We loved the neighborhood and the hotel, such a great stay! Just be prepared for a bit of walking, which we didn’t mind at all. The staff was absolutely phenomenal, especially Eric at the front desk. From the moment we arrived, he was incredibly helpful, answered all of our questions, and even went out of his way to help us switch our bed setup to twins. He also kindly shared a helpful tip for future bookings when using Expedia, which we really appreciated.

A small wish would be having complimentary water in the room, and hopefully on our next visit the room will be a bit more updated. That said, overall it was a wonderful experience, and we would absolutely come back and stay here again.

This hotel was amazing, I loved it. Such a fantastic room, and our canal view was absolutely perfect. Great and helpful staff and a comfy bed, the hotel was located only a few minutes walk from a great grocery store and delicious restaurants. The room was good. But I have never heard a 4 star hotel going out of bath towels. There were only 2 towels kept in the room for 4 people. When we requested for 2 more towels the reception person clearly mentioned that they do not have any more towels in stock..what a shame!!!

Many accommodations in the city center were low rated, overpriced, and some didn’t seem to exist. This was by far the best priced for a place of quality. It is a legit hotel with great service, clean rooms, and a great location in the quieter parts of Venice away from the loud tourism with great food nearby as well as easy access water transportation. The breakfast is worth it as well, it is a huge buffet and is actually open for most of the morning compared to most hotels that stop serving around 8am. This one was open from 7:30-10:30! 12pm checkout is also one of the nicest checkout times for a hotel I’ve ever stayed in.

I would stay here again if I come back to Venice without a doubt.

Location is supreme. Can be reached by water taxi from the airport. A bit far from San Marco, but that's the advantage bc less noise. Hotel is clean by the canal with nice view in the morning. Staff is helpful and friendly. Will come back staying here again 👍

I thought the location of the property was absolutely great. The hotel itself was fine - small shower and overall not the nicest looking bathroom, but the AC worked great and the bed was comfy. If I had been better about booking out earlier I think I would have been thrilled by it overall, but as it was I paid a bit too much for just a fine hotel in a great area.

Nice Location, But Service needed Work

The location is a bit far from the center, but it makes for a good walk. There are great pasta restaurants nearby. The service is decent but not fully reliable when it comes to resolving issues—only halfway there. The TV and remote didn’t work, and some outlets were out of order. It’s clear they don’t always thoroughly check the rooms before guests arrive, which needs improvement. The lounge and outdoor patio are nice. My room had a beautiful view over the canal with boats and plenty of sunlight.

Tranquil area of Venice which was a plus for us, close to the train station and vaporetto. Breakfast was great and a major convenience. The air conditioning was broken in our original room and it was very hot outside. We were eventually moved to a different room and our kids ended up having to share a pull out couch instead of having their own beds, but at least it was cool. Rooms are a little dark and dated, but overall a good experience.

If you’re looking for an upscale boutique hotel in Venice, this location checks all of the boxes. The location is clean, well decorated, and has a strong air conditioner. I highly recommend the breakfast here. It has been one of the best breakfast buffets we’ve had in Europe.

The area is quiet , mainly locals but does have near by restaurants and Taxi service for a charge.
Be aware the rooms have downstairs bathroom and living room with loft style bedroom.

“Perfect Stay in the Heart of Venice!”

I recently stayed at this charming hotel in Venice, and it was truly a wonderful experience. The location couldn’t have been better—right in the heart of the city, making it easy to explore all the major attractions on foot while still feeling tucked away from the crowds.

The staff was incredibly friendly and went out of their way to make us feel welcome, offering great recommendations and always greeting us with a smile. The room was comfortable and cozy, with a unique Venetian charm. While it was a bit darker than expected, it added to the intimate atmosphere, which we grew to appreciate.

Everything was spotless, from the bedroom to the bathroom, which made our stay all the more enjoyable. If you’re looking for a clean, comfortable, and centrally located place to stay in Venice with warm and attentive service, I highly recommend this hotel. Five stars!

The room looked exactly the way it appears online. The hotel is an old monastery, but the rooms are modern. However, the pull out bed my daughters slept on, was broken and was not repaired the night they slept on it. It provided a horrible sleep.

During the 3 nights we spent at this property, the internet service was down, the AC was not working properly either as it is a \"centrally controlled system\" so you can imagine at night how warm/hot the room was, the furniture in the room is very old and the buffet is not worth it. Definitely not recommending it, this used to be a great 4 starts hotel, not anymore.

