Not very well maintained—cracked paint was the first thing I noticed in my room. There were stains on the sheets, which didn’t give a clean impression. Breakfast was good, with lots of options. However, I didn’t have a \"Do Not Disturb\" sign in my room, so I was very annoyed when the cleaning staff opened the door twice during my meetings. I mentioned this at checkout and was told that the signs are kept at the reception and I could have requested one. That seems like such a basic accommodation detail that should be provided in every room! So was a poor experience overall.

Loved staying here for a concert at the stadium. But this would’ve been the best location if you’re a traveler who also needs to workout out. The park across the street and pool would be perfect for a triathlete. The trams are super amazing too

My family and I stayed here and while the property looks decent, the rooms were not cleaned. The floors were disgusting and one of my pillows had what seemed like blood on the pillow case. They did not look like they were switched out or cleaned so I had to go to the receptionist and get a new set of pillows. That made me weary of the cleanliness of the bed that me and my children were laying on. Luckily we only booked for one night.

Definitely recommend!

Had a lovely time! It was my first trip to Germany and out first ever holiday together as a couple. The room was great, the staff were all really friendly and welcoming. We arrived slightly earlier than planned but the staff were happy to let us check in anyway which was a great bonus and also when it came to checking out again they were happy to accommodate us by letting us leave our bags with them until we needed to leave for the airport. The breakfast was brilliant! And really easy to navigate (especially as we didn’t initially book it with our stay). Would definitely recommend this place!

Key cards had to be reset at the front desk multiple times because being near any sort of magnet deactivates them. The shower also unfortunately had an unpleasant smell. Otherwise the breakfast was a real highlight with a good selection and the bed was pretty comfortable but nothing special. The TV didn’t have any smart features (only standard broadcast channels) but the wifi was reliable. The location is very convenient only a short walk from leonrodplatz

Great Place to Stay

The hotel was in a great location. Easy access to all transport links and also easy to walk to Olympic Stadium. Rooms were clean and modern. No noise at all was heard even though the hotel was on the main road. Would highly recommend and definitely stay again when in Munich.

Had a good trip to Munich and hotel was well situated near to 2 tram stops. The rooms had fridges in the rooms which were very handy. Nice large shower and decent sized room. Overall, we enjoyed our two nights here. We were on the 6th floor and both rooms had LARGE windows. The blackout curtains were great. We could hear traffic however just before checking out we noticed that a window was open. Rooms were clean, staff was friendly and the facility was following COVID requirements. We could easily hop on public transit and walk to the Olympic site from here.

Have been staying in many hotels in Munich. Over the years as we visit family. I think we have found the one hotel that has everything in a lovely area to explore. maybe it is a different level of service here, but the person who made up our room, when it was available for service, neglected on different occasions to replace towels, coffee mugs, drinking glasses, toiletries, and other amenities. I had to ask for one or more of these things on 3 separate occasions. When I did put out the sign to service the room, some items were still left unreplaced. The bed was always made, however, and surfaces were wiped down.

Although in photos the room looked quite cramped for a party of 3 the space was actually large! Even though we were able to have our own corner to be able to spread out our clothing, I do still wish we had drawer space for the clothes. We stopped in for one night as a stop over between vacation spots. The hotel staff were very helpful, and allowed us a little early check in, as our room was was ready. The amenities were great, the service was great and the tram runs right in front of the hotel. It is a few stops from the DB - central train station. Access to internet was good. Hotel was clean, service was good, and it was readily accessible to the Tram that got us quickly into the Munich city center. price was not cheap but I suspect part of that had to be because of Oktoberfest. Good location for woman traveller alone

I chose this hotel for a short break in Munich and being my first visit I wanted somewhere convenient to the city but also comfortable for a woman traveller alone in an unfamiliar city. The Leonardo Hotel Munich City Olympiapark was ideal; clean, comfortable, very high quality room, welcoming and helpful staff and the hotel is on the tram line 20/21 which goes between the airport train connection (north out of Munich) and Karlsplatz in the centre of the city. It takes about 20mins on the tram to get to Karlsplatz (though you can change at a U-bahn station sooner if you choose) and is easy and convenient. Also I had a great view out of my room to the Olympic Park - so I was very impressed.
