The property is in a relatively quiet location comparing to the surfer’s paradise area! It’s off the main beach which is just as nice any other beaches! We can see beautiful sunrise in our beds! It’s got everything you need for a lovely relaxing holiday. Highly recommended!

There was poor prior communication about checking into the hotel. The hostess was very unfriendly and it appeared that it was a chore checking us in.
Poor Aircondition system did not reach all bedrooms. Further more the pool is small and due to this and all the people using it the water was dull and very cloudy.

The apartment wee had needed refurbishment. Cushions on the couch are dirty, 2 out 3 air conditions are extremely old, one of them is with smell. Some of the furnitures has sticky surfaces, exhaust fan in both bathrooms are not working. Master bedroom door lock doesn't work. Share bathroom door lock doesn't work. And entrance door broke in the last couple of days. Undercover parking basement has leaks from internal pipe. I guess luxury is just the location.

Beachfront with balcony

The Norfolk is in a great location, one street from the beach front, not too much noise and with plenty of cafes to choose from on nearby Tedder Street. We were in a three bedroom two bathroom apartment, with a large balcony overlooking the beach. The apartments were older style, however were clean and spacious. Garage parking was included and easy to access. Diana on reception was helpful and friendly. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

I stayed at this property approx 3 years ago and it was great. However, our 3 bedroom apartment this time was so so disappointing. It was very old and I don't know how they can charge $500 per night. Beds old and uncomfortable. Dining chairs old and no springs. Foxtel did not work. Music system did not work. Second bathroom rusty and old. Rusted air conditioner on balcony. We were not informed we had to be there by 12md Saturday, so communication (not good). WE were so looking forward to our first night of freedom post COVID. BIG BIG disappointment

Girls weekend

Three bedroom Spacious apartment with two bathrooms.great kitchen dining and lounge area. Beautiful views of ocean level five. We spent a lot of time on the balcony. We ended up staying in on Saturday night as the balcony was so quiet and peaceful. Great place to catch up with friends.
We needed a three bedroom apartment and there wasn’t a lot to choose from at main beach. We would certainly come back to NORFOLK. It’s very close to the beach and the wonderful dining options around Tedder Avenue. Easy walk to Marina Mirage and Tavern.We all loved the apartment and have no complaints .Thank you for a wonderful weekend .

Fantastic location, fantastic service!!

We stayed for 2 nights & it was fantastic. Nothing was a problem for Michael & I told him of some minor issues in the apartment which he fixed straight away. It was just FYI but he was super efficient. Apartment was clean with fantastic view. Great location only 600m walk to strip of local cafes & 2km walk to heart of Surfers. There was pretty much only a road separating us to the beach. I will definitely be back & definitely recommend the complex to anyone wanting a stress free break!!

A Gem on Main Beach!!

Stayed in an ocean view 3 b/room unit. The view was amazing and with the huge glass doors the sea breeze was always flowing. The unit was spacious with ample furniture and kitchen implements/crockery. The only small downside was the unit just needs a lick of paint to freshen it up otherwise the cleanliness was good. The managers could not do enough to make sure we had an enjoyable stay. Located across the street from Main beach and a patrolled area. The pool and spa were inviting. Well worth the stay.

Excellent base for a wonderful holiday

We love staying at Norfolk Luxury Beachfront Apartments. Each time we stay, we love it more. A perfect position right across the road from a patrolled beach, and walking distance to Tedder Avenue and the Surf Life Saving Club mean that you don't have to get in the car for a whole week if you don't want to. But well located to Sea World and the theme parks etc if that is what you want. The apartments are spacious (plenty of room for 6 adults without getting in each others way), well laid out, clean and well maintained. We love the sea breezes and sleeping with the windows open listening to the waves at night.

Brooke, Michael and their staff are lovely, and nothing is too much problem.

Arrived Saturday at 2pm rang the buzzer had to wait for a while for someone to come check us in.
Our room was lovely but wasn't as clean as I would have expected it to be.
The sea views and the location was superb
We had children with us but I don't think it's totally child friendly as we were made aware at arrival to keep their noise level low

Fantastic Spot

We have recently had a weekend stay at Norfolk and can not fault our accommodation. We had a huge 3 bedroom apartment which was fully self contained. Beach access is not even 1 minute walk away, cafe and bars are all just a walk away or a real short car trip to cavil ave. all amenities are great and overall our stay was just the best. Whales were visible from our balcony on the weekend also. Great stay

fabulous apartment and management

Great area for families as across from beach and lifeguards. Walking distance from surfers paradise and great dining areas. Apartments were equipped with everything that you needed, very comfortable beds, clean and views were breathtaking.

