Room was clean, and the non-smoking room didn’t smell of smoke, had good AC, and overall was comfortable. The rest of the property was quite dilapidated. Checking in wasn’t easy as the initial keycard generated by the machine didn’t work, and our room was in the other building from the check in desk so it was a long walk back to get it fixed. The directions to the room that came with the key were wrong and the friendly staff who helped us find the right elevator bank laughed and said to ignore them, so it’s a known problem.

Our room was clean, the A/C worked well, the bathroom was very clean and had a nice shower. The beds were not horrible but definitely were not great. The blanket was so thin and worst pillows on the planet.They were new pillows but have absolutely no support even with 2. Walls were thin. I have bad hearing so did not bother me. Boyfriend could hear everything. I will say the carpets, bathroom, and beds were much newer than the last time I stayed.

Most things were great, but the TV just cut out for over two hours during late evening on both nights. Had to ask twice for extra towel to be brought to room. But both those thing were minor. The rest of the stay was very nice.

Our stay was great, the only issue I came across was how thin the window are. We stayed on the 25th floor and I could hear everything from the street below. I could hear every lyric from every car that passed playing music.

I could see that the room used to be nice back in the day. I chose the assign room at check in option and was assigned to one of the older rooms (not yet renovated), but I remember if I saw the pictures of the older rooms on the peppery page. I would not try to save that 10-20 dollar a night if the newer ones are like in the pictures.

The staff was incredibly patient and helpful. The room was clean and the beds were pretty comfy.

The property itself is fine. There was quite the walk, including short staircases, to get to the rooms. Along the way was a lot of nothing with some areas blocked with drywall.

Well somehow they couldn’t find my reservation even though I had my confirmation number and it took them about thirty minutes to finally find it in there system but had no booking.After a five hour drive I was in no mood and of course the Manager was a little difficult but the front desk agent Cassie was excellent!!!she was very kind accommodating and diligent in upgrading our room to the North Tower even tho the manager wanted to charge us more she fought to get us the same price..Besides that it was a great stay excellent accommodations and will definitely be going back..But definitely calling ahead and making sure they got my reservation next time

Had a defective shower head that would not adjust properly which made it hard to shower , improper directions to our room from staff. Would not recommend SKY TOWER to anyone. Overall experience, 5 out of 10. Paid too much for what we got.

Front desk lady that checked me in was impolite about me staying 1 night in the suite. Also was told she was surprised I was allowed to rent the suite and laughed. Got up to the suite, wallpaper is peeling in the window seal area. Lamp to left of bed was not working, just run down over all. Would rather stay at another hotel for similar price with better rooms and amenities. Real shame, will never stay again.

My room was chosen for me and it was horrible dirty walls the tile in the bathroom was broken and had mold . There was a hole in the wall by the AC unit , my room receipt said my room was at the sky tower walked all that way with my luggage to be told by the nice lady cleaning the rooms it was at the casino and that the receipt had been that way over a year and when she told her manger they didn’t seem to care so I had to walk all the way back!

It was disappointing from the check-in until check-out.
First time in Reno, we don't gamble, so we had no clue how the system worked,
and the hotel staff didn't make the experience any easier.
No one would answer my questions, just pass it over to somewhere else.
At check in we received some coupons, one was for a "Free Chips and Salsa with Entree Order" The restaurant wouldn't honor the coupon, said it was for "Bowlers Only" (it didn't say that on the coupon).
Why give us the coupons if they can't be used?
That right there pretty much discribes the whole experience.
We will never stay at Circus Circus again.

Everything was fine except that walk from the south tower to the main lobby was easily 100 yards. That doesn't seem like much but everything (casino floor, food, gift shops ect....) is at the main lobby. It looks like there used to be a tram at one time but it was out of commission.

Check-in was a little confusing for us because it is connected with other hotels, so we got lost for a second. The room was spacious. However, the bed and pillows were not comfortable in our opinion. The room stayed cool, which was nice. The hallways, elevators, and the lobby areas were hot and musty the whole time we were there. The elevators were not working and some of the escalators were out of order also. The parking garage was easily accessible, but the garage itself could use some love. Overall, our stay wasn't bad. The housekeeping staff were very friendly and helpful. Parking was free, which we highly appreciate! The price was fair. However, I will choose somewhere to stay in the future.

