Highly recommended. Very friendly staff. Room is very modern , clean and spaces. Very good location . About 10mins Uber to Valletta and 25mins uber to Mdina. 15-20mins to airport depending on the traffic. 10 mins walk to the ferry to Valletta ( €3 pp) . Plenty of good restaurants and happy hours for drinks around the area.

Great location, close to promenade, walking distance to Valletta ferry, heaps of restaurants and cafes nearby.
Room was functional, including fridge which was actually cold - so hard to get in a hotel room!
Breakfast was basic but plentiful, staff friendly. Parking nearby is an issue (the hotel shares a carpark with a sister hotel, but it was full, so we had to take our chances on the street.
Wi-fi in room was good. Recommended.

The hotel has only recently been refurbished so everything is new. All I hope is that they maintain the new fittings as it looks great now.

Breakfast was good and plentiful so no complaints there.

Location is great, right next to Ponsonby bus stop which is served by the TD13 airport bus. No need for expensive transfers as it is €3 each and as quick as a taxi.

Overall a great stay, would happily go back.

The hotel is in an excellent location. Loads of bars, shops and restaurants nearby, beautiful harbour view from some rooms, and very close to many buses and ferries to Valletta.
The hotel is new, and has great amenities, particularly great shower and is very clean.
The best thing about the hotel though is the staff. I stayed nearly 2 weeks there and felt like some of them were old friends by the time i left. Particular mentions go to Naran who cleaned my room so well, to Niko on reception, always smiling and helpful, and Patricia the manager who not only sorted out a small problem with my initial room which was caused by a lack of clear description of the room by Expedia, but she also remembered it was my birthday mid stay, and even had a happy birthday balloon on my bed when i returned in the evening. Such a lovely touch.
Thanks to all there. Top marks to everyone.

On the 13th floor w spectacular view of the marina from a large patio. The room was very clean and bed quite comfortable. The pool and loungers on the 14th floor was beautiful with the kindest bartender and great view. Location is perfect for transit access- ferry, bus and Bolt (their Uber). The staff was so pleasant. Breakfast was good. Tip: the convenience store across the street with stock you up with anything you need. Get yourself bottled water as the hotel does not sell it aside from at the pool deck.
I really enjoyed my 5 night stay and would recommend it to anyone.

Room was very clean, although we did not have a view from our room, though it did the job as it is in an ideal location just off the strand near hundreds of restaurants and the marina. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful, breakfast buffet was great. View from the rooftop pool area was amazing.

The hotel was very clean and comfortable, the breakfast was very good. It was set back from the busy road which was good as no traffic noise could be heard at night. It was in a central location with plenty of eating places nearby and just a 10 minute walk to the ferry crossing for Valetta. I would definitely recommend staying here when visiting Malta.

We got transferred from the newer, better-rated hotel (Alavits) to an older, lower-rated ST hotel nearby (Bayview), apparently as the air-conditioning wasn’t working in our room. However, from our new room, we could see the Alavits hotel and saw guests checking in to the corner junior suite we had asked to be allocated to celebrate a milestone birthday. We should have got a partial refund as Bayview is older and cheaper to book than Alavits. While we still had a large terrace, it was lower in height than the other hotel, and, although closer to the water, it had less privacy as people from the pool could see us. The pool facilities were not great and did not seem very clean. We used the spa inside; it had broken tiles, black things floating in the water, and mould/algae on the tiles at the water level. The room was very small, and the sun/heat stopped us from using the terrace for most of the day, so we felt confined. We had incredibly noisy guests next door to us, who brought other people onto their balcony, singing and shouting loudly after the 11pm noise curfew. We were so tired after travelling the first night, we didn't have the energy to make a complaint, but the noise continued, so after making a complaint the next night, the hotel informed us of their one strike policy. Thankfully, the guests took notice and our final night was much better and quieter. The breakfast was adequate, but best to go early. The juice didn't taste right (syrup?). Very walkable to locations.

Hotel is a great location, and easy walking and ferry access to the sites.

Room was spacious and quiet and breakfast had a great selection.

Car park is at sister hotel in basement, and approx 5 min walk, and very safe to leave car.

Checking a bit slow, but other from that would stay here again.

