Good hotel/ guest house in the Sliema area. We stayed in a superior double room in the Annex with a large bed, two closets, desk, mini-fridge and TV. Clean room. Good buffet breakfast with pastries, eggs, meat, cheese, cereal, juice and coffee/tea. Generally quiet. Extra towels for the pool and/or beach are provided upon request. Courteous nice staff!
As others have mentioned, the shower floor and glass wall in the Annex room are too short. Thus water goes out onto the wood floor. We just put a small towel down at the end of the shower pan and tried to direct the water away from the end.
10-15 walk up on a busy street from the Sliema ferry (to Valletta), tour boat cruises, and main bus stops. A 10 min walk in the other direction takes you to Balluta beach and bus stops.
A good value in the Sliema area for a nice room with breakfast included.

Trevligt litet hotell som ligger högt upp i Sliema. Rena rum, tråkig frukost. Litet rum utan balkong vilket gjorde att det kändes trångt och instängt. Man behövde dessutom gå genom restaurangen för att komma till rummet vilket kändes olustigt.

Coffee wasnt the greatest and they dont really do tea. There are only 2 tea options.

They book us into a wheelchair friendly room which we didnt need. Great room if someone needs that access.
Room was facing the busy part of the street abd the cop shop.
Aircon is pretty noisy and made it a bit tricky to sleep.
Had a mini fridge which was great but no kettle or coffee machine if you want have an early or late cuppa after breakfast hours.

Pool location was as pretty standard or vanilla. Nothing like in the photos online, whichbwas a bit disappointing.

Hotel staff were excellent, very friendly and helpful. Roof terrace with pool is nice, was never too busy so always managed to get a lounger in the afternoon. Bar opening was unreliable though, but when it was open the team were great. Breakfast is very basic, could do with some more options, but it was good enough and always plentiful. Rooms are modern, clean and nice facilities. Hotel is 5 minutes walk to the waterfront, area feels very safe.

The location is excellent and only 10min walk to ferries and buses etc.

Staff service is exceptional and very friendly to accommodate.

Fabulous rooftop for sunbathing & small pool
Room and bathroom was clean & tidy
Breakfast has a large choice and very tasty
Aircon in room is a godsend

Cons -
Road outside gets really busy with traffic and I’m sure the air quality at peak times is way above legal limits

Sign asking to shower before entering pool is hidden behind plant and hardly anyone showers before use

Shower tray in bathroom allows water to run onto bathroom floor flooding bathroom so have to pile towels to stop this happening

Walls are thin and due to tiled floor can be quite noisy.

Restaurant meant to be best in Malta but menu very limited especially for vegetarian options

Our room had no view at all, also if you leave card slot and aircon on overnight bring something to cover the green light as this is very bright especially if a light sleeper like me.

- Overall we were happy with our stay.

Lovely hotel in good area

We had a great stay at this hotel, the rooms were lovely with great AC and the buffet breakfast was really good. The pool was fairly small for the number of guests so we did not use it but aside from that I can’t complain at all. Super easy to walk to the main area of Sleima which then makes the whole of Malta island really accessible

What a little gem. Far from the madding crowd. A little oasis of calm. The staff were so welcoming and pleasant. Breakfast time was peaceful and not rushed. Plenty of quiet places to sit and to cool off a lovely plunge pool. (Not possible to swim any lengths.) lovely chilled out music to listen to whilst relaxing in the pool. This is a wonderful find in what can be a very busy area.

Excellent hotel in Sliema that I’d recommend highly. All areas are spotless and the place feels newly renovated. The big difference to Ta Tereza to other hotels is the staff, always happy to oblige and do all they can to make for a great stay. Nayan in reception was always super helpful. The breakfast was lovely (enough choice of quality food). The pool area was a real bonus, plenty of loungers and sun umbrellas for the shade. I loved my stay here. Book it!

I would just like to point out that there were no coffee/tea making facilities in the room and no safe.

