We had a good stay overall, although the apartment bathroom was situated above an a/c unit that served the block I think, as it was unbearably hot and affected the a/c performance within the apartment itself.
Fittings and furnishings quite outdated; mostly clean and serviceable though. The staff that we met were all very friendly and the layout of resort is really good.

I stayed in the apartments as a solo traveller great value for money.

On a weekend stay, the pool fills up pretty quickly, was quiet noisey and lacks serenity/privacy if you're hoping for a relaxing stay. Saying this, suitable for families with the bbq facilities by the pool. The transport servics are very accessible here to get into town.

Loved the pools! Our villa was spacious, clean and had everything we needed. Everyone was very friendly, check in and check out was easy. Ample parking. Nice to be out of the main town, so nice and quiet. Close to the wildlife park and a supermarket. Easy distance to the beach for morning sunrises. Would def stay again!

We had mix but overall negative experience. The villa we stayed in was clean and looked great on arrival and I loved the pool.
However, the fridge wasn't working, luckily they were able to replace this on day one, but we had a list of other issues. Couch felt damp and had a musky smell, one of the burners on the gas stove kept flaming out, meaning you could only us one burner at a time. Most of the pots and pans were dirty and the non stick badly scratched. One set of partly melted plastic tongs to cook with. Washing machine had stale water in the bottom and took forever to fill, I pored kettles of water to speed this up, no bucket even though mops supplied. We did get replacement pots, but due to check out the next day, we didn't get to use them.
For what was rated at 4 stars, the maintenance was a real letdown.

While our stay was pleasant, we were disappointed with some of the customer support. We appreciated that the maintenance staff may be short handed but as guests we anticipate friendly & courteous responses. Therese at reception was delightful. Spa voucher was an excellent VIP bonus.

The resort is in good location. very clean and exotic place. The apartment where we were staying bit rundown. However, we then upgraded to Villa which made our stay worth it (Thanks to the friendly staff). Totally recommend Villas to stay at Paradise links.

Villa Paradise was exceptional and great for my 2 daughters and their families. Total of 8; including 5 grown teenagers. Plenty of space. Having your own private pool was great and view of golf course was fabulous. Would thoroughly recommend. My husband and I had a 1 bedroom apartment which was very spacious. Paradise Links resort was certainly a great choice.

After reading some of the negative reviews I was quite concerned however the place was comfortable, relaxing and had everything we needed in the kitchen. Albeit the place is dated, tired and could do with a decent refurbishment. Some reviews mentioned issues with parking but we had no problem for the ten nights when we were there. The rooms are clean and bed super comfy.

Villa 1 was run down and in need of serious upgrade.
Furniture is old and worn, particularly the couch and wicker furniture bar stools had broken wicker, the bedroom pillows smell of sweat and need refreshing as do the blankets.
Bbq was in poor condition but staff arranged another temporary one for our stay.

We very much enjoyed our stay at Paradise Links. Julian checked us in quick and efficiently. John was great, he helped us with some wifi issues and at first we had an issue with the sofa bed but John solved the issue quickly and our stay was very nice. It’s a great location, we had a rental car so we could explore the area. The facilities were clean and secure and the pool area is beautiful. We recommend Paradise Links for your stay in the Port Douglas area.

Kitchen is cluttered and poor quality cooking utensils. Little space for guest food storage, etc.
Property is noisy due to window screens architecture and hard floors.
No quilts even though it is winter. Throws were just stuffed into cupboard.
Only 2 towels supplied even though we were there for a week.

The room we stayed in was terrible the cleanliness of this room was disgusting the shower bath had scum on it the range hood had so much oil on it it smelled the room had a stale smell to it .. you need to get better cleaner this was the second room we went to as the first room the power kept blowing TV kept turning of

Big, older apartment with an amazing pool

Large apartment with two large balconies in a big, quiet gated complex. The pool was amazing and there were lots of pool toys for the kids. Beautiful gardens that were well maintained. The staff was friendly but we didn’t interact with them much at all as we were out during the day and reception isn’t open beyond 8:30-5.

However, the apartment itself was pretty run down. Ripped carpet, chipped counters and furniture, heavily used appliances (scratched up and stained) and very uncomfortable plastic cushioned sofas and chairs. It was clean and the beds were comfortable though. Just all older and very well used.

Extremely Disappointing

Our stay was disappointing 😞 we were significantly impacted by a large group of people smoking in the apartments below. We were unable to use our balcony because of the amount of smoke, or leave clothes outside. We reported to management, twice, we were met with 'you
should of said something to them, thats what happens in the real world'. We were also informed that the people below were owners and that there was nothing management could do. Needless to say that we felt humiliated by the suggested solution to solve this issue and extremely unsupported as guests in the resort.

