We were informed the day of check-in, after the hotel confirmed with us several times, that they were not able to accommodate us, and they switched us to a different hotel in a different part of town. They would not issue a refund, even though this was last minute and extremely inconvenient.

I had a wonderful 7-day stay at this hotel! The atmosphere was cozy and comfortable throughout our visit. Both the hotel and the room had a beautiful aesthetic that made the stay feel extra special. The only thing that they lacked is the fact that its a VIP accommodation but there are not VIP upgrades. I got there at 10am and the receptionist didn’t attend to my request saying the room wasn’t available. I checked the night before to see if i can book it and it was available. Therefore, my Expedia reservation and status wasn’t recognized by the hotel. Ismael, Gerson and Francisco the reception were very welcoming and helpful. The location is good if you want to walk around the city center.

We spent 4 days for my birthday at this wonderful boutique hotel. We were greeted by Kathleen and she was informative. Viviana at the front desk was very helpful and provided us great options to dine at and places to visit. The hotel is very quiet even with so much going on outside. The food vendors are in every street corner and you can’t go wrong. The hotel was clean and air conditioning was perfect to get out of the heat. I highly recommend staying here if you want to be close to every thing and a great place to reenergized after a long day of the hustle and bustle.

Our short stay at Santo Torino was delightful. It is centrally located but surprisingly quiet in spite of the bustling surroundings. It was refreshing to come out of the oppressive heat and into this cool refuge during the day in order to recharge. It somehow always seemed to be ‘just around the corner’. The concierge service was very welcome and the breakfasts were hearty without being heavy. This hotel really enhanced our Cartagena experience.

This little boutique hotel is in the center of the walled city. Viviana was the receptionist at the front desk. Truly exceptional staff. Extremely helpful, courteous and speak meticulous English ! Reasonable breakfast. Rooftop Jacuzzi. Everything in walking distance. Numerous restaurants snd shopping facilities.

I really liked this property’s location. It’s in a nice part of Cartagena—quaint, less crazy than other parts of the city. The hotel smells spectacular (aroma therapy scent). Aesthetically beautiful. The complementary breakfast was really good. Downside, walls/doors are not soundproof. You can hear people walking and talking outside your door. Overall, worth the money and would repeat my stay here in the future.

Phenomenal place to stay. Everyone was so polite and welcoming. Decor is stylish, AC is cold, shower was hot.. couldn’t ask for anything any better. Location is close to everything in old town. Like other guests mentioned- the pool is more decorative and the rooftop jacuzzi is chilly, but both would be great ways to cool off from Colombian heat if you wanted. The place is very intimate. Breakfast is prepared on order. We will return to this hotel.

Great location, lovely place, small boutique hotel… i was afraid about the stairs (no elevator) but they were not bad at all. Jacuzzi is not hot (but seems to be like that everywhere we went in Colombia lol) Great Customer Service! Front desk rep Katleen and breakfast server Leidy were amazing! So kind! Shower was so relaxing! Lot of hot water and the quality of shampoo, conditioner, body wash was so good! I wanted to bring some with me lol breakfast was fresh every morning! No music/club/bar on the rooftop so it lets you sleep :)

Katleen and Jason were very nice and professional hosts. They welcomed us to the hotel and made us feel like it was our home. I enjoyed the room, the hotel, the pool, the free breakfast and the staff in the dining room were so friendly and did a wonderful job making my morning start off very well. I got free bottle water daily and I love the location. We had probably the best location and proximity to everything in the walled city. We were right across from the park and many restaurants and shopping. I will definitely come back and refer my friends

Beautiful boutique hotel! There are only 7 rooms so we were lucky to book one close in! This little hotel was located in the perfect area within old Cartagena near many lovely little restaurants. The hotel itself is beautiful, very unique with all the amenities. The included breakfast was made to order and a perfect experience. Since this hotel only has 7 rooms its a wonderful intimate experience. They will also set up convenient airport transfers and assist with luggage etc. Everything was perfect for us! We would definitely stay here again when traveling to Cartagena.

This is a great option if you are looking for a convenient location as its walking distance to everything around the walled city. Service was great and property was clean well kept. There’s only a few rooms which makes it feel intimate and peaceful and they have delicious made to order breakfast. The only downsides are that the rooms are pretty small, and bathrooms are tiny. We had to close the bathroom door to be able to move around it. Also, the pool is also tiny so basically just for decoration. Not bad if you don’t plan to spend a lot of time in the hotel. Overall, great experience and very good service!

Great little botique hotel. The bed needed a headboard because of the beautiful exposed original walls, which did leave some concrete dust on the bed. It is also a very small hotel, so there is little sound privacy, especially if you are on the ground floor. The staff was excellent and I appreciated the security measures they took at night.

We had a great stay at this hotel for 1 night in the Old Walled City of Cartagena. As long as you know what you are getting yourself into, this is a great place to stay to experience the old city. Inside the walls, you should be prepared to be more or less constantly bombarded by people trying to sell you things. It did not necessarily feel unsafe, but probably best not to walk around too late. The hotel itself was clean and well-kept, and the staff were exceedingly polite, personable, and eager to help in any way requested. We dropped off our luggage one day early to tour and stay in the Rosario Islands, and they stored our luggage and had it waiting for us in our room when we checked in the next day.

Overall stay was great. Some light criticisms: the room was very small, but that's to be expected in the old city, where real estate comes at a premium. The pool is a little ridiculous though: It's about the size of a large dining table and located directly behind the front desk. It's really more of a courtyard decorational pool and not really for bathing. We didn't use it, nor saw anyone else in it, because it would just seem ridiculous to actually \"swim\" in it. It really should not be advertised as a property with a pool.

