When we arrived, there was no one at the front desk; the security guard called the person in charge at the time, and she was very annoyed that we had interrupted her lunch break. When she assigned us a room, we found it in complete disarray: the bathroom was disgusting—with toilet paper and feces still there—and the bathtub was full of dirty suds. It was incredibly unpleasant to see all of that.

The room we received the AC did not work properly and when asked for a different room they stated they were sold out!! They said they could provide a fan but they did not have a cleaner working who had the key so they couldn't provide one. Asked for a refund or criedit but was rejected

The hotel is pet friendly, which is fine but when you walk into your room and find pee stains everywhere it’s gross. Room smelled like pee, carpet was stained. Bathroom tiles were falling off the wall, the toilet you had to flush 3-4 times just to get pee and toilet paper down. Cracks in the wall and water stains on the ceiling (which is still popcorn) mattresses felt like they hadnt been replaced in years.

When we got there we couldn't take a bath because the shower water and the tub water came out at the same time and we couldn't turn it off so we couldn't take a bath, later we noticed the sink was leaking all the bathroom floor was wet we had to call maintenance to come fix the shower and the sink they fixed the problem then we noticed we only have five stations on the TV so that's when they changed our rooms..
We enter into our next room the toilet was clogged and the tub was dirty with a ring around it I will never stay at this hotel ever again for the amount of money we paid this was horrible weekend.

This was by far the worst hotel experience I have ever had.

The lobby seemed fine and check-in was uneventful, but as soon as the elevator doors opened on the third floor, we were hit with an overwhelming smell of animal urine. The odor was so strong that both my son and I gagged. The hallways were stained and poorly maintained.

Unfortunately, our room was even worse. The smell inside was unbearable and made our eyes water. We were traveling with two service dogs and felt uncomfortable letting them walk on the carpet because of the strong urine odor.

The room also had multiple maintenance issues. The shower did not work properly, the toilet would not flush correctly, and the bedding was thin and worn.

I went to the front desk to request a different room and report the problems. I was told the hotel was fully booked and no other rooms were available. The only solution offered was a bottle of spray to help mask the smell. No maintenance assistance, room change, discount, or other accommodation was offered.

My son and I were on a cross-country road trip and had nowhere else to go that night. I have stayed in several hotels during this trip, and this was easily the worst. The condition of the property and the lack of customer service were extremely disappointing.

I will be contacting corporate regarding this stay.

This place is horrible. Homeless people hanging out in the front. Lobby bathrooms have to be unlocked by the staff. 3pm check in and no rooms were available. I walked out and got my two rooms at circus circus.

Never again. An antiquated and run down property with loose hall carpet, acrid hall and room smells, and no room fridge. Wi-fi was slow and television channels were distorted.
The parking lot was constantly occupied by some salty folks that some might say part-take in some questionable activity, and the police were called to the property to deal with an unruly person off the street who was causing issues with the desk staff, before getting into verbal altercations with property security (who btw started with professional courtesy and empathy before being triggered by the trespassers antics).
Bad characters, in a bad hotel, in a bad side of town...now matter how cheap the room or its ratings online. YMMV but don't say I didn't warn you.
Wyndham needs to step up on improving, or removing, this property.

Hotel is EXTREMELY dated and looks nothing like the photos. Upon arriving to our room, we found food and garbage on the carpet, bed pillows were sofa accent pillows in standard pillowcases, bathroom sink didn’t have a stopper, TV remote was so greasy and dirty I had to clean it first before I could use it, and complimentary breakfast service was nonexistent as they ran out of coffee. Check out staff couldn’t be bothered to stand up to assist us with checking out making us peer over the counter and monitor to make eye contact.

Previous reviews made me believe this was a “mid-range” hotel… I’m here to tell you it is not! Terrible part of town. Had a decent sized parking lot. But that’s about the only positive thing I have to say. Lots of druggies hanging around both the parking lot and casino. Definitely seems like the type of place that rents rooms by the hour…. That should be enough said. The room was old, rundown, and had terrible lighting (probably a good thing, I didn’t want to see exactly how dirty is really was!). Carpet smelled really bad of urine and over use of what I would guess was febreeze. Bathroom sink was clogged. Pair of dirty socks on bathroom floor. Etc, etc. I was honestly scared to touch anything. Would not recommend staying here… sleeping in your car is a better option!

This is a tired building, but a great bargain for the cost. The room was clean and cool when I arrived at the end of a hot day in Reno. Check-in was quick and friendly. I am not aware of anything comparable in the area for the same low cost, since the big casino hotels add on resort fees and the like.

