The overall property was nice and intial communication was good and the location is great. However our particular apartment was very dated and not clean. Blankets were old and screwed up in cupboards not even folded. There were lollies on the floor in the lounge room and the blinds and fans were extremely dusty. The cleaners were waiting outside our room from at least 8.30am (for a 10am checkout time) and even asked us what time we were checking out so they could enter which we found extremely rude.

Whilst our apartment was the right fit for our adult family, the cleanliness could have been better, with clothes left in the washing machine and dryer and a big liquid spill under the lounge which we found when we were cleaning before we left. And the microwave was dirty inside.

The apartment was spacious and the facilities (BBQ, Pool) were very well maintained and clean. The beach is only a 100m walk and great restaurants and shops are close by.
The apartment itself was clean but tired, the single beds in one room were actually kids beds and a little short, the carpets were torn in several places and there were blankets and chairs in the wardrobes taking up a lot of the space with signs on them saying \"not for guests use\".
Overall would definitely recommend this place and happily stay there again.

Check in was nice and easy with secure parking. Apartment, 2 bedrooms/2 bathrooms, was really nice and had a good size (85m2) + balcony with view to the pool and hot tub between all the palmtrees. Less then 2 minute to the beach and to local pubs/restaurants and cafés. Apartment block is in a very quiet street. After 7 nights we decided to stay another 4 nights. It was so nice. They will see us again.

Ok for a short stay- byo pillow
We stayed as a family of 4 for a weekend. Room was clean and well maintained. The facilities also looked after and well maintained. Staff were ok, the reception is only manned a few hours over weekend and open till 5 weekdays so you really dont interact with them... there is a good system for check-in and departure for out of hours so you really dont mind lack of presence. The only issue we found was that the low cost furniture was extremely uncomfortable... sofa, chairs and main bed and supercheap pillows. Just meant that it was hard to relax and get good sleep. Tho every room is different so its a bit of a lottery. We would stay again for a weekend but will be bringing own pillows next time and also asking for different room. Location was 10/10 and price was good value so dont mind sacrificing a little bit of creature comfort.

Great location and pool, but other than that everything just average. we have also requested secure lock to both doors and balcony in our booking form since our young son is a bit challenging and we have no problem in the past to different hotel with this (we visit gold coast annually and the last one was in April 2016). So we were a bit surprised when we arrived there's no deadlock/chain and it was very easy to get out. On our first night, we put our children to sleep at 9 pm and when when I woke up at 1 am and check them out, my son was gone. My heart just drop, we were so panic and we search outside (basement and garden) and after 10 minutes we found him in the dark garden area close to pool area. My son can't swim and not communicative so the only thing that stopping him is a high pool fence. He was just all quiet and shaken up crying in the dark, we don't know how long he's been there. I have to say that was the most terrifying experience in my life. We did raised the issue with the management the next morning and was told that it is fire hazard and they can not do anything. We did not get great sleep there because in the last five nights we were just taking turns to be alert, just in case. Fair to say that this has not been a 'real' holiday where we could truly relax.

Arrived after 10 could only book in at two. Entered room with a horrible smell. One cushion in main bedroom had blood on it. Main bedroom mattress felt like a water bed. Rooms are old. Kitchen is dirty. Wouldn't go again.

Good size rooms and nice surroundings. Internally the rooms could do with a bit of a revamp. The main living room was well air conditioned but the bedrooms were quite hot. Ceiling fans helped, but air con in the bedrooms would have been more comfortable. The 2 bedroom unit had everything you could possibly need for a holiday away from home and was more than spacious with 2 large private decks. One on either side of the apartment. This made holidaying with teenagers feel less cramped and everyone had space to themselves.
The location was great, walking distance to restaurants, beach and local shops made it very convenient. Especially at night when going for dinner and not wanting to drive or find parking. Seemed like a very safe area and nice and quiet at night.

We stayed in the sept 16 school holidays (family with 3 children 11,9 and 3). Easy after hours check in, room was clean and ready. We had booked a self contained unit and everything we needed for our stay was supplied. Management were friendly, and unobtrusive. Gardens were well maintained and pool,spa and BBQ area were clean and was well used by us.Also found that other guests staying were all extremely friendly and made for some great evenings around the common areas of a night. would highly recommend as a great central family place to stay on the gold coast. Would definitely be returning on our next visit.