This was a Beaudoin beautiful boutique Hotel! It's very few rooms which is a plus. Incredibly walkable- so much surrounding this property in every direction. It's even within walking distance of Getsamani!
It also smelled Amazing in the room!

I think that Expedia VIP ACCESS is fake. I got the worst room in the property. It was like a cave. It has happened to me several times. I think the Expedia VIP ACCESS is a kind of marketing makeup: FALSE!!

I really did enjoy my stay. One of the girls at the front desk, I think her name was Leanys, she was very friendly and even assisted me in filling out my Migracion paperwork online that I needed to travel. The night manager was also very helpful and gave me safety tips before i went out into the streets. I have already booked my next stay in September.

This hotel has a great location inside the old walled city, you can walk everywhere. Lots of shopping and places to eat or drink close by.
Since we walk in we felt at my hometown, many good memories from this place and the staff.
The room nice and clean. You can enjoy a delicious included breakfast and also if you want they have additional menu for a fee.

The hotel was nice, the staff was nice but there was no hot water our entire stay. They blamed it on the fact that at night the machine turns off, but it is a hotel and that is unacceptable. The room was very nice though and despite this the staff was nice.

I enjoyed staying at Hôtel Boutique Santo. It’s a very clean hotel conveniently located. Nice restaurants and bars are walking distance. Despite the noise in the area, everything went smoothly, the staff did their best to accommodate us. They were polite and helpful. I wish I had more time to enjoy the rooftop and the Jacuzzi. I will definitely come back.

Great location - inside the old walled city but in the comparatively quiet San Diego neighborhood, friendly staff, good WiFi, AC in rooms, friendly staff, TVs in room had HDMI (ie, you can use your Roku dongle, etc.), good breakfast (in an AC'd room). Note: try to get a room at the back of the property (there's one room right by the reception desk/entrance). Not bad, but a little bit noisier until things settle down later in the evening.

I just have to say that since the moment I enter Santo Toribio I felt at home and welcome the Staff starting from Karen,Leanne, Andres and Ana and the rest of the staff, all super attentive. The property is well located in the center of everything beautiful pool and rooftop. My room was super Ana was great. I definitely will come back and I recommend Santo Toribio!!

This boutique hotel was very nice, clean and accommodating, from the date we arrived until we checked out.
All of the staff went out of their way to ensure that we had a great experience and they didn’t disappoint our large crowd of 10 that we’re celebrating a 60 th birthday. The staff went out of their way and purchased the birthday boy a birthday cake and sang happy birthday.
I highly recommend this hotel, it is centrally located to all the sites, restaurants beaches, cabs etc.
I would definitely come back and stay at this hotel.

The hotel is cute. The staff is not friendly and rarely smiles or engages. Our room was basically in the lobby and in front of the \"pool\" which is really the size of a fountain in the lobby. Our room was 6 feet from this pool that people swam in. We were unable to open our curtains or window because it was the lobby area. The room was small and the bathroom sink leaked the entire time. Housekeeping was average. The server for breakfast was very kind and helpful. The area is not the best. Our VIP access amenities were not offered or given to us.

The room and facility were very clean, with two (very) small pools, one upstairs on the roof and one down near lobby. Nice to have them with the heat to cool off a little. Lots of shopping and food close by. Very walkable, but cabs are also all around if needed. The included breakfast is good, coffee and juice, eggs cooked however you please, bread basket and fruit platter. There are additional items if you'd like for a fee. My only complaint was that my room was directly in front of the pool and it was cleaned around 7 am every morning and we could hear it. I wish he waited until after 8 :)

This hotel was the best, and so conveniently located within the Walled City! It is incredibly charming with excellent service, & a short walk to the less touristy & trafficked Getsamani. We loved the jacuzzi on the rooftop - just small enough for two, and hidden from the shade. The a/c is a godsend with the humidity. We would definitely stay here again & recommend it to all our friends!

Very nice boutique hotel in historic part of Cartagena. Very safe and convenient location. Amazing staff!!! Modest Colombian style breakfast but a lot of dining options around. Room is very clean and drinking water provided. Fresh exotic fruits in common area and in the room. Small pool and jacuzzi in the hotel. I would definitely recommend this hotel for visitors and will stay there next time I am in Cartagena.

The property was located in a terrific area inside the Walled City. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. There is a little noise form the outside mainly because the property is in close proximity to a park. Many people gathered in the park and I would hear music and laughter until about 1:00 am. The breakfast was delicious, but there were small amounts. The room was clean. The bathroom was well-designed. I enjoyed my stay, and will try to stay here again when I return to Cartegena.

Our stay at this property was wonderful! Kevin reached out to us before our arrival to confirm our arrival time and ensure our rooms were ready. He offered to arrange the covid testing we required for our return to Canada at the hotel to eliminate the need to travel to a clinic. This was unexpected and much appreciated as it allowed us more time to tour the city. The property is quite beautiful and is well situated for dining and touring in the Centro and Getsemani areas of the city. The personal attention we received from the staff was wonderful! I highly recommend this property!

The hotel is very central to The
Old Town, walking distance to main places. Very pretty hotel and very comfortable. The staff could have been more friendly and helpful as didn’t make us feel very welcome, they seemed to be doing a job they were not enjoying.

Breakfast was a ripped off. Do not order any extras without asking about the price before hand. Felt very disappointed by a charge of 24.000 pesos for a tiny ‘arepa’ which would usually cost 300 pesos, felt robbed. This happen very often in Cartagena so watch out and find out prices before hand!
