Pros: location, amazing and beautiful views, great outdoor pool and common area bbq. A very spacious penthouse apartment with spacious rooms and bathrooms. A few steps to the beach, restaurants, and bus stops.

Cons: dirty chairs and very limited seating, dining table with paint peeling off. Outside seats are torn and terribly stained. Carpet is loose and worn. Very limited kitchen, only small electric appliances are: toaster, kettle and microwave, one thing in excess was plates. No teapot, no tea, coffee, sugar, salt pepper, etc provided. They only supply a single one time use dishwashing soap package, one single soap tab for dishwasher and one single package of laundry detergent and no garbage bags for a 7 day, 7 person rental and only provide 2 rolls of toilet paper per bathroom and two hotel sized shampoo and conditioner. (This rental only provides very basic needs, so one has to purchase everything.) No paper towels, only one cleaning cloth for dishwashing and two kitchen towels. Windows on balcony were not cleaned. Bbq in apartment was broken and unusable. Three hand towels, six bath towels, no beach towels (found out at the end is the stay that reception has beach towels) and one blanket per bed. Light bulbs were burned out and only one small light in the living room area, so was extremely dark inside at night. No cleaning supplies are provided. Jacuzzi in apartment was dirty & broken, and bathroom fans didn’t work, as well as light in hood fan.

Spa not working, apartment was not cleaned pillows were terrible and had interesting Stains on them. Mould on the roof outdoor furniture old and rusty. Ocean view but was basically on the 4th floor in-front of the trees. No extra towels provided, very old tv with no options for Netflix or other channels. Dirty dishes no clean glassware. Pretty disappointing with our stay, we were looking forward to the spa for it to be out of use.

The view from our room was awesome. We really loved the whole experience. The kids love the pool and very convenient as the lagoon is just across from the apartment. The only let down is that there's no aircon in the bedrooms as we have to use the fan to blow cool air into our room. The sliding is really hard to open to go in the balcony it keeps jumping off its track. But other than that we were happy and relaxed with our stay.

Property was perfect location! Beautiful views…and great feel.
On a whole quiet…except on the weekend when the Bar gets a little rowdy! But you get that.
Pool perfect temperature.
Walking distance to good food…and short drive to shopping centres!
Would stay again in a heartbeat!

Might just add the bathroom sink is very slow draining…might need a declog…but that the only negative!

I booked this for my family of four for days based on reviews but I am happy and will not come back again. On the day of check in, the lady at the reception was on the phone talking to someone, she didn’t even greet me and I was waiting for about five minutes until she finishes her call and got my keys. The unit is spacious but dusty everywhere. For four days and four persons they provided only four bath towels, no hand or face towels. We have brought all our toiletries so that’s not problem to us but everything else was provided very minimum and need to buy if we need more. I have stayed in some roadside motels and they had better facilities & amenities.

The hotel is on the esplanade close to reasonably priced restaurants and an excellent fish and chip shop ,which feeds the pelicans every afternoon at 1:30
We had a terrible \"pub\" meals roast of the day lamb was poor ,huge amount of chunks of meat almost inedible
The main problem for me was I have a walker and there are no ramps except through the pub dining room or through the car park to access the outside.The lady at reception was quite aggressive when I mentioned it ... not the hotel's responsibility to have a ramp.
When we arrived there were poor directions as to facilities eg how to work fans,and we were not supplied with sufficient dishwasher powder or garbage bags.

The location was perfect and the staff friendly. It has great breakfast/dining options all close by and walking distance. My only feedback there was no quilt on the beds and the thin blankets provided was not ample especially in winter time. Otherwise everything was excellent!

We loved our stay here in the 2 bedroom Seaview room . Lots of space for a family and great views of Broadwater . The best part was the pool
And spa . The pool temperature was so warm and lovely to swim in and was open until 9pm . Terrific . The location across from the lagoon was great . We loved swimming with the fish .
Could do with a face washer and tissues in the room and shower was a bit dark inside but a good size.

Lots of places to eat close by but need a car to go to the supermarket .
Secure parking and a short drive to attractions but nice to be out of the hustle and bustle .
We would stay again 😀

Totally Satisfied with my Stay.

I stayed there for 5 nights. My family visited me. The Restaurant made the Children very welcome. Big meals for 1 person. Very good menu. I met Jenny on reception she was very helpful with Checking In and Checking out. I will definitely stay there again.

On arrival the apartment was not ready, after a long wait it was handed over at 3.07 pm instead of 2 pm. The apartment was not cleaned properly, the dinning floor area was not mopped ( had to call the cleaner immediately after the handover to get it cleaned), the toilet floor was not mopped as well, laundry dryer filter was not cleaned. Also there was no smart tv to enjoy entertainments, after a while we noticed dirt on our feet from the carpet though it was looking visibly clean. They did not provide any tissue box in the apartment. Only positivity was the ocean view from the apartment. Not worthy for the price you pay. Service is terrible.

This hotel was great. Lovely amenities, great location. Room was clean and presentable, air conditioned and ceiling fans made for a nice cool room.

Only downfalls were a few of the receptionists.
Very rude and uninviting to hotel guests.
Also, some of the older permanent residents were quite rude to my young children trying to enjoy the pool.
It felt very much there was an “us and them” type division between hotel guests and permanent residents.

