Noisy from the constant traffic on marine parade. Staff were nice, but the weekly serviced consisted of a change of sheets and bathroom cleaned, which was immaculate. However, windows were filthy, still finger prints on from a small child, nothing got vacuumed, mopped, kitchen didn’t get cleaned, the unit was so dusty. I was there when the service took place so could see what was being cleaned.

This unit should not be let out ,lounge was broken so they put two chairs in over crowded, door came off and wouldn’t slide, blind was broken, bed was dreadful,jug was black couldn’t make tea. Worst unit we have been in. Wouldn’t recommend to staying there.

Not a good place to stay. We stayed 5nights and 4nights No power, No electricity. All they can say is Sorry. Acc. to the electrician, the property management did not do any maintenance with their electricity that’s why the power tripped. No emergency exit lights.

Have to say...we wanted to give this apartment a fair go after reading negative comments.....we should have taken note.
We were so disappointed with the lack of cleanliness from the minute we entered the apartment.
Unfortunately the property was fully booked so even if we had made a complaint initially, the options would have been nil..
Doors and walls were grubby and finger marked, utensils needed washing before using, the carpet felt sticky and unclean, bed linen had stains....apartment was in need of renovation...particularly the sliding doors, which were almost impossible to open, curtains were shabby and inadequate as they did not 'meet' so lighting from street kept us awake, as did the constant road noise and blaring TV's from other apartments. Lighting inadequate...maybe to conceal the grubby walls?
Hot water cylinder in the bedroom wardrobe constantly dripped during the night
We approached Hotels.com and they suggested contacting Reception of this 'Resort' which we did...
His response was that this property is 25 yrs old, 3.5 star not 5 star. That other people have never had issues with lack of cleanliness.
Did admit tha this apartment is in need of re-painting and renovation but that it was always occupied so unable to do those tasks.
In our opinion, it doesn't matter how 'old' a property is, there is no excuse for lack of cleanliness and if the apartment is in need of renovation, then do not 'sell' unless those matters have been attended to...

This place was the worst place I have ever stayed in. False advertising no heated pool the kids room is in the car basement with not many things to entertain children some products were broken and you need money for them. Alot of the units are privately owned with alot of older people we were told on arriving to make sure we keep it down. So disgusted we didn't stay the whole time weren't given a refund for at least the 2nights we didn't stay I saved up for that and it was my Birthday present to myself and they totally ruined it. The female was not having a bar of it wouldn't even compromise just bad all around

Property manager tries to charge extra to line his own pockets.

Booked on Expedia for 2 adults and 1 child (clearly showing the extra child charge on receipt). Hotel manager wanted additional $50 to provide bed for child. He said we paid Expedia to have child in room but not for them to have a bed .. Ridiculous conversation & we refused to pay.. I wonder how many times he’s got away with that trick.

Unfortunately the cleanliness wasn't the best. Two of the top blankets had a strong \"sweaty man\" smell. My wife approached the staff and asked for fresh blankets or free laundry detergent so we could wash them. They gave us laundry detergent. There were toenail clippings all over the balcony. Our particular apartment had a strong curry smell to it. Some of the glasses and bowls were dirty (but that is supposed to be the previous guests responsibility to clean). The oven did not work, however we informed reception and they had someone come and fix it. The kids gaming room was situated in the carpark basement which we didn't expect and we personally didn't think that was a suitable place for it due to the lack of air flow and being dark and isolated. There was no air conditioning in the bedroom, it was only the living room and the fan provided was very weak.

On a positive note, the resort was in a convenient and great location, the gardens on the grounds were nicely kept and the pool was clean. The pillows were comfortable and the apartment had lots of cutlery, bowls, cooking utensils and a large fridge.

Overall, the place is older and naturally is run down a little, however, if the cleanliness improves, this would be a good budget accommodation for those looking for something basic.

Great view. Great position. Pool area was not inviting. The pool was green and the surrounding area needed a tidy up. The lift was small but there was no social distancing. There was hand sanitiser in the foyer. The bed was comfy but not the lounge.

The staff are most welcoming and friendly. The property is well located at Biggera Waters, with beautiful waterfront walks to be had just opposite. It is within easy walking distance to cafes and the popular Grand Hotel.
Great to have undercover free security parking.
We had a front one bedroom apartment, which was comfortable. It could do with a new lounge though.
The bed was very comfortable and there was a fan which was great. The aircon from the lounge area kept the whole place cool.
Overall for an inexpensive stay we were happy.
Have just booked a tent in the NT for twice the price!! So yes great!

