Great room in the Mara Tower I had an amazing view of the Vegas Tower. The room was very comfortable, quiet, nice bathroom, comfortable bed, no complaints. I stayed three nights on a business trip. The hotel bars are great. They stay open until 4am and 24 hours and have amazing cocktails and very lively. The new Maroon restaurant Caribbean steakhouse is fantastic

Would have been nice to have a second night stand and for the sliding mirror doors to slide all the way both sides.the elevator to the monorail was very sketchy, and the elevator to the Blanca tower were small and in rough shape. Overall, nice property, clean, and felt safe.

Was able to check in early. Rooms were clean and well stocked. Had a mini fridge but no microwave. The pool is small and a bit of a walk in your swim suit from the entrance to the elevator tower. They do have bands playing from until 1am on the weekends in the summer, so try to get a room in the Blanca tower if you want less vibration/noise. The East parking lot is the best parking for the hotel entrance, however, it is small and fills up fast.

The Sahara was great, a bit far from the heart of the strip but the monorail was so close that it wasn’t a problem. My only complaint was that the restroom doors did not completely close. The room would have been perfect with better restroom doors.

I booked the Sahara based on the reviews and ratings I read on Expedia. Sadly, a lot of reviews I cannot agree with.

1. The Hotel is nice, but not great or excellent by any means. It is nice. They could do better with cleaning the curtains in the room and in the lobby. The hallways could be vacuumed more often. I stayed there for 3 days and walked down the same dirty hallway that had trash on the floor that was passed up by 4 housekeeping crews that were present.
2. The restaurants need work. The food is just ok, with the exception of the honey-butter pancakes at the Zeffer's. The Noodle Den needs to work on their noodles! They are overworked, pasty and the dishes were sloppy.
3. The signature bar, Casbar, could not get an Old Fashioned right. I don't know of any recipe that calls for their generous helping of cheap candied cherry syrup in the drink. It tasted like maraschino cherry syrup and bourbon. This happened at two separate bars.
4. The lack of free pool seating was a scam. There was ample room for additional free lounge chairs, but they were pushing the $300 daybed rentals, which were all open. Not to mention their pools were one of the smallest I've seen in a Vegas resort.
5. Finally the room. It was not decorated like in the pictures. In fact there was a huge lack in decor. The walls were entirely bare. Just white paint, a tiny window and dirty curtains. The bathroom was nice, but that only gets you so far.
Not staying here again.

Rooms are assigned when you arrive if you book thru a third party (Hotels.com), booked a king bed, got a double bed in a room so small they have to place the beds up againt the wall. Room had not been properly cleaned, there was still trash on the floor.

If you booked thru a third party they also put you up in the old tower (Blanco) which has not been renovated, so expect old carpet, obviously smells old (the whole tower does).

Lesson: book directly if you want you reservation guaranteed.

The Sahara was nice. The Bella Italian Soul had good service and great food! The atmosphere at the Sahara is very nice. The rooms are interesting. Didn't receive housekeeping or any housekeeper around to provide any amenities, if needed.
Hard pressed to get beverage service if gambling.

It had been years since i had gone to Vegas, and the sahara was a great way of coming back and enjoying our stay. a big plus was having the monorail being so close to us and getting connected to other hotels, loved our room and the pool was pretty awesome! we plan on returning in june again.

Recently stayed at the SAHARA Las Vegas and overall had a great experience. The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful, especially when it came to adding an extra day to my stay with no issues.

The food was definitely one of the highlights. Zeffer's Café had amazing breakfast every morning, and Uno Más Street Tacos + Spirits did not disappoint either — the carne asada tacos were excellent and the drinks were strong just how I like them.

I also enjoyed the pool area, although I do wish it was a little bigger and stayed open later since it closes pretty early. Other than that, I had a really good stay and would definitely consider coming back.

The hotel has a decent ambience and a good overall vibe. Food and service were both satisfactory and enjoyable during my stay.

However, my experience was seriously impacted by hygiene-related concerns. I developed multiple painful insect bites during my stay, which made the experience extremely uncomfortable and disappointing.

I reported the issue, but the response was not helpful or satisfactory, and no resolution was offered.

Due to this experience, I would not stay here again and would choose other hotels on the Strip instead. As a frequent traveler, this was a very disappointing stay overall.

Never again! The room smelled of chemical cleaners. When I asked if they had a fragrance free room I was told no. The staff at the bell desk were completely disinterested when I asked questions of activities. The decor is is VERY 1970's, and I dont mean that in a good way. They charged a $60 daily resort fee that they would not waive despite not using any resort activities. Do yourself a favor and stay somewhere else!