Unfortunately there was work going on around or in the hotel that created banging, builders talking early morning. The staff and builders once I made it known to them were incredibably polite. The hotel itself was extremely clean and in a good location.

A great hotel overall with an even better fancy restaurant!! The hotel is located in a great area, close to the sea and other restaurants. It was clean and the staff were very helpful. The breakfast was nice and the rooms were comfortable. The only downside was that parking had to be done on the street (and the streets are quite small) unless you want to pay extra for parking. However, it wasn’t a massive inconvenience, so overall a great place to stay!!

Very convenient location: pastizzeria, corner shop, souvenir shop and 2 cafes right next to it. Halfway between Sliema waterfront and St Julian's Balluta Bay.
A lovely rooftop lounge area with swimming pool (only disadvantage was the pool was not heated). Decent breakfast included (although more variety would be nice.
Not very common - our room was actually larger than any of the photos shown.
The staff did an excellent job in dealing with our requests and fullfilling our needs.
Rajesh, the receptionist, did an outstanding job, making us very welcome from day one. And so did his lady colleagues at the reception (sorry, did not catch their names but easy to find out I guess) as well as the room service and everyone else.
Overall - a lovely boutique hotel that may not be 5* but its staff deffo makes the difference - exemplary!

The property was well maintained and very clean with a very nice laid back ambience. The staff were welcoming and helpful. Modern features conveniently situated at the top of a hill so probably not good for anyone with mobility issues. Breakfast could do with improvement.

We selected a room with a balcony, which provided extra space to relax and to be honest to air our clothes after the days activites. The hotel is on quite a busy road but once inside there was no noise from the traffic.
Breakfast is buffet style and choices were good and well stocked.
Pool is small but more than enough for a dip to cool off.
Location is up a hill, but most places are in Sleima, and is very manageable. The good thing was whichever direction we went from the hotel we were able to find good places to eat. There is a menu for lunch and dinner but we prefer to explore the area.
Overall very happy with Ta Tereza.

Nice hotel, clean and staff were polite and helpful. Good breakfast, comfortable room and good facilities. No kettle or tea in rooms - no big deal but would have been nice to have a tea in the evenings. apparently they are under lock and key so need to give a refundable deposit to get them!

Convenient location for walking to restaurants and getting where I needed to go (I was there for work). Streets in surrounding area dirty and falling apart!

Lovely little gem of a boutique hotel an easy walk to the waterfront in Silema and the main bus stop for that part of the capital area.
Breakfast buffet featured a mix of local and English classics. Rooms are clean, modern and chic. Staff were attentive, friendly and extremely helpful. I stayed with an infant and they were very accommodating.

Great stay, would recommend to others and stay again.

Excellent location, a 10 min walk to both Sliema and St Julian promenades with easy access to ferries to Valetta and ferries and tour operators for the Blue Lagoon.

Breakfast was included, a good continental selection - happy with the service. Staff were pleasant and helpful. Pool and terrace were open to enjoy into the evening.

The only downside is the walls were really thin to the point I could hear neighbours disconnect plugs from the wall sockets or nudge the wall when in the shower. If you're a light sleeper, I'd recommend you bring ear plugs!

Fabulous independent hotel, very modern, great service with high standards and the rooftop terrace pool with quality sun beds is an added bonus … I would definitely chose this hotel again … unsure why they advertise ‘annex’ rooms as such, really no need, it’s just a different wing to the hotel …

My favorite place to stay in Malta - convenient location (SLIEMA) and secure, underground parking are both a big plus. Terrific restaurant (AZUR) on premises, and a world-class BREAKFAST BUFFET each morning. Friendly staff, great rates, clean hotel and probably the safest place in Malta (although EVERYWHERE in Malta is safe) - because the Police Station is literally across the street!

Hidden gem of a hotel offering a very warm welcome

This guest house was a last-minute booking which we were so happy to find as it offered a great room rate and was just a short walk down to the beautiful marina area of Sliema. The marina area offers a lively nightlife, great shopping, cruises, and picturesque views of capital city Valletta.

