The apartment was great. The staff warned us a week out that if we had an early flight the morning we were checking out that there was a major bike race on and that we should consider staying in Cairns the night. This was truly appreciated. I booked accommodation in Cairns, and then was refused a refund for the last night of our accommodation, this was very disappointing as they were the ones that told us we shouldn’t stay… apart from that the apartment was great, they could have been more generous on coffee pods, 4 for two people for 6 nights was very light on, especially for an expensive resort. Parking was easy as they have on sight car parks. The pool was beautiful, especially at night and the option of getting fresh towels daily was good too

The top floor penthouse apartments are gorgeous and very large with stunning views and private plunge pools. Loved every minute. Bespoke boutique 5 star experience. We will be back! A experience!!

Beautiful modern apartments and facilities in an excellent location within walking distance of cafes and shops. We stayed in an apartment with a pool and spa on the balcony which was brilliant! Only minor issue was that we were in the end apartment which has a property next door with quite a number of balconies looking in through a glass fence. However, overall a great property and we highly recommend.

We enjoyed everything about Coconut Grove. Accommodation was 5 Star. Full kitchen, BBQ on balcony, spa bath, washing machine and dryer. Like home away from home. Beach 2 minutes walk. This was our first time to Port Douglas and our plane touched down a little late in Cairns so we had to phone ahead to the Cocnut Grove to let them know. They were extremely polite and responsive to our needs (Morgan) and that same customer experience continued on upon our arrival. The person we met the next morning (Ronal)) gave us great instructions and provided useful tips about restaurants and stores in the area. The unit itself was immaculate and the bed was comfortable. We had 3 days of enjoyment and 3 nights of quiet restful sleep. Who could ask for more?!

The size of the apartment is HUGE! If you walk out the front door , turn left for the beach or right turn to Main Street. Everything in walking distance. You can eat out of if you want or a beautiful clean bbq awaits you on your balcony with views of the mountains. Once you stay at Coconut Grove you’ll never stay anywhere else in Port Douglas again!

Fantastic apartment close to all that Port Douglas has to offer, the pool was great which we had to ourselves as most apartments have a plunge pool. The apartment itself had everything you needed cooking facilities 2 gorgeous bathrooms with laundry facilities a lovely living area with a big screen TV the only complaint that we would have is that the bed was very uncomfortable but we had the most wonderful time.

i had a unit with its own plunge pool and spa which was fantastic the only thing i didn't like ( now this is very minor) was there wasnt a lot of privacy when we used the pool and spa. The unit itself had everything you could ask for, modern and spacious.

This is a good quality property, well appointed, quite new and spotless. Cheese, crackers and chocolate in the fridge on arrival. The undercover parking is free in every sense. The apartments are in the main street of Port douglas, within walking distance of all the shops and restaurants. The block is limited, hence not much garden, pool etc - families with children might find a more expansive site more suitable for their family's needs. The main pool is more of a decorative feature than a pool for kids to play in. Some (all?) of the apartments come with their own splash pool/spa pool. The staff were excellent.

Coconut Grove is absolutely beautiful place to stay in Port Douglas. We had a penthouse with private pool and the extra cost was completely worth it. The private pool area was awesome and it had great views of the area with water views on both sides. Walking to everything was so easy and convenient. The staff was very helpful on site and there was private, secure parking for hotel guests. We couldnt have asked for a better place to stay and highly recommend for those coming to Port Douglas.

Pictures does not do this place justice. It was beyond expectations. Such a lively, artsy, modern, fun vibe, with such great staff. Starting with check in, we were upgraded from Superoo to the Loft thanks Gold Member perks via Hotels. In the room itself, so many gratuitous goodies to be had : mini bar (restocked daily), aussie welcome snacks, T2 assortment of teas, and yoga mat to name a few. Way too cool! Bed was just right, with comfortable sheets/blanket. Overall, clean and \"hip\" just the way we like it. Location on the pier, but within walking distance through Hyde Park/Royal Botanical Gardens. Just lovely to wake up to this morning stroll with a nice cup of coffee in hand. Definitely will stay here again on our next holiday.

Great experience! Room was clean and comfortable, with modern appointments expected for a high end apartment. Rooftop pool, spa and terrace were great, and the food preparation area with the bbq was very convenient. Views from beach to mountains were breathtaking! I found bed a little on the soft side, but that is personal preference. Door stuck a little to the bedroom, but did not pose any concern to us, as it was only a one bedroom apartment, with the two of us staying so did not need the privacy to the bedroom. Overall very positive experience, would love to get back and stay again!

It’s an amazing location right in the Main Street. We took our 91 year old mother and she was able to walk up the street for dinner and get around quite well. I would highly recommend this high end apartment. Lovely reception staff. Beautiful cheese platter in the fridge on arrival, large towels and very, very comfortable bed. The lush green plants and beautiful pool in the shade, with a spa and lap pool with a water feature, made for a luxurious feel. Perfectly located near the beach and shops with secure shaded parking . We loved our stay and would highly recommend these apartments.

As soon as we walked into the hotel we were impressed it was so clean the airconditioner was on with a few lights it made the apartment so impressive, our rooms were spacious and gorgeous, the kitchen meals area had all the equipment that a family would require. We were pleasantly surprised with a beautiful cheese platter and dip to share on our arrival.The children were never out of the pool and everything that we required were at our door steps including the beach a 5 min walk. The staff were so friendly, I would recommend to all my family and friends so a big thank for an awesome vacation to the Coconut Grove Team!

Apartment has everything you need and a lot of thought has been put into all the little extras. Loved the L'Occitane bathroom accessories too. Internet a little poor but can't fault anything else. Perfect for a romantic break or family stay. Penthouse suite a must if you want the perfect views and added privacy.

Stayed 3 nights as a couple. Remember, most lodging in town in apartment-style, meaning full kitchen/wash room/etc., and no daily turndown service.
Very modern, updated, high-end appliances, spotlessly clean, quality sheets and a full kitchen with coffee/tea. Enormous closets, bathroom with jacuzzi tub or large shower. Many of the apts have their own small pool and sauna (the latter of which can be semi-private, otherwise the pool is in plain view of all balconies on floors above, of which there are a dozen or more).

Make sure you call ahead if you arriving outside of business hours so that the key and entry can be arranged for you.
Only real negative: the WiFi is a blast from the past. Speed is acceptable, but instead of logging in via a WPA/WEP type key, you have a popup window, manually log in, and it logs you out every hour. No way to continuously stay connected So let's say you have some real work to do - it is constant interruption. For $500/night, they need to fix that situation and get it in line with other quality places.

We had very pleasant stay. Very spacious unit in the middle of town which is nice. The only criticism is the pool area which is rather small, especially the pool, and with lots of children around quite noisy. I can appreciate that kids around a pool make noise naturally, but for such a quality accomodation I feel that this lets them down.
