Well, the room was in good condition overall, but when my son went to open the sofa bed so he could sleep there (since I had recently had surgery and it was more comfortable for him that way), the sofa was completely dirty, the sheets were covered in mustard, and there was even a sock there! My son called reception, and they told him they couldn't do anything because the cleaning staff had already left. My son went down and asked for another option. The guy told him he would have to change the sheets himself, that there were some in the room's closet. Imagine paying so much money per night there and then having to do all that yourself! The guy told my son that we would receive compensation for it. My son emailed him the photos, and the next day we spoke with another woman at the front desk who recommended that since we had booked through Expedia, we should call the hotel's customer service. We did this three times, speaking to three different people, and we sent them the photos again. Their final resolution was that they couldn't do anything because the cleaning staff had sent them photos of the room after they finished cleaning, and none of the photos showed the sofa bed open. In short, they didn't take responsibility for anything, which I find disrespectful and a serious lack of hygiene, especially given my condition. I don't recommend them at all. This is the first time I've had such a bad experience regarding cleanliness.

Kitchen was dirty, even when distes were cleaned, everything else was dirty, it looks like they didn’t take the time to clean where the dishes/pans goes and then we have received a pest control people go to the kitchen in the middle of my first day. This property is located within close distance to most nearby sights. Publix is within walking distance. We used Uber and the pick up/drop off was flawless. The rooms are as advertised, spacious and clean . No complaints. Staff was always available for questions and were very helpful.

Comfortable (not-so) stay in Brickell
The stay at Roami was very comfortable with plenty of room for my family to spread out and feel at home. The cleanliness of the unit could be improved but not bad overall. The location is great in Brickell and within a short walking distance of many area restaurants. Parking is in the basement was small and tight but no problem to find a spot. The beds in the unit are very worn and dated and sagging in the middle which made our backs hurt. I understand that these could not be switched out during our stay but needs to be addressed.

Stay was ok, but I have an issue with hotels that charge $15 a day to park when I’m already paying to stay there. Also, I booked a “4 bedroom suite”. It ended up being 2- 2 bedrooms that were across the hall from one another. Advertised as 4 bedroom that was 2-2 beds with adjoining door.

I stayed at the room one five zero two.There is a construction happening next to the property. We have been to this place so many times but this time round I feel like restless because of the construction noise that happens early morning everyday. During my stay the day before I’m leaving it’s raining so hard and I fall so hard on the floor at the entrance door of tower 1 and I have to call them to let them know about the accident and warn them about the anti slip mat which was not there.
The keycard doesn’t work and I have go back to reception 3 times to make them understand that it’s really not working and have to reprogram the key.
The next door DOG room one five zero three are barking like maniac and I told the receptionist about it. She replied as this is a pet friendly place if I heard the noise again she will be gladly to move the room for me. She is helping on her limit and I understand all the staffs are very helpful.

Fire Alarm chaos at Roami
Habitat Residence-Roami was overall a good place to stay for my family and I. However, I would not consider it as a future possibility as a stay while in Miami for the following and very important reason: fire alarms went off 4 times between the hours of 3:45-6:11 am on Saturday morning. After it was safe to go back in, we asked the person at the front desk why the alarm had gone off and were told it was a false alarm. Needless to say we couldn’t sleep after the other alarms were heard which was very unfortunate since we were having my father’s funeral later that day!
