Plenty of space being a two-story townhouse. The bedrooms were comfy. You were close to everything and easy to get an Uber to get around. The only negative we went to make breakfast and there wasn’t enough dinning plates or sharp knives to cut anything. More glassware would be great.

The property was clean, roomy and well appointed. We had some difficulty getting the access code prior to arrival as the phone line was very busy. Management would be advised to ask the cleaning staff to speak quietly outside the units. Despite this I would definitely stay again. Great value for money.

When I arrived and checked in around 3pm the unit seemed as per the website and clean. After returning from our concert later that night, when going to bed, we noticed that the pillows and sheets in the main bedroom seem to be covered in what can only be described as black dog hair. There was allot of this. My daughter found two pillows in the wardrobe which seemed to be okay but we had to open the bedsheets and brush off all the dog hair. That was really disappointing when spending over $300 on accommodation for one night. Generally, the beds in both rooms seemed like they did not have fresh sheets on them and had been already used. My other daughter in the spare room said there were stains on her sheets.
I am not sure who cleans your rooms or if you have pets staying in them but it’s not the minimum standard of accommodation that a normal person would expect.

The property was pretty average. I’d say “worn” for the most part. Lighting was terrible throughout. Subtle smell of sewerage in the dining area. Noise from pub around the corner was noticeable. Digital stations on the TV didn’t work. But, beds were comfy and it was safe. I won’t stay here again because I just prefer a little more quality.

This is a property with some potential; however, it is let down by the limited access for parking. Having to manoeuvre back and forth several times to get a car in the provided garage was not the easiest and would make it less desirable for most mid-size cars. Cleanliness also left a little to be desired while provisions within were also limited in the kitchen. Even though pricing was attractive, booking-in process was rather cumbersome and not always as clear as one would like. Spaces in the unit are adequate but do make the term executive accommodation somewhat questionable. Special mention for the helpfulness of cleaning staff who helped us getting in upon arrival.

I recently stayed at this apartment for a few nights and found it to be just okay. The location is decent, but the apartment itself has a few issues. The cleanliness could be improved, and some of the amenities felt outdated. Additionally, the price fluctuates significantly depending on the day of the week, which felt unfair and unpredictable. Overall, it’s an adequate place if you’re in a pinch, but I wouldn’t go out of my way to stay here again.

Clean except for floors - looked like they'd been mopped to spread the dirt rather than mopped to clean, and when checking I hadn't left anything under the bed, I saw accumulated fluff & dust.
The tea towel was waterproof - wouldn't absorb any moisture, so useless to wipe dishes dry. (Typical of new tea towels that have never been washed)
Bathroom basin faucet leaking at base. Some pipe under kitchen sink leaking after pulling sink plug - leaking water into cupboard and out onto the floor.
Living room air-conditioner makes an annoying rattly noise. All minor issues that I'm mentioning so management is made aware to fix up. Otherwise, a good, comfortable place that was convenient for a few days stay, less than 10 minutes drive to the ice rink - perfect to attend an ice hockey tournament!

The front door rattled, it also had a big gap between the door jam and door, when closed it didn’t feel very secure.

The location was great close to shops and public transport. We had rodents in our unit, on 2 occasions we had housekeeping, or some random person just let themselves in to the unit without knocking or asking for permission to come in. Car parking is a hassle if you have a bigger car that you can fit into the garage. The freezer was unusable due to the horrendous smell that was in there. it ruined the food that we had placed in there on the first night. They have a fully equipped kitchen but there were no sharp knives, no chopping board, no tray for the oven, no microwave bowls. it looked like someone had taken to the freezer, ballast rail and bathroom bench with a knife. There were holes in the bottom of the freezer. The cleaners were friendly. appears they were doing some renovations to some units but don't appreciate being woken at 6:30 am by music being played so loud. I also didn't like having my booking changed to a different set of units on the same street because I chose this particular set of units because of parking, because I had stayed at the other address before and could not get the car in the garage and had to park on the street.

Not much parking on site, had to park in the car charging bay. Room had alot of thick long black hair on the floor and on the furniture (otherwise was clean). Shower leaked water all over the bathroom floor. Pretty noisey from the road.
Otherwise, pretty central to everything we needed, easy check in & good communication by staff the day before. Bedding was comfortable.

This property is very convenient when we go to Newcastle. The bed is very comfortable and the tv quite large. The lounge is ok but starting to show signs of wear both in comfort and appearance. Unfortunately the unit is starting to show its age a bit with cracked floor tiles, damaged blinds, marks on the walls and loose power points. I had to wait an extra 1.5 hrs to get into my room as several cleaners had called in sick but I must comment on how lovely the girls cleaning our room were and did their absolute utmost to get me in as quickly as possible.