Good breakfast spread.

Nice pool and terrace, but not enough sun coverage.

Good family room with 4 beds, but there is a lack of hooks on the walls that have nothing on them, as well as no counter space in the bathroom.

As the balconies are interior, people smoke on them, and the smell comes into the room through the door that doesn't close 100%, which was a nuisance.

All in all a great option!

Walking distance to everything you could need.

Lovely hotel situated just a few minutes walk from restaurants and bars spread across the bay into Sliema. Side sea view from our room on 10th floor. Pool with great views out to Valletta on the 14th floor - pool is quite small and is only suitable for cooling off rather than swimming - the bubble section of the pool was great though for relaxing. The hotel provide towels to use by the pool, but there arent always some available on the stand. Pool bar is not open for long during the day, no timings advertised anywhere for it.
Sadly there is only 1 hook in the bathroom, but none elsewhere which wasnt ideal. No where to hang wet towels or swimwear, nor did it have a washing line like in most hotels.
Breakfast was just your average choice as in any hotel. Staff were super attentive and helpful throughout our stay. Always someone to greet you when entering or exiting the lobby. Overall we had a great stay, value for money was fantastic and we would stay here again if we come back to Malta.

The hotel was ideally located just off the main road , so never kept awake . The breakfast was really well presented with lots of options and always well stocked .Room was very clean and bed extremely comfortable. Staff were friendly and knowledgeable especially the Manager Dragana , couldn't do enough for us . Such a lovely lady

Good value for money

Value for money

Value for money. It was clean, breakfast which was included was very good and it is about 10 minutes away by walk from Silema ferry terminal.

The hop on hop off bus also picks up from right across the road. Even the resgular bus stop is at the same place. Lots of places close by open for dinner and drinks at night.

We did have some issues with the iseemalta hop on hop off bookings, but after a lot of back and forth we got that resolved as well.

We had one unclean towel in our bathroom but it did not matter too much.

Excellent stay

We stayed for 2 weeks and were very pleased. An excellent choice for a reasonable price in a very convenient location. The only small annoyance was the timing of the room cleaning.
I understand that the priority is to get the rooms ready for the new arrivals and in fairness, we were told this when we arrived? However it would’ve been helpful to have a rough idea as I need a rest in the afternoon.
Most people are out during the day so may not be an issue for them Staff very friendly and helpful.

The room was ok, functional and clean enough. Bed was comfortable and the wardrobe essential but well organized. Breakfast is ok, nothing crazy but in line with expectations.

Staying for four nights I did not like:
- we never had the towels changed, having them quite wet in the last two days;
- the AC had a sensor which automatically turns it off, which is not great during the the night cause you can wake up quite warm;

Furthermore in general is a pity that the pool bar closes at 6 pm not giving possibility to a nice pre-dinner drink by the pool in the roof.

Housekeeping lets this hotel down ….

The hotel itself was nice, reception staff were friendly and helpful, location is good and breakfast ok, however house keeping left a lot to be desired. When we arrived the towels in our room were dirty and one had a blood stain on it. On the second day our room was not serviced at all and we had to ask reception for towels the next morning. Later in the week we were left no hand towels at all. Apart from the housekeeping issue and having to beg for towels we had a nice stay but this is a budget standard hotel. Beware if you are offered a courtyard view, we booked this room but there was no view at all apart from the opposite rooms which were very close. There was a balcony but not much point in it unless you want to peer into the rooms around you.

Nice Staying

Our staying was very good. The cleanliness was perfect but the cleaning stuff was too short. Every day cleaning at about 18:00 o'clock in the afternoon.

Need also upgrade at the terrace. A Bar or a kitchen to serve food at night.

Very good, but the A/C in the room wouldn't allow any thing higher than 20C which is far too cold in a hot climate and spoiled our sleep.
Bathroom mirror was missing.
Breakfast was excellent.
Roof top pool looked fun, though the bar was shut.

Bed and bedding excellent. Lovely and quiet and after all my stays finally realised how the smart tv worked!

