The room not big but clean, with a small but fully equipped kitchen. You can buy some simple food for breakfast, which saves a lot of money. It is like 15 minutes walk to La defense station, the starting point of metro ligne 1. Very convenient. The staff are very friendly and they will try to accommodate all your requests. I would recommend u to book this hotel.

Brilliant place to stay. Clean, lots of places to shop and buy food. Staff really helpful and friendly. Paris was shut down due to olympics but still had awesome view of Eiffel 2 mins walk from hotel so still got to see light show. Lovely walk through area to get to shops. Breakfast was good too. Thankyou

Fab studio for the price.

Lovely room for price. Very clean, everything looked new, great view, watched the bastille fireworks from my room. Worth the extra time getting to it. Loved the area, althougb lots of building work going on. Recommend seeing the grand arch at the weekend as no building work, although all the restaurants will be closed. Has a coffee jug machine, so take filters

The room was recently renovated and in really good condition. Bed, furnitures, appliances all good. The bathroom was ok, but not fully renovated. The corridors of the hotel, stairs etc. were in quite bad state though, very worn and not very clean.

Clean, Convenient and Budget Friendly

Awesome stay! I came early to drop off luggage, and they offered me a room that was ready so I could check in, although it was early (free of charge). Staff was very friendly. The area is perfect, right in front of a bus, within walking to La Défense business district where buses/train/metro can take you anywhere. Around the corner from small shops, lots of eateries and charm. I would stay again and highly recommend!

Minimalist....but, it worked for us this time.

It met our needs......but, the property is in bad need of renovation. However, the front desk staff was friendly and helpful. There were not any other American's there to the best of my knowledge. The hotel doesnt really come up to USA standards of even a two star hotel. There is another Adagio Hotel just around the corner that appears newer and cleaner.....We should have stayed there.

dingy dirty hotel

We were there for a total of ten days during a family event near by. The hotel was convientely located. And the front desk personnel were friendly. You must be buzzed in as the door are kept locked around the clock. The hotel itself is very dated, dirty and overall in poor condition. It does not meet American expectations. The toilet would not flush properly. We had to fill the trash can with water and pour the water into the toilet to get it to clear. The little kitchen is convienent but not very well equipped. We had to request the coffee pot which was brought. We had to change rooms because the bathtub leaked water onto the floor continously. The elevator did not always work. The hallways were dingy. There is no air conditioning so the windows needed to be kept open.

My husband and I lodged at Adagio for two weeks. As far as location, Adagio is the best hotel to consider during your stay in Paris. It is surrounded by restaurants, markets, boulangeries, bakeries, and most importantly to the Metro Station. Considering the service and rooms, the standard at Adagio is very minimal and primitive. Rooms are very tiny, old, and not that clean. People at the front desk are helpful somehow.

Nice Neighborhood

While this was hard to find at first, the neighborhood itself was well worth it. It's a nice little community filled with shops and markets. It's a bit of a maze to go from the trains/buses, but once you find it, it's pretty easy commute into Paris. Was a great value. Rooms were clean. It's like a little studio apartment complete with kitchen.

This is a nice apartment style hotel. Everything was basic, but the kitchenette studio was a great thing for me, especially because I was sick while I was there. The neighborhood was absolutely quiet with a lot of families around. Made me feel like I was home. The neighborhood is absolutely beautiful.

Hotel perfectly situated for La Defense, no argument. However if you are looking for a smart hotel, with comfortable clean rooms, dont stay here. Its very tired and admittedly its been taken over recently by Adagio so they may smarten it up. The walls were stained, the bed mattress was stained, the cooker was broken, no kettle, no easy chair, too many tables.

Adagio Ade la D Place Charras - Stay Well clear !

