We arrived on a rainy day so we were desperate to get to our room. We carried our luggage up the stairs and immediately found the staff. We arrived couple hours early but luckily our room was ready. Staff was nice. We had room 13 which is the first door across from reception desk. Very convenient and we felt safe. The room was nice. Exactly as imagined. The only thing i did not like was the heater in the bathroom. Way too hot. The room gave me a headache the whole time i was there. I think it was because of the heat everytime the bathroom door opened. The garden windows were right next to our room we thought that was nice until the evening hit and People were smoking at the gardens and talking all night so we couldnt really keep windows open. Other than that awesome quick overnight stay. Everything needed is walking distance to shopping, eating, busses and water taxis. The hotel was also nice to let us borrow umbrella for the evening rain.

If you’re looking for a place that is out of the busy busy areas this is the place! Quiet and safe area. Super nice staff. Room was clean. Was within 15-30mins walk to any sort of attraction. Was perfect as you get to see all the hidden gems during your walk around. Would definitely highly recommend. We will be staying when we ever come back!

I really want to thanks for the front team Especially Alberto, he explain the history of the hotel and the attractions in Venetia and the Burance ferry stations. Also thanks Tiata or Kiata?, she is so smart that she called me back on my cell phone and made the reservation very smooth. They are very nice people and I love the traditional decorations of the hotel so sweet like a home. I will definitely recommend this hotel and for sure I am coming back to Venetia and I will bring my family and other girl friends in the future! Thank you all. All the best! 😄😍

This place was an unexpected awesomeness!!! Google maps did not help us find it… so warning there put in the name of the property as that is how we found it… it is down an ally between a restaurant and retail shop you will walk past it multiple time… the waiter finally pointed it out to us as well. Once you get in the place is absolutely beautiful!!! Clean, charming and just cool… there are a lot of steps so pack light.

We LOVED our stay at Casa Martini! We arrived midday and our room was ready. Check-in was friendly, very informative, and the sense of history is amazing! The room was comfortable as was the bed. We will definitely stay longer when we come back. And even though check-out is on the earlier side, we were able to leave our bags for most of the day.

A great place to stay at. The host was very welcoming, he was able to accommodate an early reception for my wife and two children that arrived Venice early in the morning. They were able to leave the bags and continue to a planned tour. The entrance to the hotel is kind of tricky and it may take you off because of the way it looks but once you are in side is a whole other story. I really appreciated the accommodation and friendly staff. Looking forward to another stay. Oh, on known travel rating platform you can find it under Locanda Casa Martini.

A lovely for a few days at Casa Martini. Nice and easy to get to the train station, bus station, and vaporetti station and so great for seeing Venice. Casa Martini is tucked away slightly which is nice and the gentleman on the front desk is really helpful and friendly. Would stay here again and recommend.

We loved everything about our stay at Casa Martini. Beautiful hotel, clean rooms, amazing location which was close to the train station and many restaurants and shops. It seemed quieter and less crowded than other areas in Venice, but you could easily walk to all the sites. The staff there was wonderful and allowed us to store our luggage after checkout. Would highly recommend and we would definitely stay there again.

Great location for visiting Venice and near bus and train station. Hotel manager was very helpful and welcoming.

One small negative was our room was next to reception and we could hear chatting from quite early in the morning so if we were to stay again we’d Maybe ask for a room on floor above but overall a great place!

Great place to fulfill the requirement of just spent the night and go out to live the city. Rooms are not isolated and they easily catch the outside noise. If you're not lucky as myself, noisy visitors from other rooms will give you a hard time sleeping.

Still a good place for the price I paid.

On arrival to hotel for check in i was told they had a problem and did not have a room. i was then sent to different hotel. Hotel was hard to find and looked very dated. Can not say much about the rooms as we never made it to the rooms. unhappy about the customer service. Hard to find and lots of stairs to before you get to reception.

Hotel was lovely. Room was literally off breakfast area with a coffee machine outside door. We weren't able to add breakfast on though as the staff informed us that they were fully booked. Not a problem though as much nicer experience to sit outside in main street with a coffee. Was just a bit awkward leaving room whilst other guests were having breakfast though!!

