly and breakfast was made to order. The room was pretty bare and not the most comfortable given how beautiful the interior of the hotel was but overall we enjoyed our stay.

Rude receptionist on arrival, condescending and impolite. When additional face clothes requested two hours into stay, everything was an inconvenience for him. During stay, bathroom ceiling collapsed and fell in. Had to move rooms. Room cleanliness was marginal at best. Room service and housekeeping was slow to respond. 3/10 stars at best. Would I stay again? No. We’ve stayed at other boutique hotels in Cartagena and they were amazing. This one needs some work.

This is a great property at its price point. It’s in a great and accessible location. I would use it again. However, be aware, no friends are allowed. I was attending a conference and tried hanging out with one of my colleagues using the hotel’s amenities and he was stopped from passing the lobby. That aspect was very intrusive I felt.

The location of the hotel was freat. The room was big and the bathroom as well. Pretty clean and bed was comfortable. AC was working pretty well.
The wifi didn't work at all or barely and the shower was cold. Took forever to have it a bit warm and still.. never hot.
There is construction right in front of the hotel so kind of noisy from 7am to 9-10pm when i was there

The hotel is very well maintained and nicely decorated. There are places to sit and chill on every floor, and the roof pool has a hydro-massage area (which, unfortunately the water jet is not very strong), and canapés where you can chill as well.
The breakfast was simple but very good.
All the personnel was very nice and attentive.
Only downside, and it's nothing the hotel can control, is there's a noisy construction beside, but only during the day. At night is very quiet, although is near one of the busiest streets at the Getsemani quartier.

Upon check in our air conditioning wasn’t working. Front desk promptly moved our room to an upgraded room. Room was clean and comfortable. The shower though was AMAZING!! Had great water pressure and hot water. I could have stayed in shower for hours. Breakfast was freshly made daily. Area was in great location, only issue is someone always trying to sell something. No fault of hotels, they were on every corner in city. I would definitely recommend.

But with a building site starting very next door, in my opinion best to avoid for a year at least.At 0600 hrs on a Sunday morning was awoken by a large number of trucks, taking away dirt 20 meters from my bedroom. Noise all day including pile driving. Its shame as hotel is othwise fine.

Internet and room misinformation

I always book this Hotel or their Sister hotel in Getsemani and always have a great experience but not this time . With checking in there was no internet and I was told there would be internet in an hour : not . Then another hour : not . I need internet for work and ask for another room in heir sister hotel . None available I was told . Checking this on Hotel.com on the internet in a restaurant close by there were rooms available. Confronting the front desk employee that she did not tell me the truth I talked to the manager and finally got offered a smaller standard room in their sister hotel ( which was odd because I was able to book a Superior room on Hotel.com At that time it was 2000 hr and I decided to stay . It was certainly not the service I expected and received before . Breakfast was very good . I consider this an incident and will come back .

I have paid for superior room for three nights and on our arrival we got the smallest room....
Nobody said anything.... of course that I complained but still wasn’t sure if we get better room the next day.
Finally we got it but we had to unpacked, packed again and again unpacked. It was to much.
