During our stay. The sink backed up with all this nasty stuff that came up into the bowl of the sink. And then that night we’re sleeping and the smell of sewer just would come through. Upon scheduled checkout, we notified the staff at the checkout counter. I hope they offer something better for other guests.

As Reno hotels go this is probably one of the best. Our room was large and spacious. The casino has an old musty stink of cigarettes and lost fortunes though. Not many table games open. Kids enjoyed the large arcade in the attach circus circus hotel. The highlight was our meal at the Gordon Ramsey Steakhouse. The service and food was fantastic. If we were there to gamble I would go to Vegas, but we were just passing through with the family. The surrounding area and streets outside the Casino walls are full of shady looking and homeless people. I certainly wouldn’t walk around outside at night, it’s bad enough in the daylight.

The Silver Legacy offers a Las Vegas experience at Reno prices without the less savory Vegas energy (pushy hotel staff snd solicitors trying to shill \"free show tickets\" and other nonsense). We live locally, outside Reno, and having had the Las Vegas experience several times, I'd much rather save the 6 hour drive or $200 flight and spend that money here. Between the Silver Legacy and the seamlessly connected Eldorado and Circus Circus, there was a fantastic assortment of bars and restaurants and other attractions easily accessible on foot. Parking was quick and easy (my friend used valet, who were fantastic. I self parked as I was traveling by motorcycle). The room was spacious, comfortable and clean with quality hotel amenities like a mini fridge and coffee maker - rarities in most casino hotel rooms. While it certainly is not an inexpensive Reno property, it was worth the expense.

We stay here each time our son bowling in tournaments at the NBS. First time we stayed at Circus Circus and it was less than desirable, but it was the budget side. silver Legacy has been our choice the last four times and each time has been a great stay.

1/2way through out stay a mysterious noise was coming through the walls , sounded like pipes being cut , chains being drug across the floor . . This happens all hours of the night , kept us awake for 2 days . Made the last 2 days of our stay miserable. We were tired , grouchy upset the front desk just blew us off . As if it was a normal noise .

The staff were excellent. Room was clean but occasionally there was a strong smell of cigarette smell which would creep up. Even after we were moved to a non smoking floor. Shower water pressure was very low. Shower tile was old and uneven.

We stayed a few day June 2026 and the check in process is horrible and with the new high fee for early check in even for 30 minutes is criminal. They should allow you to check in early and get room and key but not activate the key until 3pm this way no long lines and this rush to the line. Also since the hotel is in hotel row and has three hotels none of them had a working hot tube during our stay and the room was a none smoking but had smoke smell and some things I room were run down or not working

I liked the hotel and the added spots in the same building. Just the sitting areas in pool with shade werent free, they should be included as first come first serve. But everything else was perfect to the very last detail.
Shops near front of hotel desk is a must visit

It’s always a decent choice. The property is well maintained.
The challenge is the food and drink options which can get expensive for a nice sit-down restaurant experience.
Also, the choice of the food for pescatarians, vegans and vegetarians is very limited. There’s not much choice for beer.

Everything was fine! The only problem I have is the loud music at the swimming pool. I could hear it in room after 10PM. I was located on the 6th floor and I could hear the music that was playing loud enough that I could sing along to the lyrics of some of the songs playing. Turn the music down after 9pm so people with an early wake-up can get a restful nights sleep.

First time in Reno. We wanted a place that was centrally located that we can walk to everything. The Riverwalk was cool. But there was not much to do elsewhere, almost no places to walk to...no gift shops or great eateries. Very limited. Felt unsafe walking around, homeless smelly areas, everything was very dated. The hotel had cigarette smell throughout property. The room, we had 2 queen, was very small. I would not come back. Sorry, I was disappointed overall.

I liked the Silver Legacy and have stayed there several times while in Reno. The one drawback is the smoke smell. Although I was in a nonsmoking room, my room and subsequently All of my clothes smelled like an ashtray. I notified staff about the strong smoke odor in my room, but it was not addressed.

I would have liked a stronger ac, it took a while for the room to cool down. The shower was good, albeit a little low water pressure. We didn't have wash cloths in the room either. Not bad for a basic room, pretty disappointing for a resort.

I’ve been going to the silver legacy for years. I love it. The last time I was there was in 2022. I was just there over the weekend. It’s been four years since I’ve been able to go and it’s exactly as I remember it. The staff is nice. The rooms are nice. I didn’t hit any jackpots, but I didn’t go broke either. I had a lot of fun playing I met a celebrity which was fun. He was really nice. I can’t wait to go back again. I am a smoker so it didn’t bother me too much but you could smell the smoke Close to the gift shop a little bit in the lobby, but it’s a casino so what do you expect they did have an extra resort fee. I had to pay an extra hundred dollars on top of the 125 deposit.

Spa drain would not close could not keep full without constantly running the water, not enough hangers, shower would only run cold water, no hot water, very noisy room when neighbor used spa, shuttle service to airport was unsafe, driver was glued to phone and driving aggressively, his eyes were on his phone more than the road, I feared for our safety, also the shuttle drives right past the departure check in and deposits everyone at the arrival terminal, causing everyone to have to walk the entire length of the terminal to get to check-in location.

Went for a bowling tournament. Since the city has cleaned up the central area between the hotel and the National Bowling Stadium, staying here is our preference when walking around downtown. Easy airport shuttle, convenient to the riverwalk, and great for a short stay.

The pool was so small and has a max number of 40 people and 4 for the hot tub. The hotel has over 30 stories! How does it not have a bigger pool and why can’t they keep it clean? Not enough chairs and no umbrellas just out in the open sun. The room was great. The bellhop service was great! I know most people don’t care about the pool. But this was my mini get away. I always use the pool and the gym.

Considering this is a large casino hotel, the rooms were updated, clean and super quiet. Self parking garage is across the street from the hotel and casino so make sure to enter and use the bag drop off (we didn’t see it until after the fact).

The room was absolutely spotless, with every corner nicely arranged, creating such a warm and inviting vibe. The staff was super friendly and always ready to lend a hand, which made my stay even better! As for the casino, it still has that same fun atmosphere and familiar layout that I loved from my last visit, buzzing with vibrant lights and the exciting sounds of spinning slot machines.
