Carpets definitely needs to a steam cleaning. Curtains and the couches has stain, visually you can see the stain needs a good cleaning. Shower base is not level. The drainage is in the middle and the water builds up one side of the base. You have to bring the water to the drainage by using your foot. Door handles are lose. The drainages need mesh to stop cockroaches coming inside.

Kitchenware, blankets, TV in every room, towels etc.
Received an email for a mod-stay clean up but nobody showed up - which is fine as we kept tidy and a vacuum is provided in the room.

The Manager Craig and his wife were excellent hosts with a personal approach.
They were very helpful with our room change and provided any assistance we required. The room was clean and well presented with amazing sea views. A lovely stay and would certainly recommend this accommodation venue.

1. The so called superior ocean view apartment was misleading as the water views were minimal.
2. All rooms primarily faced west or south west and was very bright and hot.
3. The external sliding door was very difficult to use.
4. The shower hot and cold water taps were confusing to use.

Really lovely quieter area ,super close to the beach and local shop and restaurants. Apartment was a bit tired and could be cleaner but nice with a good view (apart from construction work) . Had pretty much everything you need to cook properly and had a great shower . Would visit again .

Pacific Views Resort was excellent for our short stay for work. A fantastic location right across the road from the beach and 5 mins walk to Tedder Avenue. We stayed in apartment 715 which had great views of the ocean and beach and a very large balcony. Main Beach is a hidden gem - close to Surfers Paradise and Southport /The Spit but not a thoroughfare. It is an older building so not as flas or modern in terms of decor but the apartment size was generous and had everything we needed.

For us the best part was the whales. We were able to see them from the comfort of our bed and of course from the balcony.
The 3 days we were there, we woke up to the \"morning whale show\". It was simply beautiful.
The place is well located:
restaurants, pubs, supermarkets beachfront. Beautiful beach although we went in winter and as Floridians, we avoided the cold waters 😂.
The living room is spacious. The kitchen was equipped with all the essentials. Washer and dryer that worked well.

A Not so Exotic Stay
The bed was old and uncomfortable the bedding was terrible the “duvet” smelt and was next to useless and the pillows were terrible. The heating was virtually non existent. To heat up the apartment we had a small blow heater and small oil column heater which didn’t cut it. Everything is just old and needs a total refresh. Not sure if it really qualifies to be labelled a resort at least don’t expect anything exotic.

Avoid if you value cleanliness, respect, or basic decency.
The only thing going for this place is its location. Beyond that, it's a parade of disappointments, starting with the paper-thin pillows and basic furnishings that barely scrape by under the label of “budget-friendly.”
But the real issue? The utter lack of cleanliness. One of the toilets had visible brown stains—yes, feces—despite a sticker claiming it was “hygienically cleaned and ready to use.” When we raised this with management, instead of an apology or even a room change, we were smugly told we could “find another hotel” if we weren’t happy. As if that’s realistic during peak season at the Gold Coast. They knew full well we had no other options and used that power imbalance to brush us off. It was insulting, dismissive, and completely unprofessional.
On top of that, you’re given one towel per person for a five-night stay. No fresh towels unless you rewash the same one yourself. Need beach towels? You’ll have to rent them.

And in case you thought you were paying for a full-service stay—you’re responsible for taking your own trash out to the external bins before checking out.
Oh, and the pool? Closed for a full day and night due to maintenance. Not mentioned anywhere when we booked, of course. Yet we still paid in full.
The only thing going for this place is its location. Beyond that, it's a parade of disappointments, starting with the paper-thin pillows and basic furnishings that barely scrape by under the label of “budget-friendly.”
But the real issue? The utter lack of cleanliness. One of the toilets had visible brown stains—yes, feces—despite a sticker claiming it was “hygienically cleaned and ready to use.” When we raised this with management, instead of an apology or even a room change, we were smugly told we could “find another hotel” if we weren’t happy. As if that’s realistic during peak season at the Gold Coast. They knew full well we had no other options and used that power imbalance to brush us off. It was insulting, dismissive, and completely unprofessional.
On top of that, you’re given one towel per person for a five-night stay. No fresh towels unless you rewash the same one yourself. Need beach towels? You’ll have to rent them.