Friendly but Poor communication and unorganised - called several times to obtain access pin and if room was ready but received conflicting information and room was not ready on arrival at 7pm.
Beds were made but in incorrect configuration and sofa was not pulled out.
No spare blankets or towels.
Floors were not mopped.
Shower screen was broken and unsafe and bathroom smelt mouldy.
Gas cooktop did not work and cooking pans were old and needed replacement.
Main room lamp had no globe.
Main TV didn't work.
Kitchen bin cupboard smelt of cigarettes.
Outdoor deck full of leaves and cobwebs and outdoor table and chairs were dirty.
Parking was extremely tight and not enough turning space to use garage.
Wittnessed other guests arriving with same issue of room not ready and unable to park car or turn around in driveway.
If these issues were rectified or communicated better it would have been nice place to stay.

Lovely big rooms and convenient to where we needed to be. But you need to pack own sheets and towels as these were stained. When we complained we were told that they would be changed. This didn’t happen. We also had dirty dishes in the sink. If the rooms had of been clean it would have been a great place to stay

Very disappointed in the organisation of this accomodation! The confirmation call with the office lady the day before arrival was completely and utterly rude, she was so blunt, rude and was very uninformative. Seemed like she had no idea what was going on or what to do.

Then arrived on the day we booked only to come across our accomodation already being used by another group of people. We sat in the car outside for nearly 2 hours with my starving screaming 6 month old on the phone to the same lady, who was once again rude and uninformative.

She then gave us a number to call who I believe was the “manager” who made my partner go up to this group of men and try to “talk” to them even though they were rude, angry and getting aggressive with him. This was an extremely unprofessional approach to the situation and no one had any idea as to what was going on. At one point there was 5 angry men surrounding my partner at the front door of the accomodation whilst the “manager” continued to ask my partner to sort the situation. They did proceeded to give us another place to stay for the weekend but the level of unprofessional and rudeness was absolutely outstanding! Will not be booking ever again! We were also told by locals that they have had similar issues with this accomodation and the people who “run” it. Very disappointing…

Good property for what we needed. Outside was pretty tidy but lots of small things that needed fixing inside or small considerations like a shelf in the shower. Air-conditioner filter needed cleaning in both apartments. We hired two separate apartments with one not allowing access to to garage as the panel was broken. Plenty of toilet paper, laundry detergent, dishwasher detergent, soap and shampoo and conditioner provided. Would have been good though if there was a broom left so we could have swept mid week as we went to the beach. We also found an old pocket p***y casing in the back garden?? So that might need checking...

Property entrance to garage is very narrow and small so cannot go through even mid size SUV. To park in the garage, you need to go front and back at least 20 or more times. Not enough space. Property not as good as photos. Cleaning has not done properly. You can see the dust all around the property including lounge area and bedrooms. Wifi internet was not working for whole stay. Kitchenette were not be able to use especially frypans and pots. Neighbours dogs were barking whole day and night. Non stop.

The apartment was clean, spacious and well catered for. Conveniently located opposite an RSL club and grocery shops are walking distance.
The apartments are located on a busy corner, so access is only from one way. Getting out was a challenge at times. All the visitors parking spaces were used which made it hard to get out of our parking space due to the narrow driveway. Not enough turning space. The garages are only for a small SUV or smaller. The 15 stairs up to our room with a heavy suitcase was not helpful either

The place was very clean and modern. Being an executive apartment suit, I would have expected an oven and a dishwasher. But, the price was right. There also was no icecube tray, but a small thing.

The balcony was spacious, but the furniture was extremely dusty. The main aircon was good, but the bedroom one was not functioning.

Lots of toiletries including makeup removal wipes, which I've not seem before. All their bathroom products were of designer quality.

I would stay here again. It's located 12min walk from. Cardiff station and less to supermarkets and services.

Nice work. Some attention to detail needed. But, as I said. The price was very reasonable.

Booked this place based on the images. On the day of arrival received a call from a guy who said due to maintenance we have to go somewhere else in “Jesmond executive villas” upon arrival there was a meth head sitting in the gutter. We were worried about staying there so we checked the reviews only to find so many people had provided an insight to what we were about to experience so we decided to go to the motorcross and then just drive home. There was no way we were going to stay in a junky filled complex with 4 young children. Wotif.com need to remove this listing from their website because scammers like this should be shut down.

My 5 year old son ended up with glass in his foot, from the floor, within minutes of arriving at the property and the walls were smeared with finger prints. Very dirty and not well maintained. We left early.

We booked for 4 nights and in the end left early as the accommodation is very dirty. there are piles of dirt and dust in the corners or the rooms.

The master bedroom has a hole in the wall.

The kitchen has never been cleaned properly. the smell form the fridge and oven were awful. There was rotting bread in the pantry.

The light in the bathroom didnt work and most of the door handles were broken.

The beds were comfortable but not sure how clean they were.

not an enjoyable stay at all.

Can not use garage with larger vehicles. We had to park on the street which felt unsecure.

Didn’t get a message as to what appartment we could be in, asked for two single beds which wasn’t done so my friend slept on the lounge, no extra bedding so my friend had to buy a blanket to sleep under, tiles loose in the lounge room and one with a chunk missing in the kitchen, exhaust fans in bathroom and toilet didn’t work nor did the hair dryer, could barely park in my spot and when I did I got parked in by two vans who didn’t use their garages. All in all disappointing compared to last time.

The size was good.

Our townhouse had no heating. The AC in the living room didn't function which meant, with tile floors and with the recent cold snap, we were sitting in an igloo.

