Location: Great location just 2 blocks from the waterfront. Easy parking on the street outside. Hotel: Very good as we stayed in the adults section and it was quiet. Its a sport centric hotel so there was a nice gym and they provided a good buffet breakfast in the morning. Rooms: Spaciois with a balcony and small kitchenet which was great. Staff: They were helpful and friwndly. Nonissues with this hotel and i would stay here again.

This hotel was close to the beaches and the waterfront restaurants and shops. While breakfast was additional, it was great and a better deal than the restaurants. The staff was very courteous and helpful. Parking was streetside, right out front, and free!

Very small accommodation for the price, tiny balcony, tiny kitchen and really no space to eat.
Cleaning staff helpful but very smelly bathroom which couldn’t be sorted out, bad drains. Not a comfortable apartment which I had expected!

We loved our stay it was perfect for us with our toddler and my parents. Just crossed the road to main hotel villaconcha but loved staying in the more quiet montelin studios for privacy and small pool away from everyone else but still using all the main hotel facilities. Was very impressed with the hotel and staff were so friendly. Beach is a 2 to 3 minute walk up the road and minutes to restaurants we will defo return

Great Gem!

Second time staying here!
Has the best of both worlds with the rooms having kitchenettes! Room really well thought out, great aircon.
You can dip in and out of the wanting food and drink at hotel. Great pool!
Staff are super friendly and great service!
Location is perfect - quiet as 2 blocks back from the seat front which is only a 3mins away where there are shops to buy everything you need!

Absolutely fantastic base for Mallorca sport. Great garage for bikes. Great spa and pool. The breakfast in the morning is perfect for aspiring athletes. All topped off with fantastic service. Stayed for the Mallorca312 event for which they put on a special 4am breakfast service, something we were incredibly thankful for

This hotel was brilliant. It’s got two locations which are separated by a street so the main hotel with the two pools, restaurants, reception etc are in one building and then the other pool and the aparthotel-rooms are over the road.

There is a bike hire shop attached to the hotel and they have tools and a big bike garage to store your bike. It’s about 1 min walk from the beach.

Room was pristine and the staff were ace.

NB - I got bitten by mozzies so make sure to get mozzie spray. This is nothing to do with the hotel as it will be the same everywhere but just a tip!

The hotel and facilities were great and the staff very friendly. But the apartments at montelin were disappointing there was a slightly damp smell and the water smelt of chlorine. Make sure to get an upstairs room as you will be woken up by people staying in the rooms above you

Very nice hotel with great facilities ... but ...

Very nice hotel in a great spot, close enough to bars and restaurants but far enough to back to what should have been a nice quiet location.

However, the piece is shattered by the 'animations' which seem to have to be very loud and very intrusive to those using the pool or bar area.

We tried to use the pool twice, but were driven back to the beach by the 'music' (generous description).

We did not use the restaurant or bar at all as we would have been serenaded by the same noise while eating or drinking.

The hotel is family focussed it would appear, but seems to have an identity crisis as the facilities are more aimed at adult sporty types with a great gym and Olympic swimming pool.

It was a shame as the hotel and staff were excellent, the facilities first class ... there is just no real soul to the place.

We like a bar to have a late drink and talk to other residents, but there was none of that at all, so it was just a room for us, a very nice room, but one we could have probably got much cheaper elsewhere as the facilities on site were not really used.

They also need to police the towels on sunbeds. There were quite a few sunbeds with towels on all day and which were only used at the end of the day when the cyclist owners returned from a cycling trip, pretty rude by the cyclists and needs to be discouraged by the hotel.

In summary 5 out 5 for the hotel and facilities but 3 out of 5 for the actual experience.

We checked out and paid the final bill at the property. After 3 days of our check out, my credit card was debited an extra charge by the hotel. We don’t know what that charge was about and the hotel had no message to us regarding this unauthorised transaction. Terrible experience.

I stayed at Hoposa Montelin 9-12th March. Place was really quiet and lovely. The hotel staff were super friendly and the food was great.

Great location for the beach if thats your thing, about 200m away, close to shops and restaurants and if like me, cycling is your thing, then its THE perfect location for all the great rides.

We were upgraded on arrival to the Villa Concha Apartments, across the road from the Montelin apartments. The apartments are in a quiet location a few streets back from the promenade and the beach is about a three minute walk away. The apartment was a good size with a very large bed, a bed settee, 2 armchairs and a dining area. The kitchen was well equipped and the bathroom had a large walk in shower. We had bed and breakfast and the choice of food was very good.