The people workinh at the lobby, too ladies, one was very nice and helpfull the other one not, she made me wait in line to reactivate th room card, even the customers waiting in line to check-in didn't understand that. The thing was that the card was active but the control at the room door run out of battery and I had to wait in the lobby for hour and a half for the tecnitian to come to the hotel, he was already off work.

The hallway smelled like feces, the toilet ran, and my kids commented on how the walls looked like they needed to be painted. It was very grungy and hard to relax. A dog was barking in the room next to us. There were sketchy people hanging around outside the hotel. I’m not one that needs a 5 star hotel, but I would not stay here again. Ramada’s as a whole have really gone downhill the last few years.

Reception was not bad (specially there was a guy on duty on 6/6 morning shift).

Bad internet reception, except in the lobby.
Dirty/old toilet (not cleaning crew's fault)
Neighborhood was dirty and a lot of homeless people.

The room was well run down, and needs a total renovation. Everything looks like it is from the 1970's, and is literally falling apart. The staff was ok, and check in was decent.

The pool is non-operational, and under construction. So no swimming, and no hot tub. The room, and hallways did smell like smoke.... both tobacco, and other substances.

Elevators were sketchy, and one was out of service during our visit.

The bathroom shower was terrible, with no water pressure.

The area this hotel is located in, is not one you want to be after dark. There is nothing worth while nearby this hotel, and you will have to drive to get to anything decent.

Will never again visit this establishment, as there are many better options out there.

I was there for a volleyball national tournament 4/30/2026 through May 3rd. I checked in, very pleasant front desk ladies, we spoke about Florida and made small chat. They guided me to the closest store. I had requested a king size bed in my reservation but the room I had did not have a king size bed, so they gave me a free upgrade on the 14th floor. An 1.5 hour later I had an emergency with my daughter, I had to checkout immediately. I went to the same two kind ladies in the front and asked to checkout same day as I checked in 4/30/2026; I agreed to pay the 1st night. I later saw I was fully charged: 4/30 till 5/3 and on the 8th floor. I tried calling to get the refund, eventually I wrote to the hotel through a digital format on 5/20. I received a response 6 days later telling me I would not receive a refund.
Eventually I called the hotel and was able to talk to the same lady that has written to me through the digital format. I asked her to speak to the two kind front ladies, she just told me I had waited too long, a month, to report the refund. Eventually she authorized a refund for the last day. I had to contact the 3rd party I booked it through to receive the refund which I did do.
I don’t have money in abundance, therefore I expect for others be honorable.
The ball was dropped here by not changing or updating the checkout. I did ask if I had to do anything else when I was checking out and I was told “no.”

I almost never complain but my initial room was filthy. carpet was torn, smelled like urine and heavy cleaning supplies. They were nice enough to place me in a different room but that one had a used Kleenex by the bed and dead bug on the carpet. I questioned whether the sheets had been washed and decided to sleep in my clothes.

The door lock was broken. The hot water went cold while you were in the shower. The whole hotel was dated and the staff was not helpful at all. We were there for a festival and we were working from like seven in the morning until nine at night and we come back and they hadn’t fixed the issues that we had and they’d ask us if we wanted to move rooms at nine thirtyish at night and we were too tired for that all I wanted to do at that point was go to bed. Take my shoes off not move all my stuff they should’ve fixed the room while we were gone in the 10 or 12 hours we were gone. One of the staff members told me that she would call me and let me know when it was fixed. She never called me. One of them lied and told us the manager would be in today Monday at 11 o’clock when we called at 11 o’clock today. The manager wasn’t in. They won’t be in until tomorrow. . Do not waste your money pay the same rates at a different hotel and get a clean one at that queen and probably updated. There were no amenities at all, not even a fridge.

This hotel is in a very sketchy part of town. A lot of homeless around the property and in the parking lot. Witnessed Drug deals taking place outside the casino and in the parking lot. The room was awful. The bathroom was subpar. The bed was awful. This is definitely not a place that I will stay again and I would never bring my family to this property.

