We never checked in! When we arrived, the facilities did not resemble the nice clean photos that were made available online, in fact we drove by a few times not realizing this was location. We even went back online to confirm the address. After confirming this was our hotel, we proceeded to park at the office to check in. The first thing we saw was a drug deal in progress from one of the rooms. Further down the Eastern end of the hotel, in the last two ground level rooms, on the North side of the building, drug activity was observed. A group of unsavory looking characters were seen doing drugs and walking in and out of those two rooms. We immediately cancelled our reservation online and left. Having to find a last minute hotel. The hotel did take keep the reservation deposit we had made the day earlier. We are now trying to get our money refunded. We identified our concerns to the hotel, hotel.com and Wyndham and they have not been very cooperative, each entity stating that \"sorry\" its not up to them. We do have the emails and phone recordings to prove all this. I would not recommend staying in this location!!! As we were leaving it was apparent that two other vehicles seem to have the same idea as our family, as they promptly left as well. We're hoping hotels.com and Wyndham make the appropriate and ethically correct annotations on their websites. This is a reflection on them as well. Consumer fraud and false advertisement?

First off, although my reservation was for the Super8, they put me in the adjacent property, the Thunderbird Boutique Hotel, with which they are apparently affiliated. Same rate, but the desk clerk at the Super8 said the Thunderbird had just been remodeled.

On the exterior, both places are total dumps. The Super8 had twisted blinds and drawn curtains which had the look of long term residency. Don't know if this was the case. At the Thunderbird, the exterior was equally ill-maintained. The office was a dump. The elevator did not work. There were dried up spills on the walkway -- no cleaning, apparently.

That said, the room itself was really quite nice -- recently remodeled as stated, with \"wood look\" tile floor throughout, no grungy carpet, new furniture and a nice bathroom and decent shower, and microwave and mini-fridge. The only drawback was that the windows had mini-blinds -- no blackout curtains, but since I was leaving in the early morning, that wasn't a problem, since the dawn light woke me up.

It's about 1/3 of a mile north of the Stratosphere, and it's really the border of sketchy-ville. I wouldn't recommend single women walking around that area at night, although there's not much to walk to. The discount ticket was for a restaurant an 8 minute walk away. Drive or Uber to the casino/restaurant of your choice -- there aren't really any within walking distance in any case.

The hotel staff was amazing. My room was clean but had an odor, like it was stuffy, that would not leave even after opening the slider for a couple hours.
The only problems I had were the lack of a refrigerator in the room and the ice machines all being broken.
The coffee pot in the room was not working properly, which the staff fixed immediately. The air conditioner worked great, as well as the TV. The bed was comfortable, and the outside noises were blocked out so I slept soundly.
Really enjoyed my stay at Super 8 by Wyndham.

The price was good. Everything else was a joke. Glorified motel. They don't have any amenities other than a vending machine in the lobby there's no ice machine the coffee room got emptied with absolutely no sugar stickers cups etc. The locks are old so the key cards weren't work. I and myself had to go in and get it at least three different coded cards at different times to get back into our room it should not have the Wyndham name

It was my first time coming to this place. I drove from LA and got here around 1 AM. There were 2 people “working”, but one was in the front and the other was in the back room. I waited in the lobby for about 40 minutes - 1 hour and there were multiple of us waiting around. I didn’t even get to check in and decided to look for somewhere else to stay and I understand it’s non-refundable but having to still pay for a room I didn’t even get to stay in or check in for is ridiculous.

The property is bare bones and not in a great neighborhood. The first floor rooms are a motel (doors open to the outdoors, not an internal hallway). We received a different room (smaller bed) than what we had booked and were not able to get it changed.

After making my reservation well in advance, and even being in contact with the hotel 6 hours in advance, I was forced to stay at their SISTER hotel next door, a dump. Homeless living around the pool, and in parking lot. Gates closed limiting entrance/exit. Pull out bed had large STAIN right in the middle

The room I stayed in did have a heater and a AC. It also had a fridge but I think that was just because i stayed a while. The shower water pressure was bad so I would stay away if you desire strong water pressure

This Super 8 by Wyndham Las Vegas is a great location and it's right by a bus stop to go to the strip and other parts of Las Vegas. And I liked getting a coupon to a great pizza restaurant Albo Pizza that's just right down the block from the hotel.

Floors dirty, inadequate quantity and condition of electrical outlets (loose), outlet on bed headboard wall located improperly resulting in poor quality of that outlet as over time, having the mattress shoved up to it has ruined the outlet- and it was the ONLY outlet where I could plug in my CPAP machine so…
Lamps were aging and had no USB or power outlets integrated into the lamp base. I understand it’s Las Vegas but it was very noisy outside until the early morning hours as younger guests returned from their activities. Width of driving aisle to access parking spots was very very narrow, parking my long-bed pickup truck meant that cars driving by between the back end of the parked vehicles and the face of the building next door faced very tight clearance. I should have spotted that before booking…

There were a few decent restaurants within walking distance, so that was good. AC worked great. Water in the shower was hot and had great pressure but the bathtub had no anti-slip provisions. As an older gentleman, the risk of a bathtub slip and fall injury was a real concern for me.

If you’re looking for an inexpensive stay in LV and aren’t concerned about my points above, it’s an economical choice.

All of these negative items could be addressed by owner/management for a modest expenditure. Parking on the other hand? Not so easy to address…

I had a pleasant stay at Fremont Super 8 Hotel. The hotel was nice and comfortable, and it was very convenient for my needs. The staff was friendly, and the location made it easy to get around. Overall, a good choice for a comfortable and convenient stay.- Just dont get too much ice- the girls will turn the power off to the machine if the think you should not be using it-

I am disabled and there were no ramps available near the room. The room on the outside did not accommodate for wheelchair use. There was no bathroom door and I shared a room with a family member because I sometimes fall. I was supposed to be there 2 nights had paid for both nights but left a day early. Would not recommend if disabled.

Check-in is a long process, they copy everyone’s IDs. Charge an extra $11. Rooms are fine. Bathrooms are fine. Not 100% clean. Beds are loud, uncomfortable and on wheels. Walls are thin. A dog next door barked and howled all night. Can hear nearby TVs. Front desk employee was courteous and efficient.

They didn’t clean my room for six days when I asked them every day, open rooms all around me that homeless went into parting throughout the night. Construction going on everywhere, combative and aggressive staff and construction crew.

I was professional and kind even though I was not treated that way in return. Mary was nice, but she retired yesterday, so good luck with that, I was told a manager would call, they never did, I drove to Golden Gaming’s Corporate Office yesterday and was assured a call back, didn’t happen, hence this review.

It’s in downtown. Had a hard time finding the office and the front desk staff got frustrated on the phone. This place is busy. Cheap and nice place to sleep and rest if you will be out and about at the strip all day.

First off no pool, photo of a pool...but no pool. No bar fridge either even with the upgrade I purchased. Had an issue not being able to pay for late checkout. Weren't even able to move me to another room to help with my 11:30pm flight. There you have it for $100 Canadian a night. No resort fees though! 24 dispensery is down the road so that was a plus too.

The check in office smelled dirty and like fecies. Staff member, Cheyenne, doing check in was very professional as she had lots of people trying to check in but majority could not pay the deposit fee and tried to blame her for it but she did not buckle. She smiled and kept her cool. My room did not have the new hotel clean smell and my sheets smelled like a dog previously stayed in this bed and they didn’t wash the bed sheets and linen and just made the bed for the next customer. I am writing this review while laying in bed and I hope I do not wake up in hives as I am allergic to animal dander. I understand this is a smoke free hotel but it smells like smoke has been living in every inch of the property.
