Lovely apartment by Pine Walk, Puerto Pollensa

Great communication before arrival. Saw from previous reviews people complaining about having to go to sister hotel for check in - let them know in advance we would be arriving late and were given instructions how to access property.
Apartment nice and spacious with large balcony and a VERY confortable bed. Toiletries, shampoo, conditioner, body lotion etc provided. One row back from sea but had a glimpse of sea from our balcony. Great value for money.

If you book through Expedia the instructions aren’t there that there is no reception at this location but located down the road about 800m at Hoposa Bahia.

Our room was Spacious and in good condition, the only thing was because we went at the end of the season there was no reception and you had to walk about a mile along the sea front to another hotel to sign in and get the key.

It was great apart from needing to move rooms after the first night as the one given to us smelled of damp in the bedroom. However the team sorted out a new one for us extremely efficiently! Thanks for a wonderful time to everyone

Lovely apartments

Nice apartments with pool. Not a great nights sleep due to pillows, but rooms are nice. Pool is good too. The issue around picking up your key from another hotel was an issue for us as we arrived late and finding everything in the dark with tired kids was stressful.

Perfect Apartment close to Pine Walk

Perfect apartment for our family holiday. Spotlessly clean, lovely quiet location just a few mins from the shops and restaurants and a one minute walk to the sea. We really enjoyed spending time around the beautiful pool which was kept very clean and often very quiet so that we had it to ourselves . We will definitely be back. The hotel staff in the Bahia Hotel (parent hotel) were also lovely 😊

Fantastic Penthouse with Panoramic Views

I have been visiting Puerto Pollensa for 30 years and came out for a girls holiday and stayed at the Pollensamar. We booked the 1 bed apartment to share and it was 100% worth it - we had the penthouse apartment with a large terrace and panoramic views of the sea and the mountains. On the terrace was a large double lounger which caught the sun in the evening so after a day of lying by the pool where our loungers tended to lose the sun about 4pm, we would retire to our apartment and continue sunbathing there. All of the other apartment balconies looked like they didn't get any sun at all so if you are a sun worshipper I would highly recommend stretching for the apartment. The apartment was spacious, allowing us to each have our own space for sleeping - one in the bedroom and one in the living room. The bed in the living room is a proper bed with double mattress, not just a pull out sofa bed like you get in most hotels. The apartment was visited by cleaners every 2 days for clean sheets and towels. We loved the location as we are used to staying that end of the town and enjoying the walk down the pine walk in the evening to get dinner. The only downside I have to say about this accommodation is having to check-in at the Bahia which is about a ten minute walk down the pinewalk. As we are very familiar with Puerto Pollensa this was only a minor convenience for us and one that we planned for on our arrival to avoid having to then drag out luggage up the pine walk.

Very well equipped studio with modern decor. Clean and situated a 10 - 15 min walk to the centre .... but what a walk that is along the Pine Walk. The pool is great for couples but I would probably avoid going if I had a large family as there simply isn't the space.
Staff we met were really nice and I would definitely return

Great location for Pine Walk. Apartment was cleaned regularly and the staff were all really helpful. Only niggle would be the pool was noisy during the day. If you’re looking for more peace and quiet then suggest coming outside of school holidays. Would stay again.

Not in the heart of the resort so if you want to fall out of your hotel into the tat shops and bars, it may not be for you. But it's only a 10-minute walk along a beautiful seafront to the beach and bars, and you get peace and quiet when you want it.

We had a penthouse apartment which perhaps sounds a little grander than it was but it was great value and was certainly big enough,clean, and in good condition. It also had a great terrace.

We stayed in 6 hotels in 13 nights and this was the best value of a very good bunch. Would certainly recommend it and will go back for sure.

Lovely but no 24 hrs reception

The most important thing I need to mention is that there is no 24he service or reception at the apartment complex but there is availability at the sister hotel 15 min walk away. This is important because when you arrive late and get to the accommodation you then need to go back to check in. Really not what you want after travelling all day.
However on a positive the apartments are really clean, well kitted out and close to the front. They are in a quiet part of town which allows you a pleasent walk home after a night out.

