Loved this hotel. We wanted to spend a few days out of the central Paris go go go, and decided to head out here. Great decision. Quirky modern room, huge comfy bed, so much light, and bed to ceiling window - a great place to hang out in the freezing Paris winter. Close to a great boulangerie, and of course the shopping centre close by, the transport systems, both RER and Metro, and a cute wander to the old suburb with more boulangeries, a laundromat, good food, and little supermarkets. Would definitely stay again.

Loved my stay, even though the rooms are tiny it was an amazing experience for my long stay. The staff is incredible an we had the opportunity to share Christmas together! Thank you to the staff who went above and beyond to make our stay an incredible holiday time in Paris !!

It was so \"techy, techy\" in the rooms and so much fun. The staff so unbelievable nice and everywhere was very clean.
It was in a more remote location, so on the weekends hard to find other places to eat besides the hotel, but the hotel food was amazing, so that was a bonus.

Exceptionally poor hotel

AC not working (during a heatwave in the city) - staff just apologised and did nothing to resolve the issue. Was offer 50% refund - which frnakly should have been 100% as I was not able to sleep. Will not be staying at any citizenM hotel in the future.

Convenient location to metro and stadium. Excellent, welcoming staff. Room was small but very clean and comfortable, including the beds - great for a couple of nights or those who don’t hang out in their rooms much. iPad conveniently controlled everything in the room - blinds, lights, TV. Nice breakfast. Wonderful, spacious and inviting common space on the 1st floor. My only wishes were: 1) the room to include music options, 2) the AC to work better. We had it set to high and the coldest temperature which should’ve been 64.5 degrees F; the actual temperature was closer to 70-72. Other than the AC, the stay was great and I’d stay again.

The stay was very comfortable. The area is a cool area right next to the sports arena. The metro is less than 10 minutes away and the metro lines take you into Paris in about 10-15 minutes which no time at all considering the actual distance the hotel is from the city center. The lines run late at night as well so you don't have to worry too much if you want to stay in the city center a little later.

There was one issue where I charged an extra $700 upon checkout, but that was remedied when I contacted citizenM customer service about the charge. My only suggestion is make sure we're careful in the future to avoid charging costumers such a large sum of money, especially after they've already paid for their stay in full.

OMG! This was my first trip to Paris. I chose this hotel from the website because of the close proximity to the Paris LaDefense Arena because I was attending a concert. This hotel is absolutely BEAUTIFUL! I loved everything about it...the decor, the room, the pricing and the staff. The ambassadors were phenomenal.. Thank you Victoria for making me feel welcomed.

Room was small, however big enough for a single traveler. Everything in room controlled using a tablet, very easy to use even for me a 59 year old technophobe. Not a great choice at breakfast so not really worth the price, plenty of cafes nearby in which you could get a breakfast. Literally 3 minutes walk to La Défense Arena so you couldn’t get a better hotel if you’re coming here for an event at the arena. Overall reasonable value for money.

We had a pleasant stay for two nights. Room was spacious and clean. Staff are great. Easy check in/out. Ten minutes walk to La Defense station and close to mall where you can get groceries and food. Breakfast was great and lots of choices.

I absolutely Love CitizenM hotels, my favorite one is still Nyc - Bowery, But this one in Paris is Awesome - The folks who work here are SO professional and kind -- And the location is fantastic -- some incredibly beautiful architecture here, and also literally directly across from the Defense Arena which hosted the Swimming events for the Olympics this year.

Great hotel, but very poor area.

The actual hotel is up to the usual CitizenM standards and didn't disappoint! However, the area is pretty grim, so unless you really need to be there, choose somewhere else.
€36 for breakfast is a rip-off, btw, - but that is probably because there are very few other choices.

Nice, clean hotel with very comfortable beds. It's got creative interior design and nice features, such as an IPad to control the TV and lights, and different mood lighting. I really appreciated the fast self check-in and check out system. The rooms sadly don't have a kettle or free coffee/tea, but this hotel is still really good value.

Perfect stay

If you have any reason to be near Paris La Défense arena, stop searching for hotels and book this place. The location is perfect. The hotel is literally across the walking path.

Besides the perfect location, the hotel is modern, clean, efficient and friendly. Breakfast was great.

I really wanted to love this hotel. I booked it because of its reviews, one review said it was the best hotel they had ever stayed at. But from all our nights there, could never get comfortable. Main problem being the A/C, it could never get cold enough. And they tried everything they could, switching our room 2 times. But it was universal across every room and floor. And so in the night me and my wife would wake up from being hot. The hotel did all they could, from being in 3 rooms I can say it was just a whole hotel issue. Their A/C just wasn’t strong enough, a typical European thing. Our American blood is just too hot haha. If you don’t like sleeping cold, then you’ll love this hotel! Can’t take any stars off for that!

CitizenM exceeded all my expectations. The staff were very friendly and very helpful. The hotel room itself was spotless, and incredibly futuristic.

My only criticism would be the inability to pay with cash. I understand as we step further and further into the future, we use it less and less. But my card hadn’t worked in France since I arrived, so I found myself unable to purchase anything.

In the same courtyard as La Défense Arena so you can exit the arena, have a drink or nosh at Billy Billy’s next door and stumble into your bed at Citizen M! Bedding was dreamy, the iPad controlling room temp, shades and lights easy to use. Yes, it’s a compact room, perfect for solo traveler or a couple with not a lot of luggage. The staff is amazing, this will be my new home base when I’m staying in Nanterre or La Défense.

Modern but small

Rooms are small. Just big enough for 1 or 2 at a push. Modern design ie most stuff is controlled by a (broken) ipad, but who needs it fir a room so small you can earily reach all the switches. I dont want a manual with my hotel room.

Sink in the main room as shower room is to small for it. Coloured led lighting in the bathroom just makes your skin look a funny colour when trying to shower.

The room service is something you choose however you want

I will come back again!

I have stayed in 3 CitizenM hotels in Paris before. I like each of them. The bed was big and comfy. The view from the room was very nice. I like the mood lights that you can set in the room. The door lock was very thoughtful too. The room was very spacious. You just feel very safe and cosy in the room.

The facilities in the room were great. The fridge was very useful. What I dont like is that there was no kettle in the room, and there was no teabag, or coffee available in the room. You can get them at the bar but are not free, unless you have breakfast there. But it's still inconvenient to keep going to the bar to get hot water.

Most of the staff were very nice. I encountered 1 that gave rather odd response to a request for more toilet paper.

The walk from the metro to the hotel was slightly longer than I expected. But it's not too bad.

La Defense is actually not too far from the centre. Because RER was very quick and convenient.