The location and service was fantastic. We were greeted by friendly staff. The room was modern, spacious and very clean. There was also a fridge/freezer inside. The outdoor area was family friendly with 2 large pools. There was also a training pool & gym for the serious swimmer/athlete. Breakfast was excellent with a huge choice of fresh food and omelettes made to order. The beach and the centre was a 5-10 minute walk too.

The apartments are very quiet & it's very peaceful around the pool area, if you want a little more around or you have little ones the pool across at Villa Concha is excellent. The staff are very friendly. We are already looking to return next year. If I had to pick a negative point it would be the bad drain smell in our bathroom every morning but we kept the door closed over night and by the time we returned from breakfast it had gone, we reported it to reception but it wasn't a massive deal as everything else about the apartments are excellent.

Great place to stay for some nice vacations. Apartments are good, quiet, with a nice pool. Very close to the beach. Very good food in the restaurante, is a good option to take the breakfast there, diner you can also have it, is great, or you can go to the near village where you have also some nice restaurants. Service is the best, all personnel is really friendly and nice. Great experience. Recommended.
Excelente para pasar unas buenas vacaciones. Apartamentos tranquilos, con una piscina y servicio de hotel con excelent comida en desayuno y cena (la cena también podéis optar por la población de Port Pollensa donde hay excelentes restaurantes, 5 minutos a pié).

We booked it as it is a sports hotel. Our room was in the Montelin and we used the facilities of the Villaconcha which was next door (sister hotel). Short walk to beach. Room was great and included a kitchenette which was really useful. Safe bike storage and on site road bike hire and a laned 25m outdoor pool which you could book for €1 for 1 hour. Half board option was very good value, lots of good buffet style food. Staff also very friendly. Will definitely return.

Great apartment at great location

We stayed here for 3 nights and found the apartments exactly what we needed. The room was comfortable and had everything we needed, location was excellent, only a couple of minutes walk to the gorgeous beach and shops. We had breakfast in the very sunny balcony each morning which was lovely.

The facilities at the sister hotel just opposite we’re great too, my husband booked the training pool (€1 for an hour) every morning to do some lengths and there were many other leisure pools too although the temperature was a tad too cold for us to make use of them.

The only negative being the beds which are 2 beds pushed together, but they seem to be on a very light base that keep rolling away leaving a gap in the middle.

Great location but let down by not so clean room and layout of kitchenette. Strong fusty and damp smelling room with just view of concrete wall. We'd asked for balcony/sunny room but got no reply and ended up with corner apartment -v disappointing. Room didn't seem v clean with some rusty kitchenware in drawer and crumbs in cupboard - contacted hotel with feedback but no response. Room was cold & never got any sun which was a real shame - it didn't feel cosy or homely. Facilities at Villaconcha (sister hotel) were v good incl great gym and more pools/sauna. Unfortunately the disappointing room at Montelin has put us off staying here again - we've never stayed in one of the upstairs rooms which seemed to get more sunshine - these may be better.

Fab apartments close to the bars and restaurants

Would definitely recommend, the apartment was clean and spacious and had everything you needed for self catering, the towels were changed nearly every day and the beds were comfortable. The swimming pool although small was adequate for how many people were staying on the complex and there were always sun beds available. You could also use the facilities across the road which is where you had to book in, all the staff were pleasant and helpful, nothing was too much trouble.

We really enjoyed our stay in the Hoposa Montelin Suites. They are situated opposite the main hotel in a nice quiet residential area, 10 mins walk along the promenade from the town centre. The suites have their own courtyard with a small swimming pool and lots of space and sunbeams for relaxing. Each suite has a good sized balcony and a small but very handy kitchen area.

Great for small children

We stayed in Montelin apartments across the road which has it's own pool (minimum depth 1.3 metres so not ideal for toddlers and smaller non-swimming children). We stayed at the end of July with our 4 year old. Apartment complex is very nice, small and quiet with sun loungers round the pool set in nice well maintained small gardens. We also had full use of all facilities at the main Villa Concha hotel which had 4 pools and a childrens play area. 2 of the pools were excellent for smaller children and babies, One was a good size pool about 0.6m deep and the other a splash pool with 4 water slides. Then there was the main pool and a Jacuzzi pool. Kids club was 1 hour per day 10-11am every day except Wed and Thurs mainly doing arts and crafts. There were other kids activities/games at other times of the day including kids aquathon in the 25 metre pool, boules, table tennis etc. and of course mini disco in the evening. We were self catering so can't comment generally about the food but we did eat in the poolside snack bar which had good choice, perhaps a bit more expensive than other cafes outside the complex but perfectly fine. Would really recommend this hotel for it's facilities for smaller children in particular.

