Our room was cosy and the bed very comfortable. The location is perfect, right in town for easy access to restaurants and bars, with plenty of lovely walks nearby or just a short drive away. The only downside was breakfast on the Saturday: my husband’s full English was quite overcooked, and my porridge was more like raw oats in warm milk, not creamy at all. Thankfully, the following morning’s breakfast of crumpets and scrambled eggs was much better, so perhaps just an off day for the chef. Overall, a lovely place to stay, we’d definitely return. x

This guest house was a great place to stay. The room was comfortable, clean, and spacious. The owners were so friendly and helpful. They really made you feel at home. Convenient for walking around the shops and accessing restaurants. Easy and convenient parking. Great stay. Would recommend it!

We're got the first parking space by arriving early at about 11:30am. Good location, 30 mins walk to Bowness, Millerground Lakeshore and Orrest Head. We liked the food at Graze cafe, Rastelli's Pizzeria and Homeground Coffee + Kitchen. We liked the decorations of house and good selection of breakfast with friendly staff service. The WiFi was fast but busy at night time. One minor thing the no window bathroom's extractor fan wasn't working.

Very comfortable and well-appointed with everything you need. The space is beautiful and located a short walk to restaurants and shopping. Breakfast was lovely and the proprietor was as well. I would stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

I had such a warm welcome from Bonnie and her family. My room was lovely, everything i needed. The bed was lovely and comfortable too.
Lots of breakfast choice and the cooked breakfast was delicous. The service was great, nothing was too much trouble.
The location of the guest house is a few mins walk from the centre so perfectly situated.

Made to feel incredibly welcome. Property is in a fantastic location to walk to the many bars, cafes, restaurants and shops in Windermere. Room was big, shower was good and nice little seating area in the bedroom. There is a lovely lounge for guests to use, which we made use of after a nice evening out.

The stay was booked as a 40th birthday present. From pre arrival to departure we felt very welcomed. The pre arrival information was vary useful. As this was for a birthday break there is an optional extra to have the room decorated and a cake supplied. A very nice surprise for any unsuspecting guest. The owners and staff are very friendly. I have to mention the decor, it's amazingly quirky and very well done, no matter which room you're in you're eye gets drawn to something interesting. Overall, a very classy place, great atmosphere and worth staying in

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The room was large and spotlessly clean, with an incredibly comfortable bed. Breakfast was excellent, very good quality food and served in a friendly manner. It was also great to have the guests lounge which we used several times. We were given all the relevant information for check in and found the staff to be very helpful and friendly.

We ate at Tapios one night for delicious tapas and highly recommended them.
Our second night we ate at The Pig ( name changed to Tilly’s ) and had their Cajun chicken burger… yummy!
We opted for a full English breakfast which was not the biggest one I’ve had but cooked fresh and nicely presented and the option of cereal and toast as well
Our room (2) on the first floor at the front had a lovely window seat which was lovely to sit on and read for a bit.
It was also very spacious and clean.
And lastly the icing on the cake was the use of the pool at the local leisure centre which was literally a 5 minute drive.
We spent a couple of hours in there both days and had the place virtually to ourselves !! The jacuzzi, steam room and pool were amazing.

Lovely stay at this property, easy check in with self check in. The only downside I would say was the parking which is of no fault of the owners but another guest had parked their car in a very awkward position meaning it was impossible to get past to the available spaces at the back of the property so we had to park on the street at first.

Love Windermere, and this B&B was wonderful. The only problem was we were on 3rd level, and the second flight of stairs was tight and spiral. Great location. The staff was friendly.

Plenty of messages from the property to help navigate contactless check-in, and we only saw staff at check-out and during breakfast. We booked through Expedia and the property isn’t able to collect via Expedia for some reason so be prepared to pay with cash (they don’t have a card swiper, and we barely had enough money to cover the room—whew!). Full breakfast is made-to-order and delicious! Room was super cute, and the only hiccup was the heater/radiator. It would be hot one minute and then cold the next (and for most of the night)…maybe we didn’t turn them on correctly? Overall, we enjoyed our overnight stay!