Bit of a dissapointment

The hotel has little or no staff. I never met any staff while there other than to check in. The hotel is above shop which was getting renovated so from 7am to 7pm there was constant drilling sawing and banging. Our room had no view of any sort, it looked into a small bricked up court. this the builders used for there band saw. I complained as soon as i moved in to the room and was told with a shrug of the shoulders thats it. The safe never worked the T.V never worked, no Kettle and not a lot of space to hang clothes. Also if you are infirm there are a lot of steps to go up and down. The bed was made dailly and we had clean towels.

We booked in for one night as we were flying out of Venice airport early the next morning. We wanted somewhere close to the bus/train stations & this hotel was ideal. 8 min walk. The hotel was quite difficult to find as it is up a narrow alleyway off the street - you have to be quite observant to see it! It is quaint in a boutique way - a very old building. Lots of vintage/antique items all over the place which made walking along the corridor very interesting. The guy at reception was really nice & helpful. Our rooms were on the 2nd floor & there is no lift, but they will offer to help you carry your luggage.Our rooms overlooked one of the lovely quiet terraces they have at the back of the hotel. Very quiet room, comfortable bed, quite dated decor & very little hanging space. The en-suite was adequate but the shower stall is very compact - fine if you are about the size of a sparrow but very restricting for a full-size adult! It could be designed in a better way by having a 'wet room' layout. We didn't eat at the hotel but there is a nice cafe at the corner of the alleyway leading to the hotel. Overall, I would stay there again, but given the lack of wardrobe space, probably for no more than 2 nights.

Nice hotel in great location

After struggling to find the hotel (we arrived after 7pm and staff remotely open the main entrance which is tucked away in a side street) we had the displeasure to find no air conditioning available. The hotels get taxed heavily and therefore do not use it before June. Staff the next were very nice and got us a fan. After this, we could enjoy plainly the lovely hotel and its great location.

We were in the hotel early and they were strict with the hotel policy that check in is only after 2pm. We wasn't offered to put our luggages down and I had to ask for it and the staff kind of reluctantly said yes.
Cleaniness in the room is not very good. Sheets had a smell in it. The walls in the room were very thin and we could hear our neighbours. Overall experience not as great.

The worst bed/pillows I've ever slept on. Walls are paper thin - I was kept awake all night by the crying child next door. The TV did not work so I couldn't even use that to drown out the noise. Also, even though the website says Airport Shuttle, they do not offer one.n staff was not friendly or helpful. Also, nobody is there in the evening.

The location is great. We flew into Venice Airport and took a water bus that left us off only 150 meters from the hotel. It's right in the heart of the ghetto so walking around Venice from there is easy. Close to all the major sites.

Hotel was pleasant, room was much larger than expected. It was clean and comfortable.
No elevator and we were lucky enough to only have to walk up one flight of stairs with our luggage. Those on the 3rd floor were not so lucky.
The only reason I gave them a 4 instead of a 5 is that the bathroom exhaust vent didn't work and the bathroom/shower ceiling was full of mold. I asked the front dest about the vent and they said that it's not supposed to work. It is just a cover for a hole in the ceiling that is supposed to vent out the steam from the shower. It's no wonder there was mold.

Other than that, nice place, pleasant staff, great location.

Enjoyable stay at this small BnB. They call themselves a BnB however breakfast was not included, however it could be had for an extra fee. Area is nice to walk around, close to transport.

Check in was a little confusing, with the staff not explaining everything about the BnB. Make sure you get a downstairs door pass otherwise you will not be able to enter after 7pm.

Great location as most of the reviews mention. Hotel is passably clean. Lovely and warm and cosy as it was cold out in March. We didn't bother with the breakfast so can't comment on that. Very atmospheric if a bit run down. Would have no problem returning to this hotel again.

Great Place to Stay, would stay there again!

This is a fantastic little B&B. We stayed in Room#14 and it was fantastically quaint. Nothing fancy but very clean and comfortable. While it may be located down a small alley, just like everything else in Venice, it is directly off of a main street and very safe. We had no difficulty finding it and the staff were friendly and helpful.

Nobody was there when we checked in. The hotel was very difficult to find and down an alley way. Our first room #23 had mold all over the bathroom. The second room #11 was leaking water from the ceiling. They told us breakfast was included and then charged us $30euro for two people.

Charming small boutique style hotel !

