Polite, helpful staff. A small hotel and therefore the rooms are rather small - I booked a Superior room. We had a comfortable stay. All room facilities were present, as described, but the area around the minibar was not cleaned the following day, and cups remained unwashed.

It’s a nice hotel and I had a view of the Eiffel Tower which was a nice surprise.

However, the walls are quite thin and I could hear very loudly every footstep the person above took.

The property is a great value for Paris. Walleed and Igor were great front desk attendants, a great help on many issues. The good: Clean and pleasant. It is a typical room for economy travel in Paris. Breakfast is good but slightly more than we cared to pay. The negative: It is a 20 minute walk to the nearest metro station. There is a bus stop not far away but we chose to walk. I'd happily stay there again.

It was a great experience. We stayed 4 nights and we don’t regret the choice we made.
The room was big enough compared to other places in Paris. We had a room with view of the Eiffel Tour without paying extra.
We arrived at 11,left the luggage there(the check in was available after 14:00) and returned at midnight to take our room. The staff was very kind, they speak french, english and maybe other languages too and the hotel reception is open 24 hours a day.
The wifi in room worked properly.
The room:daily housekeeping, is clean, modern,looks like in the pictures.We used the radiator without problems, had hot water even late in the night.
The only negative aspect is the distance to subway(20-25 min walk), but is a pleasant walk. The area is quiet and safe( unlike other neighborhoods more animated in which we dind’t feel too comfortable in the evening/night).
I recommend La defense metro station, the way to the hotel is better and you can admire the skyscrapers and Grande Arche.
I would choose this hotel again.

Rooms are small but comfortable and clean. They don't speak English well, outside a few staff, though the site says so. We were not able to communicate a potentially serious domestic issue in a room near ours, luckily we saw the wife and kids coming down to the lobby and get into a cab before we left the building for awhile to make sure things calmed down. Area was nice, quiet. From our room we watched the tower light up at night. Bus runs down the road and drops you near the M 1 into all the attractions, last run is shortly after 9pm I recall. The walk is only a mile if you prefer(of note your Metro ticket does not work as transfer between bus and subway). Hotel has a nice patio area outside and there is a great little sandwich/pizza joint down on the road below within 2 blocks.

This hotel left a lot to be desired. It’s definitely a no frills hotel. Two people were booked for the room and bathroom hand towels were for one person. Breakfast is 12€, a day but there was not much that I could eat. It would be better to go to the local bakery for breakfast. The staff was just okay. The morning front desk person was the best. The evening person seemed busy in the back room. Overall I would recommend a hotel closer to Paris or a larger hotel may give better services.

Room was fine, however, the gentleman at the front desk was quite rude. He was very arrogant, and did not explain things clearly. When we checked in he said there was a “buffet” breakfast from 7AM to 10 AM. He acted as if the breakfast was included. He said not to come down at 9:59 AM expecting to have breakfast. We ate the breakfast for the 2days we were there. It was more like a continental breakfast by far than a “buffet.” When I went to check out, the man at the front desk said I owed him 48 euros for the cold breakfast we had (12 euros per person per day). I told him that I thought it was included and that he never said it wasn’t like most hotels. He simply said it was my responsibility to know. What a scam and a rip off. 12 euros for a cold, Continental breakfast! Never again!

Unprofessional staff with cramped rooms

It was a forgettable experience to stay in this hotel. The electronic keys were not working from Day 1. Couldn't go out and back in the room without calling staff. Then the staff key also didn't work one night, and the staff said it's not their problem! Really? I have paid and I can't sleep in my room, where am I supposed to sleep? It was thoroughly unprofessional, and the staff didn't care at all.

When I checked in, the access key wasn't working. The manager had to let me in every time i wanted go inside my room. Later when i returned from sightseeing(11.30 pm) none of the keys worked. I was in the lobby fr two hours as the night manager couldn't open my room and his response was \"Not my problem\". I had to argue and explain that I paid for the stay and where should I go at 1 am in night? He was unwilling to call his manager which he eventually did to find there is a manual key for the room. I entered my room around 2 am. Room was not cleaned for two days

Only 1 English Channel on tv (and that was CNN, so only news of hurricane)
Lack of decent tea and coffee facilities, we had to ask for cups and keep asking for milk etc.
Staff sent us in wrong direction for the Metro.

Nothing but a view

I am really disappointed in this hotel. I had to stay here as I met some colleagues nearby. What a mistake.
Reaching the hotel by public transport takes more than two hours from CDG. When I eventually arrived I checked in, it was OK and went to my room. I have to say the view was quite something. Straight on to the Eiffel Tower in the distance and a nice little garden just outside the hotel (probably it belongs to the apartment house next to it. I guess that view doesn't come with all rooms, you have to book the more expensive ones.
And that was it all about. I was give a wifi code at the reception but I couldn't connect. I phoned up the reception and was told the router has broken and they can't fix it that day.
The room itself was so tiny you almost had to jump over the bed to get to the window. So tiny there wasn't even a wardrobe! I was looking for it for a while when I saw it was put in the bathroom! That was new to me. It was just a rail with some hangers, enough for two nights the most. On your own.
When I tried to sleep I woke up to every noise in the hotel. If someone sneezed or coughed or moved some furniture I heard it. And it's not my hearing, it's the walls probably made of paper.
Breakfast was my second to last disappointment in this hotel, I can only describe it as poor. No, poorer.
My last disappointment was at the check out, how the receptionist manage to handle the process without the tiniest sign of a smile. Just one little smile, is that much to ask for?

