Lovely hotel. Very well situated, close to the Pahos water park and roughly 20 minutes stroll from the harbour.
Pool area was the highlight. Very clean and perfectly maintained. The rooms are big and spacious, which was ideal for us with a 10 and 15 year old.

In general ok. For kids under the age of 10 I would not recommend. The facilities are old and it can noticed. Since I have young children I would not attend again. Also, the staff in the resteraunt we're not nice at all. The act like they are doing us a favor when we ordered anything. We though of complaining but we knew we won't back again so....what for

Lovely resort. We met a few people out there that have said they come back time and time again and I understand why.
They have activities for adults and kids throughout the day, great entertainers (Nikas and beatrece).
I booked this resort after a friend recommend it to me, and also after looking at the reviews on trip advisor and Expedia. Was not disappointed.

We stayed here for a week in October. We stayed in the Avanti Village in a one bedroom apartment with our 2 children aged 7 & 9. The apartment was well equipped and a good size for a family of 4. We booked bed and breakfast and chose to eat most mornings in the adjoining Avanti Hotel rather than the village as we found the service here much better.
The holiday village is in a great location close to some shops and local bars and restaurants. We enjoyed the 25 min walk along the seafront to Paphos Harbour.
We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the hotel and I would recommend the hotel to young families wanting a relaxing holiday in Cyprus.

Only had a small problem with the entertainment team because they didn’t want to put a movie on the movie night so the kids were disappointed but over all an excellent place to stay would stay again.

I would recommend this hotel for families. The rooms are big and good to have the kitchenette with small children. The pool is big and clean. The hotel is very relaxed and a nice friendly atmosphere. Food at breakfast is good and fresh. The location is great with walk to the beach, shops, restaurants all walkable but in an area which is nice and not too busy or crowded for families. We would go back.

The apartment was spacious and well appointed. Very good main pool and toddlers pool. Some town beaches were very good but we had to really hunt for them - more info in reception would have been very welcome. Very helpful and friendly staff.

Enjoyed a lovely stay here with my husband and our 2 year old. Rooms big and have everything you need (although you couldn't cook a proper meal in the kitchenette as not enough work space). Hotel met my request of upper room and over looking the field which was just perfect and made my tractor obsessed sons holiday as he could watch the farmer every morning from the balcony. Pool area lovely (although some huge ants). Evening entertainment let the hotel down sadly, the shows where on to late for kids and not many attended. Plenty of good eating places within walking distance highly recommend the little eatery Italian. Laundry facilities were brill. Ample of parking if you hire a car. I wouldn't hesitate to stop here again.

My girlfriend and I just finished a 6 night stay at the Avanti Village in Paphos and left feeling thoroughly dissapointed. On our first day, we turned up to a room with a blocked toilet and grubby floor - the toilet blockage was sorted relatively quickly, but the grubby floor not until the third day. My girlfriend sat on the sofa on another day and was bitten - the sofa turned out to be riddled with biting ants, which was 'resolved' with raid spray - what was really required here was the sofa covers to be cleaned, which were also filthy from previous tennants. The kitchen was basic, dated and not really worth using. The bed was also not a double bed, but twin beds with frames pushed together into a double, which meant slipping down in the gap every night. The shower also ran cold for around 10 minutes every morning before running hot enough to shower in.
The breakfast was repetitive, and we found out on the last day that the hotel across the road (which has shared facilities) has a better selection - quite irritating as after 4 days of oiley meats, cereal, toast, pancakes and a small variety of fruit, we could have done with a change. We tried eating at the pool bar at the hotel once, but the food here was terrible and we left most of it. The only good thing was the pool area which was clean. Overall, we left dissapointed, but we tried to not let this ruin the holiday. If you've booked at the Avanti Village, I would suggest using the hotel facilities as much as possible.

Perfect family holiday.
Lovely clean accomodation with all you need to self cater on either ob site or nearby. Perfect location for beach and to walk to Paphos. Avanti staff were all helpful with a couple of problems we had and were always friendly. We loved Avanti village during spring wih the gardens looking so colourful.

Difficult to find fault here. The village is exceptional, led primarilly by the outstanding staff. There was nothing too difficult, or too problematic for them. Absolutely charming, helpful and effecient. The whole place was winding down for the season and one might expect that they had done their bit over a long summer.
We were invited to their end of season party and, as always were made very welcome.
Happy to recommend this place to anyone, and everyone. You will not be disappointed.

Could do with a refurb
Accommodation was a little tired and could be refurbished. Our room was a little dark as on ground floor and view was of green netting that runs along edge of village. Gardens could be better and grass would benefit from some watering.

The apartments were clean and spacious, with clean towels every day. The surrounding pool area delightful with trees and shrubs, and birds . Staff very friendly and helpful. Local fiesta bar and restaurant very nice and staff welcoming.

We stayed in the Avanti Holiday Village (next to the Avanti Hotel) self catering for a week in early September. The big pool area had far more sun loungers than people and the kids pool was really quiet. The on site supermarket was okay for basics as were a couple of others nearby but the big supermarket in Paphos town is best for variety.

Hotel is very welcoming and has everything you need. The apartments were very private with great self catering facilities however the hotel also had a lovely community feel if you wanted to get involved with daily activities. We were a couple, most are families but we found it suited either. Good to have access to the next door hotel facilities if you wanted a quieter day by that pool. But we prefered our self catering villa style apartments to go back to. Lovely stay, thank you.

Avanti Village is in a nice quiet relaxing location with some nearby restaurants and bars. It is a 30min stroll from the beautiful but busier and livelier harbour.
The hotel itself is clean but it could do with a little bit of updating and freshening up.
The hot water was a little bit temperamental, although this was resolved by helpful hotel staff quickly. Cleaners also did a great job of making bed, cleaning the bathroom and providing fresh towels every day.
They have taken some of the trip advisor comments from last year too seriously. The majority of comments from last year seemed to be complaints about lack of activities.
Well this year, it appears as if they are not taking in to consideration people who just wish to relax quietly by the pool.

Avanti Village has more character than most complexes of its size, an excellent pool, pleasant accommodation and very helpful staff. Our only criticism was that when we arrived, after midnight, we were directed to our apartment rather than being taken there. As two (tired) female travellers we did not enjoy struggling with our cases and searching for our apartment in the dark.

We weren't happy with our first room but the hotel offered us a room with a view of the pool the next morning and it was lovely. They were so helpful. The beds were really hard and so I asked if they had a matress topper and they did. :)
The kids club sucked to be honest. My little boy is 5 and was excited to play football and or do outdoor activities. The club consisted of a young girl pretty much babysitting 2-3 year olds in a room with some coloring pens and a tumble mat. We were very disappointed and never really got the break we expected. The worst part was that the pool was freezing! My little boy's lips were blue within 5 minutes of going for a swim. All in all its a beautiful place but we would not be going back.