Lounge was very dirty, the bedspreads were stained.
The bathroom is all cracked tiles etc
The kitchen is poorly equipped.
The internet reception was very poor being on the ground floor.
The photo in the Advert is nothing like the brick wall we looked at. Very misleading and very run down.
The guy at the desk was friendly.
The Airconditioner worked
Would not book again through wotif if this is the sort of accommodation offered and not what the picture showed!!!!!!!

Very clean and had well stocked kitchen so could cook meals. My son loved having free access to Foxtel. Only downside was that the aircon was only in living/kitchen area & the bedroom had only a fan so was a bit hot at night esp as stayed in summer.

It is located close to water with water veiws. The area is well serviced with food outlets and shops. The bedding may have had bed buds, my partner, myself and our 1 year old child would wake up in the morning with fresh bites. The bedding did not appear like it had been cleaned. The cook top did not work so was not able to cook meals, which was disappointing because that was one of the features that drew us to the appartment.

Apartment was quiet and adequate for one night. Unfortunately I checked in on Xmas day. I received a text the night before giving my room number and entrance safe codes which I memorised. I got in fine, retrieved an envelope with my name and room number again and the registration form inside had the same number. But the room was occupied by a large family. I rang the after hours number. No reply. Very upsetting. I rang my daughter to pick me back up and was resigned to a night on her floor when I happened to look at the key tag. It was a completely different room!! Reception finally rang back and their response was “oh yes - sorry we had to put you in a different room—- “ said with such nonchalance as if it was normal! How difficult would it have been to change the registration form and the envelope with the new information. I was not impressed.

Good value basic accommodation - good location

We booked fairly last minute to be near an event without considering the property much, so expectations not high. In fact it was a really pleasant inexpensive stay.
- Had a 2br apartment with partial ocean view on rooftop deck.
- Large unit, a bit tired but had everything we needed
- Very hot weekend and the AC was good in all rooms
- Foxtel
- Swimming pool not large but was in good condition (clean, maintained)
- Walking distance from several restaurants/pubs and an excellent fish shop with takeaway
- Water opposite (we didn't swim but others were)

When we walked in the aircon didn’t work and the remotes were outdated. The water pressure for the shower was very poor. The walls had marks and needed a repaint freshen up, made the apartment feel dirty. The tiles were outdated which made them look dirty. We booked out a family apartment that stated it would sleep upto 5 people. There is no way there would be room for a family to watch Tele, sleep etc. the layout is very pokey. False advertising and very disorganised on arrival. We have personally stayed in more comfortable motels for half the price. I wouldn’t recommend nor would I book to stay ever again. Staff are very unprofessional and the keys to the room had dirty cartoon figurines attached to them. They obviously aren’t following COVID procedures. It’s defintely not sanitary regardless at the best of times

I liked the fact that Windsurfer Resort, was close to the Broadwater but what i didn't like was that the Unit wasn't clean at all which I had to vacuum and clean myself because it was filthy and dirty plus the Unit did not smell nice when you enter. So I had to buy a Nice Smelling Spray to make our stay feel like we were at home and the shower head was broken and the water pressure was very hard and it hurt having a Shower. The price they charge was not worth it for the filthy room that I was given! Manager needs to communicate with Owners of what Owners needs to do within their Units. Kitchen sink was leaking and Bathroom was Discusting! I would give our Stay 2 out 10.

The property was in a beautiful location and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The property itself was very rundown and needs some TLC. Upstairs where the kids slept was very hot with no fans or aircon in that area. Most of the blinds and curtains were broken, the tv remote not working, washing machine was broken dryer was broken overall not good for the price.

Old, outdated. Shower screen wouldn’t slide - kept getting stuck in shower. Dining table was extremely wobbly to the point we weren’t game to use it. The selling point was location, but won’t be staying there again due to the condition of the room and furniture. Really only big enough for two - definitely not a family room.

We only stayed for a rainy weekend, however the pool and bbq area looked lovely , clean and tropical. The view from our room, out over the water was ideal. The room was quite aged but very clean. Work really needs to be done on the bathroom, broken and chipped tiles made it feel dirty, when it really was quite clean. The sofa probably would be better to be leather or something that could be wiped, as it is quite grubby. Apart from that, room 26, has a great view and a really good bed, rare in a rental.