Expedia's website and their own website said they had room service and laundry--both of these were not really true. There were no laundry services for hotel guests, and the room service was really confined to their breakfast service (which was really expensive, especially since there are two patisserie's nearby.) Their staff were very friendly and professional, and I really appreciated that. The room was small but adequate, and always clean. Although not centrally located (it's in Coubervoire, a suburb) it's an 8 minute bus ride (163/164) to the Port de Champerette metro stop (line 3), so that was nice.

Good location if you don't have a car

1. This hotel is in fact member of the Kyriad Chain. Better to know before looking for it, because the only board from the street is \"Kyriad\". Don't lose your time (as I did) to find a board \" Hotel Rives de Paris\".
2. Very limited internet bandwidth. Don't expect to download a huge file or see a video.
3. The worst issue are the parking conditions!! On-street is totally overload and you can look for a bay during more than 40 minutes. They have a parking, but so far that's not an option. If you rent a car, forget this destination.
4. However, two good ponts: Friendly welcome from the desk and you can press your orange juice at breakfast (which is usually not the case in similar hôtels).

Good value for money close to La Defense area.

This is now the Kyriad Hotel, La Defense, Courbevoie. They provided us with an excellent, if somewhat cramped, handicapped accessible room with, in effect, a private patio (an exterior area between the breakfast room and our separate \"cabin\". The one negative was the distance of the (included) parking from the hotel -around 500 metres distant.

For the price of the room, the hotel was exactly what you would expect. Nothing luxurious about it, nothing exceptional, but perfectly clean, functional, comfortable. Breakfast is an additional €12 for a continental breakfast, again perfectly good for the price.
Internet in the room was complementary and quite fast with a strong signal.
For business, the hotel is an easy 20 minute walk to the heart of La Defense, which takes the same time as the dodgy taxis which go out of their way to rack up the fare (as soon as they know that you're using a company card).
Brilliant, well priced restaurants very close by for dinner, and 5 mins away from a big supermarket to buy French food to take back home!

Perfect for what i needed - exceeded expectations

I was looking for somewhere inexpensive within walking distance if La Defense business district. This hotel was perfect and much nicer than I expected for the price (though the breakfasts at €12 each would add a fair amount if 2+ people staying). Staff very helpful and friendly. Only downsides are: 1) no irons in room, and 2) parking is about 1 km away if you use the recommended garage. Too far. That said I will not hesitate top return here on my next trip.

No one seemed available to advise on local transport and area.

An average stay far from metro station

The hotel is average one. I paid 100 pound for one night so that was not good value. Hotel is a bit far from centre and far from metro station.

My main complain is that we booked for a double bed room but we were given twin bed and beds were sliding from each other so not good for a couple !!

The look and feel is ok, small but clear room.

Will I recommend ? No ! But if you can't find any better deal then go for it.

We came to Paris for a conference in La Defence, a soulless part of Paris, and it was only by accident that we stayed in a charming suburb relatively nearby named Becon-les-Bruyere. This SNCF station with all its village-like amenities is about a 10min walk from the hotel, Kyriad Paris Ouest. The hotel room was smaller than we expected but it is kept very clean and the free Wifi is very useful in Paris for leisure as well as more formal reasons. The breakfast selection was good, and worth the additional €11per person - a surprising bill at the end of the stay, but in a city of high bills, Kyriad Paris Ouest, offers good value. Soap and gel are provided but if you're fussy, bring your own.

I cannot fault the hotel. The staff were courteous and helpful and the room was quiet, clean and comfortable, if a little small.

The area is a bit marginal, however, so for restaurants and bars I would recommend turning right out of the hotel door, not left, where the area still needs improvement.

You should also note that you are a 20 minute walk or 7 Euro cab ride from the centre of La Defense Grande Arche. That didn't bother me in the slightest, but it may matter to some people.