Lovely week long stay at Montelin apartments. We had two rooms on first floor, both had proper very comfortable beds for three (not sofa beds), decent equipped kitchenette, modern bathroom with good shower and balcony overlooking the pool. We really enjoyed the beach as it was so close - just a short walk and equally enjoyed sampling a different restaurant every night as the port and restaurants were a short walk. Port de Pollensa is great for a family holiday and we are looking forward to returning out of season for cycling in the nearby mountains.

Arrived 3 hours early, but as the room was ready we were allowed to check in. good sized room for my wife and me and my 16 year old son, very clean and nice bathroom, only complaint was the size of the balcony, we had room 207 and this only had a very narrow balcony which was totally overlooked by 206 which also had a very small balcony, not really enough room for all 3 to sit outside but as it was so warm this was not really an issue, We had Bed and breakfast you use the other hotel Concha which is opposite the Montelin for facility's like the Gym, bike hire shop and food and drinks,the food was very good, beer was cheap in the bar about 3 euros a pint. nice pools in the Concha and very quiet pool at the Montelin , whilst we were there, there were no issues with sunbeds, no evidence of towels trying to lay claim early in the morning. Excellent bike hire shop and very reasonable prices 20 euros per day for a fully carbon bike. If you are going to ride You Must do La Calobra but make sure it's early morning, but trust me the descent makes the climb back up more than worth it, also the ride to Cap de Formentor is great , its about 45k there and back but again do it early in the morning as it gets very busy later on. The hotel is close to the beach which again was not over crowded and also close to many excellent restaurants. All in all very pleased with our stay and would seriously think about returning again.

The stay didn't actually start too well as the room door would not lock. However, after a couple of trips across to reception (which is in the hotel across the road) we were moved to a different room which we felt was actually better.
The apartments are located in a mainly residential area which makes it very quiet bur the beach and nearest shop are only moments away.
Massive plus is the free to use washing machine and dryer. Not actually advertised in the room info but tucked away in the hotel cycle garage.

Perfect base for a cycling holiday

The apartments were in quiet location not far from the beach, early May we had the small pool to ourselves in the early evening time. The apartments appear to have been recently updated with a very clean fresh bathroom and beds. The kitchen was very small but all we needed, fridge, kettle, coffee maker & microwave all clean and in order. The best part was that we were able to hire Willier road bikes from the on site bike shop with a huge garage to securely store them and after a long day on the bike the lap pool was perfect. There is also a small spa and gym that both looked nice, however we ran out of time to use them. The complex also looked well equipped for children, I would definately consider taking my children to this hotel if we were to go to Majorca.

Lived at their hotel across the street and extended our stay twice. Wanted to extend again but no rooms so moved to the newly renovated Hoposa Montelin even the same reception. Yes stylish and modern but not thought out and inconveniently planned interior. No kitchen work space. If you're not 6 feet + like me and my spouse you won't be able to reach the dishes. Only table to eat on is on the balcony and the size of an extra large pizza. Why the couch -no room for guest 3 . Tv hidden from all but one person on the right side of the bed. Desk in front of the tv 10 inches away. No place to put shower essentials except on the floor of the big shower space. Sink too big takes up room better used for something else- plus next to the bed out of the WC. WATER goes from cold to boiling by itself in the shower-Dangerous! And balcony door doesn't slide opens to block person in bed next to the balcony window. Nice colors good taste but architect or designer Failed as far as function zoning and furniture placement. I suggest management spend a couple days with family living there to understand. PLEASE DON'T MAKE THE SAME MISTAKES WITH VILLA CONCHA which we heard is up for renovation soon. Overall we loved the staff the pool good restaurant though drinks a bit pricey. WE CAME AND STAYED FOR THE POOL AND GYM DON'T CHANGE THOSE! Air conditioning broke severall times and put out hot air.

Clean, comfy beds, fantastic air con, wifi, pool, very quiet, adults only tend to frequent pool area as deep pool is no good for kids. Great location easy walk to all the action and food outlets. We were on ground floor with terrace first floor is better with private balcony. Definitely recommend here and we would go again. Only con is no comfy seats if you did want to lounge or watch TV (so bed it is). Summed up \"excellent\"

Brilliant apartments

We stayed for a week in one of the ground floor apartments and the place was spotless and well maintained/finished. No bare electric wires or mold on the walls at these apartments.

Towels changed twice and bed once whilst we were there, staff friendly and efficient, pool was checked every day and enough sun beds that there weren't any sunbed wars.

