My stay was excellent in every respect except one. There is no security for guests entering the building, lifts or corridors. There is a route in which bypasses reception and is open 24 hours. This was a background concern, otherwise excellent value for money, location, cleanliness, facilities, friendly staff.

I was very pleasantly surprised with my stay at Pebbles Hotel. I think the price and quality ratio is amazing. Given I paid fairly cheap, I did expect very basic things, but it certainly overdeliver. The apartment size was great, it was clean, the staff were lovely and helpful. Also the gym (with I forgot it had as I booked awhile ago) is almost better than the gym I go to at home :D

We had a long stay and we enjoyed it so much. The staff are very helpful. You can have your room cleaned daily if you wish with clean towels everyday and bed linen changed regularly. Everything is at your doorstep, so convenient to everything. Ferry, buses, tours, food , shopping etc etc. We had a Sea View studio. It was everything we hoped for and more.

Staff were lovely and friendly. The apartment we were in was very well appointed with great views across the water to Valletta. The hotel is very centrally located in Sliema, which is great for boat trips and the ferry to Valletta, but it is also very busy, with bars underneath. It was very loud on our first night until well after midnight, but that was a Saturday night. The following nights were not a problem, but bear it in mind if you are a light sleeper and not out partying!

View from balcony is great and u can spend hours.
Only minor points are: entrance on ground floor is difficult to find initially as this is within the restaurant extension downstairs. Also there are loud music past midnight, which looks like a norm here. So if u stay in 2/3rd floor u might have problem sleeping early.

Room 302 had a great view of the sea. My first and second cup of coffee each morning was enjoyed watching the sea. Unfortunately the sea became rather wicked for five days of my stay (Storm Hilios occured). But no one can control the weather!

So I have booked a week at the Pebbles.....but might have to extend my stay. All the things that make a good life are right her in Malta. My apartment has a lovely balcony that overlooks the sea. Coffee in the morning with the sun shinning on my face....beer at night with the moon. Life is good!

The elevator breaks down 2 a day, the toilets have issues with the basin, the shower was not working, only 1 of 3 AC was working ok...it has seen better days for sure.

Really surprising. We had a balcony double room and due to reviews about the noise from the bar below I asked if it was possible to have a quieter room and they granted it. No sea views as lateral part of the building but no noise from the bar. Happy with that. The room was quite large and comfy. The shower was amazing. And the best part is that they give you passes to go to a private swimming pool about 15 mins away walking. The location is good, many buses pass near the hotel and area so easy to get into Valetta and other parts of the island. Many restaurants and mini market at hand. Staff were very friendly and kind. Only con it would be that the bed was really two twin beds together and one of the mattresses was softer than we’d like it, but just personal preference not really an issue. There was a iron and iron board available in the room and for the hairdryer you need to get it from reception and leave a deposit. I’d rather had a built-in/wall hairdryer but again, not a massive issue. There is a small fridge and an iron with an ironing board built-in a drawer, very useful. I can definitely recommend the place. We didn’t have a car so can’t comment on parking.

We had a 2 bed apt with a superb sea view. It was huge and very comfortable. Everything worked and the service was good. People have mentioned the noise from the restaurants on the ground floor and also from the traffic but we didn't find it a problem and in any event you don't go to Sliema for peace and quiet.

We were delighted with the spacious accommodation it even had a washing machine !! We were on the sixth floor so the noise from the bars could be heard but wasn’t too bad. Would definitely recommend if a heavy sleeper!! The staff were very helpful. We would return to this accommodation!!

Spent 1 week in a 2 bedroom sea view apartment, very spacious and everything you would need for a great stay large fridge freezer, washer, dishwasher, iron & board,€20 returnable deposit for hairdryer, fabulous harbour sea view is amazing to wake up to with a coffee on balcony .Roof top jacuzzi although really small area, not enough loungers for many people, decent gym. Location is great as many restaurants/ cafes/ bars / shopping/ ferries/ buses all within steps of the property,although this comes with one snag, very noisy into early hours with bars below the property loud music and lots of people enjoying themselves although this did not bother me it might if you want peace and quiet.

Room was great (essentially a small studio apartment). Location very good: all you have to do is cross the road and you have lots of tour boats (as well as the ferry to La Valletta) Spinola Bay is a 15 minute walk away. Staff were great: there was a small issue with the air con when I arrived on Friday evening - realising it would not be solved during the weekend, they moved me to another room (an upgrade in fact, I suspect). Thanks.

i had a room with a balcony overlooking the marina and water. thats always a big plus for me. the room was clean and nicely done. the interent was ery weak and didnt work for the floor i was on but they were working on that. the location is excellent and nearby to the boat tours and scooter rentals and good restaurants. not just close ... like right downstairs out the door are several good places to eat. the electric outlets are the type you see in the middle east ... not the two prong type in most of europe. the housekeeping was good and the staff was excellent. to be honest one of the best reception desks ive had to deal with. the staff there are very friendly and helpful. the shower was weak and water pressure low which for many wouldnt be an issue but as i am 6'1 240 the water only being inches from the wall was less than ideal. but if the internet and shower pressure are the worst of your day ... how bad is it really? the room was very affordable and quiet even with the nightclubs on the ground level but then i was on the 5th floor. one last thing, the address is 88 on the strand so if you use bolt or wolt for food deliveries you will have to put that in your description too since the automap says like 96 or something. several door down. and the pebbles entry is a small hidden and not so obvious entrance.