My girlfriend and I have just come back from a three night stay at Kyriad Paris Ouest and we really enjoyed our time there. The hotel is clean and modern, the rooms are small but perfect for what you need on a trip to Paris. Very clean, flat screen TV (not that you'll watch it!) tea, and coffee in the room as well as a mini-bar should you need it. The bathroom was very clean and modern, fresh towels every day and it was spotless all the time. THere is breakfast available but we never had it. The hotel is a little bit out of Paris but not far from a Metro station maybe 10 mins walk / 5 mins on bus which will take you directly into Paris. On this walk you can visit the bakeries and butchers and get a real sense of what Paris is like for the people that live there, it is also close to le Grande Arche which has various art events and lights shows on throughout the year. You can also see the Eiffel Tower from the hotel and is particularly impressive at night. Very laid back and quiet area. The staff are extremely helpful, telling us where to go for different things, drawing on maps, and giving you some 'inside info' on where is best to go for what. I honestly cannot recommend this hotel enough, especially for the price.

The Kyriad in La Defense-I would stay again....

We truly enjoyed our stay in Paris. I could not believe that the Tour D'Eiffel could be seen out of our window. The Kyriad was close to transportation and was very easy to get to the tour busses to see all of the sites. The staff at the hotel were wonderful. It was also nice to have a kettle in our room to make hot beverages. We would stay again in a second. Thanks for a wonderful time.

The hotel is a built within saint denis and its surrounding areas is probably is as close as u will see the locals true form., having local patisseries and supermarkets around. locating about 15mins from the grande arche it is amazing however this means its station is far if u are looking for a short stay. the hotel provided me with a cute sized double bed room and is aesthetically clean and pleasing. the service and atmosphere is spot on. i would only recommend the hotel but not for its location.

The hotel was nice, clean, comfortable. On my last day in Paris I stayed at other hotel in St. Paul, convenient location for the same price.

The website says that you can cancel with 24 hours ahead. I tried to cancel my last night, I tried that 48 hours ahead of time, and it was impossible.

The service was ok, but most of the stuff did not speak english or spanish, and they were not very helpful.

I am disappointed for this stay, because water leakage in the bathroom and no fecility for the water to go out expect the bath tub. Water split out of the bath tub and then receptionisty telling us to don't use it and telling some non sence stuff.

Bon état général mais le manage laisse à désirer dans la chambre et la salle de bain (toile d’araignée dans la salle de bain, poussières sur les rebords de fenêtres), joint de la douche cassé, trace de calcaire ++ sur le pommeau de douche)
La décoration semble moderne mais il n’y a pas de cohérence de l’ensemble.
Réveil à l’aube car la chambre donne dans une cour où est entreposé les sacs de linges sales, et il y a eu le ramassage des sacs le jour de mon séjour.

Cozy and quiet

We arrived late at night and check in was very quick. Felt very welcome from the start. The lift is tiny but works well. The room, a double, was kind of small but worked well, it had a little bar fridge, kettle, TV and the bathroom was small but good. Shower was a ittle difficult to regulate the temperature and when too many people had showers the pressure was a little low. Breakfast was simple but quite nice. All the staff was very helpful. It's in a quiet area and buses stop pretty much right outside. Very convenient if youre going to an event at La Defense Arena. I would definitely stay here again

O hotel fica afastado dos pontos turísticos, porém tem acesso fácil a uma linha de ônibus que deixa no metrô. Outra opção é alugar bike.

Klein aber gemütlich

Das Doppelzimmer ist eher klein. Für Alleinreisende wie mich aber gross genug. Airconditioning funktionierte einwandfrei (ca 32° draussen). Dusche eher kleingeschnitten aber funktionierte alles tiptop. Wir hatten ein Zimmer zur Strasse (trotzdem ruhig) mit Sicht auf den Eiffelturm. Verdunklungsvorhänge vorhanden.
Auch Minibar - hatte auch ein wenig Platz für eigene Getränke. Für ein Kurztrip gut geeignet. Ca. 15 min von der Metro 1 Station entfernt zu Fuss. Quartier ist meiner Meinung nach sicher. Frühstück war nichts grossartiges aber es hatte Brot, Croissant, Kaffee, Säfte, Käse, Yoghurt etc. In der Nähe gibt es auch mehrere kleine Supermarket.

A small and cozy hotel with excellent service

A very nice hotel, small and cozy hotel with a good breakfast buffet. Our room had a direct view to the Eiffel Tower😊. Very clean rooms and hotel in general. The best, however, was the excellent service provided by the staff. Because the hotel only had 35 rooms, the staff knew us and they were very service minded, helping us with everything we needed. A very nice and quiet neighborhood with a supermarket, some restaurants, and a small park just across the street. Stay here and relax away from the noise and heavy traffic in the center, after a long day of sightseeing and live among the French rather than tourists. It is a bit far from the nearest metro, but there are busses as well. A taxi to the Champs Elysées costs approx. 20 Euro.

Room with a nice view

Room was on the street side, right across the park and a direct view of the Eiffel Tower. Friendly staff, clean room. The heater in the bathroom is a nice touch. Breakfast was included, it was basic - nothing fancy.

Zeer vriendelijke jongen bij de receptie. Hotel ligt in een rustige buurt maar een parkeerplaats was wat lastig te vinden. Supermarkt op 200m. Nette kamers maar douchecabine was wat klein en water liep langzaam weg.
