The only downfall was at times we were unable to enjoy the swimming pool as when more than 3 people in big pool it is classed as busy and kids not able to go into big pool.

With the breakfasts they ran out of croissants and waffles. The last 2 days of our stay kids were unable to get croissants and last day they ran out of waffles. The breakfasts are lovely and very tasty but unfortunately this is our second time staying at this hotel and both times they have ran out of stock for breakfast.

The staff themselves are so friendly and helpful and do what they can to help or make your stay better. Can not fault them at all.

We started out with a very nice woman checking us in but the family room was on the third floor with an elevator up and then a flight of stairs Down to our hallway. Very difficult with luggage and two elderly parents. One bed had a dirty sheet or blood stains and when we called down to the desk a gentleman answered and told us he wasn’t housekeeping and hung up? With no line to housekeeping we called back and the gentleman told me if I wanted a new sheet, I’d have to come to reception to get it myself. I went down and he gave me what I thought was a sheet but turned out to be a duvet cover. The toilet was also detaching from the wall and felt unsafe to sit on considering it is anchored to the wall above the ground.

Staff were great, rooms were clean but important to note that while this is a hotel in smart condition it doesn't have air condition. Initially I was in a ground floor room with no air conditioning and no security clips on the windows so couldn't leave them open overnight as entirely possible for someone to climb in. Complained and was immediately moved to a first floor room. Lovely place but not for hot nights in Summer - impossible to sleep on the ground floor safely.

Beautiful hotel and great staff

From the time we stepped into this hotel ,everything was exellent. The staff were so friendly and welcoming . Even when i asked about something they went out of their way to find out for me. Room was on first floor and just spotless. Newly renovated so top class. The pool and jacuzzi area so clean and lovely to use. Breakfast was just what we needed to start our day the following day. Would give this a 5 star rating for our stay.highly recommend.

Lovely hotel just outside Dublin. Staff was very helpful. They guided us on how to take a bus into town, which is right outside the hotel. They are very accommodating. They have a bar and restaurant which seemed like a good menu but I only eat the seafood chowder, yummy. They let me take my chowder and a bucket of ice back to my room.

Excellent Place to Stay and Eat!

The staff is amazing, and the lunch and dinner menu in the dining room is fantastic. The chef is truly excellent, and every meal we had there was really good! All of the staff is so friendly and helpful. We found the front desk staff to be outstanding!

Lovely clean hotel with friendly staff

Had to book last minute accomodation, the hotel was just what we needed. The room was clean and we had plenty of space, the staff were hepful and accommodating. The swimming pool was easy to book, unlike other hotels, so we made plenty of use of it! We will definitely stay here again when we are seeing the family.

Just back from a stay at Rochestown Lodge Hotel in Dublin and loved it! 💫

✨ Spotlessly clean, comfy rooms (309 is great!)
🍳 Tasty breakfasts + relaxing bar vibes
🏊‍♀️ Amazing leisure centre – pool, jacuzzi & sauna were highlights
💁‍♀️ Staff were genuinely lovely and so helpful
🌊 Great location near Dun Laoghaire, with gorgeous coastal views!

It’s about 25 mins from the city, but 5 mins in a cab to the lovely Dalkey. It is perfect if you're after a peaceful break with fab facilities.

Great 3 night stay, 10 mins from sailing club.

Staying with a teenager for a sailing competition. Room had a double and a single which were comfortable, although the quilts were a bit heavy for the time of year. Great shower enclosure. Big TV, so the evening were sorted. Two good evening meals, burgers then the Rib Eye Steak. Went with chef's recommendation to have them medium rare. Pepper sauce was amazing. Also a well equiped gym in the basement.

Hotel was lovely, great value for money. The pub and restaurant attached offered delicious food and the staff in the bar area were extremely helpful and friendly.

Reception staff most were very friendly but one member of staff in particular seemed to take offense to any small complaint and was actually quite rude.

Overall i would definitely recommend this hotel, especially for families who want to experience the city but be able to stay in a calmer environment