Great stay close to the beach

We had a wonderful stay here - this end of the bay is quiet and very pretty. The apartments were absolutely wonderful - the only tiny problem we had was that the wait from Fri morning to Monday before the rubbish was emptied was too long - or else they need to provide bigger bins!

Great hotel just off the Pinwalk!

Brilliant hotel located one street back from the idilic Pinwalk and beaches. Great accommodation with comfy beds, small kitchen and balcony for eating in if you are looking to. Short bus ride to the old town which houses quaint cobbled streets, shops and squares as well as a magnificent church.

Check in was a little cumbersome, having to go to the hotel to get keys. Both places were a little hard to find.

Quiet-ish location close to the seafront

Unusual check-in process (you have to check-in at a larger Hoposa hotel on the way to the apartments) which we forgot, but maids working in the apartments let us into accommodation, so no real problem since we arrived during the daytime. Apartments were cleaned regularly and everything looked fairly new (crockery, cutlery, etc). Apartments are a 20min walk from the main bus station, but close to a wide selection of restaurants and smaller, more expensive supermarkets. If you have a hire car, use the large Eroski Supermarket in the centre to stock-up for 2 weeks (if you are self-catering). There are also small beaches near the apartments, with and without umbrellas, the ones near the front usually have towels lying on them from 8am - even though no-one is there (probably having breakfast) while their towels reserve the space.

Lovely apartments in a fabulous resort

We enjoyed our stay at this resort, the apartments are located very close to the beach which is perfect for families and small children- shallow water and plenty of shade from the large overhanging trees. There are lots of nice restaurants close by and also a little shop which sells everything you would need and includes a small bakery.

Top quality apartments

Stayed in the Pollensamar apartments from the 10/05/2015. The apartments have been upgraded to a high standard, modern with all the amenities that you would require for self catering. Plenty of room in the one bedroom apartments with a separate living area and bedroom, and a spacious balcony area that overlooked the pool.
As my husband is disabled and in a wheelchair there is a lift that he could use outside the building where there are steps leading down to the foyer area. Also there is a lift inside to take you up to the apartments, albeit only big enough to get a small wheelchair in. I used to use the stairs!!. It was also quite difficult to get the wheelchair inside the apartment as there is not much room as you enter to turn the wheelchair around. I know that it doesn't state that the apartments have been adapted for disabled users but seeing as they have made the effort to install the outside lift to gain access some minor changes in the apartments would have made a great difference.

Excellent Apartments in Great Location

An excellent apartment block with tasteful, contemporary, modern furnishings. Excellent location for those who love the blissful tranquility of strolling along the stunning Pine Walk.

A slight downside to the location is that it takes around 15 - 20 minutes walk to the resort centre, however it is the most beautiful stroll along Pine Walk with the calm clear sea and mountainous backdrop. However this was not entirely appreciated when we arrived at 3:00am and had to walk a 30 minute round trip to collect our room key from Hotel Bahia with my partner carrying both suitcases and me 5 1/2 months pregnant. This system certainly needs to be reconsidered and communicated to customers in advance of their arrival.

The hotel did advise us that the normal procedure is to press the buzzer and the Reception staff at Hotel Bahia will give you a code to get your room key from just inside. I think it was a new member of staff on their Reception that night as there was no response on the buzzer.

Shame as this was extremely inconvenient at that time in the morning. Aside from this we can highly recommend Hoposa Pollensamar as a great apartment option in the best area in Puerto Pollensa. Thank you very much for giving us a room with a sea view as requested too.