The hell tall is fantastic just recently undergone a renovation the front desk staff the security team. All the waiters in Witcher is the cleaning staff everybody’s perfect but at the pool it’s a whole different vibe you feel like they are watching you 100% of the time I don’t mean in the pool, obviously that’s a given, but it’s like they are very strict and mean they’re not friendly at all. It just doesn’t feel like it’s a part of the hotel. It’s hard to explain they’re just not friendly at the pool at all.

The staff at this hotel have no idea what’s going on.

I booked through Expedia and got a message from the hotel to reply if I had any questions or needed anything at all. I replied on the first day telling them I was delayed on my travel and would arrive the second day. When I arrived the second day, the front desk woman told me my reservation was cancelled. She said I didn’t show up the first night and didn’t give notice. When I told her I messaged and they just didn’t check it, she just said my reservation was re-instated and I was good to go.

It was 4:30 when I was checking in, I asked how to get to the pool. The hotel website says pool hours are 9am-6pm May to September and 10am-5pm March to April. It is currently May. She said it closes at 5 but I can go tomorrow at 10. I told her the website says it’s 9-6 starting in May. She said “I just told you it closes at 5.”

I found the pool on my own and it did in fact close at 6 so I was happy to use it. Pool was clean and staff there were kind and helpful.

The room was so dirty. It had a smell like it had not had air circulating in months, the carpets were dirty and visibly stained, bedding stained, bathroom taps not cleaned with visible buildup. Property is in serious need of updates or at least cleaning.

Conclusion: this hotel is on the lower end of the price range in Vegas and it clearly shows why.

I was only in Vegas overnight. So, I stayed in one of rooms that Sahara chooses for you upon your arrival. That'll be the last time I do that. I've stayed at the Sahara plentyyy of times, & I've never been displeased with a room. However, I didn't like this one. It wasn't aesthetically pleasing, bathroom was built weird, the shower had a step that I hit my toe on. I just didn't like it. Next time, I'LL choose my own room no matter how long I'm in Vegas.

The rooms are generally well kept, although this time around we were given a smaller room :/. The bars and restaurants haven’t disappointed thus far, and the pool adds some extra fun.

I signed up for infinity rewards but was denied because I didn't book directly with the hotel. In the pool area, there is no place to sit with your family unless you book seating. Also, this is a pet free hotel unless it's a service dog. I needed to dog sit for my son, after he got married. So never staying there again.

Everything worked, everything was clean, the staff was attentive despite there being multiple events on-site during my stay. Everything outside of happy hour deals is a bit expensive, but at least you get consistently good quality food and drinks. Somewhat mixed wifi/wireless signal through the resort, but the Sahara is one of the few vegas resort hotels that offers free wireless for guests and free parking. Funny enough, one of the only complaint I shared with other patrons was about the slow elevators, which feels like a very small thing on the whole. Didn't see Magic Mike personally, but met some very lovely bridal parties that highly recommended it, haha. I enjoyed my time at the pool, with a bacchanalian amount of giant screens and shady foot-soaking daybeds.

It was quite a disappointing trip to Sahara. We specifically picked Sahara hotel because the advertised they here newly renovated gym and referred to as as the state of art fitness facility. When we try to use the gym we found out that the gym was completely closed and the message given to us by the staff was at this gym is closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. They also mentioned that there is another gym in the other tower that we could visit so after figuring out how we could actually enter the other elevator using a different card and spending about 30 minutes debating with the front desk staff about this issue we were able to go to the gym just to find out the gym was completely rundown with lots of broken equipment out of eight treadmills only two of them are functional. The rowing machine was completely broken. The cable machines two out of three were broken with the cable being snapped. The benches were broken at the head, rest section or on the torso area. There was a lack of adequate amount of weights. The wipes were not refilled and many more issues basically that Jim was not useful not to mention that we paid extra to stay at the Alexandria Tower for their so-called newly renovated gym and we ended up having to go to another tower for the gym that was not even have functional

Great place to stay as it was on the strip but not too close to all the major resorts. It was in a less busy area of the strip. Also of note, the local bus route was nearby as well as the monorail right from the hotel.

Hotel was great, the pool was great however get there early to secure a chaise lounge chair.

The only issue we had was that a couple of elevators were not working to going to certain floors causing a bit of bottleneck but that would not stop me from going back to the hotel as overall it was a great choice. Hopefully the elevator issue has been resolved.

All the staff were super friendly too.

I checked in late and did not inspect the bedsheets upon arrival, as I trusted they would meet the expected cleanliness standards for a hotel of this category, especially since they were covered by a comforter. Unfortunately, the following morning I discovered multiple blood stains on the sheets. This was very disappointing, and I reported the issue to the front desk to provide feedback on housekeeping standards.
