The staff was very nice and picked us up late from the airport no problem. Convenient for a quick one night stay
Narasimha Murthy
We loved the stay at Candlewood suites. It is well maintained hotel. If you are planning to cook during your vacation, then this place is ideal.
Anthony
Checking in was wonderful! The person on the next shift was NOT VERY GOOD. checking out and coordinating shuttle to the airport was Excellent (same person checking me in the previous day) ... overall I would stay again!!
Melissa
Arrived late flew the red eye. Front desk staff was kind and helpful
Melissa
Staff was professional and courteous and provided a shuttle to the airport

Great hotel to stay at when you have a flight out at the Knoxville airport. I was able to work comfortably at the work station in my room and got a good night's sleep before my flight out.
Matthew
Nice Hotel, staff were really helpful and a nice selection of drinks and snacks available.
Troy
clean rooms, clean beds most important. the kitchenet drawers wouldn't stay in. AC was nice and cold. The main street is very difficult to cross over, but a mile down was a loop around. I would stay there again.

Was surprised by the room including the full size fridge. Staff was very helpful and the shuttle service being available 24 hours to the airport was especially helpful with as busy as Knoxville airport has gotten.

I have stayed in several hotels in this area and decided on this hotel because they offered laundry which I needed. I was pleasantly surprised at the amenities such as the fitness center , laundry facilities and the room itself. I gave it a 4 star for cleanliness only because the hallway and garbage by the elevator was overflowing and it smelled strong. The room itself was clean and quiet and I loved the wall unit A/C. It was well stocked with supplies. I would definitely stay here again.
Gary
Excellent staff very helpful. Great information about the airport and shuttle.
Sara
Good hotel. We got in late and left early. The room was clean and spacious. Would definitely stay again
Bryce
This was a great option for an airport hotel. The price was fair, the room was clean, the airport shuttle was quick and efficient, and the staff was super friendly and helpful. Tracy, who I believe was the manager was always around and always super friendly and helpful. She made sure everything about the stay was exactly what I needed. Very nice to see a manager of a property so invested in everyone’s stay. Would definitely stay here again.
Tracy
Exercise room was fabulous! A door that separates the laundry room is needed.
Juanel
Enjoyed my stay, very quite environment
Mary
I asked for a wake-up call that I never received. Someone’s footsteps above me woke me up! I loved the convenience of the shuttle bus and being able to leave my car there. Thanks!
James
We stayed two nights and specifically chose this hotel for the kitchenette. The ice maker didn't work, and since all the units have ice makers there is no where else to get ice. The 2 burner cooktop did not work at all. No lights, no heat. For us this, other than having a larger refrigerator than most hotel rooms, it was useless.
Clayton
Bathroom floors, door, shower curtain could have been cleaner.
Check-in was wonderful, check out, early morning, not so much, Clerk was sitting in lobby and didn't get up to assist or check us out. A bit too casual.

The staff was awesome! The hotel was very clean, except for the stairs next to the elevator, they smelled of cat and dog urine.
Heather
It was perfect for the stay before our flight.
Carlos Javier
Todo ok cerca de la zona del aeropuerto
Eric
Seemed clean and close to the airport
Ira
The room was clean and well maintained. The area around the property is quiet. The staff is friendly and helpful.

Left a wake up call for 3AM. NEVER got it. Front desk has to drive guests to airport (literally, cross the street). Most of chargers fell out of the plugs……the plugs are so old that the plug does not grab the prongs. Room smelled bad. Chrome finish on several things in the tub was worn off, and that which did remain had years of hard water stains. Items for sale in the snack area were few and far between. Front desk had to run over to Best Western to replace the coffee creamer.
Grass in the door to the computer area was broken. Clock in the lobby was not running. The staff
me that the batteries seem to last less than a week.
There are better hotels/motels within 2 miles, pick one of those. Sidebar..small town NO taxi service at 4AM.

Probably has good parking and clean rooms
samantha
The entire place was amazing

Staff was great. Park and fly option is great. My only complaint is that the tv is mounted in a weird way so only one of us could see the screen from the bed. The bathroom hand soap is mounted on a wall so you have to shut the door to use the sink. It was pretty noisy in the hallways in early evening. Other than that it was a great stay.
Sherry
Clean, Staff was helpful, plenty of parking
Sara
Room was nice and clean, staff was very professional and friendly. Good parking and area for pets to walk around in. Staff gave my dog treats when they saw her 😊
Catherine
Delightful and helpful staff. Expectations met!
Robert
Night staff was great
Catherine
Loved our stay, roominess of our hotel room, friendly staff and ease of check-in
Janet
The midnight shuttle was very fast getting to the airport.
Vernesa Crystal
Staff was super helpful and friendly.