The garage door wouldn't close without forcing it down when near the bottom. That ment't having to stay in garage while the door was lowered to ensure is was down. Never felt comfortable it stayed down while out.

One light only worked in the shower. The toilet ligt couldn't be switched off.

The place is in terrible need of maintenance. Holes in walls and dirty skirting.

Only one way into the driveway on a busy road which means travelling around the block to get on that side. Noisy in the morning due to an industrial area just up the road.

I won't be book here again.

The apartment was filthy, the floors were so dirty that we didn't take our shoes off while inside the whole time. The bathroom sink had toothpaste and stains from previous guests. The courtyard was littered with cigarette butts . When I asked for the place to be cleaned, a mop may have been run over the floor but you couldn't hardly tell the difference from when we arrived.
It was also much smaller and not like the pictures online portrayed at all. Very disappointed as this was not 'budget' accomodation. I would not recommend!

Also would not recommend using wotif to book again as I have been trying to speak to someone from the site all day and have been sent non working numbers twice using wotif virtual chat. It's a shame as I have used wotif for years and not had a problem previously. Obviously their level of service has declined.

In one apartment workmen were there banging and crashing repairing

Problem in another apartment - someone had a garage full of furniture that they were clearing for whole time there!

This was very distracting on both days - even though we were in and out!

No tissues or shower caps on premises!

I received a call at 3.50pm to say that my room was no longer available due to damage the previous night. whilst the lady was helpful and tried to rearrange my booking to another area, it was not convenient as my reason for choosing the location was that it suited for what a I had planned that evening at the Cardiff RSL.. If I have been charged it needs to be reversed please as I did not stay at your premises due to the late cancellation on your part.

Everything looks good, parking was available just below where my unit located. Managed cleaned and bed was so comfortable. but bathroom was one problem. It looked clean but has more than 5 hairs on the wall........ and the toilet tissue was horrible. so scratchy! I had to ask my friend to bring me over a toilet paper for me. but other than that, i will use this apartment again, absolutely.

This place was absolutely filthy when we arrived. Dirty towel in bedroom, chips through and on the couch, floors dirty, dust thick throughout especially bathrooms. Neither TV worked, bedroom one had no picture and lounge room area tv had no sound. Vacuum I don’t think had ever been cleaned, tried vacuuming myself and was no suction, when opened it, was completely jammed with stuff and filters so bad you couldn’t clean them. Also smelled like stale cigarettes.

large & accommodating great for large families

Nice to have multiple rooms, full size kitchen in a modern town house.
Unfortunately, some of the kitchen chairs too dangerous to sit on, very noisy inside as sound bounces around, the place is tidy but needs a deep clean, standards not as high as other places.

The place is very spacious. Arrived and the apartment stank like dogs had been in there, the smell was very strong. The kitchen had not been cleaned properly as there was cooking fat all around the gas top which we cleaned.

It is very spacious inside, each room upstairs slept about 3 people which was nice to space out. The unit needs a bit of maintenance on it, loose door handles, windows covered with tape and other bits and pieces. They should be easy fixes.

I emailed the bookings department about these things and received no response.

The apartments itself are great, but I booked in at one address and they placed me in another address and was 35 minutes late in sending my door access code through, which was very frustrating after a long drive.

Very quiet,close to restaurants.Didn’t like lack of signage when looking for accommodation as is on a very busy road.More time needs to be spent on cleaning as there were dirty marks on walls and outside table was filthy.

I read the reviews after booking my stay which was the biggest mistake. I'm not sure how this place is still allowed to operate. There were insect's everyhwere, the whole house smelled like urine (yuck). The cleanliness of this place is absolutely disappointing. If you looking to enjoy your stay, then don't even bother. Newcastle doesn't really offer great quality accommodation.

We have stayed here many times as it is a great place to stay and so close to everything. The only thing I could say to make it even better would be to provide face washers with the linen and the front door needs a wind guard as it has a large gap underneath the door letting a lot of the warm air from the air con out

Great size property and good value. Garage difficult to maneuver into. Cleanliness of the bathroom was poor - hair & dust plus some mould in tile grout. A few light bulbs & shades missing and dusty exhaust fan.
Pretty good if they had better cleaners.

The light in bathroom doesn’t work :( also contacted the property to ask about how to connect YouTube and Netflix on the Tv. The host reply “we don’t know about that u have to work it out by urself”. Would not be back !

Booking was simple and staff corresponded accordingly. The room smelt upon entry and was unclean. Poor lightly made it difficult for reading and moving around. The bathroom didn't have a plug for the bath and had damaged fittings. Cupboards were dirty and luggage wasn't able to be unpacked. We will not be staying here again.

Bathroom sink was very clogged up with hair. Freezer had had something spilt in it and not cleaned. Beds were very comfortable. Very difficult to get car in and out of garage because of hedge behind it.

Cleaning staff were great. Parking should be allocated since units have parking under each apartment. Any units without car spaces shouldn't park under other booked apartments it's very uncomfortable and when booking a unit with a car space it's not nice having to park out on the street.