This is a nice service apartment close to the beach, sea world and shopping centre. There is a nice bbq area, outdoor spa and pool. The apartment has most of the things you need and the units are spacious. The price is affordable and suitable for families.
Take note of checkin after hours. For us we tried to contact using intercom at the facility but no one respond. We had to use own mobile to ring the number provided.
Also the room condition is more dated than the photos shown in promotional material so it was a little disappointing to see something less than expected. However, the condition was still adequate.
Some items were not provided unless requested such as hairdryer.

Clean, spacious and beautiful place. Free pool, spa and parking. The only flaw is that the washing machine doesn't work. Also no tissues in the kitchen and living room. Overall, it's really a good place for holiday.

We only stayed a night but was nice and comfy and had a good sleep, bathroom not so clean and no plug for bath for my son and toilet in my room get running water all night which was a pain while trying to sleep but all in all it was ok ☺️

4 beautifull days with the hotel as base. had a rental car which was parked in th efree parkin lot under the Building. Had local friends com eover for a barbecue at the pool one night, really coasy.

I found the location a real bonus. A short walk to the beach. About 100m to shuttle bus to theme parks. 500m to tram into Surfers and to the airport.

We spent 6 days staying on the Gold Coast in this very nice and well positioned hotel. The main reason for our trip was the theme parks and The Chidori ticked the boxes for being close in proximity to them all. Also very close to the beach, surf, shopping centres and entertainment. We had a very nice stay at this great little hotel. We loved the fact that it wasn't high rise, so no worrying about lifts and deep underground parking. Rooms were well maintained and fully furnished. Absolutely no complaints. Also our children enjoyed our stay. Only sticking point was a cranky permanent resident.

Will definitely be staying again at Chidori Court. Best thing for us was its location. Short walk to beaches and restaurants which we visited on a daily basis. When the weather turned bad for the beach the kids made good use of the pool and spa. Also short drive to the theme parks which we also visited.

This was a lovely comfortable stay, well suited to families. No ocean views but set in beautifully maintained tropical gardens, with a well maintained pool and BBQ area. A very short walk to patrolled beach in one direction and the fabulous café strip in the other direction offering lots on restaurant/café choices for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Our apartment was ok. The ceiling fans didn't work properly and the night we arrived was ridiculously hot and humid.

we came to town to visit theme parks. Hotel had secure underground parking at no extra cost. Very close to beach and only half hour to theme parks. rooms were very clean. Pool was very clean. We all felt safe and secure during our stay.

It's very close to beach and walking distance to Shops,it's great for family to enjoy we were family of four,our only dissipointment was that kitchen.Unit was advitised as \"fully equipped kitchen\" but to our dissipointment the kitchen just had bare minimum utensils. Eg.one 24cm frying pan ,6 cutlery of each only,( can't have any friends over) knifes were so old that I had to try to put a edge with other knifes by filing them together so I could cut. Two out of four taps in the unit were constantly dripping unless you forced it so hard to stop it.

Nice appartment in a great area
Overall Chidori Court presents a good proposition. It's location near Main Beach, shops and public transport is absolutely great. The appartment was a comfortable 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom place with large lounge kitchen and excellent amenities. The pool is located in well maintained gardens and underground car parking is well laid out. The check-in process proved most disappointing with the \"strict policy of a 2 pm check-in\" hard to accept when (a) one has just flown overnight from the other side of the country and (b) the room was ready ahead of the 2 pm check-in time. After some stern discussion we were allowed a 30 minute earlier than policy entry into our room to find all our luggage waiting there for us. Even if the discussion on earlier than policy check-in had determined a small fee we would have been more than happy to pay!

Great little place, close to the beach and shops.
Chidori is a lovely place, short walk to Tedder Avenue village shops and restaurants. Self contained units. Close to the beach and great pool and BBQ area in the middle of the complex. Not a high rise which was nice too. Underground parking ensured our car was secure and not hot when we were ready to go out. I loved the place!!! Great for families!