My first comment is if you feel the need to vist here - DON'T !!
This IS NOT a hotel - in my opinion it is undesirable student digs.
The carpet was filthy, the sheets were clean but covered with a disgustingly shabby and diry bedcover.
The kitchenette area was clean but the hob markings had faded so badly couldnt see what was on or off - trial and error.
Towels were thin and sparse. There was a note in the bathroom saying to save the environment only put towels that require washing in the bath - we did - and thats where they remained until we moved them.
The toilet was missing the seat, which was on the floor at the side of the toilet, we asked the receptionist if this could be mended and were told not until Monday - we arrived on Thursday and were leaving on Monday - not much use.
We were however offered to change rooms, this was our second room - the first having no electricity was cleaner ( albeit it was dark) and as they were gradually getting worse, we decided to stay where we were - better the devil you know!
The grout in the tiles was disgusting and the floor tiles didnt quite meet the shower tray and I wouldnt want to guess what lurked there.
The ceiling above the shower had cracks and stains - looked like a leak from the above rooms shower.
The rooms were not cleaned, nor beds made and there was an extra charge for any cleaning with an outrageous charge should the kitchenette require cleaning.
The bins were not emptied and you were expected to empty them yourself at the end of your stay. This was a route march through the basement into a filthy yard area.
The swimming pool was why I chose the hotel. This was not available, it was out of order, just a foul smell eminating from where the pool was supposed to be - it certainly looked like it hadnt been in use for some time.
The general public areas were passable, the lift had holes in the wall and mirror tiles missing but did work. Photos on the wall showing the interior did not match the reality in any way shape or form.
On the plus side it is situated near to the Grand Arch and the shopping centre there is huge. There are good train / metro and bus links to central Paris.
The room was adequately heated and sound proofing was fair in the rooms.
I took my husband there for a romantic 4 night break in Paris - we will return to Paris, we WILL not go back to the Adagio.

We had a reservation from september 2nd to september 8, we arrived september 2nd at 9.00pm at 9.05pm we were at reception asking to change our room, the room was dirty, it had a very bad odor and the bathroom was dirty also, the lady thar was at reception desk was very rude with us, we finally had to get another hotel in paris at 12.00am, and had to pay again to have a decent and clean room. We report immediately to Orbitz, who were very polite and helpful.

The Hotel is located 10 minutes from la defense metro stop (which is approximately 20 minutes away from the heart of Paris by metro).
The neighborhood is very safe and there is a carrefour less than 2 blocks from the hotel, which makes it easy to buy food to cook in the hotel room.
While the people at the front desk were very helpful, the room itself isn't much...
I'd recommend if you are not planning on staying on the room all the time. Price-wise, it was a little too expensive, since I you can find better hotels right on the heart of Paris.

We stayed in this hotel for 3 nights with very pleasant experience. Good location, not far away from the metro, a few minutes from Paris. The only problem that we encountered was to get a taxi to the airport in the morning. So, my suggestion is, if you want to make a connection with shuttle to one of the airports order a taxi for certain morning hours the night before.

The location is perfect. Swimming pool no longer functioning (indefinately). The beds were too hard, it hurts after a nights sleep.

The service was just like a budget hotel, so I wasnt expecting more.

The location is OK, just 10min walk from Metro and RER from La Defense. The staff was not helpful, however we booked 3 twin rooms, we got double room. The rooms and the beds are very small, the bathroom is tiny and the wall is a disaster, mainly the cealing.

The rooms are tiny. The kitchen is way too small and very ill-equipped. The gas stove is ineffective and it takes ages to cook anything though Microwave was good. The place has a pub downstairs and if you get a room that opens to the street, it can get very noisy. The hotel does not provide a fan during summers and it gets very hot.

Je choisis de séjourner pour la deuxième fois dans cet hôtel, et cela témoigne de mon appréciation pour son emplacement stratégique. La proximité avec les transports et les commerces est un véritable atout : en quelques pas, on accède à tout ce dont on pourrait avoir besoin, que ce soit pour les déplacements ou pour le shopping. Situé à une minute à pied de La Défense, l'hôtel offre un accès ultra-rapide à ce quartier dynamique, ce qui est idéal pour les voyageurs d'affaires comme pour les touristes. Côté propreté, rien à redire, l'établissement est convenable, et la salle de bain répond aux attentes en termes de confort et d'hygiène.

