Machine petit déjeuner HS et donc pas de chocolat disponible maigres le prix du petit déjeuner non négligeable.
Serveur absent par moment au petit déjeuner obligeant certains clients à ne pas attendre pour prendre un café (machine bloquée pour besoin de vidage cuve)….

Pas de bouteille d'eau offerte, alors que c'est un hôtel 4 * et qu'il faisait vraiment chaud. La caution de 100€ n'a pas été remboursée le jour même. Pourquoi? J'attends le virement sur mon compte. Je ne recommande plus cet hôtel.

The front desk staff were wonderful so friendly and accommodating Also the bartender and server The hotel was alright but needed some updates A little shabby around the edges The jacuzzi pool looked great but was very cold It looked as though they are trying to save money so cutting back on certain things Staff made it better than it actually was

Good room, although air conditioning did not work and bedding was for winter - at temperatures of 30 degrees not a pleasant stay. Restaurant and bar were closed and had long walk in to town to eat and drink.

Short stay for a business trip

Nice experience, easy check in process, and a decent size room. Breakfast was 18 EUR a day but it was nothing overwhelming, with not many things to choose from. Nice fitness centre. 5 EUR a day outdoors parking no reservation is required. Area around the hotel was ok, not the nicest.

Very nice and comfortable hotel, nice big bathroom and room was very bright which is a nice change to the rest of the hotels we have been in during our Europe trip. The room had a tea/coffee station as well as a fridge which is also bonus. Free parking was quite easy so didn't have to pay for the underground. A bit of walk to anything of interest but definitely walkable.

Very overpriced, restaurant disappointing

The first room I had, did not have windows that could open. the fan did not work in the bathroom and there were no windows in the bathroom. It was a very claustrophobic room. The moved me to another room, however it was very hot and the air con did not work at all and I was told that the reason was that it was the Autumn - they clearly have turned it off to save money. The restaurant was awful ( a local restaurant also said he had previous customers saying the same). The salmon I had was very dry and overcooked with cold vegetables tomatoes and courgettes mixture. The reception and breakfast staff were friendly though.

Do not stay here! Hookers line the street opposite - the gym is not worthy of being called a gym, the restaurant was average at best, the breakfast was awful.
Air conditioning was not turned on and the windows in some of the rooms are locked so you cannot open them. Extremely disappointing and i had to stay here for 5 nights at the cost of over £100 per night. expect a lot better.

no thought for guests on bank holiday

disappointed we were not told by staff or in writing that the hotel did not serve meals or bar drinks apart from serving breakfast because of May day bank holiday in a strange place only the fast food places open so burgers were all we could get .Suggest something put in place to warn guest in future hence only 2

Great location.

Walking distance to much of the town

Nice room, pleasant hotel. Across the street from an elementary school so afternoons can be filled with the shouts of children on recess. Great views from the rooms on high floors.

Excellent hotel, in an ideal location.

The hotel was absolutely brilliant, the hotel staff was absolutely brilliant ans Grenoble was absolutely brilliant.
I had a great time here and would suggest the hotel to anyone going there. Its a short tram journey, or 20 minute walk into the main town and theres many supermarkets and a mcdonalds close by.

Wonderful service

I had to delay arrival several times. I called hotels.com customer service who called Nicolas at the hotel and all worked out seamlessly. Great job by both hotels.com and Nicolas and a very nice hotel too!

Nice place, shame about the location.

This Hotel is very nice. Its clean and comfortable. The BIG downside is the location.
It is a 20 minute walk to the center of town. Graffiti is rife in the area (as with Grenoble in general and ladies of the night can be found up on the bridge 100 m from the hotel). If you take a taxi you just sit in traffic at rush hour when you have to get some where. It is near bus routes but I could not find information at the Hotel. The bar is over priced with large beers at 8+ euros when you can get then between 3 and 4 in regular bars. There are only 2 channels in English on the TV unless you want to pay 25 euros a day for extra.
To close, comfortable, clean, wrong location for a city break and typically for a 4star over priced facilities.
PS. there is a Indian restaurant just around the corner that looks really nice but it served meat that we could not recognise!!!

A comfortable clean hotel

We reserved two nights at this hotel, assuming there would be plenty to see in Grenoble. In the summer it is a quiet little mountain town, but they are ready for tourists. The hotel is OK, but it is a little too far for a comfortable walk to and fro the town centre. The tram is close.
The rooms are OK, but the restaurant service is very slow, and the food selection is limited.
Car parking is easy, once you have found the way in.
There was a bath and shower, but the bath was uncomfortably small.

A Decent Value in Grenoble

This hotel has everything I look for in a hotel: the room was clean and secure, the location was safe, and they have a breakfast room. (I am not a needy luxury traveler.) Beyond satisfying my prerequisites, I found the hotel staff to be very friendly and helpful, and apologetic about the renovations going.

The hotel is not in the \"heart\" of Grenoble... close enough, though, that everything is still walkable. (I walked to the Bastille and old town/centre city restaurants.)

Comfortable, Clean, But Small

The room was very small; hard to walk around the king-size bed without tripping over your suitcase on the floor. The entryway was a short hall with closet and bureau - nice and funtional. The bathroom was big but not very much counterspace, but the shower was great - lots of water pressure and hot water. The bedroom area had a small desk to work at but no other chair to sit on. There was one bench to put your suitcase on but if you were traveling with anyone or had a second suitcase there was no place to put it except on the floor. And then as I said you'd trip over it walking around the bed.

Don't expect to relax in the room but a great place to sleep

Nous n'avons pas été mis au courant que l'hôtel était en rénovation. Jour d'arrivée, le restaurant/zone détente fermés. 1 ascenseur non fonctionnel, clés des chambres non fonctionnelles. Nous devions chercher à chaque fois le réceptionniste. Cela à duré jusqu'à hier soir.
La zone detente non fonctionelle, le jacuzzi peinait au niveau des jets (donc pas de bulles), il faisait très froid, sauna qui n'allait pas plus haut que 35degrés. Meme après 30min de chauffe.
Fitness vieux, sale, et machines HS.
Parking gratuit.... mais exterieur ! En vue de l'insécurité très présente à Grenoble, il nous a été vivement conseillé de mettre la voiture dans le garage.... à 14euros la nuit !
Pour l'instant, j'attends un retour de la responsable pour un geste commerciale en vue de tous les problemes presents durant ces deux nuits à l'hôtel qui etait un cadeau pour mon mari. Très déçue.

Nettes Hotel für die Durchreise, schon etwas abgenutzt. Großes minus es gibt keine Elektrotankstelle. Es gibt warmes Essen bis 22:00 Uhr, Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Auch sehr gutes Frühstücksbuffet und reichhaltig. Großes Blues es gibt frischen Orangensaft, frisch gepresst.

Hotel d'altri tempi ormai, andrebbe rifatto. Moquette ovunque, anche se di design mostra i segni del tempo. Colazione non all'altezza. Camere grandi e un inutile frigo bar vuoto, con nemmeno una bottiglia d'acqua. Fontanella all'ingresso, ma ti devi portare il bicchiere in camera se vuoi bere.

J’ai prit des photos car j’étais stupéfaite pour un établissement de ce genre que la cuvette des toilettes soit cassée, que la prise de la salle de bain se décroche lorsque l’on débranche le fer à lisser, ou bien de trouver des poils sur les serviettes « neuves ».
Je suis déçue, c’est très cher pour ma prestation fournie et l’état plus que médiocre des chambres.