Casa Martini is a lovely, intimate boutique style hotel in the middle of this magical city! It's located within easy walking distance from the central train station which was an absolute godsend after arriving by train into a very busy place. The hotel is small and 'quirky' which we absolutely loved. We were given a four poster room at the front of the hotel and although I was a little concerned about possible noise from the street below, we didn't hear a thing and had a great nights sleep. The room was very large, with a lot of space, had a lot of character and was very charming. Everywhere was clean and tidy and well looked after. The staff presence is a little few and far between and there was no one around when we wanted to check out but the vibes are such that they don't seem to mind if you don't.

perfect for a quiet honeymoon

We enjoyed this hotel at the end of our honeymoon. It was a perfect location to walk through the streets for shopping and a short walk to the tourist area. A LOT of great restaurants just downstairs.
It is more you are on your own with the desk clerk. Very nice, but truly only there to check you in.
Would definitely return:)

The location is great because it is close to the train station so it is easily accessed. However, to me the hotel is a bit overpriced. The room was quite small, there was hardly any room left when we had our suitcases opened. Another thing was that the room was very dark, there was only one light and another lamp in the room. Also, the door was hard to lock. A good thing was that the room was clean and the air con was working fine. But I would except more from this price.

Slowest door. Ever.

The hotel doesn't have an entrance on the main street, it's in an alley on one side of the building, and no matter if you have a key, you have to ring the intercom. Then the fun starts. You will wait about 30-40 seconds for the door to open. It's mechanically done, creepy, noisy, and awkward. After that, there is no way to close it, so if you are like us and want to see nothing is coming in after you, you have to wait another minute or so for the door to close.

Overall it's an outdated, poorly thought out place with hard beds, and terrible electrical wiring/ layout. Our room had a mysterious cabinet with a key hanging out of it that was impossible to open. A lot of the doors and wood had scratches on it. The bathroom had ridiculously low mirror that even a hunchback would have to hunch down to use. The shades wouldn't close all of the way, and our room would randomly smell like Marijuana.

Was ok, convenient to the train and bus station. Expensive for what we got compared to Rome and Florence, Two staff were working at reception, one was helpful and one was not. No reception coverage after 7PM.

The location was excellent, but otherwise not a place I would recommend. It was a funky old venice building with a tiny entrance down an alley. The manager/desk guy was kind of cold, not entirely congenial, and conspicuously un-helpful about some questions, arrangements, etc. There are narrow, steep staircases to climb which would be a problem if you're older or not in good shape. There were no english language tv stations despite an apparently wide ranging cable tv system. Wifi internet was sporadic. Also, I believe this place is over-priced.

Los mandos invitación de época son bonitos, pero incómodos para los que estamos acostumbrados a los monomandos y termostáticos desde hace años.
El accesorio junto a la pila del baño, totalmente insuficiente para colocar las cosas de aseo.

La recepción, aunque muy limitada en tiempo 8.30 a 14.30, eran atentos.

Ci siamo trovati veramente bene, la stanza era pulitissima, la struttura si trova in una zona molto comoda per visitare tutta la città a piedi, le stanze un po' calde, ma veramente belle e curare. Un rapporto qualità prezzo perfetto.

Do not expect so much...

Little extra charges \"optionally\". Even you have to pay penalty of 7 EUR if you do not want to use your smelly wet towel again. If you leave your room for a city visit, it is not possible to lock with key your room. Only inside the room. The safe to keep your money/ rings...does not work. You should announce 1 day before what would you like to have for breakfast...even a coffee.

Almost perfect. The room was too warm when we arrived and it took about 12 hours to get the temperature down after turning the heat off and opening windows. The rest of the stay was perfect.

The best part of Casa Martini was its location! So close to the train station and you can even take a boat taxi (€15 one-way) from the airport to the Guglie dock, which was only a 3 minute walk away.

Since we arrived late and the reception was already closed, they had kindly prepared all the materials required to check-in including instructions and necessary information. This was really convenient!

The rooms were clean and the bathroom spotless.

The only downside was how thin the walls and doors were. Good thing was that all the other guests were quiet and respectful, but you could clearly hear people the next morning getting ready to check out.

E stato una bellissima esperienza... il miglior hotel di Venezia... tutto pulito, comodo, colazione buonissimo, tutto perfetto.. hanno aggiunto anche il letto subito per la nostra figlia di 3 anni...noi la consigliamo...