I booked an apartment for a training I was attending on the Gold Coast (I live in Brisbane) . I ended up not staying even 1 night .

I arrived at 6pm the first day. Never been to this place before . There was a front and back reception area which was closed. I had to speak to someone on an intercom that only lasted a couple mins then cuts out . Not good customer service . Couldn’t open my room door after instructions from reception. (On the phone) I had to talk to the same person via the intercom so took my luggage to do so & a carton of water I left at the door . I was gone less than 10min & came back to find the water taken .
I felt frustrated & unsafe as a woman on my own . I complained but was gaslit . I will never return

Stayed a week. The room was newly renovated and nicely decorated. Stayed in the 3rd floor and had water views over the pool. The pool was heated and always enjoyable to swim in day or night. The room had everything we needed for our stay. Close to the theme parks and restaurants were all walkable with many choices. I would absolutely stay here again.

Unfortunately hotel.com had their price in US dollars and was very misleading, so the price was alot higher when I was charged.

Bed was uncomfortable and there was mould in the shower.

This apartment was filthy and cold, you weren’t allowed to adjust settings or face a $100 fine. Only one sheet on the bed and 1 blanket in cupboard. Pool closed the whole 10 days and we had no prior knowledge of this even though school holidays. No tissues or facewashers or bin bags. Staff changed bedding after 5 days and didn’t even empty bins or give extra toiletries etc. Very questionable marks in the bed skirt which was disgusting. Also very loud in the 12 floor as windows didn’t shut properly and were filled with cupboard. There were ongoing maintenance issues our whole stay and it was a joke, I did reach out to this place via email twice before writing this review asking for an explanation but both emails were ignored. This is the first review I have ever written and it’s just to warn people about the hygiene issues at this place. Great location but that is all this accommodation has to offer. I am from Tasmania and I slept terrible due to the cold. Perhaps you could of avoided this review if you had of cared to respond, pictures shown of rooms that are updated and nothing like what we paid for. Very poor form,

The apartment is sold as a two bedroom but it is really a one bedroom, the other room has broken louvre doors separating it from the kitchen area and were not floor to ceiling so no sound barrier, no wall just this divider. No wardrobe in so called second bedroom. Marks on all surfaces, cheap broken fittings, louvre doors on balcony did not work, outdoor sofa was no worn we did not want to sit on it. Overall a very disappointing experience for the money spent for only two nights. It is definitely not a Luxury four star establishment. Pool and spa were nice but only allowed two people in spa and gym at one time! Overall disappointing.

We got the incorrect room that was advertised! When we arrived the room was dirty! I informed staff and they had someone come and re clean. No cleaning equipment in the apartment, only 1 dish cloth, the balcony was covered in black mould!! Furniture outside was covered in black mould and all the outside shutters! The location is great but the room was very very disappointing! Advertised 50” tv but it was only tiny, only one air conditioner!

Couldnt arrive til 6:00 another car in allocated car park so had to park outside. Then got message following morning on first morning off for ages had to be downstairs by 10 to book in or key deactivated. Room was lovely though, although when i took sheets of bed (i always do that when i leave) on the mattress protector was hair strands and false eyelashes yew (not mine) so mattress protector not changed only sheets. Lovely view, pool lovely, hotel food very nice. Close to everything. Has everything you need, I would stay again, but late check in needs improving and please wash mattress protectors

Decent view and ample space. Beds a little uncomfortable and unfortunately bathroom smelt like a public toilet throughout the entire stay - with no way of getting rid of the smell despite multiple attempts (glen 20 etc)

Raised this with staff the first day and despite assurances cleaners were going to attend, there was no sign of them the entire stay or even with any followup. Disappointing.

This is an ideal place for a family or a short stay. The hotel staff are friendly and helpful and there is a well stocked rack of tour brochures. The heated pool and spa are sparkling and its opposite a safe beach for young children. On both occassions when we have stayed here, the apartments have been very clean, well stocked and comfortable. Its quiet but there are plenty of food outlets in walking distance or only a short drive away.

Only 1 bathroom in an apartment with 5 people was at time a struggle and the kitchen walls were damaged and had a few holes. There was drawing/writing on one of the walls also.
The overall facilities, pool etc were amazing.

Great place, tidy, location and views but this place is so hot with little air flow even with the doors open.

That wouldn't be a problem if the air conditioning was able to be used but there was a warning saying if you used below a set temperature of 24 degrees it could freeze the conditioner unit and we would be charged a call out fee.

I think this is poor and ranks more of someone being tight with maintenance. Based on this one item I would not recommend anyone stay here if air conditioning was something they wanted.

If this was a hotel you would be moved to another room.

I liked the suite, the view the independent amenities in the room, but I didnt like that the airconditioning in the room was never cool when I had it on 18, it just doesnt work to provide the given temperature. Plus the hall ways are not air conditioned either, but level 2 is. So its giving a good impression on entering, but leaves a lot to be desired on other floors (air conditioning only. The rest of the hotel is lovely and the girls at the front are nice too. If the aircon was up to scratch it would be a 5 star.

the hotel does not have 24 hour reception making it difficult to check in and depart,they ask for a card in addition to the fully paid accomodation then after you leave they debit the card fraudulantly for services you did not have in my case $240.00. when queried the hotel refuses to engage in addition the form you sign and hand in they change to enable the extra bill in a differnet hand writing and different colour pen criminal
