The hotel even tho it was having works done to it was lovely and so were the staff!

The only issue we faced which is concerning and could put single travellers at risk is check in staff said room number out load when checking us in!
I have travel to multiple couples the years and this has never happened not once!

Room itself was nice, however the toilet rarely works which was a massive problem and the room had a terrible paint thinner like smell which was suffocating. The hotel seemed like it was just being held together. Noisy construction outside which isn’t the hotels fault.

The location is perfect! We explored Camden Market and attended an event at The Roundhouse and both were a very short stroll away. Camden Town tube station is only about 5 minutes walk. Our room was newly refurbished, impeccably clean and spacious. The bed was very comfortable and the room was well soundproofed so slept well. The breakfast was a well stocked buffet style and good value. All in all the hotel ticked all our boxes!

I have stayed here 20 years ago and got a lock view room like last time but was disappointed that you are no longer allowed to open the doors to fully enjoy the view and the glorious autumnal weather on the days we were there.

Also the noise of the current renovation work on saturday morning started 2 hours after i'd got to bed and was impossible to sleep through.

The room itself was fine and very clean. The shower is amazing with great pressure.
On the whole the staff were extremely helpful.

Excellent hotel for the price. Convenient location

The breakfast was surprisingly good and really well above what I was expecting. The service was absolutely superb. The team were so attentive, got us hot drinks when they seated us and even left little post it notes on the tables. Everything was fresh and i cant fault the breakfast. The rooms were clean and nicely presented. I had to do some work and found the business area near the bar excellent.

What a fantastic hotel. The location was absolutely perfect, a stone throw away from Camden market. Our room even had a wonderful view of it!

Room was nice and spacious, especially for London standards. We also picked up some late night food from the room service menu, which was pretty good.

Staff was extremely friendly, check in/out was very easy.

Would 100% return here and recommend this hotel

Very close to Camden Market and the Tgr Highstreet.Literally 1min walk.The Hotel is clean and tidy ,very nice staff.There is a very good priced parking 9min walk from the Hotel or one which is a bit more expensive(double the price) just oposite the Hotel's street.
I would definitely come back again.

Do not stay here unless you like being uncomfortable. Being woken up in the morning by construction jackhammersand sleeping in asana. The people working here have no customer service skills. All they do is penny, pinch you. Take it from me.Do not stay here. If I can give them negative stars, I would.

Only issue was we weren't informed of renovations and lack of aircon in the rooms, but I think this is more of an Expedia/ IHG issue than the hotel itself. After booking confirmation hotel made me aware of the renovations.
All the staff we came in contact with were friendly and helpful. Hotel was clean and quiet, andin a good location.

The hotel did not have AC and was not told this by Expedia or the hotel. The room's view from our window was facing a brick wall which was awful. The staff refused to give a refund so we could check in elsewhere. Eventually I persuaded them to allow a refund and left the hotel

This hotel is in a fantastic location for Camden Market. Literally on the canal. Great bus and tube services very close by. There is also a big sainsburys close by if you needed drinks and snacks. Wetherspoons is just an 2 min walk for those needing liquid refreshment or a cheap and cheerful meal.
Our room was ok but it was extremely hot and it had no aircon. We were given a fan but it just circulated hot air. Tv was limited on channels.
The staff were very friendly and eager to please. I could not fault them.

This was my second time here this year but took off a star because it reached 90F/32C temps and the A/C was out of commission due to the construction. We checked in late after a long day of travel, they upsold me to the breakfast (which is great btw) and never advised us of the A/C not working- I believe we should have been comp'd. We had a fan that didn't work well, so we asked for another and it blew hot air also. My partner and I had a miserable 3 nights sleep. We were going to change hotels, but due to Prerna's sweet advice to hang in there, we stayed. Sadly, she mentioned she would not be working there much longer. This is a great hotel, close to Camden market and cool rock bars. I raved about the staff last time, so I was disappointed by their lack of transparency on these abnormally hot days. I will be calling ahead to ensure comfort levels before considering another stay, since they only advise of construction after you book and no word about the A/C.

Hotel is situated perfectly for visiting Camden etc. Staff were very friendly and attentive. Room decor was just okay but I understand they are going through a refurb at the moment. Was very surprised that they don’t offer complimentary water for the room. And I guess I’m out of touch but £18 for breakfast (as nice as it was) seems unbelievably steep.

Great location near the train, shopping and the best rock bars! The room could use updating but was spacious and comfortable. We had breakfast 6 of 7 days we stayed. Food was excellent and especially appreciated Prerna for greeting us with a smile even when we arrived with minutes left. Prerna was friendly and helpful- a great way to start our days! Will definitely return!

Lovely stay at the Holiday Inn. Super friendly team - amongst some of the friendliest and helpful we've come across. Great breakfast with a good range of choices. Family room was really comfortable and spacious. Our only comment would be that we found the bathroom chilly however, as the hotel is undergoing maintenance, maybe this will be addressed. Wouldn't hesitate to stay again!

From being greeted so nicely at reception . even the friendly maintenance man taking down the Christmas decorations chatty & welcoming. Housekeeping polite & friendly. I've always stayed at this hotel when visiting London. It has always been amazing, but this year (Dec 2024) it has really gone downhill. The cleanliness of the rooms is not so good anymore. the rooms are outdated. The heating did not work in our room, and when I told reception they put a small oil filled radiator in the next day. Which was not acceptable. The breakfast was amazing, but I won't be staying here again, and will book a different hotel in future.