Hot like an actual oven even with windows open. Poorest and most depressing lighting ever in the rooom. Bathroom is falling apart, furniture on its last leg, fridge suspiciously warm and had to toss our snacks. Cannot check in early by any minutes. Tried to switch our room to one half the price of what we paid. Reason they switched us because “they thought our kids were younger”, like it’s ok then to bait and switch if within a certain age bracket. Venice was my favorite stop on our tour of Italy; Eurostars was the worst hotel.

The hotel is a wonderful building inside and out, in a nice location. Our room was stunning at first but we found it frustrating. There are far too many light switches and permutations to get a particular light on or off, overall the lighting is poor.Reading a book after dark is difficult and we had to shine our phones onto the safe instructions to be able to read them. Despite cold November nights our biggest problem was the room being far too hot for a comfortable sleep, it was like an oven. On the first night I asked reception to just turn the heaters off to our room because turning the room controls off seemed to make no difference, I cannot understand why they would pay high energy bills to heat the street because we had to have the windows open to cool the room. I assume the individual controls would be just as useless in summer.
If we were not kept awake by the stifling temperature it was the noise from the next room. I don’t think the occupants were particularly loud, you could just hear every word, cough, sneeze like they were in the room with you and these girls didn’t stop talking morning and night.
Overall, the hotel has many great features and friendly staff but I cannot enthuse over them because the room was simply uncomfortable and unable to provide a decent nights sleep. I mentioned my gripes when checking out and was annoyed by the reply of “ you should have told us and maybe we could have done something about the heating “…. I did, on the very first night.

The place was very spacious with two stories with bathrooms in the ground floor. This setup was kind of inconvenient because we had to use the lower level to change while just use the upper level for sleeping. They had 2 beds in the upper level but a wooden beam cutting across which can be hazard at night time. Our daughter had to crawl to get to the bed. Lighting was overall poor and very less outlets to charge your phones and accessories. Also they control the a/c at the front desk which was kind of dressed . The property is bang on the canal and private transportation while expensive like a water taxi was super useful. We used it to go to burano and also to the traon station with the baggage. The front desk was very helpful in arranging for transportation and guiding us to places to eat/visit. Overall a mixed experience as the rooms we got was not very comfortable

We were a family of 5.
The location of the property was quite a distance from the main restaurants and had limited options.
The room was very dark and had a strange layout. If they added a few lamps, that might help.
The shower was awful, scalding hot water that burned us and when we asked the front desk, they were not helpful at all. We had to Jean ourselves using the sink which didn't have much water pressure.
The breakfast was not good at all, very disappointing given the lobby looked great but the rooms were in bad shape.
The staff was not helpful and we felt misled when they told us the price of the water taxi was 19 euros total. We asked him again and he said that was for all of us. It turned out to be 70 euros.
We would not recommend this hotel at all.

the location wan not on the city center, we were there on march and it was still cold, there was no heater on the rooms and it was soooo cold at night, we keep telling them but apperenty they will turn on the heater on a certain degree on a certain time which they had the control of. overall the hotel was so old

The location is a bit of a walk from the main train station but that made it super calm and quiet at night away from all of the other tourists. Loved that they have a commitment to trying to go green and sustainable and had a wonderful time in the courtyard attached to the hotel to relax before going into the hustle and bustle of the canals. We really loved our hotel it was updated nicely and the breakfast was really good. We were there in July so it was extremely hot. Our room was the two story one which we really liked the set up with our teen kids. But because of the two stories and open space the air conditioning barely felt like it was working. Also it is a fair walk from the main square so in the heat you feel like a sweaty mess and get back to a very warm room. There is a grocery store around the corner called Conad and was really affordable. Our mini fridge was lukewarm and the shower had issues draining. If it was not so hot am sure our stay would have been more comfortable. Very quiet and calm local area which was nice.

Hotael and water taxi were perfect.

This hotel, by far, was the best hotel we stayed in, anywhere. The location was absolutely perfect. We were transported to the airport by water taxi, which picked us up at the side of the hotel's dock, in the canal. It was such a treat. The staff was equally as wonderful as this hotel. Thank you all for such a great experience.

Beautiful old hotel with modern amenities. Right on a canal so a water Taxi took us directly to the private dock for our arrival. The location is a little away from the tourist stuff which was perfect! It gave us a wonderful chance to eat at local restaurants and escape the crowds at night and everything in Venice is easily walkable.
