Nice warm pool with lush gardens; close to beach and park. Easy walk to Main Street shops. Good kitchen with full size appliances. Very humid and dust on vents and fans that hadn’t been cleaned in a while.

Excellent location and apartment was clean and well equipped with basic starter items like coffee/tea, milk, detergent and toilet paper, air conditioners worked excellently and it was a bonus to have a washer and dryer. Could connect to Netflix easily and there was free wifi. Beds were really soft and unfortunately rather uncomfortable.
Staff were friendly and housekeeping excellent. The apartment and the apartment complex in general looked a little old and could really do with a refresh but it was clean and tidy. Good place for families. The car park was also a bonus.

Perfectly situated at the top of Macrossan Street; 3 minute walk to 4 mile beach and surf club ($7 pints and good food).

Short cut through the back of the town to the Marina and the reef for snorkelling, scuba and fishing.

Great food, pubs and shopping along Macrossan street and even if there’s a drop of rain most of the walk back is under cover of the shop fronts.

Great location and was nicely furnished. Bed was very comfortable. Unit located close to beach and main street. There was mould in shower recess but probably not uncommon in tropics. Stayed 11 nights and room was not cleaned mid stay until I followed up- took two requests. Staff were friendly.

Very well situated in Port Douglas - easy to access to the beach and main street. Our accom was newly refurbished, very nicely decorated and with up to date appliances. I didn't appreciate plastic 'plants' on every flat surface. They take up space and with so many lovely plants outside the windows were not necessary. Also, the dinner plates were too big for the dishwasher!

Our initial room had a problem with the hot water so we were moved and upgraded. Great customer service. Beds the most comfortable in PD. Offered late check out which was a life saver due to a cancelled flight. Very impressed. Great location convenient to everything but not noisy. Will definitely return.

We have found our 2nd home in Port Douglas. Having visited Port Douglas many times as we love it, and stayed in many different accommodations, we have found a forever place to return to. This property was not what was represented online when I booked. The apartment was dark and gloomy, in desperate need of an update, old dark bulky furniture, bathrooms old, grates on the windows and outside pool areas cluttered. We unfortunately did not stay and left to find somewhere else to stay. Disappointed is an understatement.

We have a family of 5, including a baby and stayed in the 2 bed, 2 balcony apartment. There was plenty of room for the family and it was great that we had use of the washing machine and dryer. Beds super comfy. Great that pool towels were supplied. The kids loved the pool, we all had a fabulous time - I would highly recommend this property.

Property was a great position, within easy walking to beach, shops, restaurants but still in a quiet area.Our stay was end of July school holidays. Weather not as warm as usual so not a lot of action around the pools so very quiet.
Very clean.Our bedroom (No5)could be in a noisy position at peak time due to people walking past to other rooms and using stairwell but everyone was quiet at night whilst we were there.Had no issues at all.

Leaking toilet & oven not working, outdated quicker furtive in rooms just harbouring months of dust! Plus some spring cleaning would help dust the cobwebs off the ceilings too.

From check-in to checkout, the stay was fantastic. Great space for our family, comfortable and clean, and blessedly quiet.

A great place to stay! Convenient location very short stroll to all the restauranrs and shops on macrossan st as well as the Marina. The 3bdr was a big apartment with lots of space to spread out. We loved the pools which were never crowded even on a busy Easter weekend. Very clean appartment some small signs of wear and tear but overall thorougly recomnend and would love to stay again

The location of the property is great, the grounds are beautiful and well kept but the apartments themselves are dated and the furniture is tatty and rundown. The coffee table was broken in places, light fittings were broken, the outside dining table was old and looked dirty and the blind mechanism was so worn it didn’t work.

Nice spacious apartment , 1 block from the beach and 1 block from the top of the Main Street. Aircon and fans were plenty , the fridge is large and the kitchen is well equiped . There’s also a washing machine .