The room was clean and the parking was easy and the location was great being across the street from the airport. For being a pet friendly hotel, the room I was in didn’t smell like animals or have any other odors. I had a kitchenette that had all the basic kitchen utensils needed to prepare a meal if I needed to, and it all appeared clean.
Rachel
I arrived at 12:30am and couldn’t get in a room until 2:30 am. I to switch rooms 3 times. The first room had a neighboring storage room, which had an alarm going off due to a missing battery. It was too loud to sleep. The second room had a disgusting smell. And the third room was humid so the bedding felt damp. When attempting to get help from the front desk, there was not a manager on site. The front desk receptionist also ran the shuttle to the airport, so no one was there to help.
Tricia
Probably one of the best hotels I have ever stayed at. Incredibly friendly staff, great outdoor space for dogs, rooms are large and the beds are actually comfortable!! We travel somewhat frequently and will be back.
Ron
Hotel has a good location, but, unfortunately, the reviews online are a bit inaccurate given our experience. The hotel was very dirty-including the elevator- and needed sweeping and vacuuming. In addition, there was a horrible smell and the bathroom was not clean as well. I hate to leave a review like this one, but avoid this hotel if at all possible.
Jessica
Close to the airport, friendly staff and convenient shuttle to the airport. Room was big. Hotel kinda had an odor, most likely from allowing pets. Over good experience.
richard
Microwave was nasty ceiling had chips falling from it
Mary
Quick shuttle ride with short wait. Accommodating staff.
george
The hotel and room were very clean. Right across the highway from the airport and offers a free shuttle. There are no frills and most of the guests are long-term renters. Therefore, you will have a mixture of smells due to multiple units cooking. We stay for a conference that was located at the hotel at the airport. Our do not stay cost less than one night at the airport hotel and only took 3 to 5 minutes to get there good value.
Cynthia
The only, and I do mean only, thing remotely okay about this place is it's close to the airport. That is realistically the nicest thing that can be said for my stay there. I will NEVER stay there again!!
Jessica
I absolutely love the staff and stay often. However, this last time, our room was not very clean. The bed and bathroom was clean but the kitchen had been neglected. There was also a very rancid smell on our floor. It smelled like a dead animal or old cat litter.
Nancy
It was cold in Fort Lauderdale when we stayed there, I get that. However, our room got all the day up to 62° and for the most part it was lower. I understand that Florida hotels are not built for cold weather, but when we asked for the issue to be checked into, we were told that there was nothing they would do because everyone was having that issue. At breakfast the next morning, we talked with about a dozen people. NO ONE had issue with their heat. Everyone reported temps around 70˚. Hotel service like that is exactly why we will not be staying in this hotel again.
Alan
We stayed one night to catch an early morning flight out of McGhee Tyson airport. It was literally 2 mins from the airport. Super nice staff, easy checkin and checkout process. The room was very clean, the hotel was very quiet and the bed was very comfortable. Would definitely stay there again.
Jorge Gutierrez
The attention was always focused on serving

Gary
Clean room, courteous staff. Pleasant stay.
TIMOTHY
Had to switch rooms because of it being dirty and smelly.
Leslie
Quite and close to airport at a great price to stay over day before flight to save time on travel day of flight!
Lavern
The smoke detector battery needed to be replaced, it chirped all night. I got in really late and just wanted some sleep. Also, the toilet's handle needed to be shaken in order for the toilet to stop running. Other than that, everything was great!
Rebecca
Great stay for catching an early flight!
Demond
The staff was good. The hotel smell was horrible to say the least. There was dog crap in the carpet like someone had half cleaned it. My room was not cleaned or provided fresh towels. The place was so nasty, I trashed my new UT Vols slippers I wore in the room because I didn’t want the smell or whatever on the sole being bought into my house.
Ira
Checkin was quick and efficient. Room was clean and neat. The furnishings were very comfortable.
Earron
Nice place to stay.
felicia
Just stayed overnight for early flight. Shuttle picked me up at airport when I dropped off my rental. Took me back to airport in the middle of the night for a 6 am flight. Perfect for my needs.
Joanne
Clean, spacious room.
Cheryl A
Clean and quiet. Across the street from the airport with a shuttle service there and back. The Candlewood Cupboard needs to have a greater selection of frozen meals.
John
When we checked in the keys we were given didn’t work! Had to go back and get them remade! Then when we checked out they couldn’t give us a receipt!!!!!
Seriously poor management at the front desk!!