Views outstanding

We had a fantastic 4 nights stay. Looking straight onto the water (even saw whales). Easy drive to theme parks. The pool is heated and a nice relax after a body surf.

Nice hotel with nice facilities.

Didn't get what we booked. Booked for six adults. Booking stated two queen beds and two singles. Happy with that. Ended up with one queen and four single beds. Room was clean but 'no' toilet paper and no cleaning gear. eg: No dish washing liquid or surface cleaner etc. Bit disappointing really.

Great location\n

We had a wonderful 5 day break with the family. The hotel was clean and tidy and our apartment was beauitful. Hotel staff very friendly and efficient. The only problem was the road was too noisy with lots of traffic. Tedder Ave shops and restuarants are a 5 minute walk away and with the beach across the road it does make for an easy holiday.

Great location, but apartment needed some TLC

Had a corner apartment, which was a great size and layout. Our issue was with the fact that it needed a fair bit of TLC maintenance. Bathroom fans didn't work, lights didn't work, batteries were needed for the remotes, and no dustpan and brush. The sofa was comfy, but had seen better days. We got a good deal through Wotif, but if we had paid the full rate I wouldn't have expected these problems. The pool area which was recently refurbished was beautiful. It was across the road from the beach and while we where there, that was where the flags were there. Don't know if that was their permanent location or not. The apartments are located outside of the main area of Surfers and therefore, not subject to evening/nightlife noise. I would definately recommend it, but would make sure I took the extra bits and pieces needed.

Family friendly hotel with a view

Delightful managers, nothing is too much trouble. We booked on the morning of arrival, we were able to get an early check in. Immaculately clean three bedroom apartment, directly opposite beach. Renovated pool is wonderful. don't forget to bring your own pool towels as not provided. Brooke and her family were friendly, helpful and a delight to deal with. Thank you for a great holiday.

The location and size of the apartments are the winners here... Yes the complex is old, but its clear there is ongoing works to upgrade the facilities making them more modern.

Stay was very carefree and the apartment manager left you to your own, but was very helpful should you need assistance. The way it should be. Overall the apartments are older (as most GC apartments are) and not \"luxury\" but they are spacious, tidy and have a great aspect. We were on the south side and you have a 3 sided view from the mountains to the sea. Makes the apartment feel large and is good for opening windows to allow cross ventilation, if you dont want to use aircon or fans. Overall unit furniture etc was adequate. TV fine and kitchen well stocked with pots and pans for a weeks cooking. Location is excellent. Easy to get in and out of by car and short walk to shops, beach and main surfers. Not luxury but certainly comfortable enough for a long stay.

Nice hotel close to the beach.

Lovely apartment, but did need some repairs. Shutters were broken in living room area in places, bathroom tiles on wall in ensuite were cracked. There did seem to be cigarette burns in the foot stool in the living area, the coffee table was also broken and shaky. The single bed in the twin room was falling apart but my husband was able to fix this.
For a \"luxury apartment\" these issues should be addressed. The cleanliness of the utensils should be taken better care of by the cleaners, as I had to wash the knives and forks and found a few glasses with lipstick stains on them.

On the plus side.. The receptionist was lovely, friendly, helpful and a really asset to the hotel. She should be rewarded highly by the management, because this lady makes the Notfolk a wonderful place to stay. She should be commended, and she would be the reason I would return.

Nice hotel close to patrolled beach

stayed in a 3 bedroom apartment and we were quite surprised with all the inclusions in the rooms .. 4 tvs 2 had foxtell... and all the channels not just some ...
the only thing that i can complain about is the fact that the rubbish disposal is very small .. so u pretty much have to take the rubbish downstairs and there was no shampoo/conditioner in the room... but other then that.. it was great!!!

Awesome Location & Unit

Awesome unit that was perfect for a family of five. The location is excellent being across the road from a patrolled beach and a short stoll to Tedder Abenue and a good walk to Surfers Paradise. We had a great view of the whales and dolphins splashing about in the ocean.

Awesome - hotel very clean and very comfy, lots of space and balconies to enjoy the Qld sunshine. We had the beach across the road which was magnificent. Our views were excellent, very relaxing. A great family holiday was had by all.