A short drive out of the heart of port Douglas but absolutely worth it. Similarly priced places were smaller - we had a 2 bed villa, kitchen - all the amenities we needed and would absolutely stay again. Fantastic for kids with the pools and tennis court. It felt like home.

The apartment was big enough for two people,and was clean, but there was no duvet only thin sheets(we have been to port Douglas 5th time and it was still a bit cold during the night)so we ended up using blanket from closet but my husband and my self has been scratching/getting rash everywhere all our holidays and still have rash on our body. I think the blanket wasn’t clean enough.or dusty.we had a very bad sleeping situation.won’t come back again.

We had the pool area to ourselves or few people for a lot of the time. The children loved the multiple pools and the pool toys that were around the pool area.
You could hear other guests very easily though. I think as none of the windows had glass, only shutters and fly screens. This was the only negative really. Fridge was huge, coffee machine nice and comfy beds and pillows. Loved the large baths and nice towels

Nice place, nice room although a bit dated, all taps a little stiff, TV's very small, microwave went bang firsttime we tried it, almost fall through the couch, light sensor in loby had a mind of its own and kept coming on during the night, I think with a few bucks spent to update I would upgrade my rating. Just returned from a fabulous stay at paradise links. We were a group of 6 in 2 of the villas. The 2 bed villa had clearly been updated-new carpets upstairs, spotlessly clean, everything you could need for a few days away. Washer, dryer, iron, pans, all Crockery you could need. Lovely bathrooms with spa baths and nice showers. Beautiful balcony’s upstairs and downstairs with view of the golf course, stunning gardens and wildlife. Clean, fabulous beds.
Pool was so warm, perfect for the kids and adults. Pool towels provided. So easy to park at the villas with a garage, great touch.
Little bit out of town-no problem with a car. Close enough to enjoy the port and the town
Only complaint was 4 nights wasn’t enough! Would come back in a heartbeat. Thank you paradise links, we feel refreshed and grateful for a holiday in your slice of paradise

No Wifi with Body Corporate issues
Nice place however if you require Wifi in the privacy of your own place it may pay to look at other properties.
Upon arrival (after hours) we found a letter in our room and one with our key advising that there was no Wifi and it had been down a few days and the contractor had been unable to fix the problem but Wifi was available at reception (where there’s a couple of bench seats) although completely unsuitable for work with the need to sprawl out files etc. I went to reception the following morning to see when the Wifi will be restored as I needed it for work however was advised it had been down a couple of weeks and that the problem laid with the inactivity from the Body Corporate. No alternative was offered besides sitting on a bench seat at reception which was impossible with files etc We had no other option but to connect to our expensive international data roaming and incur a bill in the hundreds. If you also have children who like playing games and communication on social media, like ours, then this place is not for you. If the Wifi had been down for weeks with no reconnection date on hand we should have been notified as this definitely would have dictated where we stayed! On arrival back home we received an email from the resort thanking us for staying there and offered us a discount code for our next stay, not as compensation just a repeat business offer. The pool area was perfect with lots of room for the kids and water at the perfect temp. It was bliss!
The only bad thing was 3 nights wasn’t long enough, so next time we will definitely be staying longer.

Our stay was in a 2 bedroom appt for 6 nights. From the stairwell and landing to the whole apartment it was dirty. Spiderwebs on the walls and ceilings and behind doors.
There was dust and dirt built up on skirting boards and carpet, clearly never been cleaned. The fabric bed heads both had an inch of dust along the top of them which we had to try and clean before using the beds. Dirty cutlery had been left in one room.
The rooms were meant to be serviced after 4 nights, no cleaner came near the appartment the whole time we were there.
The reception staff were obviously totally disinterested, even on checkout the girl just took our key and said nothing. We were left just standing there.
The pool area was nice, but the sun lounge covers were filthy and some were mouldy.
It is disappointing as this property could be amazing if it was presented in an acceptable manner and staff were more friendly and helpful.

From the moment we walked into apt we wanted to walk out. It stunk!! We changed our days from 5 days to 3 days. (That was all Manager would do for us) It was filthy, mattress was lumpy and could feel springs. Tea towels stunk and were greasy. Pool lounges were filthy. We had 2 dead coakroaches in apt when we arrived. We couldnt get netflix as advertised. Manager, Liz said she would fix it for us. But didnt get it for us.
It was so bad we left after 2 days and lost the cost of 1 night.
We request to be refunded the night we lost. We hope you look into this accomodation.
