We stay at of “roadside” hotels while we travel as a family and this is probably one of the nicest ones we’ve ever stayed at. Our room had two separate bedrooms with their own bathroom, a living room and a full kitchen with all the pots, pans, plates, etc. The room and common spaces were immaculate and so were the grounds around the hotel, which was great for walking our dog. Staff at the front desk and breakfast area were nice and helpful

We stayed in room 112. Over all very clean only the standard dirt. Two beds two baths. Beds were comfy showers had good pressure. Kitchen living room were nice. Room was clean and everything worked. Associate who checked us in was terrific super friendly which I loved. Easy to find. Was able to park in front of the door we entered to get to our room which was terrific. Overall good experience.

Both bathrooms had o my cold water from the sink faucets. If you wanted to wash or brush, you better do it in within 10 seconds until the water turns boiling hot. I’ve never seen anything like that in my life. Otherwise, the 2-bedroom room was very large and otherwise ok.

The staff was helpful and friendly. However the bathroom had black spots of mold on the wall paper, the toilet didn’t t flush properly, you could hear the people above all night loudly talking. There were batteries missing in the remotes and dishes stilll in the dishwasher from the previous stay. The milk at the breakfast counter in their fridge was spoiled and there were ants on the food counter, many of them. The facility itself was tidy and comfortable, just kinda all by itself. And they charge 20 dollars a day to park on top off the room fee? Seems like that should include that in the price already.

The breakfast available on Friday of our stay was terrible. Shouldn’t be able to advertise free breakfast when nothing except the eggs were available. No butter (person servicing the breakfast area said it was accidentally thrown away), no waffles or pancakes, no fruit, coffee pots empty until I complained, etc. the weekend was better, still not anything to get excited about. This hotel was expensive for what it offered.

Shampoo dispenser was broken off the wall and placed on ledge inside the shower. Breakfast provided was mediocre and ants seen on the counter.

I needed a help with finding my denture fell into the sink of my bedroom. Front desk was quick to get a plumber next morning and found it. However, when I unpacked my suitcase at my next stop hotel in Philadelphia, there were no purse and a pair of black dress shoes of my wife. She didn’t use them in Carlisle. I didn’t lock my suitcase while I was in Carlisle. Helpful front desk but suspicious room cleaner.

I didn't like being charged for parking that was never disclosed but showed up on my bill. The pool was closed all weekend and we were really looking forward to swimming as it was a hot weekend. I feel there should have been a discount for that as we were already paying over $1,000.00 for 3 nights because of the truck show which is ridiculous price gouging. The breakfast was the worst I have ever seen and we never even ate it, we walked away. The beds were hard as a rock and none of us could sleep comfortably. This used to be one of the nicer places to stay, but sadly not anymore.I'm going back to camping.

Property had been renovated and is in great condition. The hotel was pretty much fully booked. Price was competitive for such a nice place to stay. Until they zapped me with a pet fee. That hurts going in and out! NYC is half; Newport RI a third; Hampton half; Marriott are you kidding for dog: I doubt I’ll use Marriott again unless no other choice, plus your gardens are full of weeds and grass hasn’t been cut for a month.

Dead bugs everywhere in the windows. Windows dirty. Toilet wasn’t cleaned, arrived and there were pee spots on the mouth of the toilet. Fridge was making a LOT of noise, luckily I could close the door to my bedroom from the kitchen noise. CHARGED ME FOR PARKING…literally have never seen that happen. They don’t disclose it, they just charge you on your incidentals to try and avoid conflict. I have a stay scheduled at another Residence Inn for October and will be cancelling that reservation in short order. I want a refund!

Had to drive home from NYC instead of flying and stayed here. It was great for us to get a bit of rest before hitting the road again. Only downside is the breakfast didn't open until 10 minutes after we were leaving and the staff would not permit us to grab something to take with us before we hit the road on our long journey home.

The water was off 2 days in a row to fix the water pressure but the water pressure still sucked. The pool and spa were closed for 2-3 days because they couldn’t balance the chemicals, which is ridiculously easy to do. We opted into housekeeping every other day but in 12 nights our room was cleaned twice. I complained multiple times to get the first cleaning. Breakfast was mass scrambled eggs and some kind of sausage. Precooked bacon was one day a weeek. Parking is $5.12 plus tax every day, which is insane. If you are staying for more than a couple nights, take your own tissues, toilet paper, and paper towels. Do not expect to get your room cleaned ever or get clean towels and other supplies such as soap. The air conditioning did not work properly and it would take all night of running nonstop to even come close to the set temperature. It was consistently 2-3 degrees above the set temp without it turning on. The hotel is across the street from 2 truck stops and at a turnpike exit so there is a lot of truck noise. I do not want to stay there again. The only 2 washers in the hotel were both broken for a while. We will be in the area for 2 weeks every summer and I hope we never have to stay here a second time. It was not worth it. It was such a ripoff. We paid a ton of money to stay here and we did not get what we paid for. I want my money back!

Bed was great but sofa bed was nothing but springs so my daughter slept on it as a sofa, which wasn’t too comfortable. Phone in room didn’t work. Very little hot water regardless of the time of day. Breakfast was seriously lacking and more often than not, any eggs were dried out from sitting. Very carb loaded options. Elevator was broken and carrying luggage up and down stairs was not an easy task. They tried to charge me for parking, which was not disclosed at booking or checkin. Had to ask twice for towel exchange because they didn’t show the first time.

