Great location for quick access to train, short walk to old town center. Large room, well appointed. Staff helpful. Area around not so nice but to be expected close to train but plenty options for good dining. Stayed here 20 years ago for World Cup and still same great attention to service.

The hotel was very well maintained. The rooms were really nice with an antique type feel. Very spacious and the amenities were nice too. The Staff was so helpful and very friendly.

The location was perfect, 10-12 minute walking distance to markplatz and five minutes to the tram or train station. It did seem a little sketchy to me as a solo traveler later at night, but the area is just busy overall so you’ll never be the only one on the street.

So many restaurants near by, didn’t have to go far either. The restaurant/bar inside the hotel was really nice and convenient as well.

The only down side was the construction across the street, but it’s an only temporary. But having a room on the side of street side, I heard the tram and that Friday night I guess the bar across the street turned into a club. So it was a bit noisy.

I drove from Stuttgart and I was able to park my car behind the hotel in the parking lot.

Overall very good stay for me and my fur baby.

Breakfast was very good! Staff (especially the chef in the morning breakfast area) were really lovely, helpful and friendly. Room was small but comfortable, and I liked that if you chose to forgo housekeeping you could get \"credits\" that you could use to buy soda or snacks - what a neat idea! Location is great - super close to the train station and an easy walk to Marienplatz and the tourist sites.

The room was spotless.
Breakfast was great, lots of choice, I'd recommend the scrambled eggs, delicious.
The staff were all very friendly, and the restaurant area was great for a coffee.
Just a couple of things,
We didn’t seem to be able to sort out the heating, a staff member did come and investigate and he thought it was fixed, but it was chilly in the evening and very warm overnight.
With a double room, 2 chairs would have been nice.
Saying that we had a fabulous time and would highly recommend the King's FH

A great choice for our Munich stay. It is a short walk from the old town, so a great location. The room was great. The breakfast was great with lots of choice. The gentlemen waiters at breakfast were so lovely and so efficient. We loved to relax in the bar/ lounge area for a night cap and chat about our adventures that day. I love the incentive the hotel use...if you don't have the housekeeping do your daily room clean then you hang a the supplied bag on the door and you get a voucher worth €10 to spend in the bar or on food. Overall...10/10!!

Hotel was nicely decorated for the holidays, though we couldn't enjoy the lounge area due to the smoke. Appreciated the lemon water available by reception. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

Expedia bookers beware that if you select a double comfort room which CLEARLY shows two beds- either two twins or a double and a twin-you will likely end up with a single queen bed. When I got to the room and discovered this, I immediately went downstairs to say hey I booked a room with two beds and was told that because I booked it through Expedia I would just get what they had left because it was a third party booking. I was then assured that the blankets on the bed came apart to make two separate blankets. I guess that somehow made up for not having the extra bed we booked and paid for?!?!

I want to be clear- my friend and I spent nine days traveling between Germany and Austria- we booked every single hotel through Expedia and every hotel was exactly what we selected except this one. I was beyond unhappy about this hotel stay and the level of service and response I got.

The noise level from the street was loud even on the fourth floor, the bed was quaint and cute but the mattress was terrible and again lacking the extra bed. I’m struggling to find nice things to say after a night where I got no sleep before a 24 hour travel day.

My stay at KING’s HOTEL First was fantastic. The location is excellent—within easy walking distance to the city center. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the breakfast was outstanding with a wide variety of options, including fresh juices and mimosas. The room was on the smaller side, but very clean and cozy. I would definitely stay here again on my next visit to Munich.

Beautiful hotel but despite it saying check in available until 4am we were locked out and unable to check in when we arrived just before midnight. My friend phoned the hotel twice with no answer. I tried t contact via app but nothing. Luckily a man wanting to check into the hotel across the road was in the same boat and was able to help us by speaking German to the night manager when he eventually got hold of him. He phoned this hotel from the opposite hotel and explained the issue. The night manager eventually arrived at the opposite hotel and then walked us over and checked us in correctly.
Room was stunning. Apart from this it was amazing.

It’s a nice hotel. Clean, classy. Price was reasonable. I don’t know the precise location but it’s walking distance from the key city center places like Karlsplatz and Marienplatz. Also an U-Bahn/S-Bahn station very close by. I stayed for two nights in a single-person room; not large but quite sufficient for my purposes - just to sleep. There looks to be a nice bar/restaurant in the lobby but I didn’t eat there. Definitely will consider it on a future stay.

We recently spent a week at this hotel and were beyond impressed. From the helpful front desk to the clean and comfortable room, we would highly recommend this hotel. It's proximity to the train station and Marienplatz was an added bonus, as were the free drink tickets. We used them all!! An A+ experience which we hope to do again some day.

Surrounding area feels a bit unsafe to walk around after sunset.

Front desk staffs are definitely lovely and very helpful!

There was an older not-so-gentlemen who serve the breakfast area that keeps asking if we have finished with our cups and plates even though we were still eating. Not sure if he really needed the table for other guests or if the hotel doesn’t have enough cups and plates.

The room was okay, not the cleanest among the hotels we’ve stayed at during our trip. Bath gel and shampoo don’t feel great.

Our room has a kitchen which is a plus.

Overall good property. Rooms are spacious but bathrooms are small but not inconsistent with other properties we have stayed at in Europe. Parking was super convenient - lot was right next to property! We had booked a tour with Radius Tours and our meeting place was literally 1/2 a block up from the hotel! Super convenient to walk to many good dining options. Breakfast was adequate - many choices but not as plentiful as other properties we have stayed at in Europe.

Great hotel. Conveniently located close to the Munich HB and other sights. Unfortunately a lot of construction near the hotel. The Reception gave us a room on the higher floor. The staff at the hotel were very friendly and accommodating. I would highly recommend this hotel.

This hotel is very outdated - the room did not even have a phone to call the front desk.

The room was clean but small - we booked a Family Room which looked much bigger on the photos than in person.

The location is very close to the railway station which is great but I also want to mention that the street cars and buses run right outside of your window and people on the streets shout in the middle of the night... If you are a sensitive to noises and need to have a quiet room for sleeping, you should think twice.

Location is close to subway and within walking distance of quite a few of the main attractions in Munich such as Marienplatz, Hofbrauhas, & Le Residenz. If you don't need your room cleaned daily, hotel will give you a 10 Euro voucher for each day you skip cleaning (minimum 2 night stay require) to use in the bar or buffet. Check in was easy and staff were polite and helpful.

Trip was cancelled. Tried to get out on multiple days and all fights were cancelled. Spent 47 hours in an airport trying my hardest. Contacted kings and they wouldn’t even offer a partial refund. I do understand the cancellation policy but I literally could not get there no matter how hard I tried. Customer service was severely lacking!