Everything was good for an one night stay
tim
Front desk and shuttle very nice, professional employees. 5 stars.
Alicia
The hotel had great parking. Check in was easy. Erica was professional and friendly and very helpful. The room was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed including a small kitchen. The wake up call was on time as was our 430 shuttle service. Great place, across from the airport.
Jessica
The room was clean and comfortable but the kitchen drawers were broken. The property has seen better days but it’s definitely worth the price.
Dana
Room was extremely clean & comfortable. My second time there & will stay again in the future.
Anthony
Extremely slow and unprofessional check-in by the staff. Room smelled like smoke. Shower not clean.
SCOTT
Hotel staff was polite...room okay...parking was not good , due to bike week , lots of trailers! With no roo for them. Bathtub was broke on floor, duct taped over....
deborah
There was a huge bug in my room, the bathroom door didn’t close. The kitchen drawer wouldn’t stay closed. It has seen better days. It looked nothing like the pictures.
I had to wait for the clerk to return from picking somebody up and when she came in with the other person, instead of asking me if I was checking in, she checked in the other lady and afterwards asked if I was checking in. She wasn’t friendly or apologetic about over looking me. When I checked out, the morning staff had me waiting also, but she did apologize and was very friendly.

Our dishwasher had caked detergent on bottom. Bathroom fan was not working. These were eventually repaired (after 4 days of notifying staff).
While we appreciated them getting these items fixed, we were there for business & it was not convenient trying to get ready in a steamy bathroom. The manager, Liz? was relentless in trying to get fixed for us, in fact, I think they actually had to take a fan from another room, as they didn't have parts available.

The staff was excellent. They need a better housekeeper or follow up on the person to ensure cleaning is beyond average. The tub to the shower wasn't cleaned. I didn't report it as it was a late check in and I was ready to get in and out. Thankfully I use shower shoes. Also, one of my pillow cases had red hair dye left on it, not from me. Lastly, the elevator floor remained dirty the entire weekend, that's not a good thing.
James Brandon
Needs a total remodel, my room was falling apart on all levels
Donald
Rooms were clean and functional, but upon check-in there were a few trash bags outside one of the rooms in the hallway.
Kelly
Normally I would not comment if only 1-2 issues, but several items (maintenance related mostly) did need addressed... First, on the positive side: room decor was modern & lovely; the bed was very cozy... a bag of trash had been left under the kit sink, along with a drink in the fridge; #2) the glass in bathroom wasn't wrapped and when I inspected it closer, it had obvious residue of having been used; #3) the ice machine in freezer didn't work; #4) the mini microwave smelled like it might be close to catching fire when ran only 1 minute in am to warm coffee; and finally #5) the room I was given was directly across from guest laundry and the noise of the door latching as people accessed the area was somewhat annoying, although I tried to buffer the noise by placing a rolled towel along door base and slept with ear plugs. (I know to request a quieter room location in the future!) *items#1-3 were reported to the front desk attendant upon departure.
Susan
My room was clean, I received quick service when s couple of light bulbs needed to be changed, and the room setup and amenities were unique including a full-size refrigerator, dishwasher, and a 2- burner, smooth top stove on the kitchen area counter. I would stay here again.
Jeff
Nice room.
Rocio
Someone clearly smoked in that room. Room bathroom has nail clippings and hair clippings all over the place. My daughter and I did not shower there as the shower looked disgusting. I asked for another room for my second night which thankfully they did.
Larry
Close to airport and close to restaurants I was previously a part owner.Wendy’s,Applebee’s,and Texas Roadhouse over thel last 47 years.
Linda
Wendy was very sweet and helpful last nigjt, as well as the young man at the desk that made sure I had everything I needed.
Krystle
Very clean, quiet, and comfortable
Kathleen
Staff was extremely kind and friendly. Easy to vavigate through lobby. Room was quiet and felt safe. Definitely would stay here again.
Cassandra
Convenient close to the airport when flight got delayed and canceled
Kathleen
Very convenient location and excellent room!
Barbara
Nice kitchen setup with full size fridge. Nice comfortable bed and pillows.
Samuel
Appreciate that the Hotel put me up at short notice after my flight was canceled. Nice staff. Limited dining options nearby mostly junk food. Hotel should have healthier options on site.

Strange noises
Nice room, loved the kitchenette!
There were strange noises coming from the room above us both nights. Can’t imagine what it was.

The best and I’m a frequent traveler
The room is beautiful and extremely comfortable. I’m positive it’s the cleanest of any hotel, Inn, Suites I’ve ever stayed in. And quit I couldn’t hear the airport which it was close to. I couldn’t hear the people in the rest of the building.
Jeanette
We stay at a lot of Candlewood Suites. When we went to our room the door would not open. The desk clerk had to use her body to push the door open. We asked for a room with a door easier to open and was told this was fine. Inside I had to use my body weight to pull the door open. The next morning I requested maintenance and they attempted to fix it. After a couple of openings and closings it was back to the same issue.
The AC didn't work unless you put it on 60 and hope your room was get to 70 before it kicked off and had to be turned off and on again.
There were other small issues. This Candlewood does not compare to others we have stayed in over the years.