We traveled to Pennsylvania to pick up a dog and I got this hotel off a triple a site though it isn’t listed as such I was welcomed and informed of the pet deposit but the room was clean , comfortable and very convenient for our needs the individuals at the desk helped me get peanut butter as my dog needed it for a pill they also where ready to greet and welcome her I would stay again and recommend to any one traveling to the area that had pets.

Nice place to stay. Very clean and the rooms are spacious. We have stayed here many times and it never disappoints. I am however a little discouraged as it seems they have added a \"daily parking fee\" that I never had before or at least didnt catch it. I can understand the fee if there are parking challenges but there are not. A very large parking lot with enough spaced to accomodate several hotels. Shame on you Marriot for gouging people for parking!

Check in was quick and easy. Staff were very friendly. Our room was close to the door which has some ups and downs. It was easy access to bring our dog outside but the door kept slamming shut and it was very loud when anybody would leave through that side. The room was spacious but unfortunately had a water leak from the AC so the carpet around that area and near the bed was soaked. We had to keep asking for towels to put down.

The stay was fine. But we were very disappointed the corporate dictates the room is cleaned once a week! We were here for two nights. Our bed wasn’t even made! When I pay $500 for sleeping in a bed and the use of a shower I want my bed made! Not asking too much. These stupid covid excuses are asinine! The damn virus doesn’t even live on surfaces! Get with the science and start giving cleaning service again! This is so stupid except that you save a ton of money. We won’t be choosing Marriott until you regain some sense of customer care! Clean the darn room!

The property itself is really nice. We enjoyed our stay and it was clean and quiet. We were traveling from Boston to Knoxville, and this proved to be a nice break in our long drive home. We picked the hotel partly because it was listed as pet friendly. We booked the hotel through Orbitz and got there around midnight. After I finished checking in, I told the employee at the front desk that we picked the hotel because it was pet friendly and that we had two black lab puppies. He asked if I knew the hotel policy on pets. He explained that it was $125 fee to have your pets stay in the room. I told him I thought that was excessive since the room alone was $109. He said that was the policy. I then told him we would leave the pets in the car as we slept. He said that was illegal and we couldn’t do that. I am not against paying an extra fee to have dogs in the room my issues are:
1.Paying more for the pets then the entire room seems ridiculous.
2.I wish there was clearer pricing when we booked the hotel on the pet fee. I filtered the hotels by pet friendly, but nothing was mentioned of the $125 fee.
3.I’m not sure it’s the hotels role to tell me I can’t leave my dogs in my car overnight. Not my preference, but it was going to be 40 degrees and not too hot or cold outside.

Thanksgiving stay at the Residence Inn
I arrived very late in the night just prior to Thanksgiving Day. Worried about getting everything packed in and settling down I was greeted by a very hospitable gentleman named Stewart who was excellent at informing me of all the amenities available to me and directing me to my living space. Stewart was very concise and pleasant in his demeanor and I appreciated his friendly attitude after having driven a good 8 hours to be greeted with such warmth and hospitality. My living arrangement was exactly what I wanted and needed to accommodate my needs. I had several Thanksgiving dishes I wished to bake and prepare and the kitchen was fully operable and provided me all the space, appliances and stocked dish soap and utensils I needed to accomplish my tasks. My bed was very comfortable and bathroom clean and accommodating. Also, a gas station and convenience store was nearby as well as a McDonald’s and some restaurants but being Thanksgiving ,I really did not go to the restaurants. I enjoyed my stay and the friendly front desk help and even talked to Rachel during my stay when I somehow messed up the channel information on the television. She was very friendly and said she would help in any way she could. It really was not a big issue at all but appreciate her attentiveness to my call. Would definitely stay here again. I did not get to enjoy the pool or hot tub but was told it was open and available for my enjoyment. I saw the pool & hot tub when I arrived and it looked inviting.

Overnight trip with 10 year old son & nephews…enjoyed the pool & jacuzzi even tho the jets weren’t powerful at all but the water was nice & warm so it was still nice to be in it. The room was super cute & comfy except the heat didn’t feel like it warmed the bedroom at all, to me it felt like the air was on & it didn’t feel comfortable. Outside of that it was a good time & we enjoyed our stay.

The room, especially the toilet was haphazardly cleaned. If the toliet and under sink are left to look the way they did, what else was left uncleaned. Furniture was very uncomfortable. One night was extra loud and when I discussed it with staff the following morning their attitude was far less than concerned or caring. There are deferred mainteance issues, eg our door had large gaps on sides and bottom. The carpet in the hallway outside our room was never vacuumed during our entire five night stay as evendiced by the broked plaster and other debris on the carpet. The housekeeping procedure of once a week was never explained at check in. I personally would never stay there again or recommend it.

The accommodations were excellent. My only complaint was an extremely loud group that was allowed to carry on in the outside seating area. I would think that by 10 pm that area should be closed off. This group was still partying at 4:00 am in the morning. I could hardly sleep all night. Whoever was the night personnel should have shut that group down. I was not the only guest that was kept up for most of the night.
