Rooms were very nice and clean. The entry process to the room from the street took 4 different keys - great security, but a little bothersome. The first key was to the garden gate, the second key to the building, the third key to a suite of rental rooms, and the fourth to our room. The host was
extremely nice and we enjoyed our breakfast on the roof of one of the buildings owned by property. Because of some internet glitches we had some difficulty the first day of our stay because of a communications problem. We would stay there again - now that we know the secrets of getting to our room.

This property only has a two hour window for checking in. If you’re late in the least, they will not honor your reservation. Not worth the money the train was late arriving. We were not able to check in lost our money. No refund had to find another hotel room. We’re not waste my time on this property.

My partner and I spent three nights. Fabio welcomed us and Valentina stayed in touch by WhatsApp, suggesting best ways of reaching the hotel from arriving at the airport. The hotel is discreet, very quiet, down a quiet alley and clean and homely - the room wasn’t large but painted in warm colours with a tasteful old style wardrobe and drawers. Clean linen appeared each day, more than needed - new shower & toilet with very warm radiator which was welcome in February. We stayed three nights and didn’t have the breakfasts but saw them beautifully laid out. Highly recommended and a very memorable stay.

The location is great, but the room was full of mosquitos and blood spots on ceiling and walls from previous guest that killed mosquitos. The floor was very dirty, had not been clean properly.The mattress was terrible, dont have a mattress cover so you feel all the plastic buttons from mattress. Very uncomfortable. Don't even give you two pillows. We complain and they came to clean the room, but not the bathroom. Breakfast was ok. Even though it says Laundry Services, is not true. I asked and they said that was only for them, since they wash sheets and towels inhouse in that ONE washer they have at the breakfast area.

We had an overall lovely stay at the Angeles Inn. The hosts were responsive. However, I marked them down because we were promised services that they no longer offer. They advertise a breakfast, coffee, and laundry but they told me, upon asking, that they do not do this due to COVID, despite the fact that our other five hotels in Italy did offer this service.

The family who runs this BNB are very kind and helpful! And the breakfast in the terrace is really lovely! However, there were some big problems. Firstly, the shower head needs to be cleaned or replaced. It shoots water in every direction except on the person showering. It took me forever to rinse the shampoo out of my hair. But the even bigger problem was a mosquito invasion. I woke up with a dozen mosquito bites! And they kept happening. The last night was so bad, I didn’t get any sleep because I could hear them buzzing around my ears! I had to keep getting up to kill them with my flip flops! It was a shame, because I ended my vacation itchy, uncomfortable and tired.

We are very happy about the stay. The room is very beautiful and romantic! Same as the photo show. The view is amazing, next to the water. The host is very helpful and polite. She waited for us in the midnight when we have to mid-night check-in. The host responds to email quickly before we arrive. Excellent stay, recommend people visit Venice to stay in this cute place. The only drawback is no elevator, but the host helps out left the luggage.

Beautiful room and pretty little garden, we had a canal view room. On a side street just off a busy street. Amazing host Arnold, was really welcoming and friendly. Breakfast was available for an additional 5 euros which was worth having. Room didn’t have a fridge and iron and ironing board not available. Ironing service available for 3 euros per item. Near one of the main water taxi stops Guglie which was a couple of minutes away. Lots of shops, bars, restaurants, souvenir shops, supermarkets, ice cream parlours, clothes/shoes shops and bakeries right on the door step. Great location. Rialto bridge within about 10 minutes walking distance and St Marks Square about 15 minutes. Piazza Roma bus and railway station within 15 minutes walking distance. Didn’t feel far as was nice looking around as you went so we didn’t realise the distance we walked each day. 8 euros to the airport via shuttle bus from Piazza Roma or 15 euros from any of the stops via water taxi (Alilaguna).

What was disappointing is shared bathroom which was misleading from the booking experience making me believe that it was part of the room. The room was actually one of the rooms in a flat sharing the bathroom with 6+ guests… the isolation was not great, we could literally hear people speak in the next room. And the pictures on the expedia website are not all about the property, so misleading as well.

Everything was perfect! Valentina is a great host that kept in touch with us throughout our stay to make sure everything was good. Fabio was super sweet and charismatic. O banheiro não ficava dentro do quarto. O quarto ficava no 2º andar. Para acessar o banheiro, tínhamos que descer (com nossos produtos de higiene pessoal) até o 1º andar.
O principal problema é que o banheiro não era, na verdade, PRIVATIVO. Enquanto o anfitrião nos mostrava a acomodação, por exemplo, havia OUTRA PESSOA USANDO O BANHEIRO QUE DEVERIA SER PRIVATIVO A NÓS.
Isso acontece porque o hotel, embora anuncie que o banheiro é privativo do quarto, não o tranca. Não há uma chave sequer - qualquer um que abra a maçaneta consegue usá-lo. Enquanto tomávamos banho ou usávamos o banheiro, por exemplo, era comum ouvir outros hóspedes tentando abrir o banheiro, para usá-lo. Isso é nojento. Não traz nenhuma segurança sanitária a nós.
