The pictures on the website are NOT the same as the actual rooms!!!! I booked two queen rooms for weekend traveling, but we got standard doubles. Other residents were leaving immediately because they found bugs and other creepy crawlers in their rooms. The rooms were clean but not thoroughly clean. Checking in and out were very easy processes though!!! I will not book this hotel again though

The room was basically clean, but a used towel and bathmat were left on the floor from previous person. The tv remote had no batteries. The desk person brought a clean towel and batteries promptly, but seemed perturbed that he had to be inconvenienced. The air conditioner also did not cool the room so it was too warm during the night. Would not ever stay here again.

The very defination of Rancid. This place was so disguesting I have no idea how its listed as 4 something star on expedia. Every single room managed ti have a different, bad small. Main lobby smelt like weed, hallways and room musty and dirty, bathrooms like tobacco. I found 3 different roaches in various parts of the room over the stay, my \"clean sheets\" had several stains on my arrival. The \"King\" bed uses the frame of two twins, the mini fridge was totally frosted over and lowing its temp slightly caused it all to melt and wet the carpets. The microwave worked and thats about it. Had a 4 night stay and was given exactly 1 half towel, all the hand rags were used to kill roaches. Utterly unnacceptable, this place needs to be delisted.

They advertise Norwood Inn has a Continental Breakfast. Staff said \"we have no breakfast. First night I asked desk manager for another Barh Towel, told check back in morning after 8 am, \"laundry room closed\". room came with 1 towel for 2 people. After 2 nights I asked is somebody going to clean our room and replace our poor excuse for linens, told by desk manager, \"it's only upon request\". Bottom line they should be charging for the rooms by the hour due to activities witnessed, non stop. I would not want my young family members around these types of events. Smell of marijuana in halls and elevator every day we were there.

I don’t usually expect much from a cheap hotel but we didn’t even stay after going to the room and seeing how disgusting it was. Elevator and halls smelled like pot. Room was horrible. The door didn’t close properly, no light above the sink, ceiling in the bathroom about to cave in, cigarette burns on the bed linens, numerous bugs, and just filthy and poorly maintained. The family didn’t even want to take off their shoes.

Simple mom and pop hotel, older hotel but they keep it clean can't beat it in the area for the money pretty safe area. Recommend if you're in town for work staying awhile or for a quick night stop.

The room I was in on the first floor I had 2 roaches in it. I was moved to a room on the fourth floor, with a nicely sized mature roach in the bathroom. Spend the extra money and stay somewhere else. If you do bring a concern to the night staff, expect a rude attitude. I cannot stress enough, you're better off dozing off in the nearby gas station than staying here. The entire building needs fumigation.

The room was not very clean and smelled overly of baby powder, and not in a good way. The cooling unit had a gap to the outside and wasn’t sealed properly. There are no “Do Not Disturb” signs at all and housekeeping was hard to get a hold of for towels; being told they didn’t have anymore big towels. Was told late check out was an option and when asked we were told there isn’t any late check out. The door at the back of the hotel has a card swipe lock but the door doesn’t close completely allowing just about anyone into the hotel.

Unfortunately, I can’t really find anything positive to say about the hotel or the staff. I wasn’t expecting anything elegant for the price point, but I would have hoped for a little better. Highlights include: more burn holes/stains than I would expect in a smoking room, but it was non-smoking; broken door locks/latches/strike plates; considerable and wide spread water damage in both rooms; missing smoke detectors; what I have to assume was the original carpeting that hasn’t seen any cleaning outside of a poor performing vacuum; tiles falling off the bathroom walls; 20yr old shower curtains, towels, and wash cloths; stained sheets, mattresses, box springs, etc. Many of the residents of the hotel were good enough people just trying to get by on disability or limited income, but I truly feel that the owners just see them as a guaranteed payment and do not care about them, their situation, or well being.
I can say the crew at the Steak n Shake next door take pride in their food, so there’s that.
Unless you have no other choice, avoid this place at all costs until Code Enforcement or the Health Department gets involved.
Had to stay the first night as we didn’t have other options, but spent $120 at Walmart buying disinfectant spray, wipes, and cheap pillows/sheets before we even attempted to lay down or touch anything. Kept the flops on the whole time, including in the shower. I’ve seen cleaner frat houses after pledge week keg parties.