Tout compte fait, le logement n’était pas cher, proche des transports en commun et le personnel était accueillant. Toutefois, à part la pâtisserie à côté, les restaurants environnants étaient chers. Aussi, le matelas du lit était beaucoup trop mou; il y aurait lieu de le remplacer; une table de chevet de chaque côté du lit aurait aussi été appréciée. . Néanmoins, je retournerais dans ce logement. Enfin, le quartier m’a paru sécuritaire.

35 euros ont été exigés à mon Epouse arrivée plus tôt(10h) pour intégrer une chambre pour éviter d'attendre 15h alors que je suis membre GOLD de Hotels.com. Avant l'offre de payer les 35 euros le refus était catégorique
2 jours après, mon Fils qui occupait une chambre à un étage plus haut a été bloqué dans l'Ascenseur pendant 15mn. Aucun bouton d'appel ne marchait. Aucune suite n'a été donné à son appel téléphonique à la réception. L'ascenseur est reparti au 8è étage après les 15 mn et il a pu descendre.
Eau chaude absente dans la Chambre de mon Epouse. On lui dit qu'elle ne peut pas changer de Chambre. C'est seulement le lendemain tard dans la Nuit et après l'incident vécu par mon fils que le staff a eu pitié pour lui attribuer une nouvelle chambre
C'est donc un séjour fait avec une grande angoisse. C'est vraiment dommage!

Ficamos alojados no 14 andar. O apartamento ficava na cobertura. Tinha uma linda vista da cidade, da torre Eiffel, do Arco do Triunfo. E vista é fantástica, inesquecível. O apto fica no La Defense, é uma regiao mais moderna com shopping, supermercados e varios restaurantes. O Staff sao muito cordiais, principalmente o Manuel, nos deu várias dicas de turismo e foi muito atencioso. Estacao de Metro fica bem proxima. Gostamos muito de ficar hospedados no Adagio em La Defense.

Literie confortable, points à revoir.

L'accueil : ni bonjour ni bonsoir de la part de l'agent présent qui certes était occupé avec un client mais qui ne nous a pas octroyé l'ombre d'un regard ni d'un sourire. Après de longues minutes, nous avons enfin réussi à capter son attention et à obtenir les clefs de notre chambre et brèves explications. L'accueil ne s'est pas fait là où nous devions loger mais dans l’hôtel juste derrière, à 2 pas.
Dans notre hotel, des personnes présentes dans le salon du rez-de chaussée rient à tue tête. Et ils vapotent aussi, à l'intérieur... Et l'odeur n'est pas très agréable.
La chambre est belle et propre mais nous sommes frappés par une odeur infecte de canalisations. Dans l'annonce, nous avions la mention d'un balcon : il n'en n'est rien. Le liquide vaisselle est presque vide. Fourni ensuite.
Nous cherchons à joindre la réception théoriquement ouverte 24/7, injoignables à 22h.
A l'extérieur, possibilités de restauration accessibles à pieds.
La défense est accessible en bus (ligne 275 - Arrêt place Charras) en 5 minutes environ. A pied c'est possible mais c'est beaucoup plus long et désagréable (ce n'est pas le coin le plus piéton du monde et il y a des travaux + des niveaux ce qui rend le GPS fou).
Nous réussissons à avoir la réception : juste ok, un poil condescendante.
Literie très confortable.
Wifi inefficace.
TV : qualité médiocre.
Équipement de cuisine : ok, sel + poivre seraient un énorme atout.
Ménage non inclus pour jusqu'à 7 jours, pas même de nouvelles serviettes !