The property is a modern a well located hotel, to discover the area. We found our room on the 10th floor very noisy. You can hear doors slamming all day and night, people chatting outside in the corridor and the lift ‘pinging’. The bed was not comfortable at all. The bottom sheet didn’t fit and throughout the night we kept having to tuck it in. It was almost too small for the bed. Also I noticed no mattress protection or pillow protection. The air conditioning was turned off and we were very hot especially at night. We could open the balcony doors but it was too noisy. No sunlight on the balcony at any time of the day. No storage in the bathroom. No glasses in the room. No drinking water bottles. Thin towels sometimes marked. Swimming pool and pool bar shut. Although we did pull at some sun loungers and make the most of relaxing in the sun. Breakfast is basic but what food there is tastes acceptable. We asked for GF bread and this was available. I wouldn’t stay here again and feel I am leaving more tired than when I arrived.

The receptionist, Ivana, was extremely accommodating and helpful. However, the male staff member at the front desk during the night shift was impolite and discourteous, showing no initiative in attending to guests. We raised a concern about the shower knob to the front desk, but it was only addressed on the third day after we informed Ivana. The location of the hotel is convenient for tourists.

Beautiful hotel built in 2023 ! Hotel has a modern appeal , nice sized bedrooms, beautiful balconies, lovely rooftop views and pool but seasonally closed ! Breakfast is free and has lots of options!Hotel is close to marina and tons of restaurants along the way !airport is only 12 mins way and cost 12 dollars with UBER ! Hotel staff members are super sweet especially front desk staff and my room attendant daisy who did an excellent job with housekeeping!I visited in January 2024 but Will definitely be back for the summertime to enjoy the lovely beaches and surroundings! Will choose Alavits hotel again it’s conveniently located and exceeded my expectations!

Amazing value for money!

Absolutely brilliant stay! We were able to check in early which was amazing! Room was clean, spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was tasty and plenty to choose from. Location of the hotel is great, very close to promenade, restaurants and public transport. I would highly recommend it, I'll be back.

Suggests hotel was \"fully open\" and website states pool bar and evening dining available - neither was the case. Particularly peeved that the pool area is closed off in the evening (and presumably wouldn't be if the bar were open), and could therefore not use roof for any of the festival watching! Also caters for groups (of youngsters) so some noise should be exoected!

The hotel had just opened a couple of days before which was evident as one of the lights in our bathroom was still dangling from the ceiling - not particularly safe in a room where you're using water but I'd hope it will be fixed soon.

Sadly we were forced to cut our holiday short within hours of arriving, due to a death in our family. Despite our pleas and the support of Expedia, the hotel have refused to refund a penny, instead repeatedly referring us to the terms in curt emails. Even a 'sorry for your loss' was evidently too much to ask for.

To Alex Jaswal, enjoy your bonus while I'm trying to comfort my heartbroken wife at her dad's funeral. I can only hope others never have to deal with you.

Grand opening stay

This hotel opened on Jun 15th and still had workers completing things and fixing one of two elevators, but the staff was very nice and helpful. I feel that the hotel should have been completely ready before opening…I arrived very tired and wanting to nap, and had to ask for a curtain in my room and the phone didn’t work.

Overall, comfortable stay; but the positioning of the air condition blows directly on you in bed. Breakfast was ok, glad they had gluten free bread option. The coffee from the machine was not good and they can’t froth non-dairy milk for you.

In time I’m sure they will have everything worked out! There are rooms with partial sea view from the balcony. Great location in Sliema. Close walk to Starbucks, the ferry, and F45 gym.

Do not book - Hotel does not exist yet

Terrible terrible stay, or lack of. The hotel was not close to completion, they bait and switched us to a much older and lower grade hotel that they own, they would say it's an \"upgrade\" and how the other hotel is even better yet it was old, and moldy and also has a silly sensor that cuts off the AC when there is no movement, so expect no AC when you sleep. Do not fall for this.

The hotel is centrally located in relation to bus connections to the rest of the island and from our room for the 13th floor. Was a beautiful view over the bay.
The ventilation system in the bathroom and room needed to be cleaned, the room and bathroom had a bad smell.

The breakfast buffet had a great selection and it looked fresh if you ate kl. 7.30 but often when we came kl. 9.30 the food was bland, dried out and half cold.

When we arrived the toilet board was cracked, this was quickly changed.