Worst hotel I've ever stayed in. Blood stains and cigarette holes in the sheets, moldy shower curtain, no room service, loud fight in nearby room at 6 in the morning. One of the front desk staff was nice enough but the other was VERY rude. Do NOT stay here!!! This hotel needs to be removed from Expedia's listings!!

Stains on the, wall, sheets, pillows and beds. Was supposed to be two queens beds and it was two full beds. One bed did not have any blankets and both beds did not have a comforter. A sheet was used as a comforter. The fridge had no shelves. The showerhead, more water came out the top of it then the showerhead.. We had to tighten it back on. The vent did not work. The heater coming from the wall was coming off and made me sneeze whenever it came on. The window did not shut all the way and the curtain was broken.

Everything is stained, the bed, the sheets and the pillows. There were stains on the wall and the lampshades. The TV had a huge scratch on the front of it. The chair had pen marks all over it. The window, half of it was plexiglass that was screwed on with screws. There were no extras, no amenities, I didn’t even have a towel. I had to go down to the desk and ask for one because there’s no phone in the room. Before I got there, I was not able to get a hold of anybody on the phone. I have asked for a refund and Expedia couldn’t even get a hold of them. The faucet was very loose. The vent in the bathroom was hanging off. I went to the restroom in the middle of the night and there was a cockroach. Also patches on the wall that weren’t painted and cracks in the corners along with missing molding along the ceiling. I turned on the heater and it smelled like it was burning, and there was a sheet on the bed as a comforter.

I googled how long it would take to show symptoms of bed bugs and lice after the stay. TBD if I have either. I saw a prostitute at the nearby gas station. The smell is so powerful when you walk in. It actually was kind of a fun experience to stay in the dirtiest hotel room I've ever been in. My son kept telling me he thought we were going to be shot.

This is my first ever review, one that I feel absolutely compelled to write as a service to my fellow man. This property not only should be avoided at any cost, but probably should be condemned and demolished. The overall level of dilapidation everywhere on the property is staggering. Roaches scurrying across the vanity. Towels and bed linens with rips, tears and holes. Stains all over the tub/shower. Pulled up carpet. I could go on and on. Stay here and you likely won’t feel safe and you’ll definitely feel gross and icky the entire time. Even if you’re traveling on a budget and looking for a low-cost option, do yourself a favor and pay $5-$10 more per night to stay somewhere, anywhere else!

Very first day we get the elevator it smells like somebody been smoking marijuana.
the second day we needed towels cuz we only had one towel and one rag when we came but they had no towels or bags. they didn't have none the whole time we stayed there the room was kind of nasty the toilet was leaking water in the floor every time you flushed it because it was loose. I got a good price but honestly it wasn't even worth it

We asked for a non-smoking room, we got a room that had cigarette burns on the furniture and top blankets. The bathroom smelled of mildew and had visible mold. We stayed from 10pm-4am. We would not have stayed at all except we were too tired to drive safely at that point. We had already been on the road for more than 12 hours.

They put in me a room I didn’t reserve, with two double beds. When my key card didn’t work getting in, they put me in a room with 1 king bed, which is what I reserved. But this second room, #316, didn’t have a microwave or mini-fridge. But more frighteningly, it did Not have a smoke alarm! The bare wires were exposed where it should have gone. There was black mold in shower wall and lights above the sink barely worked. The stairs were dirty and lots of trash piled up outside the back exit door.

When I arrived with my service animal, the front desk demanded “ID” for the animal and refused check-in, even after I showed ADA guidelines. My service animal was waiting in my car and not disruptive. The hotel’s Expedia listing allows service animals, yet staff ignored federal rules. Very frustrating and inconvenient.