We are so happy with this stay! Checkin was a breeze, with a security code given so we could come in and get the keys. We stayed in apartment 31 on level 2. Views are stunning. The place is quiet but close to all amenities including wet n wild, Warner bros etc.
Downstairs there is kitchen, lounge and laundry and spare toilet. Also a small terrace with table and chairs. Upstairs the main bedroom and two single beds in the area between bathroom and kids bed. Again a small terrace to hang clothes.
The pool, barbecue and jacuzzi area is excellent.
We are giving 5 stars as we got a lot for our money, however to get the stay more comfortable we suggest buying some extra crockery and pans/pots. If you could add a dishwasher it would make the stay even more amazing.

Only 1minute of hot water in shower, bedroom was tiny I could hardly open my bag in, hard to find a park under the building as people taking up room with there extra stuff, the room is rundown blanket has cigarette holes in it , pictures on the wall have cracks in the glass, the lounge was a sofa bed which added to how uncomfortable it was, on the last night as I went to bed at 10:30 the people below me decided to have a party music playing and smoking which was coming in my window which I had to have open because it was they only way to get fresh air in the room , the doors in the room don’t fit in the jam always popping open while you were on the toilet

Price is good, but you get what you pay for. Overall lay out of the apartment is good. The bed however was not very comfortable. We could hear the people above us walking around. The room was in need of some renovating. Location is great, directly opposite the Broadwater which we swam at. We made use of the pool and spa. Would stay again if on a budget.

All looks good , but it bites

Arrived at the resort could not find the street no , but luckily the sign was up to identify the so-called resort , the person on duty was very hard to understand and softly spoken which made things worse . We finally got to the room and you could see the place needed maintenance that’s moving from there stems , blinds missing hanging clips which made them sag all over letting light when it was not wanted the balcony table had not been cleaned in months , the bed was saggin in the middle the bathroom fan didn’t work the shower screens didn’t close properly and the room had a weird musty odour all in all a woefull experience

Comfortable stay on the Broadwater

I had a very pleasant stay with views of the Broadwater, plenty of sunshine and lots of walking paths. Eating venues are all within walking distance from resort. I had a great week which was very calming to the soul.

disappointing stay, not worth the money!

Overall the stay was pretty disappointing, After two days we had to move into another apartment as the owner of the one we stayed returned (in all fairness though, we were made aware of that) The new apartment was only half the size of the first, which was something we were not told, we were only told that it had sea view. Kitchen was at best a kitchenette with really only the bare basics in it. The whole place could have used some good cleaning. The door handle to the balcony fell off when our daughter tried to open the door, we informed the management, but nothing was done about it. Wifi is only 500 mb per day and the reception was not the best. In the master bed room the aircon kep banging all night, so peaceful sleeping was out of the question. Would we stay there again? NO way!

Nice and pleasant place to stay, problem with exiting car park area when vehicles are parked along side the control OK when not one there but difficult when there is. Bed settee needs replacing as you sink into it. Otherwise very nice

Good hotel but lots of maintenance required inside

In need of serious renovation the pool and spa are the positive factors,no fan in the lift and undercover area is smelly specially around the bins

A good stay if you're looking for a cheap and best hotel. Only set back is the location as it's a little inside from the main road and takes about a 5 min walk to the nearest bus stop

VERY VERY small apartment (couldn't even turn around in kitchen without hitting cupboard or fridge). Very noisy AC compressor and had no fan in bedroom made for a very uncomfortable sleep in Dec heat.

Outside good, inside not so good

The outside of the resort is presentable and kept neat and tidy. Our room however was disappointing. Staff had sprayed so much deodoriser that it took 2days for the apartment to loose the strong fragrance smell. While everything in a general sense was clean the apartment itself was very run down. Carpet was extremely worn out, desperately needs a paint, upstairs air conditioner didn’t work and downstairs one didn’t do much either. While the price was lower than others it definitely wasn’t worth saving myself a few hundred bucks to stay here.

Very quiet & relaxing environment

Very secure premises & comfy room with a nice view of the beach from my balcony. Transport close by to go to all the theme parks & other tourist spots like surfers paradise.