Déçu de la chambre, non adaptée pour une famille ac bébé..nous étions 5 dont 3 enfants
Mezzanine ac escalier dangereux...pas assez d'espace.
Ne correspond pas à la description sur l'annonce..
Prise défectueuse, réparer à notre demande.
Fenêtre joint non conforme, et se ferme mal forcément.
Fourmis dans l'appartement.
Accueil agréable et souriant
Personnels sympathiques.

Lorsque le check in se fait dans l’hôtel voisin, la moindre des choses c'est d'informer le client avant son arrivée, le stationnement est suffisamment compliqué pour ne pas être obligé de galérer 2 fois!

Posizione ottima, a 5 minuti dal cuore della Défense. Per la colazione bisogna rivolgersi all’Adagio hotel che si trova a 20 metri dalla struttura. Per un soggiorno fino a 7 notti non vengono effettuate pulizie e non vengono sostituite asciugamani e carta igienica quando finisce. Tv con molti problemi di ricezione e ventilatore come mezzo per rinfrescarsi.

Nous voyageons souvent. Aussi nous faisons appel à ce genre de résidence régulièrement pour rester en famille. Je n'ai jamais vu un apparthotel aussi sale. Dès l'entrée une odeur nauséabonde vous agresse, le sol qui colle, des traces de crasse par tout des détritus trônent sur la table au milieu du minuscule salon, de la poubelle par tout, sous prétexte que LA personne qui fait le ménage ne commence qu'à midi et n'a pas le temps de tout faire!!! Aucune gêne de proposer ce taudis à 83€ la nuit ?!! Avec mes 2 enfants étions obligés de repartir 2h après notre arrivée et de trouver un autre hôtel en cohérence avec la qualité/prix. Je ne mets pas la chaîne Adagio en cause étant donné que j'ai séjourné à plusieurs reprises dans ces résidences entre autres celui de la défense mais Aparthotel place charras à éviter à tout prix ! Je ne comprends pas qu'il n'y a pas de contrôle d'hygiène à ce type de résidence, c'est comme même l'image de la France!

Logement agréable mais je cherche encore le parking qui est pourtant présent dans la présentation mais qui n'existe pas... Trop peu de places par rapport au nombre de chambres m'a-t-on dit... Bref, déçu!

14 eme étage il faisait chaud très chaud c’était juste horrible pas de prise dans la chambre du haut donc impossible de brancher un ventilo le monsieur de l’accueil s’est excusé et c’est tout . On a dormi mon ami et moi ainsi que nos deux enfants asthmatiques sur un petit canapé donc mon ami et moi avons fini à dormir sur une chaise oui oui sur une chaise!!!! C’est juste inadmissible de laisser des personnes dormir dans cet appartement sans prise sans clim . Salle de bain toute petite placards qui ne ferme pas porte toute abime toilette très très bas ... voiture qu on abime dans le parking avec des pentes hallucinante!!! Pourquoi ne pas nous avoir changer de chambre.... plus jamais mais plus jamais pourtant j’ai fait beaucoup d’appart de cet enseigne et c’est la première fois certes il est en rénovation mais il faut pas abuser

Séjour globalement agréable.

Quelques points négatifs : odeur de cigarette en arrivant dans la chambre; absence de savon à proximité du lavabo nous obligeant à nous servir à celui de la douche.
Monsieur à notre arrivée très agréable et calme (malgré une cliente irrespectueuse et malpolie).
Dame à notre départ correcte mais sans plus.
Une climatisation de l'entrée aurait été agréable.
L'environnement était calme et beau nous offrant une agréable vue depuis la chambre sur un parc.

Hôtel correct mais sans plus.
Chambre propre mais la salle d'eau c'est autre chose : on sent qu'elle n'a pas était refaite depuis bien longtemps.
Du vieux carrelage au mur, lavabo cassé, douche sans porte , ni rideau .ce qui fait que lorsque vous êtes douché, le prochain va se mouiller les pieds pour se brosser les dents où aller aux toilettes.
Bref ça va pour une nuit mais pas plus .
