The shower however was luke warm and given the cost of the room, it would have been nice to have some complimentary waters, not an $8 bottle waiting for you - maybe even some tea and coffee facilities as in most hotels.

Love the hotel but the check-in process needs improvement. There was only one agent when we arrived Saturday afternoon, and after taking 2 guests, he left for a break and for 15 minutes there was nobody to take check-ins while the line just grew in size.

The resort itself is nice. Check in was quick and the staff at the desk were very friendly. We arrived to the hotel around 11am and were surprised to find our room was ready. Unfortunately, it later became evident that it wasn’t cleaned from the previous guests. The beds were made but the sheets were covered in what appeared to be feces, stains and hair on both beds and old cherios were left in plain site on the floor. For a premier hotel we expected much much better. I called down to reception and was greeted by a VERY rude lady who brushed off my concerns and said that she would let a maid know. After discovering more stains on the other bed I called again only for the same woman talk down to me. I finally asked for a manager and waited on hold for 10 minutes before he came on and said the best he could do was a $200 refund. Which I appreciated but I expected much better treatment and care by all involved. The apologetic, very kind maid did arrive and changed all of our sheets but it was clear that the rest of the room was not touched from the previous guests. Sleeping in a dirty, very expensive room was not what I expected from our very first universal experience.
I would reccomend all guests to check their bedding before crawling in, which we sadly didn’t notice until after we laid on it.

not worth the cost for the condition of the room. resort is okay. It is worth the value for the universal passes, but this place is not worth the cost. The furniture beat up. We were originally put on a floor where there was construction above, when I realized the situation, we requested move which was late at night. First thing the next morning they were cutting palm trees down, several floors up, outside my window with chainsaw, no relaxation time. very disappointed and would not recommend. they charge daily for parking, even when staying on resort. Positive was that is was walking distance to Universal walk,U.S. & I.O.A.

I’ve been here perhaps 10 times over the last 20 years and I always have a good stay. Staff are incredibly friendly. Let’s check in the orchid lounge in the lobby does tremendous sushi. Js bar is always a winner in the Poole is very very nice. But the walk to others adventure and universal perhaps seven minutes if that. The boats are also available. They kept the property up beautifully and I always have a lovely stay. You are gonna have to pay for parking and taxes so you’re not going there for the cheap house but you are going for the lovely saying more importantly express pass which is fantastic.

Excellent location and very friendly service from the moment we arrived at the hotel. All 4 of us presented with Lays before we had even entered the hotel. When we did, it smells wonderful, I mean really wonderful fragrance used. While there was a bit of a queue at reception, maybe 15 minutes, it was no real problem. Offered free upgrade to pool view room which we happily accepted by the very helpful check in staff. The room was spacious and with great views, over pool and other hotels in the distance. Plenty of storage for all 4 of us. Tuk Tuk market was very convenient, especially for a quick breakfast or cup of coffee. Jake’s bar…the portions were huge and of a very good quality. Would happily return to this hotel again and would certainly recommend. The Express Unlimited pass included saves a lot of queue times in the parks and an excellent perk. Next time I visit Orlando, this will be my first choice to look at.

Once checked in our room wasnt ready but we were given fast passes and told these were our room keys, we headeded to the parks, once room ready we were text but no room number given. So after a long day in the park we had to present back to checkin, present photo id again which we had already done and wait again for new room keys, when all we wanted to do was go to bed, so this could have been smoother for us.
The room is clean but there was no option of single beds as we are a party of 4 adults would have prefered not to share beds. The bathroom has no door and the sink back flows and gurggles overnight waking me up.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms need some paint and updates. The bathroom door should be a solid door that locks, not a sliding door. There was no bathroom fan in the toilet room.