When we arrived at the guest house we found the staff to be very friendly, escorting us to our room and making us feel like we mattered. We had good restful sleep in a recently refurbished room. We enjoyed a choice of hot and cold breakfast which included bacon, eggs, beans, cakes, bread, cereal, fruit and more. The guest house also has a fine dining restaurant, a lovely ground floor outdoor patio where you can sit and enjoy breakfast and a roof top terrace with bar and swimming pool.

We could see that a lot of time, care and love had gone into the making of this relatively new guest house (build several years ago). Operations manager Karl was absolutely charming and very attentive to our needs and was so extremely focused on making everyone’s stay special.

A convenient bus stop (named \"Savoy\") is located a minute or two around the corner from the accommodation with connections to Valletta and Saint Julians.

This is a guest house with a big heart and all you need during your stay. An iron, ironing board and kettle are available on request, and we loved our refrigerator in our room as we could keep drinks chilled. A big thank you from us!

Overall it was a really great, comfortable stay! Breakfast was fantastic. The only things to improve upon is providing tissues and a kettle, tea and coffee. It would also be good to have more English channels on the TV. Otherwise everything else was great. Very friendly and helpful staff.

Where do I even begin with the praise for Ta ’ Tereza In Manwel Dimech? Let’s start with the warm welcome from Alessandra at the front desk. Upon our arrival, my husband and I realized I had left my laptop at the airport. Alessandra was immediately supportive, offering her phone to contact the airport and ensuring we got a room upgrade even though we arrived early for check-in. Her approach significantly calmed my nerves.

Every interaction with the hotel staff was a pleasure. Everyone we met was smiling, and no request was too much to accommodate. Sneza, in particular, went above and beyond, providing us with numerous sightseeing tips and adjusting the breakfast options to suit our preferences. Connecting with her definitely made our stay more enjoyable.

Staying at Ta’Tereza Inn felt like being in a familiar, comfortable place - a remarkable feeling to have in a hotel.

Throughout our 10-day stay, we felt incredibly at ease. My husband, a freelancer, worked from the hotel daily, finding plenty of quaint and quiet spots for uninterrupted work.

The hotel’s location is conveniently close to the fast ferry, just a 4-5 minute walk, and surrounded by a variety of restaurants within a 10-minute stroll. The breakfast offered a delightful selection of vegetables, eggs, and pastries - the mini croissants and perfect coffee are still on my mind.

I rate Ta ’ Tereza In Manwel Dimech more than 10/10. You won’t regret choosing this accommodation for your stay. :)

Ta Tereze is a lovely hotel, the breakfast was good & the staff were welcoming & very helpful. Nothing was too much trouble! We were staying for our 50th wedding anniversary and they went out of there way to make it a special occasion. We would definitely recommend it.

Cute boutique hotel

Comfortable annex room in the hotel - great to find annex wasn’t actually unconnected to the hotel as is often the case. Good breakfast selections, friendly staff, especially receptionist for whom nothing was too much trouble. Bonus to find rooftop pool was still open. Hotel located equidistant between Sliema ferry region and Balluga bay so plenty of choice for eating out- although our meal at Azur restaurant in hotel was lovely.
There was noise from diners on the hotel terrace on the first couple of nights most apparent first night when we were tired after long travel. Shower panel could have been better if a bit longer as we kept flooding the floor

Close walking distance to Valetta ferry and restaurants. Very friendly workers. OK breakfast. We had a very small room with tiny window. Bed is extremely uncomfortable. I never have problems with my bacк, until i slept on this mattress. It is not leveled and it feels like your feet are higher than your head when you lay down. Pillows are stiff and very high even for side sleeper. Air conditioner is not adjustable in the room. Does not matter you put high fan or low, 17degrees or 26-all the same. Shower is leaking all over the bathroom floor. I understand it is not a 5 star hotel, but we normally stay in this level hotels and usually leave very good reviews.
