While it is a Loews property, it feels second rate. The staff were nice at checkin, but they did not go above and beyond. It wasn’t an “experience.” The pool area was crowded and the concrete burned the bottom of the feet. Terrible for small children. Tower 2 is very far from any of the amenities, so change rooms if you are put there!

The property is FANTASTIC for getting the unlimited express pass. HUGE value for the room rate. The hotel concierge and integration for help with universal and hotel / park reservations was also fantastic.

Property is beautiful and has a peaceful feel. There are several varied dining options that should please everyone in your party. I especially love the sushi bar near the lobby. Unfortunately while we were there a construction project was going on in our tower. (2) The room next door was being painted - fumes were strong - and so was the area at the bottom floor of the elevator bank. The elevators went up, but not down, so we had to take the stairs. Complimentary waters in the room might have been nice after a long day at the parks.

Excellent hotel! My favorite feature was the beautiful elephant garden with its relaxing water fountain—it created such a peaceful atmosphere. The hotel was very clean, and the service was outstanding throughout our stay. The location is perfect, being very close to the parks, which made getting around extremely convenient.
Best of all, the hotel offers free unlimited Express Passes, which added tremendous value to our trip and made the park experience so much more enjoyable. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area and would definitely stay here again!

We booked this property for the Universal Studios Express Passes. It was fantastic. We were able to check in early before the room was ready and left our bag so we could head to the parks. Staff were excellent to advise clearly how to get to the parks etc. Tuk Tuk cafe in the lobby was very useful for quick breakfast foods before heading out.

Love the look and feel with its Asian vibe. Very handy for its close proximity to City walk (and parks) only a short walk of approx 10 mins or via the water taxi from its own dock. Having the express passes was our primary driver as these are included in the premier tier hotels. Rooms were nice not awesome, bed was comfortable and good selection of pillows, TV reception and WiFi were a bit hit and miss. Nice pool area but not as good as Cabana Bay.

The hotel was very clean and staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is located under 10 min walk from Universal Studios or you can take a water taxi if you don’t want to walk. They have a shuttle bus to the Epic park that is about an 10 minute ride. They have a few options to eat ant the hotel including a sushi bar. Overall, I definitely recommend staying at this hotel.

Very good! Love the early admission and express pass that comes with the hotel stay. Love the luggage service so that we can enjoy our time at the Universal Studios sill on the day of hotel check out. also, the food and drinks sold by hotel store, the price is reasonable. You can also buy some universal studios’s merchandise in the hotel if you miss that. The best stay!

The hotel was not worth the money. You’re paying for the fast pass for Universal. The TV was ancient (in their defense they did send a flyer saying they were upgrading TVs within the next week or two, which doesn’t affect my stay). The room itself was also dated, no usb c ports, loose toilet handle, very basic all around.
Housekeeping hadn’t come by 3:30pm one of the days, which is annoying.
The hotel staff is very nice. Julian at the check in counter was awesome and probably one of the nicest people there. Cleaning staff were also great and friendly. The only staff I didn’t enjoy was the lifeguard staff. They shut the pool down for rain, and when it was done they came out joking and laughing and ignoring me and went inside then took approximately 25 minutes to reopen the pool area afterwards because they were too busy chatting and playing around with each other.
The coffee inside the hotel was pretty decent, and I also enjoyed the bar. Drinks were good and decent sushi/healthy options.
Overall I would decline to stay there again, unless the rates were significantly lowered.

The hotel was very good, but I was disappointed that there was no longer a spa. The dining options could be better, this is the first resort, I have stayed at, that only had two restaurants; both overpriced. I love the complementary bus shuttle, and boat shuttle to the parks, it was very convenient because we had two children in tow, a double stroller, a regular stroller and five adults. The charging outlets that are in the furniture, the bedside table should have been working. In the future, I will stay at another universal resort, even with any minor issues, the stay at this hotel was very, very good.

This is the ideal location to stay if you are going to Universal. It is a 7 minute walk from the front door to the park and the Universal Walk. So much fun and we will stay again!

The whole check in process took way too long. I was stood in line for over 30 mins waiting to check in. I only booked there to get the express pass perk and early entry but by the time I had checked in we had missed the early entry and the Q times were already very long even with the express passes. Most of the day the rest of our party, who didnt have express passes, waited in line the same if not less time then we did! So the whole process and extra expense was pointless for an already very expensive once in a life time trip for our family!

The room at Lowes Royal Pacific looked tired, not expected of a premium priced hotel. The reception staff appeared too busy to care, possibly due to the constant churn of daily check ins and outs (maybe a consequence of people booking a single night because it's cheaper than purchasing express passes for two days). The cocktails in the bar were good, and reasonably priced for decent cocktails. The hotel was very conveniently located for IOA and US, the boat between the hotel and city walk is a nice touch.
Overall, rather underwhelmed by the whole experience and not worth the premium price. Much prefer the better value, attentive staff and less frills of the Endless Summer resorts, particularly Surfside which is the smaller of the two.
