You can't get a better location. It's right across from the mall complete with Macy's, Whole Foods and other great restaurants. This is right smack the middle of the peninsula between Carmel Pacific Grove and other areas, cuts down on your mileage. It's relatively quiet. It's a clean place, parking is very easy. Not fancy, but adequate. Only issue I have is that the rooms are very small. They used to have a little table and chairs in them, but no more. They do have a fridge and microwave. Otherwise very clean and nice. Highly recommend.

The front desk staff member was so helpful nd friendly. The room was clean. The tv had great reception and picture so watching the Olympics at night was really fun. It is a 2-star accommodation, so while it is not a 5-star resort, the staff clearly take pride in this inn and keep it very clean. We were so thankful to find the reasonable accommodations were very clean and comfortable. The location is very quiet and the staff is very accommodating. I would highly recommend this hotel. Their landscaper offered to help my husband while he was in their parking lot. He went above and beyond for us. I should also say their landscaping is beautiful. You can tell the people working there take their jobs very seriously. Thank you for making this comfortable stay a memorable part of our trip.

I think everything was fine, with the exception of the smell of dead rat in our restroom. It was clear that they attempted to cover up the smell the best they could since we walked in and the first thing we smelled was strong fragrance and then we opened the bathroom door and the stench was quite strong. We were able to close the bathroom door and were only there for one night so wasn't a deal breaker for us.

Aside from that that, the beds were firm and the room was clean. Soap smells great and there was AC/heating so that was nice. Would stay again (probably would request another room if we ran into the same situation!)

Clean room. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The bed was not comfortable at all. That’s the only problem we had. I would have given it 5 stars if the bed was better. Price was amazing! Such a great value. A quick 4 minute drive to the wharf. Whole Foods was a 1 minute drive away. They have Great coffee and açaí bowls for breakfast!

I booked a 3-night stay here and had a very disappointing experience.

The first room we were given had one of the worst beds I’ve ever slept on, we could literally feel the springs through the mattress, and it felt like we were sleeping on cardboard. When we notified the front desk, they told us they would move us and would call once another room was available. No one ever called.

When we followed up, we were told they “tried calling” (they didn’t) and that no other rooms were available. After unnecessary back and forth, we were finally moved to a different room, only to find that housekeeping never showed up for the rest of our stay.

On top of that, parking was another issue. The hotel charges for parking or tells guests to use street parking, but there were no spaces available. The hotel’s own parking lot has signs stating they’re not responsible for any damage or issues related to vehicles, which doesn’t feel reassuring when you’re paying to park.

Overall, between the uncomfortable bed, poor communication, lack of housekeeping, and parking frustrations, this stay was far below expectations. I would not book here again

The staff is cunning, not courteous, not nice. Rooms are insufficiently clean, especially toilet bowls and sinks in the bathroom. Everything is EXTRA and an extra charge, I hated this place will NEVER go back

Room was very clean and nice. Location is just perfect and quiet. Only deducted one star because I had bought new socks from the mall across the way. I had them in a vans bag on the floor in my room. It said room service wouldn’t come until day 3. This was only day one. Well they took the trash along with my vans bag. New socks gone. :( would stay again but I would be wary of my belongings.