The place was nice and quiet and only a short walk from the front and restaurants, would recommend to anyone wanting a nice quiet week in a pleasant town and apartment

Great Hotel in a quiet area near to the beach

Arrive a the hotel early hours very friendly greeting. Room was very spacious and modernised.
We were welcomed by about 20 mosquitos and did get badly bitten the first night. We bough spray and plug ins and got rid of them the following day. Would be better if the bathroom window had been left closed or the hotel put a plug in in the room.
Breakfast was excellent, fresh and good value for money
The pool area was great too
Easily within walking distance to the beach and the lovely restaurants and cafes etc.
Good value for money and we would definitely book this again.

Lovely apartments recently refurbished to a high standard. Montelin apartments were quiet and peaceful, we knew we had made the right choice the moment we walked through the door.
We had a late flight home, the main hotel, the Villa Concha, looked after our bags and gave us the use of a courtesy room to change and shower

Came to the Montelin apartments 30 years ago,which was run by Mr. Reuter and wife. We had many happy times at these apartments. Came back again,in September 2013, What a surprise,a full renovation. Very impressed , in fact gobsmacked with all the improvments. plan to come again in 2014.

We chose this hotel primarily as a base for a week of cycling.
We hired our bikes from Pro Cycle hire which is a 5 min walk away. They came with pumps, locks, saddle bags, spare tubes, a free bottle and a basic computer. For €15 we also got insurance and road side assistance which gave us peace of mind.
We stayed in the Montelin apartments which were furnished with a sink, hob cooker, microwave, fridge freezer, utensils, iron & board and a clothes horse on the balcony. The bed was large and comfortable and the room and en suite was clean and well maintained.
The hotel has a bike garage which contains a large number of wall hooks for bikes all with a lock. Also in the garage there are tools, track pump, water dispenser, washing machine and washing powder - an excellent facility.
Breakfast was outstanding with a wide and plentiful choice of fresh fruit, omelettes, cereals, breads, meats, pastries, fresh juice and coffee.
We didn't use the pool or attend any of the entertainment but opted instead to eat at one of the many restaurants in Port de Pollenca which has options ranging from Burger King (why would you?) to quite expensive restaurants.
We are planning to return to Port de Pollensa next year and this will be the first place we'll try to book into due to a very positive experience.

The Montelin Apartments are fantastic for a couple or family of 3. They have been recently refurbished with full size high beds, wall mounted flat screen TV, a gorgeous shower and wet room and a well stocked kitchenette which even includes a juicer! The air con is very effective.

This is a small complex with its own pool but you can also use the facilities at the sister hotel, Villa Concha, across the road. Villa Concha has a couple of pools, entertainment in the bar every night, and a cheap, daily buffet breakfast (about 7 Euros for an adult, 5 for a child).

The wonderful Pollensa beach is only 5 minutes away, and you can walk to the main Port area in around 10-15 mins.

Great value and a very high standard of accommodation.

Lovely Apartments in a fabulous location

Lovely apartments after the refurbishments, everything was brand new. The shower room in particular was great. Only small issue we had was the showers seemed to still have a problem and were a bit cold for part of our stay (seemed to be better towards the end).
It was nice to have the quiet of the apartments and pop over to villa concha for the entertainment when we wanted it.
Entertainment team were good with the little ones but not much on at night this year.
The location of these apartments is ideal very near the best part of the beach and only a short stroll into the town centre for the restaurants at night.
I'm sure we'll return again (this was our second time).

Strongly recommend this for couples of any age.

Good location, good maid service, rooms are big enough and the kitchennette reasonably equipped. Our only trouble was with a kettle and reception at the large hotel changed it for a brand new one from a cupboard.
We were lucky and had a recently refurbed room, but a friend who recommended this hotel to us had a more 'tired' room but it was still immaculately clean.
Strongly recommend this for couples of any age.

Frühstücksbuffet reichhaltig und sehr lecker. Personal im großen und ganzen sehr nett. Apartment ist zweckmäßig eingerichtet, etwas hellhörig.
Anlage sehr sauber.
Leider hatten wir einen Tag kein Wasser und am nächsten nur kaltes.. war nicht sehr angenehm - vor allem für unsere einjährige Tochter.. an der Rezeption wurde uns leider nicht viel geholfen \"man arbeite an dem Problem\".. fertig.. naja am dritten Tag funktioniere es wieder.

Waren mit zwei Erwachsenen und einem Kind in einer Wohnung. Ausreichend Platz vorhanden. Die umliegenden Straßen waren ruhig. Personal war sehr sehr freundlich. Insgesamt auch sehr kinderfreundlich. Für Sportler top. Strand in der Nähe ist so lala. Aber auf Mallorca hat man ja meistens ein Auto und in 20 min Umgebung sind die besten Strände der Insel.
