This is a great little hotel. It is in a good position, very close to the walled city and all that Getsemani has to offer. It is on a busy road but my room was very quiet. The hotel and rooms seem a little airless and stuffy.
The staff are friendly and professional and breakfast is standard but nicely presented.

The property was overall disappointing. Too expensive for the old somewhat run down condition of the hotel.
Breakfast was very basic, and options seemed to depend on whether the person working the front desk at the time felt like asking how you wanted eggs cooked, or preferences on fruit. One front desk person was very helpful, another seemed disgruntled.
Would not stay there again.
Seems like the readings were manipulated as the hotel's condition did not match expectations based on what the readings were.

It is a small, but has the home feeling. Staff is very courteous and helpful. It is very closed to many major landmarks, as well as food options. Room is big enough for a family of 3. Simple breakfast is included.

I was very pleased with my stay at this hotel. As a solo woman traveller, I felt very safe at all times. The room was clean and the air conditioning was great. The breakfast in the morning was a nice bonus. The hotel is located in an excellent area - just a few minutes walk to a major plaza with street food and vibrant atmosphere. The hotel was quiet and I slept well for the three nights I was there. The staff were really nice, too. I’d stay here again for sure.

Good location, a short walk to the old town. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was okay too. But to call it a 'boutique' is a stretch. The room could use some upkeeping and upgrading. It smelled musty. The shower door was flimsy and wouldn't fully close, which makes it a potential hazard. Overall it was an ok experience but would not return.

Photos do not represent the reality. First night I had to kill two cockroaches. Next day they change me to a room smelling mold. I rented a room for 7 days but I left after 3 days. First time in my life I left a hotel. Place is in very bad shape and I do not recommend

The property was small but nice. Staff was great, nice, and attentive. Breakfast was great. We were fed fruit, OJ, coffee, and eggs, ham sandwich, or something the like daily. Very safe as gates are kept locked at all times. Our only complaint was the loudness of other guesses.

Dont be confused by boutique in its name, there is nothing boutique about it. It has a good location, next to good restaurants and bars. The bed was very comfortable and it was clean. However the rooms have no outside windows so once has to use ac, the rooms has everything but is very basic and so is the breakfast. I was reminded to wear a mask and check out on time, I saw other guests without masks so I wonder why me. A solid 3 star hotel.

Friendly management and excellent location for exploring the city. The street is a bit noisy, but thankfully quieted down after 10ish. We tried the breakfast one day and then decided to just skip it as food in Colombia is so cheap that it is better to just seek out something more interesting and pay a little.

Cartagena Hotel Fegali Art Boutique review

This is an amazing place to stay at a great price. It is a cosy hotel so the rooms are not huge but they are big enough and the location is great. The road next to it can be noisy but if you are staying in the walled city the whole place is noisy so we did not find it a distraction when trying to sleep.
Each morning you get a simple home cooked breakfast which tastes fantastic. Always sets you up for the day - please pass on my thanks to the staff for this! The restaurants next to the hotel for food in the evening are also excellent.
I’d highly recommend this hotel.

The owners of Hotel Fegali made our stay comfortable. We had two large clean rooms with flat screen TVs and welcome candy on the beds! The location was great... In the middle of everything we wanted to see. When my son suddenly woke up with a sore throat, they quickly acted to give him water with salt, honey and lemon juice! We felt like we were staying in a home, not a hotel. We highly recommend this small hotel.

Comfortable place to stay in a great location, walking distance to all the sites in Cartagena. The area is very safe and plenty of good food and bars all around. My room was clean with good aircon and the breakfast was nice. The husband and wife who run the place are very gracious hosts.

Felt like home!

The accommodations at Hotel Fegali was very nice. The decor is vintage with many art pieces. We had a private room with a private bathroom that was clean. The AC worked well and we enjoyed complimentary breakfast in the morning. It was a great price and was exactly what we were looking for.

THE LOCATION WAS GREAT. OWNER DID HIS BEST TO HELP US. THE ROOMS ARE PRETTY SMALL, SMALL BATHROOM. OUR ROOM WAS EXTREAMLY NOISY FROM TRAFFIC. THERE WAS ONLY ONE OUTLET IN OUR ROOM, WHICH IS FOR TV, SO IF WE NEEDED TO CHARGE OUR PHONE, WE HAD TO DISCCONNECT THE TV.
BREAKFAST WAS VERY SIMPLE. YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR.

Friendly hosts, clean rooms, great location, delicious breakfast. However, there was construction going on at the rear of the building that started very early in the morning and continued through the day. I wish the hosts would have moved me to room towards the front off the building after my complaint.

Also want to point out that you will have to ring the doorbell (late at night) for the hosts to open the front entrance gate. Felt strange.

Warm and welcoming staff in a great area

the staff were so warm and welcoming, offering local area suggestions, and a solid breakfast that changed daily. The location turned out to be better than expected, just a 5 min walk to the old town walls, and less than that from the Getsemani centre. The air conditioning and the shower were strong, so no complaints for the cost.

Charming Boutique Hotel

This place is absolutely charming so are the hosts, Jorge and Grace. Very considerate and very caring, recommended nearby eating places, recommended activities and they were all as described.. Excellent location just 5 minutes walk to the Old Town. I would recommend this boutique hotel to anyone.