This Hotel was fabulous. Location was amazing, right by the harbour which was great for doing excursions and also lovely to just wander and get a drink on a chill day. Staff were so helpful and friendly, room was great and very clean. First time away since COVID ado was nervous but no need as staff were cleaning touch points regularly, wearing masks, hand gel etc. You can also go to a beach club as part of Pebbles which was also absolutely brilliant. Dip in the sea or pool, great food and staff. Would definitely stay in Pebbles again. Thanks so much for making our first trip after COVID so great 😀

Stayed in a studio apartment with sea view. Sparkling clean with all the facilties inside that we needed, fridge-freezer, toaster and microwave. Breakfast on the balcony in the mornings was amazing overlooking the harbour. Only negatives were the pool for guests at pebbles located in med Asia next door was closed and was one of the reasons we booked the accomodation. Only English channels on TV was the news and 80s music. Staff on reception so friendly and helpful couldn't be faulted. Room cleaned everyday. We stayed in apartment 502 and were not distrusted by the noise from bars downstairs which always seem very busy.

Location was great facing sea and ferry. Bus stop outside and you can go any where on the Island. Great gym, small but modern. Cleaning of room and towels toiletries was good. We had a studio with a balcony. Cosy room with an oven. Could do with a microwave. The pool at the Med Asia was closed 1 November which I find strange as the weather is good. Would stay again at Pebbles.

Absolutely brilliant hotel with magnificent harbour view, but, you compromise for the noise of the street and the loud music from the TexMex bar below. Apparently at the back it's much quieter but no view. t

Really good location. Near to all of the main restaurants and shops in Sliema. Across the road from the hotel you can get any of the Gozo/Comino cruises and can also catch the ferry across to Valletta for only €2.80 return. Really glad we did not book a balcony room, they would provide an excellent sea-view, however the restaurants/bars below are noisy on a weekend and perhaps throughout the week in peak season. As we had a side view room we heard no noise at all, but imagine those at the front may be exposed to it.
The hotel room itself was very modern with new fixtures and fittings. Comfy memory-foam bed. There was a safe to use and a decent sized fridge. There were also tea and coffee making facilities. The room comes with an iron and ironing board however you have to provide reception with €20 deposit to rent a hairdryer, which you get back on return, which we found a little odd since the room came with an iron which we thought was less of a necessity. There is a decent sized gym and also a roof terrace with a jacuzzi however we did not use these facilities with only staying 3 nights and it being out of season for sunbathing. Our bathroom cupboard was hanging from one hinge when we arrived but a quick call to reception and they sent maintenance up immediately. We also had an issue with the emergency lighting switching itself on and off and illuminating the room while trying to sleep. But overall we would recommended this hotel for its location, price and amenities.

The second room was more of a standard room which had a double bed, wardrobe & chest of drawers. There was a second bathroom located in the hall which had a shower and toilet. There was a cooker, washing machine, fridge freezer, microwave, 4 seater table, a 3 seater & 2 seater and spacious balcony.
The location is amazing. I will say though that you need to enter the hotel through the MedAsia restaurant & at night time there is some noise from the street below (it's on the strip) but I didnt find it disturbed my sleep at all. There are TONS of places to eat near by catering for all sorts of culinary tastes. You must try patizzi if you are here - there are places that sell it for 50c and it was pretty good and filling. For those from the UK there's matalan and Marks & Spencer but if you walk past these for another 10 - 15 mins you will come to \"The Point\" shopping centre which has great views & a local supermarket which is reasonable priced.

Hoever nternet was hit and miss, no proper shower in ensuite bathroom, had to pay a deposit for the hair dryer and the washing machine was impossible to start. the room itself was updated but the bed was like sleeping on a rock. The bathroom was completely outdated and smelled. The balcony was less then desirable with chipping paint. The food was buffet was decent. Probably the best part of the stay. The pool grounds are disgusting. The beach is nice but the part with the sand is very small...other areas are rock beach but literally right in the water. This hotel has so much potential but needs a MAJOR RENOVATION. Location is great to the ferry to Gozo

Excellent location (on the harbour front, great for buses and ferries), great views of the harbour if you get the right room, very clean, friendly and efficient customer service. The showers could use some updating and the water pressure on some days was poor, but neither of these things ruined our stay.

We had no electricity for 4 hours - we sat in the dark with no air con. We could not make dinner so had to go out for dinner. The problem was fixed by a very kind and helpful receptionist but this was not her job to do as she is not an electrician.
We checked out at 3.30am in the morning. We wanted to wait in the reception area for our airport transfer but the receptionist (different from the kind one mentioned above) told us to wait out on the street. I was with my mum (aged 66 and has mobility problems) and my niece (aged 10). We did not feel safe so I advised them to sit on the stairs but they were then shouted at by another guest and ordered to get off the stairs. When I asked the guest to stop shouting at my mum she starting shouting and swearing at me. The receptionist was present the whole time but did not do anything. When I asked him why he did not ask the guest to stop being abusive he just shrugged his shoulders. I asked him again and he got angry with my and walked back into the hotel. Our transfer was late so my mum, niece and I were out on the street for about an hour. We felt very unsafe. This was all avoidable as we should have been allowed to wait in the reception for our airport transfer.

The hotel is in a great location with a view of Valletta (if you are lucky enough to get a room on the right side, which we weren’t) and is very close to local shops, restaurants and bus stops heading in either direction. The room had very comfortable beds, very effective air conditioning and a fridge. There is also a gym on site. The staff were friendly and accommodating, however certain aspects of the room needed a bit of TLC- wallpaper was peeling off and and some superficial cracks were visible in the wall- nothing major. We would definitely recommend.

The location is great but our room was above a nightclub and it was impossible to sleep. The first night we were there the music stopped at 4.00am then we had to listen to the noise of the staff cleaning up. Same for the next three nights with the noise ending a little earlier. Hotel staff were great and tried their best but the noise was unacceptable.
