The resort is old and tired but they’ve done the best they can especially for a family resort. We would never stay there again purely because it was really difficult with our baby ( cot) and older child. If they had 2 bedroom units we would!

Great being able to enter SeaWorld from the resort.

Your variable room pricing shouldn’t be able to go up to $500 per night when you’ve got cockroaches and lizards in your room. Renovate your rooms then you can charge this much per night.

Clean, modern room with plenty of privacy. We had a blast during the New Year's Eve poolside party and fireworks. Daily events for kids and easy access to Sea World through the gift shop. Multiple dining options onsite and ample parking. Perfect holiday resort for families. Will be going back!

I had an overall good time here. I had 2 issues:
-When first walking into the room, there was a lot of leaves, dust and dirt that had blown under the door. The door had no rubber seal at the bottom to prevent this, so your first impression of the room is stepping onto a dirty floor. I understand nature will do its own thing, but a rubber thing on the bottom would help prevent this.
-when checking in I asked about the Sea world entry passes that were apart of my package. I asked when I would receive the other tickets as I only got 1. (The package said 4 tickets per day of stay). I got told as I was the only one staying that I am the only one getting a ticket. I said that I would like to bring the baby I was looking after to sea world, and got told I would have to add them to my reservation for $60/ night extra, or buy a day pass. I googled to buy a pass and it said children under 3 are free. When I asked again, the girl confirmed that. When receiving the email of the first ticket, the information given by Sea world was not helpful, it had no details and no information. This mixed with being told the wrong thing by the front desk added more confusion. Once looking at the reservation info again, it did not state that it was 1 ticket per who was staying, it just said 4. So sea world then had to supply another ticket, as per the contract for the reservation. It added a whole lot of issues, in which should have been a nice relaxing stay.

The room was ok. There was a previous guests hair on the benchseat.
The bed was very uncomfortable, the mattress is too hard, every morning i woke up with a sore back.
The walls are very thin, as you can hear everything going on outside and what your neighbours are doing.

the room purchased was supposed to have 4 tickets to seaworld. because i’d accidentally put one adult and one child in the booking; the reception staff can’t compute that, like total basic dysfunctional temu robots. they gave me one ticket and made me pay for the other. fyi temu robot, if i had put 2 adults in the booking, the price would have been exactly the same. the cost is per room to a max of five occupants (3 adults and 2 children)… whether one person stayed or five people stayed - exact same cost. i want a refund and i’ll take this up with QCAT.

The room was very comfortable for my sister and her two grandsons. It had a balcony with a beautiful view of gardens. The boys loved the pool and resort facilities and enjoyed a delicious buffet breakfast with their now favourite Nanna! Its close proximity to Sea World was a bonus as it made life simple and easy.
Tickets for Sae World and Movie World were included and made their stay amazing! Best time ever for kids! My 71 yo sister is still recovering lol!

Nice resort, better than expected. The Japanese restaurant was impressive and the cafe had good coffee and breakfast options and reasonably priced. Yes the walls are a bit thin in the rooms but it’s a family resort, our kids were excited so they were noisy so I can’t complain about our neighbours. We’d stay there again.

This is our third or fourth stay. We. Loved our stay. Staff were super friendly and helpful. No issues whatsoever. The resort is really family friendly with few dining options.
The buffet restaurant was wonderful with heaps of options for breakfast and dinner. The Italian wasn't authentic Italian but it was ok.
The only suggestion is the water slide was too cold for the kids to go on so they chose to stay in the swimming pool. So I REALLY hope that the hotel invest in heating up the water used in the slide and the big bucket area so more kids can use that area. Thanks

The Sea World resort was connected to Sea World so it was so convenient to enter and also the surroundings views were awesome. There is decent water park inside the resort. We loved the morning buffet breakfast. The early check-in provided was wondering gesture. The dinner options is limited so we had to drive 10 mins to Surfer Paradise for more options.

We enjoyed the stay. Nice family- friendly environment. Breastfast buffet was enjoyable. We also went to SeaWorld during our stay. Negatives were we booked two rooms for 8 people and stipulated all the childrens ages (9, 7, 4, 2 & 1) only to not receive a conjoined room. It split the family up and meant carrying sleeping children between rooms.

Before entering Sea World, I asked reception if we could please borrow some towels for the kids. Reception said to ask Concierge. At concierge, the staff member said other than paid experiences, there are no water areas at Sea World that would require towels. Then he added there is a splash pad but said the kids \"won't get too wet and definitely won't stay wet in this weather\". I listened to him .. then later heavily regretted this decision. The splash pad absolutely saturates the kids and so does the pirate ship ride when you first enter the park from the resort. Yes, it was a warm day but it was windy and it is not comfy to sit in wet togs for hours.