I don’t know what it was but there was a strong odor in the hallway. The room smelled like they used a bug bomb. The sheets had holes in them.. I’ve stayed here plenty of times before and have never had an experience like this before..

Self check-in assigned us a wrong type of room at the casino tower and the room was dated. Walked up to front desk and explained to the front desk staff on this matter and she was super nice and helpful, reassigned a new room (based on our booking of a sky tower room) to us. New room was nice and clean. Many parts of the hotel are under renovation and the shuttle was not operating, so we need to walk a not short distance from the check in area to the sky tower. The bed was comfortable.

This was my first stay at Circus Circus in Reno . I do not recommend this hotel. My husband was bit by something on his back. that created a silver dollar size welt and had to be reported so we had to switch rooms once we switched rooms. The TV didn’t work for the whole two days that we were there, I kept asking maintenance and the engineers or whoever would listen to please come and fix it. Front desk did not answer when I called and it was just all around about experience as far as the hotel room goes, the actual casino and games on site were fun. The room was clean to an extent aside from the incident with the bite. Staff was not very helpful. They did comp us our resort fees however I really felt like the time spent in the room was less than satisfactory.

Only problem was valet parking Saturday we needed our car. Heavy set gentleman said when the girls came back he would have them get our car. We waited 20 minutes. He had the key in his pocket was talking not about business and forgot then after I said something he handed the key to a young lady and she kept questioning why we needed the car. We had a corner suite and it was big with great views of the street. The elevators were fast and the best place to eat was the crepe restaurant by the food court. Mexican restaurant was over priced and food was average. We enjoyed our stay and will return. The weekend room rate was expensive. Beware the free valet parking…our car was hit on side leaving a dent (which they aren’t responsible for!) so it cost $1800 to repair. Pretty expensive free valet parking. Park your own car and save the deductible that you paid your insurance.

Do not stay here! This hotel is dirty, outdated, and feels more like a Motel 6 than a resort, yet they still charge resort fees.

We booked what was advertised as a “luxury room” and felt completely misled. The shower constantly clogged, and there was a suspicious white stain on one of the chairs that was so concerning we covered it with towels because we had young children with us.

To make matters worse, we woke up with multiple bites. We can’t say for certain whether they were from fleas or something worse, but it was enough to make us very uncomfortable.

For a hotel that markets itself to families, there isn’t even a pool for the kids. The arcade and carnival-style games were also ridiculously expensive.

Front desk service wasn’t helpful at all, holes. Holes in the sheets, and janky elevators.

Overall, the property feels neglected, overpriced, and far below what was advertised. I felt completely scammed and would never stay here again—even if they paid me to. Save your money and stay somewhere else.

Ok room decor and condition. Sink had leak and and staff took forever to get us even towels to mop up the mess. They try to charge you for everything! The mandatory “resort fee” includes lots of useless BS, coffee in room that is self service and a workout facility that has NO water…some resort. Was pleased to have EV charging facilities which was - surprise- not free and not cheap

I booked these rooms to meet up with an old friend I hadn’t seen in 46 years. CRAZY. After reading reviews about Circus Circus Reno, I was a bit nervous. From Valet, Bell Hop, check in.. all was great. The room was clean & looked as if it was recently remodeled. The reason my review isn’t a 5 is for two reasons. One is, our room were in the Sky Tower. Well, there’s stairs heading down the walk way to the elevators. With luggage that was a bit if a struggle for 2 older ladies.. and the other was several escalators were down so we had to use stairs. My friend is recovering from a total knee. Other than those things, Itvwas a great trip.. I will definitely recommend this place to others..

We had a nice stay and had everything we needed, except for maybe a microwave in the room. That would be a nice amenity to have, simply to warm up leftovers that we take back to our room from the restaurants. The main building has dated rooms, but they were clean. If we return, we would like to stay in sky tower to see if the rooms are more updated/modern. The arcade is fantastic and was a great way to keep our kiddos entertained!! We had a great time in Reno and the staff at circus circus were very friendly and accommodating.