Peace and quiet 2 mins walk from the beautiful pine walk

If you like peace and quiet and don't mind a short walk to the cafés restaurants and bars on the front this is the place for you. The apartments all have balconies that have a view of the sea (through the gaps in the villas in front) and the mountains behind. They are spacious well equipped and extremely clean (serviced 3 times a week). The whole block was refurbished to a really high standard only 2 years ago. They are part of the Hoposa group which includes The Illa D'or Diana and Bahia - all excellent too. We wouldn't stay anywhere else in PP and have been going back for the last 5 Easters.

Great value, modern apartment in quiet location

Great spot just off the pine walk, quiet with a pretty outlook and scenic walk (10 mins) into town. Apartments well equipped and modern with spacious balconies and a partial sea view. Kitchen (in studio) a bit short on storage space for food so don't do a huge shop!
Ingenious system for access to room as reception not staffed, all done over intercom on arrival. Receptionists at hotel Bahia (staffed 24hr) very helpful and sorted out a minor electrical problem efficiently and also kindly printed out our boarding passes for us.
Great part of the island with easy access to Cap Formentor, Pollensa, cala San Vincenç and Alcudia bay. Also feasible to reach most of the rest of the island for day trips within about 90mins drive. Port de Pollensa itself nice in an unremarkable way, but a pleasant base and good market on Wednesdays.

Great holiday

A Wonderful holiday, really pleased with the apartment, it was very clean and modern. The location was brilliant, just a short walk along the sea front to all the restaurants, where you would find plenty of choices to cater for all tastes. The harbour was lovely to walk around viewing all the beautiful boats, it really had a peaceful feel to the area.
I don't feel i want to big the area up to much for the fear of it becoming too commercialised like other parts of Mallorca!! Seriously it was a lovely area to stay in.
One negative feedback, the air-conditioning in the room was not working, we should of mentioned it at the hotel reception, but as we only needed it on the one occasion due to moderate temperatures we let it go. I'm sure the problem would of been rectified if we chose to speak up.
Overall a great place to stay.

Apartments were perfect and in a great situation

The apartments are very clean but think when things get broken they should be sorted straight away. The towel rack below sink was broken and shower made a terrible noise. There should be a sheet of paper to write your complaints on and the maid should see these are carried out. Also small bin in bathroom did not look new or clean. Chrome should be shining on arrival.

Great apartments, very clean and comfortable cannot fault. Bahia staff very friendly. One negative for our family is we spent a few nights in, as a family from the U.K there were only two BBC channels available, would recommend to sort out a better variety, film 4 etc.
Fourth time to the resort and always a pleasure to return. Xx

Fabulous, well equipped apartment.

We travelled early May, away from school holidays and the apartments were nice and quiet. Beautifully clean and very well maintained, they were refurbished last year, so are to a very high standard. The bathroom had a fabulous walk in shower. The one bedroomed apartment had a huge, comfortable bed and blackout blinds. Kitchen area had a fridge, small cooker and was well equipped, with the living area and large balcony over looking the pool. Great location in a quiet residential area along the pine walk. Would we recommend? Absolutely!

Quiet, peaceful, modern

We enjoyed our stay at the Hoposa Apartments Pollensamar, it was just what we were looking for, quiet, clean, and as the apartments had just been renovated last year, modern.
It is situated one block back from the sea front, but we had an excellent view across the sea, could not have asked for etter..
It is a little confusing finding the Hotel Bahai to check in as there are no instructions when you arrive, but we asked a local person who sent us in the right direction.
The staff were excellent at the Bahai, as we left a bag in the room on our last day, and within minutes, no fuss and our approval the bag was on its way to the airport in a taxi, and we had it in time for take off.

Great apartments, high standard. Shuttle needed

The apartments were an excellent standard and in a lovely setting however having to check in at the Hotel 10 minutes walk away wasn't so good, especially as it was raining when we arrived! The walk was lovely in the sunshine and without luggage but would suggest a shuttle service for arrivals and departures. Also might think twice if traveling alone as it was a quite walk back in the evening (albeit off season).Overall a good stay though and the Hotel staff were very helpful.