Also on arrival, I asked to pay for 1pm check-out, the staff member asked if she could use the card on file to charge for that, to which I said yes. The next day, at 11am, my phone rung 3 times back to back in 5mins, while we were watching the dolphin show. It was Sea World Resort ringing to ask if we were coming to check out. The staff from the day before did not process the late check out or leave any notes on file.

Absolutely ideal for families. Loads of space for the kids to have fun around the property and easy access to SeaWorld. No monorail any more which was a shame but still an easy walk down into the park. We would definitely stay again. Staff were really lovely too.

Extremely overpriced for this condition and service. The booking includes tickets to the amusement parks, but the wording is very misleading, so keep in mind that you should specify the number of quests to see the price and book tickets for all. With that said, the staff is very helpful and nice, the pool is heated and overall impression is ok

This place is like a well oiled machine, they know there unique place within the Tourism sector on the Gold Coast and they go happily about trying to exceed their Guests expectations. We chose express Check-in which was seamless & informative before we arrived & checkout was a breeze. Concierge Desk was very helpful & the Dining options were varied & delicious. A special mention to Housekeeping as our Water View, balcony room was exceptionally clean & spacious. Very family oriented & they cater to the kids beautifully. Obviously avoid School Holidays & high peak times which can get noisy if that is an issue for you. We are a mature couple however & still had a blast. There’s something for everyone here! The Magical feels brought out our inner child & we just loved our stay. Friendly, hospitable staff abounded in all areas of SeaWorld. We made use of our 4 Theme Park tickets package for the duration of our stay which was incredible value.
Whilst there it was easy access to the SeaWorld Cruises & our Buffet Lunch was so relaxing. We also used the Hopo Ferry with an all Day hop on hop off ticket. It stops @ various spots along the way to Surfers Paradise including HOTA where we ate lunch @ the Cafe & checked out the Art Gallery & 360 views from the top of HOTA
So much to see & do you are spoilt for choice.
Good to Note there is also Public Bus Transport just outside on the main rd of SeaWorld that for 50cents will take you anywhere along the Coast.

Overall great place to stay if you are visiting the Gold Coast. We went during Christmas in July period where there were extra activities for kids and a special dinner buffet: which is a must try. Breakfast offering was abundant and resort appears to be well equipped for a family of 4. Even though our room included free entry into 4 theme parks, the kids would have been happy to stay at the resort all day and play in the pool. Only negative would be resort is showing its age and in need of some renovations. Most importantly the kids had a great time and said they would be happy to return.

Had a 3 night stay here- great value for money especially if you can get the theme park tickets and breakfast included. Breakfast was busy but as we got there early we never had to wait. Stayed on the first floor in the park wing and it was great being able to walk straight out to the pool. We had dinner one night at Melrose and another at the Lobby Lounge bar- food was great in both places especially the Nutella pizza from Melrose. Would stay again! Just be aware that due to current tram line works- the trip to the airport can take well over an hr.

Pros: Perfect hotel for families with kids. Good range of food options, great entertainment for the kids (discos etc). Easy access to sea world, staff were pleasant and polite. Concierge took our bags to our room on arrival. Room cleaned every day.
Cons: rooms have been renovated to a poor standard, sea world resort should sue the building company. Towel racks hanging on by a thread, poor craftsmanship around the bathroom (things badly installed etc).
My kids crocs were stolen on our first night here, staff were happy to log as lost property, but no further assistance given (for example looking at cameras to see who took them).

Pros outweigh the cons, it was a great holiday and would definitely stay again in the future.

Location: The resort is conveniently connected to the seaworld theme park, and it's very easy to get in and out. It is a half hour-ish drive to other theme parks, about 10mins to Australia fair mall and Broadwater parklands. Parking was okay for the most part but we were here in the low-period so it'll be chaos when it's busier.

Facilities: The water play area was great and a big hit for my two toddlers. I used the gym and the spa which were good but nothing to get excited about. Lots of activities available for children and regular appearances by exciting cartoon friends.

Food: The breakfast was lovely, there were plenty of options. We also tried the midwinter Christmas buffet and it was delicious. Unfortunately didn't get around to trying the Japanese, and the pasta restaurant was just okay.

Room: just a basic room, nothing to complain about or get excited about. It was clean and comfortable, and we had enough space to spread out.

Conclusion: one of the best places we've travelled to specifically for our kids. Will definitely recommend to young families. Every staff member we interacted with was absolutely lovely, helpful and friendly.

What a fantastic stay! I was worried about staying in a hotel room with all my family, but we did not even notice. Rooms were quiet, clean, comfortable beds. The fact you get access to SeaWorld as many times as you want, was amazing. It was not far to places. The staff were fantastic. All lovely especially the buffet breakfast staff. Even though there was a bit of a wait to get in there, the staff handled it all very well. Great place to stay! Would definitely recommend!