We think it was excellent for a small family for a week and good value for money at this time of the year

Stayed for 6 nights, apartment was comfortable and clean,great service from the management.
3 great pools onsite, 4 min walk from beach, playground and SLC which has meals onsite or t/away.
4 min walk from main Street very convenient and very well priced.
No lifts, but we had ground floor.
If you want ridgy didge stay somewhere else, if you want all the comforts of home this is the place 😀

The overall appearance of the property was nice, beautiful pools. The unit we were in was a bit run down. The dishwasher leaked, the shower, too, and the upholstery on the couch looked stained. There was not enough hot water for 4 people to have showers consecutively.
One bedroom lacked a fly screen on the window, resulting in lots of mosquito bites for our kids. The master bedroom faced the busier road and was very noisy from early in the morning with cars passing by.

We arrived to find there was no room available for us..upon investigation the owner found our booking had been overlooked due to internet problems, we were lucky enough to get a room closeby for two nights then come back to the apartment we had originally booked. The owners were very apologetic but this was not the start of the holiday we had respected

Stayed previously 16 years ago and not much has changed. However there is a new larger pool adjacent to the back deck. BBQ and equipment provided and always clean.Thought a bit of gardening was needed - dead palm leaves, tree ferns weeds in pot plant containers and leaves in pools. Great location only 1 block from the beach and comfortable apartment with everything supplied. Do not supply bathroom toiletries ie.shampoos etc. other than 2 small cakes of soap and we there for a week. However would stay there again.

A great location , pools are ok i however only the one to the rear gets any sun around it the two at the front are constantly in the shade except in early morning.

We had a two bed one bath room which was huge bedrooms and living areas fine but bathroom a bit dated. Only a shower no bath not any good for small children at all as the shower head is fixed to the wall.

Also if you have children request a ground floor room as the stairs are tiled and there are lots of them.

Free bbq area by the back pool.

Excellent location two minutes from the beach and surf club and five from the start of the main strip.

Wifi is very poor only really works right by the reception or in our case one corner of our balcony.

Overall good value for money but please do bear in mind Issues mentioned.

I rate this hotel as the best money for value hotel in Port Douglas and over the years have stayed in plenty of them. As a writer and critic this place was perfect for me to sit out on a large balcony, breathe the fresh sea air, and get some work done. The room is well presented, clean, well stocked with white goods, cutlery, really everything you need and a really nice well working big fridge and large television with sports channels. It has a good size kitchen, lounge room and shower. The bed was comfortable with plenty of wardrobe space and has a massive bathroom that also has a new washing machine and dryer for your convenience. The apartments has three swimming pools, one for toddlers, one with a waterfall that gets plenty of sun and the other a quiet decent size pool at the rear of the complex. The undercover parking is easy access and its only a two minute walk to four mile beach, five minutes into the heart of Port Douglas and ten minutes walk or two minute drive to Coles. If your an elderly person with walking problems best contact the Manager as you will need a ground floor apartment. The pictures on the site are as presented. The staff are magnificent and will book for you if you are to go on adventures out of Port Douglas. Overall I would give this stay a ten out of ten.

Nice apartments in a central location close to both the beach and shops. In need of some TLC in places but had everything you need to be self sufficient. Beds were very squishy so not too comfortable for us. Blind cords not all safely attached to the wall which concerned me with two small children.

We arrived after hours, around 9 pm, and everything was organised for us even though the front desk was closed, we had a letter with our key and even when we couldn't figure out how to open the door, the management answered the phone at around 10 pm and kindly helped us.
The place was so clean and in great condition, everything worked, the pools were so clean and the overall environment was great.
Super short walk to coffee, restaurant strip and 4 Mile beach.

Only issue is that the wifi did not work really good inside the apartment, but at the common areas it was ok, this was said in the advertisement so we knew what to expect.

Will definitely look at staying there again.

Our family (2 adults and 2 kids) really enjoyed our stay here. The location is quiet but right across the street from a large park, just one block from the beach, and one block from the many restaurants and shops on Macrossan Street. We loved it. Our children are school-aged but I saw many families walking around with babies and toddlers. There was very little street traffic on Garrick.

Location was great, but room was tired and needed a makeover. Photos on the internet were not indicative of actual experience. We learnt that apartments were privately owned and therefore appointed and furnished differently. Our room was not great which was extremely disappointing. Room was clean, but many fixtures were old and worn ie. rusty and stained outdoor setting, rusty clothes rack, loose bathroom floor tiles, broken lamp, dodgy dishwasher etc. Management friendly, accommodating, and shared facilities were clean and maintained. Wifi was not available in the room even though we were right next to the office. Great for families with young children, but not ideal for a holiday where peace and quiet is desirable.