I am extremely mortified by the experience my family and I endured during our short stay at the Ramada. What should have been a simple hotel stay turned into a disturbing, stressful, and completely unacceptable ordeal.
To begin with, the original room assigned to us was dirty and had not been cleaned prior to our arrival. After bringing this issue to the attention of the front desk, we were moved to another room. Unfortunately, the situation became even worse upon entering the second room.
The second room was in a dilapidated and unacceptable condition. There was chipped paint throughout the room, and the furniture was broken and lopsided. The room looked poorly maintained and far below acceptable hotel standards. This was clearly NOT a 3-star hotel as advertised.
To make matters even worse, we then discovered bedbugs in the second room. I was so alarmed and disgusted that I personally captured one of the bugs and brought it directly to the front desk staff as proof.
The front desk employee then offered to relocate us yet again- this time to a room only one floor above the room where the bedbugs were found. That response was completely unacceptable. When dealing with a bedbug issue, moving guests only one floor away does not provide any reassurance of safety or cleanliness. By that point, I no longer felt safe or comfortable remaining anywhere on the property. Finding bedbugs raised serious concerns about the overall condition and sanitation of the hotel

This place is a dump. The stentch in the room was horrendous - Sour and old cigarettes. The carpet had multiple stains, the toilet seat was barely hanging on and the top piece to the toilet didn't even fit onto it. The walls in the room and bathroom had multiple tears/marks and it was so dingy. The couch has seen better days. The wall sockets would not hold our phone charger - it would just fall out. And the amount of homeless people and prostitutes around the property was shocking. We saw multiple kids staying at the hotel and I am sure the parents were horrified. I would burn this place to the ground. Only positive was the front desk and cleaning staff. They deserve better.

The room was atrocious. Floor has stains, walls have visible patches, sink has rust around the overflow drain. Toilet takes multiple flushes to get your business down. WIFI does not work. Very outdated.

The two restraunts advertised are in the smoke-filled casino, discusting. Their muffins and danish selection was minimal.

The front desk staff were wonderful! No complaints with them. Very responsive and helpful.

My complaint was with the facility, not the staff!

If you just need somewhere to pass out for the night, this will do. It wasn’t the cleanest, no room service during our stay, rooms are dilapidated and the entire hotel smells like smoke even though it is a no smoking hotel. We had a two night stay and I had to go get my keys reactivated twice during our stay as they would not work. We made the best of it but will not be staying here again.

This is a good no-frills hotel. There is an attached casino, mostly attended by locals, though I never went in it. Casino does have a $5 breakfast that I wish I knew about earlier. You have to have a key to use the hotel elevator. Parking was free.

The hotel is far enough to not be in the center of the action but close enough you can walk to the major casinos, the university or fairgrounds. It is on a busy street, so I was hearing traffic til about 1am on Saturday night. Definitely make use of the A/C or earplugs.

The bed was very comfortable. Plenty of hot water in the morning. The personal coffee maker worked. The fitness center is small but everything worked. The wifi was decent. Hard to hold a zoom meeting on it, but otherwise I was able to work remotely.

The lobby did sometimes smell a little like smoke from the casino. The front desk staff were not always there but they handled all my requests without problems.

I didn't know it would be in a ghetto neighborhood. There were lots of homeless but staff were really friendly. Carpets were stained and cloth chair was stained/dirty. Bed was comfy and bathroom was clean.

There are drug addicts at all hours of the day and night outside of the hotel . Bums sleeping in the lobby . Police activity people getting arrested right outside of the casino area . The elevators and halls are overkill with fragrance smell . The staff was very nice . I would not recommend this hotel especially if you have kids with you .

This hotel is so run down, the bathrooms have no water pressure for showers and the room was not cleaned once during 5 day stay. Definitely stay elsewhere that is budget friendly if that’s what you’re going for, the neighborhood and attached casino is riddled with prostitution and tweakers.

The Ramada name should be removed from this hotel. This is not the Ramada standard. If you want to go back in time to the 1960s that’s how this hotel is popcorn ceilings no updates couches that have holes in them floors that are dirty. The place smells like urine and cigarettes, drug dealers and drug users all the way around the property felt unsafe the entire time I was there almost told them to keep the money. I’ll go somewhere else. Grabbed a couple hours of sleep and left as fast as possible. Stopped at a truck stop just to take a shower because the bathroom was nasty. I will not be staying here again. This hotel should be shut down and all the riffraff removed. also it’s not downtown. It’s on the outskirts in the ghetto. Don’t stay here.

I like one that has lots of pressure and this one was older and not very powerful. The bed was very comfortable and the view was amazing of downtown. On the upper floors you heard a lot of wind like a seal in the window was not quite right. For the price it didn’t job and got a great nights sleep.

The actual room was ok. Clean and with the amenities one would expect. But the hotel is situated in a seedy neighborhood. Outside the hotel there are enough homeless people with visible mental health problem roaming around - at some point one guy was emptying the trash right outside the hotel shouting various things. I think it gave my 14 y.o. daughter a renewed appreciation for where she lives.