I only had a chance to stay one night but had a very nice experience. The hosts are fantastic, very warm and welcoming and taking care of anything you need. I stored my luggage with them for several days, they received jewelry for me before I arrived. Absolutely trustworthy. Will definitely stay again if I have a chance

4.5 Overall.... Service and Cleanliness were excellent. Extremely friendly and attentive staff. Comfort and Condition were satisfactory. Minor shower floor issue (specific to one room) and lobby / kitchen were a bit warm to enjoy without sitting under a fan. Proximity to Local area was solid. Well within walking distance to most Old Town attractions. Cheap taxis also run just outside hotel 24hrs. Great restaurant around the corner (La Cocina de Pepina) not to be missed. Would stay again.

Está muy bien ubicad o el lugar pero la habitación que me tocó no fue la mejor. Mucha humedad, sin ventilación, la puerta del baño no cerraba. Habitación oscura (me tocó de las de abajo que dan al pasillo).
El personal es amable y hay alguien en recepción las 24 horas. Incluyó el desayuno.

Realmente NO ES un hotel boutique, es un hotel de una o dos estrellas, pequeño y antiguo, sin comodidades mínimas como una buena cama o amenities de baño, con habitaciones ruidosas y linos de mala calidad. Se rescata su ubicación privilegiada y la buena actitud del personal de servicio.

Preis Leistung stimmt nicht. Zu teuer für das was geboten wird. Die Fotos sind wohl etwas älter. Sauberkeit ungenügend. Hab auf dem Frühstückstisch mit der Serviette was weggewischt, die Serviette wurde schwarz. Hab’s dem Angestellten gezeigt. Am nächsten Morgen interessierte es mich ob geputzt wurde, die Serviette wurde wieder schwarz. War drei Nächte dort. Am ersten Tag Zimmer nicht gemacht. Am zweiten Tag wurde ich gefragt ob sie das Zimmer putzen sollen. Wo ist die Professionalität?

Solo que hubo un apagón de luz que duró de 7 am hasta la noche y el calor era agobiante!
Los chicos del hotel de los 2 turnos nos previeron abanicos de batería 🔋 y lámparas. Sería bueno que el hotel contara con una planta de luz porque el calor y la humedad son insoportables!
Pero de todo lo demás fue muy buena la experiencia 😄

Hotel precisa ser reformado e renovado

Pontos negativos: Ficamos hospedados num quarto sem janela, sem ventilação, bem em frente a Recepção ( mesmo o hotel estando vazio não nos deram um bom quarto), sem nenhuma privacidade e com muito barulho pela manhã e à noite também. Teve um hóspede que chegou quase 1 hora da manha com criança fazendo barulho e o som entrava direto no quarto.
Deixaram de limpar o quarto 1 dia ( ficamos 5 noites ). A limpeza não é das melhores - tivemos que pedir para melhorar o serviço, pois tinha areia e sujeira no quarto e no banheiro. As toalhas são velhas e precisam ser renovadas. E a roupa de cama também.
O café da manhã é ruim: só servem duas tostadas, ovo mexido, suco não é natural e açucarado, café com leite Nescafé, e repete a mesma coisa todos os dias. Pontos positivos: Localização do hotel é excelente e nos sentimos muito seguros, para quem quer segurança vale o local. Os funcionários são simpáticos e cordiais. Outro ponto a ser considerado: As dicas de turismo são fracas, de interesse para venda de tickets no hotel bem bem mais cara que em outros lugares.

Hotel é bem localizado, no coração de Getsêmani.
Os quartos single não têm boa estrutura. O meu em especial, não tinha janela, apenas um acesso para um pátio no fundo, que era local de despejo.
O hotel cheira a mofo.
O café da manhã é servido à la carte, e não tem muitas opções. Poderia ser melhor.
Meu quarto estava com o box entupido. As toalhas tinham aspecto encardido e sujo.
Tentei mudar de quarto, mas não me ofereceram a opção.

Ótima localização e boa vontade dos funcionarios

Não tenha dúvidas em ficar em Getsemani. O hotel fica na “Calle Larga”, a 500m da cidade murada e próximo dos bares e restaurantes de Getsemani, sem estar no meio do tumulto e barulho das ruas principais. Nós nos sentimos seguros em caminhar pelas ruas, com crianças, tanto de dia como de noite.
O hotel um prédio antigo e simples (como quase todos da região), mas as camas são confortáveis, o banheiro funciona bem, ar condicionado bom e entrega o que propõe no anúncio. Apenas o café da manhã é razoável. Jesus é um excelente atendente e está sempre disposto a ajudar. Ficaríamos de novo.

Llegamos casi a la media noche, pero nos estaban esperando. La persona que nos recibió nos dio buenas sugerencias para salir al siguiente día. El desayuno estuvo ok. Pero la atención y amablidad destacan. El hotel es pequeño pero esta en una excelente ubicación. El día siguiente teniamos un tour y el muelle la Bodeguita nos quedaba a 10 minutos caminando.

PONTOS NEGATIVOS:
- O chekin é as 15h independente se o quarto estiver desocupado e limpo. Nao fazem exceção.

- somente dois quartos tem janelas para a area externa. Os demais sao para o corredor interno de circulação.