What an amazing location! Beautiful sea views, a coffee shop with great food in the building ! A subway and 7 eleven in the building! And some incredible Main Beach / Tedder Ave restaurants all in walking distance. We will be back! Unfortunately we have struggled to get one that has everything it should and if they do I would say the condition of the fixtures like flooring and sofas etc are below parr. My partner & I had wonderful 5 night stay in 2 bed ocean view apartment (a bonus upgrade since no 1 beds available.) It had all the necessities & balcony looking over to Main Beach was great. Reception staff were really helpful with after hours check in & accomodating last minute extra night at reduced rate. Great lunch at The Winey Cow downstairs using meal voucher provided. Unfortunately they were doing some major work on the front courtyard and the temporary track to reception was uneven, had to watch your step. Overall, though, we enjoyed our stay very much. The balcony view was exceptional, staff very friendly and helpful and the room spacious and light filled. Location was great, short walk to Tedder St with multiple restaurants and cafes.

The Lvl 5 Ocean view room was excellent. Close to Tedder Ave shopping and restaurant precinct and across the road from the beach. A great cafe - Winey Cow and the base of the building with a 7/11 and Subway. The concierge at the hotel was great, very friendly and always working around the place to keep in looking good for the guests. There was some building demo nearby with some noise but beyond the control of the hotel and pretty consistent with the developing area. Would def stay here again.

The unit we had had a wonderful view. Unfortunately its furnishings were dated and uncomfortable - not what we would have expected at a highly rated resort. To exacerbate things there was a unit block being demolished across the road - unbearable noise all day every day. (Perhaps advice about this when booking would have been appropriate). Several advertised Foxtel channels did not work. Apart from that, a lovely stay.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here, our room was spacious with a dining area and kitchen and lounge plus the balcony & it was newly renovated. Had everything we needed, washing machine, kitchen utensils etc. Bed was comfy and had a couch + lounger both were great. Only thing was there were no blackout curtains and the blinds couldn’t completely block out the sun but not too bad they still got most of the light out. Also these apartments are not serviced so we had to ask for washing powder to keep washing our towels each day but managers were super friendly & helpful. Loved the pools /gym & location was awesome!!

The hotel location is amazing and the views excelent however, when we asked if we could have a late checkout when we arrive they straight aŵay said no possible when other hotels ask you to call on the day, hotel was empty but they said there is a new booking arriving, note we check out Monday not a busy day. Other thing unfortunately due to work commitments I had to arrive in the evening, office was closed so I left car outside, next morning I asked if I could have another parking spot as the previous night we went our in my partner's car and I noticed it was quite empty, reception didn't even check they just said no it is a \"parking spot per apartment\" that day again there was barely anyone in the carpark, through our stay that carpark was a quarter full but the hotel didn't allowed me to park underground, it is so dissapointing as I was stressed to leave my car outside, I suggest to be more helpfull with customer's requests in the future when there is capacity.

Booked a stay with my family while I was on business in the Gold Coast and I was attracted by the size and views that were promised. One thing that I didn’t plan for was the infestation of roaches in the unit!
From the moment we arrived we realized that it didn’t look like the pictures. It had a musty smell and was very dated. The view was fabulous so we decided to make the most of it. My daughter noticed a bunch of spiders so we started to vacuum them up. The area is fabulous so we decided to go to the beach.
On our return we started to see the little critters scurrying across the floors. We quickly grabbed the vacuum to try to contain them. But to our surprise they kept coming. They were in the bathrooms, kitchen, and it seemed everywhere we looked. At this point all the staff had long left so we were not able to let anyone know. It was so bad that I decided to pack up and leave immediately.
After loading the car up with the bags my son went back up to check if there was anything left. As luck would have it he got stuck in the elevator. It was late so it
took 2 hrs for the service team to get him out.
The next day when speaking to the manager he said this was normal in the area but they have never had this problem before which was a lie as after searching I saw others make the same complaint. He offered to clean the room but I said hell no and demanded a refund.
A word of wisdom. Until they renovate this place stay away!