The bed was absolutely terrible, felt like I was sleeping on springs. The walls are paper thin so you hear all the movement of your neighbours next door and above.
Your only aloud one towel per person and if ask to change to a fresh one you will be charged.
It is a good distance from the beach and the apartments have a nice pool onsite.

This is a really perfect location, just a block from the beach (with stinger net so you can actually swim) with a great surf club bar/restaurant. But that's the best thing about this place. It was probably nicer when new, but our room was rather tired (nothing terrible but musty smell, old cane furniture fraying, mirrors spotty with corrosion, etc), and the place is being run on a tight budget - no sense of luxury and although the main pool was nice it wasn't very clean (the second pool was even worse - I couldn't imagine anyone wanting to swim in it and saw nobody in it the whole week. I guess it is ok value but my advice would be to look elsewhere. And advice to the owners - I would rather have paid an extra $1 a night and got more than 2 toilet rolls and 1 bin bag to last a family of 4 for a week: put a bit more love into this place and your guests! Oh, and to have no wifi in the rooms is really not acceptable in this day and age.

The 1 bedroom was really large - full kitchen with ample cutlery/crockery etc. Air Con worked extremely well. We were located right near the front office unit number 3, so the Wi-Fi worked in the room (was good) however a little noisy as everyone coming home or going out had to go past our room to get to theirs.

Close to 4 mile Beach & Mocrossan St with all it's wonderful cafes & restaurants.

Pool is great however the area around it not great - bit of shame as the rest of the property is excellent & good value.

Room was clean and had everything you need. Location is perfect within easy walking distance from 4 mile beach (1 min ) and shops & restaurants (less than 5). You can buy your supplies at the supermarket and cook in your rooms fully equipped kitchen or on the large bbq supplied free by hotel.

Appartment was a good size for 2 people and nice sofa and kitchen area. Bedroom could have been improved with a newer air conditioning unit and the bed mattress was uncomfortable and in need of replacement. The bathroom also needed upgrading with basic and worn furnishings. It may have been this particular appartment but it didn't feel like good value for the cost

These apartments are old and tired and in need of an update soon.
The cumbersome furniture is ugly and uncomfortable.
There is a strange set of rules in each apartment eg do not iron on the carpet. What?
Do not put your hat on the lamps etc. really?
Servicing does not happen and the front desk is only intermittently attended.

Our unit (number 1) was in a good ground floor position, it was clean inside, but it needed a refit. As the units are individually owned their state varies from unit to unit. Ours had worn out appliances that were rusting in place. The crockery cupboard had a door handle that kept coming off.
The ward robes were not fitted with shelves (apart from one set, really rusted, in master robe).There was no chair in the master bed room only a weird side table.
The bath room tiling was loose underfoot in the master ensuite.
The pools were great as were the reception staff. All in all we had a good stay, but a good job we hd good weatr and did not have to stay inside the clapped out apartment

Enjoyed it. Room was comfortable and well equipped although the TV coverage was average. Wifi is only available in reception area. Owners are pleasant and helpful on which are the best value trips. I took their advice and they were spot on

Beach Terraces was fantastic friendly staff helpful organizing day trips, close to shops and beach rooms where clean and roomy my daughter in particular loved the pool, we will be going back.

Spacious, close to everything, awesome for family

Huge rooms, excellent air conditioning throughout, great kitchen and a short walk to shops and the beach.kids loved the pool and the BBQ next to the pool was handy. We have 4 boys and this was perfect for us. The laundry inside the apartment was a godsend.

Accommodation was fine and facilities adequate, however having to pay for internet access and then only being able to get it at the front of the building was a bit annoying, even though it was only $10

Close to beach and shops

Very pleased with the hotel as it was only a very short walk to the beach and similar to shops and restaurants. No need for a car. Staff were very helpful. The 3 bedroom apartment was spacious and clean and included a large balcony. Diffinately would stay here again.
